In the distance an enclosed flying carriage being pulled by 2 Pegasus ponies flew through the skies of Equestria. Celestia looked out the window as the carriage approached, she smelt the air which was thick on this particular morning. Sweat rolled down her head as she looked to one side of the room where a pony sat at a desk and sipped apple cider. The carriage landed and the Pegasus pulling it stayed latched to the carriage. Celestia rolled down the window blinds to the window and turned to the unicorn who sat at the desk and took another sip of her apple cider. The sliding door on the carriage slid open. Rainbow Dash looked out to see the scenery of Canterlot then spit a mouthful of tobacco chew on the ground and hopped out of the carriage. Fluttershy handed Rainbow Dash her bags she was carrying and Rainbow Dash helped her friend out of the carriage. Applejack was dressed in her typical farming outfit and tipped her hat as she hopped out of the carriage as well. Rarity was dressed in a fine dress and was about to step out of the chopper when she spotted the chew spit mark on the ground, courtesy of her friend Rainbow Dash. “Dash, do you really have to do that NOW?” Rarity scoffed and Rainbow Dash chuckled. Pinkie Pie was rather erratic and lept out of the carriage, somehow carrying a large bag of something on her back and was able to squeeze through the door of the carriage. One pony didn’t exit immediately however and had her hindlegs resting on the seat across from her as she lit a cigar and took a large puff and let the cigar smoke ventilate into the carriage. Twilight got onto all fours, still puffing on the cigar, and threw her bags out the carriage doors without care for the items inside then hopped out of the carriage. Celestia stepped down the front steps of the royal castle and looked out to the element bearers. They all loaded their bags onto the backs of motorized carriages and sat down inside the carriages. Twilight pointed to the castle and the drivers departed for the castle, which was only 50 yards away so they could’ve just as easily walked. Twilight looked around the streets of Canterlot as the carriages drove towards the castle. Ponies watched them as they drove past towards the Canterlot castle. Several other flying carriages were being loaded up with royal guard ponies and some took off to Celestia only knows where. Twilight’s carriage pulled away from the main convoy as the others drove off to a different part of the castle. Twilight’s carriage parked right in front of the steps of the Royal castle and Twilight hoped out and took a puff on her cigar and removed her sunglasses as she walked up to the front steps. Celestia smiled as her student walked up to greet her. Twilight took a long drag on her cigar and removed it from her lips and exhaled a large fume of cigar smoke. “Looking good Twilight” Celestia commented with a smile as she shook Twilight’s hoof, “It’s been a long time Princess” Twilight replied back with a heart-warming smile. “Come on inside” Celestia told Twilight and she followed Celestia into the castle. Celestia rolled out a zoomed in map of the Everfree, “18 hours ago we lost a carriage carrying Princess Cadence and her royal guards on a trip to the Crystal Empire” Celestia informed Twilight who gasped as she heard the information and looked at the map. “We have a transponder fix on their location…here” Celestia informed Twilight as she pointed to a red circle on the map, Twilight studied the map closely then looked up to Celestia “ Does she always travel that deep into the Everfree?” Twilight asked. “Apparently this was straight off course” Celestia said with a wink “and we’re fairly certain they’re in guerrilla hooves” Celestia informed Twilight who nodded then began examining the map again. “So why don’t you use the royal guard? Why do you need us?” Twilight asked as she took another puff on her cigar. A voice echoed from the room behind them “Cause some damn fool accused you of being the best”. Twilight turned around with a blunt expression to see who had said that. As she turned she saw it was her old magic competitor Trixie, who smiled and got up from her seat and set down her glass of apple cider. She let out a wide smile as she walked towards Twilight. “Trixie” Twilight called out in a rather surprised voice. Trixie trotted forward with a slow sway in her trot and she let out a quiet chuckle. “You son of a bitch” Twilight said and they both slapped their hooves together, resulting in a loud CLAP. Their biceps rippled, both were extremely well fit, and veins started to bulge as they each tightened their grip on the other. Twilight started to pull Trixie’s foreleg downwards and Trixie gave out a competitive pant as Twilight started to overpower her in the hoof wrestle. Twilight looked down to their hooves and smiled as she effortlessly began to slowly push Trixie’s hoof further down. “What’s the matter?... Canterlot got you pushing to many pencils?” Twilight teased as she continued to push Trixie’s hoof down. “Had enough?” Twilight teased, “Make it easy on yourself Twi” Trixie gasped as she tried relentlessly to bring her hoof back up. Sweat began to roll down Trixie’s head as her hoof was pushed further and further down. Trixie burst into laughter as her hoof was finally brought down and she brought her other foreleg up and placed it on Twilight’s shoulder “Okay, okay, okay old buddy” she said through her laughter. “Didn’t know when to quit eh?” Twilight laughed with a smile, “It’s damn good to see you Twi” Trixie said with a smile. Twilight looked down to Trixie’s chest to see she was no longer wearing her cape she usually wearing was but rather a fine looking tie. Twilight flipped the tie up “What is this fucking tie business?” Twilight laughed, “Oh come on man forget about the tie” Trixie laughed as she put her hoof around Twilight’s neck and the two began to walk back to the table where the map was. “I heard about that little job you pulled off in Bearlin, very nice Twi” Trixie commented and Twilight smiled “Yeah like good old days” Twilight said. “Yeah like the good old days, then how come you passed up that job in Saddle Arabia?” Trixie asked. Twilight snickered “Oh that wasn’t my style” she commented as she raised her cigar back into her mouth and lit her cigar. “You got no style Twi you know that, no come on why’d you pass?” Trixie asked. Twilight began to puff on her cigar and cigar smoke accumulated in front of her face as she exhaled. “We are the Element of harmony bearers, not assassins” Twilight informed Trixie and Celestia and Trixie exchanged glances. “Now… Whatta we gotta do?” Twilight asked. “As you know Cadence is very important, to all of us. Especially with the negotiations with the Crystal Empire” Celestia began but Trixie interrupted her. “Twi what Celestia is saying is Cadence is down in the jungle and is about to get squeezed by a bunch of guerrilla’s and we can’t let that happen” Trixie informed Twilight. “We need the best” Trixie told her “That’s why you’re here”. Twilight looked to Trixie, then to Celestia then back to Trixie “Go on” Twilight replied. “Simple set up, one day operation. We pick up their trail from the carriage, run em down grab Cadence and get out of the Everfree before any-pony knows we were there” Trixie informed Twilight who gave her a suspicious look. “What do you mean, ‘we’?” Twilight asked and put emphasis on the ‘we’. Trixie leaned back “I’m going in with yah Twi” she said with a straight look. Twilight turned to Celestia “Princess, we work alone… you know that” Twilight told her with a somewhat annoyed tone. “I’m afraid we all have our orders Twilight” Celestia said in a somewhat disappointed tone “Once you reach Cadence, Trixie will assess the situation and take command of the operation” Celestia informed Twilight, who turned and looked to Trixie with a blunt expression. Twilight lifted her cigar into her mouth and took a long drag of her cigar. Author's Note So yeah this idea came to me when I was watching Predator and I thought "Self how many guys are in this group" and I was like "7" and then I thought that'd make a great crossover story //-------------------------------------------------------// Helicopter Ride //-------------------------------------------------------// Helicopter Ride The musical tunes of Big Tall Sally, by Little Richard played as two flying helicopters passed over the Everfree forest. The pilots of each of the helicopters talked to each other over helmet radios as the front carriage led the second carriage further towards the drop point. One of the pilots relayed the information to Twilight who had a headset on, “Yeah okay, I copy” Twilight replied into the headset and the looked to her friends, who were all conversing. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy sat in front of the radio which played the music loud enough that you could hear it over the motor of the flying carriage. It was deemed too risky to send a carriage flown by a Pegasus so Celestia decided to send them with two of the new flying machines called Helicopters. Rainbow Dash pulled out a package of chewing tobacco and took a large hoof-full of tobacco and placed it in her mouth and began to swish it around inside her mouth. She leaned back and offered some tobacco chew to Applejack who shook her head, declining the rather disgusting chewing tobacco, Rainbow Dash smiled to herself and placed a little bit more chew in her mouth. Rarity decided to pass the time and reached behind Dash and grabbed a roll of tape. She began to construct a tape ball and looked to Pinkie Pie who was reading a book about pastries. Rarity looked to Applejack who was cleaning her hat and smiled then looked back to Pinkie Pie and threw the tape ball at Pinkie who, almost by natural instinct, caught the tape ball in one hoof without even looking. She moved the book down from in front of her face and looked to Rarity with a mischievous smile, Rarity returned the smile and chuckled silently. The Helicopters continued to fly over top of the Everfree, their rotor motors producing a large quantity of noise that could easily be heard by nearby ponies, not very stealthy in the least. Trixie observed the map of the Everfree, “Rendezvous points and radio frequencies are as set” Trixie said outloud so Twilight could hear her. She turned her head to look at Twilight who was staring at the map. “Who’s our backup?” Twilight asked as she observed the map, Trixie chuckled “No such thing old buddy, this is a one way ticket, once we drop into the Everfree…. We’re on our own”. Twilight snickered “This is getting better by the minute”. The Helicopter pilots continued to talk to each other relaying: messages, coordinates etc. Fluttershy applied camouflage paint to her face and watched herself in the small handheld mirror that Rarity had given her. “Hey Flutter… HEY FLUTTER” Pinkie Pie yelled out and Fluttershy looked up to her silently. “Gotta tell yah, the other day I went up to Mr. Cake and he said ‘You know I’d like a little pussy’ and I said ‘why’ and he said ‘Cause Mrs. Cake’s is as big as a house’… you see he wanted a little one cause hers is… as big as a house…” Pinkie Pie stopped telling the crude joke and sat back as Fluttershy gave her a humorless look. Rainbow Dash offered some chewing Tobacco to Rarity who looked at it with the utmost look of disgust. “Get that stinking shit outta my face” she scowled and pushed Rainbow Dash’s hoof away. Rainbow Dash turned to Fluttershy and she simply winced to deny the offer. “Bunch a slack jawed lezbos, this stuff will make you a god dammed sexual Dragon… just like me” Rainbow Dash teased the team. Rarity pulled out a custom revolving grenade launcher and held it up “Yeah strap this on your sore ass Dash” Rarity laughed and Rainbow Dash let out a hearty chuckle. Applejack continued to clean her hat and make it look nice, Trixie leaned over “You know that it’s probably going to get dirty anyway” She told Applejack who gave her a plain look and continued cleaning her hat. Rarity looked over to Applejack “You know AJ if I didn’t know you better I’d say that you were a clean freak… but good thing I know you’re a dirty scoundrel” she laughed and Applejack chuckled, “Just try not tah chip a hoof and give away our position by screamin ahhh ah just chipped a hoof” Applejack teased and Rarity gave her a stern look “I’ll have you know that infections are just as deadly as gunshot wounds” Rarity countered. “Yeah that was back in 04, me and Twi both got one” Trixie boasted showing off her medal for outstanding magical abilities. Rainbow Dash chewed on the clump of tobacco in her mouth then spit a large quantity of spit at Trixie’s lower hoof. Trixie looked down to see her combat boots stained with tobacco spit then looked up to Rainbow Dash who was still chewing. She gave an annoyed look and leaned forward and motioned for Dash to do the same. Dash leaned forward, still chewing the tobacco, and looked into Trixie’s eyes. “That’s a real nasty habit yah got there” Trixie scolded. Rainbow Dash simply let out a mischievous grin and leaned back, still chewing her tobacco. A bleeping siren began to beep and the helicopter pilot radioed Twilight who listened to them. “Okay… right” Twilight said and removed the headset and motioned for the team to turn off the radio along with the cab lights. There all locked their cables to the zip line to make it easier to stand on their hindlegs while the chopper was in motion. Rainbow Dash shut off the radio and Rarity turned off the remaining cargo lights. Pinkie Pie slid the sliding door open and Trixie stepped forward and looked down towards the forest below. “You’ll never know how much I missed this Twi” Trixie called out and Twilight chuckled “Yeah you never were that smart” The helicopters leveled out and stopped. The green light flashed and the buzzer informed them that they were safe to rappel down. Rappelling wire was tossed down to the forest below and Twilight tapped Pinkie Pie, “Pinkie you’re up” Twilight ordered and Pinkie was the first to descend downwards. Followed by Trixie, then Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and finally Twilight departed downwards into the forest of the Everfree. Twilight looked up as the helicopters turned and headed back to Canterlot, leaving them in the forest of the Everfree. //-------------------------------------------------------// It begins //-------------------------------------------------------// It begins “I can’t believe I got dragged into this, Twilight darling next time we’re having a vote on which missions we accept” Rarity complained as she tromped through the jungle brush, making excessive amounts of noise. Trixie leaned over to Twilight “She always this picky?” Trixie asked and Twilight face-hoofed. “Yeah she usually likes urban environments” Twilight joked and Trixie rolled her eyes, “Just like old times” Trixie joked. Twilight stopped and motioned for every-pony to halt and pointed to a carriage that was crashed in the trees. “That’s our carriage” Trixie muttered and Twilight motioned for Rarity and Pinkie to go check it out. “Oh no, I am not climbing all the way up there to inspect that gruesome looking thing” Rarity complained. Twilight sighed “Dash?” Twilight asked and Rainbow Dash shook her head. “Sorry Twi, too much weight, I can’t fly well enough to get inside that thing” Rainbow Dash informed her. Fluttershy saw a cute little squirrel dash off towards a thicket, “Oh my… wait little friend” he said as she easily got sidetracked and began to follow the squirrel. Pinkie Pie tossed a hook up towards the carriage and began to ascend upwards, Applejack followed close behind, having been the most suited for the climb. Pinkie tried to open the carriage doors but they seem to be sealed shut. She grunted as she tried to pull them off but couldn’t. “Pinkie, what’s the hold up?” Applejack asked and Pinkie Pie gave her an acknowledging wave and pulled out a small slice of cake from her combat saddle and swallowed the cake in one gulp. Almost as if it was a strength booster she ripped the carriage door off and tossed it to the ground below. She hopped inside and saw that the entire inside of the carriage was filled with blood. Applejack joined her inside and sat on her flank and looked to the inside of the carriage with silent respect for the ponies that obviously were killed in what looked to be a shot down carriage. Applejack and Pinkie Pie descended back down and reported directly to Twilight. “Crashed carriage, no bodies but lots of blood” Applejack said in a saddened tone. “Hey where’s Fluttershy?” Pinkie asked and Twilight turned to Rainbow Dash. “Out chasing the wildlife again” Rainbow Dash said with a sigh and pointed to Fluttershy as she climbed a tree, following the squirrel. “That mare seriously needs to get out more” Trixie said with a scoff and Twilight rolled her eyes. “Don’t worry little guy I won’t hurt you…” Fluttershy trailed off as the squirrel dashed off into a thicker, more densely covered part of the tree. Fluttershy moved the branches away as she followed her new found animal friend. As she moved closer and removed the final branches between her and her critter friend she was greeted with an awful sight. Green cocoons encased what looked like ponies, who were obviously not alive any-more. Fluttershy screamed and lept back but tripped and fell out of the tree. “Fluttershy” Rarity screamed and her friend fell but luckily she came back to reality and began to fly. Fluttershy was breathing deeply and the entire team looked to the cocooned bodies. “Cut them down” Twilight ordered and Pinkie erratically lept up the tree and cut the cocoons down and Rarity levitated them to the ground. “Cut them open, let’s see what’s inside” Twilight ordered and they began to cut the cocoons open. “Good god… what the hell” Trixie gasped, the pony in the cocoon she was cutting open was half transformed into some deformed black creature that looked almost like an insect. “Twi… ah think yah better see this” Applejack said and tossed a pair of dog tags to Twilight who caught them in a levitating spell and brought them over. The dog tags read ‘Capt. Armour Shining’. Twilight gasped and ran over to the cocoon Applejack had cut open. “No it can’t be… Shining wake up… please Shining wake up” Twilight cried as she sobbed onto her brother’s dead body and tried to bring him back to life. Trixie set her hoof on Twilight’s shoulder “Twilight… I’m afraid he’s dead” Trixie told her, almost with a heartless tone. Twilight stood up and poked Trixie right in the chest “You never said anything about my brother being involved” Twilight snarled and Trixie stepped back. “Twilight, there was nothing in the mission briefing about your brother or any of the other guards here and an operation wasn’t scheduled in this area… they shouldn’t have been here” Trixie told her and Twilight turned away, “Well some-pony sent them” she hissed and walked over to Fluttershy who was observing the ground. “What happened Fluttershy?” Twilight asked and Fluttershy looked at the boot marks on the ground. “It’s strange… it was like they walked in here and were ambushed but never left this spot right here… it just doesn’t make sense” Fluttershy said in a suspicious tone. “Ain’t no way fer no-pony tah die” Applejack commented, Rainbow Dash spit out a big glob of chewing tobacco and unsheathed a deadly M134 Gatling gun. “Now really Dashie must you always carry that thing everywhere we go?” Rarity scoffed. “Why not it makes me 20% cooler, every-pony loves the Gatling” Rainbow Dash laughed and Rarity rolled her eyes. Rainbow Dash took notice of Rarity’s irritation for her bringing the ‘big gun’. “What? Would you have rather me brought clean clothes?” Rainbow Dash joked as she cocked the Gatling gun. Taking one last glance at the bodies Rainbow Dash turned to Twilight. “What do you suppose we do with the bodies?” Rainbow Dash asked. Trixie turned and made the call before Twilight could, “We pick them up on the way back… no use carrying them along” Trixie ordered and the group moved out. In the distance a figure sat in the trees and waited for the group to leave then swept down and wept over the dead bodies. //-------------------------------------------------------// Ghosts //-------------------------------------------------------// Ghosts Twilight turned to Rarity and handed Rarity her M16 and levitated out a pair of binoculars and inspected the camp before them. Guerrillas and apes moved about, carrying AK-47s and other various low grade weapons. “We could try talking to them” Fluttershy suggested and the group gave her an annoyed look. “Oh no, forget that. No offence Flutter but I’m not having another mission like Cattlebruck” Rainbow Dash scoffed and Fluttershy backed away. A gunshot went off and Twilight looked to the gunshot’s origin, only to see a dead pony with blood splattered on the ground and a chimpanzee walking away. Twilight turned around and handed Rarity the set of binoculars and took her M16 back. “They just killed one of the guard-ponies” Twilight informed the group. Rainbow Dash was about to leap up when Fluttershy held her down. “Sorry Dashie but I don’t want another mission like Clydesdale … if you don’t mind” Fluttershy peeped in her shy voice. Twilight spotted two guard posts: a monkey up high in a tree, and 2 baboons in a machinegun nest. “Applejack, Rainbow Dash the nest, Fluttershy the monkey in the tree” Twilight ordered. “But Twilight… uhm if you don’t mind, couldn’t we take a more peaceful path?” Fluttershy asked, obviously not wanting to kill the monkey. “I got him” Trixie said and Twilight nodded. Trixie made her way slowly and stealthily towards the bottom of the tree. As she approached the tree however her hoof caught on a branch and she slipped but Rarity caught her and brought them both down low, holding her hoof over Trixie’s mouth as the monkey in the tree got up and looked around. Figuring it was just some loose logs rolling he resumed his spot as look-out. “Stop screwing around” Rarity hissed quietly and Trixie let out a deep exhale and looked over to the machinegun nest. Applejack and Rainbow Dash were in position and waiting. Trixie nodded and grabbed the monkey by the throat with a choke spell and broke the monkey’s neck, Rarity caught the monkey in a levitation spell and brought him gently to the ground. Applejack nodded to Rainbow Dash and Rainbow Dash whistled, as the Baboon leaned out of the machinegun nest Applejack gave him a mighty buck to the head and the force broke his neck and her fell lifelessly to the ground. Just as the other one turned to see his friend fall Rainbow Dash lept up and drove a knife into his skull, killing him instantly and they both nodded to Twilight. Twilight nodded and crept down towards the main encampment. As she approached she stopped and looked around for a suitable tactical maneuver to assault the base, the leaders it seemed were all eating in a small hut while the regular soldiers walked and patrolled. Twilight took notice of a flying carriage and realized they would have to disable it when they attacked. She produced an instant transportation spell and teleported herself underneath the carriage and began to place a brick of C-4 underneath the carriage. Trixie watched as her friend began to sneak around the camp undetected but coming close several times to being detected. “Is she crazy” Trixie muttered, Rarity turned to her and snickered “You have nooo idea, you should have seen her in the Dog-minican republic” Rarity chuckled. Finally Twilight returned to her hiding spot just outside the encampment, sweating a little from the amount of exertion it took to utilize the teleportation spell that many times. She looked up to Pinkie Pie who scanned the area and nodded. Twilight moved ever closer to a carriage that was jacked off the ground and being used as a water pump. There was a guard not even 6 yards away from the back of the carriage humming to himself and not paying attention to the surroundings. Twilight reached the back of the carriage and peeked over to look at the encampment, so far none of the soldiers had noticed her. She cut the band attached to the carriage that was pumping the water but used an activation spell to keep the water pumping so the guard wouldn’t know something was wrong, but if he turned his head ever so slightly he would see Twilight. Twilight dropped another brick of C-4 in the back of the carriage and got behind the carriage. “What the fuck is she doing” Rainbow Dash gasped and turned to Applejack who shrugged. “How should ah know, she’s probably doing some stupid ironic plan that’ll probably work out in the long run” Applejack commented as they watched their purple unicorn friend. With an extreme show of strength, Twilight grunted silently and lifted the back of the carriage off the ground, the jacks underneath toppled and fell over. Twilight released the carriage and it rolled forward, towards the leaders of the soldiers. The guard which posed the most threat to Twilight foolishly chased after the run-away carriage as Twilight snuck back into the tree line and pulled out a detonator. The monkey guard screamed for everyone to get out of the way and lept into the carriage and attempted to stop the carriage, though it did work to some extent the carriage still crashed through the building and killed multiple leaders, who somehow never saw the carriage coming despite the monkey guards hollering. The remaining leaders immediately stood up and began scolding the monkey guard. “Please don’t tell me that was her fucking plan” Trixie muttered and Rarity chuckled. “Oh I think she has something in mind for them” Rarity commented. As a large group formulated around the crashed carriage Twilight held the detonator close, they wouldn’t know what hit them. The leaders continually scolded the monkey as even more soldiers left their patrols to see the wreckage. Twilight figured this was a good time and pressed down hard on the detonator button, the CLICK of the button was hindered by the KA-BOOM of the explosives as the C-4 in the back of the carriage exploded, killing multiple soldiers that had come to see what the commotion was about. Fluttershy’s jaw gapped open as she watched the horrific explosion, several screams yelled out and orders began to be yelled out. “Show time Flutters” Pinkie muttered and swallowed a piece of apple pie she had stashed in her saddle bags. Almost like a dose of some sort of performance enhancing drug, Pinkie Pie’s pupils shrunk and she got a freakish smile and charged towards the encampment at incredible speeds that only Rainbow Dash could meet if she wasn’t weighed down by her Gatling gun. “Let’s rock and roll” Rainbow Dash cheered as she brought out the Gatling gun and began a slow pace towards the encampment, due to the weight of the gun she wasn’t able to walk very fast. Applejack soon passed her carrying her own M60E3, that she had named the Apple Bucker. “Hey leave some for me would yah” Rainbow Dash called out. Trixie nudged Rarity, “Show time” Trixie muttered as she brought out an MP5A3 and charged into the battle, which hadn’t really begun to escalate quite yet. Trixie looked up to Fluttershy who was standing with her M16A2, her jaw still wide open. “Hey Fluttershy, one of those baboons executed an innocent rabbit prisoner” Trixie lied. “THEY DID WHAT?” Fluttershy yelled and she charged towards the encampment at incredible speeds that Trixie didn’t think she had. Trixie shrugged and paced towards the encampment. //-------------------------------------------------------// Duty Calls //-------------------------------------------------------// Duty Calls Twilight walked forward on her hindlegs, like the rest of the squad was. She turned to a small group of monkeys that rushed out of an ammunition shack and she hit the detonator on all the explosives except the one for the flying carriage. Massive eruptions boomed as they encampment lit up in a spectacular show of plastic explosives. A small group opposed Twilight and she squeezed the trigger on the barrel-mounted M203 grenade launcher and annihilated the small group. 2 monkeys came out of a small shack that she hadn’t blown up and she triggered her M16 in full automatic and sprayed the duo down with 5.56mm rounds. They screamed and fell to the ground in a bloody mess. “This is for that poor little rabbit you killed” Fluttershy screamed as she triggered her M16 and sprayed down a small group of soldiers with lead death. Pinkie Pie zoomed by Fluttershy and lept off a staircase railing, doing multiple flips in the air as she managed to get off multiple bursts with her MP5 and cut down several monkey soldiers who fell to the ground in bloody clumps. “Pinkie Pie time” she laughed and zoomed away, leaving a puff of dust where she just was. A small group of fighters took cover in a machine gun nest and fired on the group in the encampment with an RPK light machinegun. Applejack appeared above them on a slight incline and fired on the group with her M60. The group screamed in horror as 7.62x51mm rounds tore them apart in a bloody mess. She tipped her hat in respect but was soon cut off as a monkey scout in a tree fired at her with and AK47. Applejack took cover behind a tree and the monkey continued to fire. Applejack whistled to Rainbow Dash as she barreled through the thick brush of the forest. The monkey turned to Rainbow Dash and let out a squeal of terror as Rainbow Dash triggered the Gatling gun, the 7.62x51mm explosive rounds decimated the tree along with the scout. Rainbow Dash nodded to Applejack and continued her slow advance towards the encampment where the others continued to fight. “Twi, on your 9” Trixie called out and Twilight turned to her left with a straight face and blew a burst of jacketed 5.56 rounds into a baboon as he tried to get a few pot shots off at her. Trixie skidded around a corner where multiple chimpanzees where waiting with AK47s drawn and pointed in her direction. Trixie pulled her MP5 up and let off a burst but just as she seemed doomed Pinkie Pie lept up and zoomed past at an incredibly fast pace. With one clean burst Pinkie cut down the entire group with her own MP5, “Hey Trixie” Pinkie said as she pulled out a slice of cake and swallowed it back, then zoomed away. Trixie shuddered at the fact that a pony could be so freakishly attached to pastries. Rarity ducked as rounds ripped over her head. “I hate violence” she screamed and peeked up and let off a burst with her MP5 but ducked back behind some sandbags as the apes returned fire with their AK47s, which overpowered her MP5 in terms of sheer firepower. She peeked up again but the apes where waiting and fired off another burst of rounds and Rarity ducked down. A lock of her hair fell to the ground and she gasped. “You shot my hair… that bastard shot my hair… OH-IT-IS-ON” she screamed and unslung her grenade launcher and popped off several 40mm grenades at the group. Explosions tore away their cover and blew them to eviscerated pieces. Rarity gave out a ‘humph’ and turned away and began to fire upon other entrenched monkeys. Trixie ran through a building, leading her way with her MP5, and fired on a small group of monkeys but her MP5 jammed and she was forced to take cover as the monkeys returned fire. A spent brass casing had jammed in the receiver, Trixie cocked back the receiver, ejecting the brass casing and let the slide bolt forward, loading a new round. She leaned out from the wall and let out another burst of 9mm rounds and tore down the obviously untrained guerrilla fighters. She ejected her spent magazine and loaded a fresh one and lept up, continuing into the fight. 6 monkeys and a baboon loaded into the flying carriage and began to start it. Twilight walked out a building and shot down multiple monkeys as they scurried to defensive positions. The carriage levitated off the ground and began to take off, “Twilight hurry up” Trixie called out and Twilight pulled out the detonator and set off the final explosive, which was located underneath the carriage, and the carriage erupted much like a gruesome firework. Pinkie Pie slide behind a stack of sandbags with Applejack. “Shit we’re pinned down” Applejack cursed. “Don’t worry I got… dammit… I’M OUT OF PASTRIES” Pinkie screamed. “Okay we’re pinned down” Pinkie said with a cross face. Applejack chuckled, “What’s so funny?” Pinkie Pie scowled and Applejack chuckled even harder. “It’s funny that yah somehow are able tah take battle scenarios lightly even if they are pinned heavily against us” Applejack commented but suddenly there was screaming coming from the chimpanzees shooting at them. Pinkie Pie looked up to see their timid Pegasus friend, “Is that Fluttershy” Applejack asked. “You’ll pay for hurting that poor RABBIT” Fluttershy screamed, her yell was almost as terrifying as a dragon’s roar. “Yep, Trixie told her that some monkeys killed an innocent rabbit so now she’s furious” Pinkie said as she began to depart, but at a rather slower pace than she had before. Twilight entered another building and began to shoot down multiple monkeys as they returned fire on her. She triggered her grenade launcher again and annihilated the opposing force of monkeys. A chimpanzee snuck up behind her and Twilight spun around and threw a large combat knife through the chimpanzee and stuck him to the wall. She let out a smirk “Stick around” Rainbow Dash burst from a small storage shed and 6 monkeys turned cluelessly to Rainbow Dash as she triggered the Gatling gun and tore them to pieces. As one of the monkeys fell his nerves twitched and he triggered his AK47 which chattered and emptied the rest of his magazine. Rainbow Dash turned around the building to see a group of baboons in a large machinegun nest, armed with deadly PK machine guns on bipod mounts. Rainbow Dash lifted the hefty Gatling gun up and sprayed down the group. At first the baboons were relatively safe and the sandbags stopped the first few rounds but due to their explosive tips it was if they never even had cover and within a fraction of a second they burst apart in a crimson of bloody goo. Rainbow Dash smirked, proud of her work. Pinkie’s buzz was wearing off and she was less combat effective than she had previously been but still outmatched the guerilla soldiers. She leveled her MP5 at hip level and sprayed down a group of guerillas as they charged at her, at first the 9mm rounds didn’t even seem to faze them but eventually they began to fall. But it wasn’t enough to stop the entire group and Pinkie’s MP5 magazine ran out. She muttered a swear and began to reload, but the guerillas would soon be upon her. Suddenly a yellow streak flew by and several of the guerillas fell to the ground. Pinkie slammed a fresh magazine in the gun but as she looked up the remaining guerillas fell as Fluttershy triggered her barrel mounted Mossberg 500 and chopped down the rest of the guerillas with a deadly wall of buckshot. Pinkie turned to Fluttershy, “Thanks Flutters” Pinkie said and began to hope away. Fluttershy turned and proceeded down towards a small building and kicked down the door. In an enraged hysteria she screamed “I… will… AVENGE HIM” Fluttershy screamed and shot down the baboons inside. Twilight walked down a set of stairs and hip fired her M16 at a group of chimpanzees, who fell with agonizing screams. She walked down and kicked down the door on the small hut, 2 guerillas looked up in shock, almost as if they hadn’t heard the commotion going on outside for the last 10 minutes. “Knock-knock” Twilight quoted and shot them both, one fell to the ground but the other fell back and broke through the window and fell dramatically to the ground with a comical scream. Twilight looked out the window and saw to chimpanzees hightailing it. Twilight whistled to Rarity and pointed to the chimpanzees, “I got them Twi” she called out and raced towards the chimpanzees. The chimpanzees raced around a machine gun nest only to see the terrifying sight of Rainbow Dash with her Gatling gun, one of the chimpanzees simply hoped up into the nest while the other fired off a few rounds and nicked Rainbow Dash in the foreleg then hoped up with his friend and fired down at her. Rainbow Dash was forced to take cover below them and placed a hoof-full of chewing tobacco in her mouth, just as Rarity raced around the corner. “Sons of bitches are dug in tighter than a nun’s vagina” Rainbow Dash commented and Rarity gave her a disgusted look “I guess we learn something about each other every day” Rarity commented. She looked down to her friend’s foreleg which was bleeding profusely, “Dash! You’re bleeding” Rarity exclaimed, Rainbow Dash took a glance at her wounds and spit a glob of tobacco spit on the ground “I’m too cool to bleed” she commented. Rarity smirked and fired several grenade rounds upwards “Too cool to duck?” As the 40mm rounds fell back to earth and erupted in the machinegun nest Rainbow Dash took cover with Rarity and held her hoof over her head as dirt splattered down overtop of them. Twilight listened and heard faint hoof steps behind her. She swung around and brought the stock of her rifle right into the face of her silent enemy. The zebra fell to the ground and groaned, Twilight gasped as she recognized the zebra as non-other than Zecora. //-------------------------------------------------------// Too Hot //-------------------------------------------------------// Too Hot “Applejack… what’s the status on the hostages” Twilight called out and her orange southern friend dashed through the door and swiped some blood off her hat. “Found the others… their dead to… but if they were Cadence and her guards then ah’m a unicorn” Applejack informed her and Twilight took a look to Zecora. “What’s she doing here?” Applejack asked and Twilight shrugged. Applejack shrugged as well and walked off. Trixie rushed through the broken down doorway and leaned down as she began sifting through papers. “Yes… yes this is it” Trixie exclaimed as she sorted through the papers. “We got these bastards” Trixie whispered to herself. Twilight grabbed a random pile of papers and walked over to Trixie and presented them in front of her. “I think these are what you’re looking for” Twilight said. As Trixie looked up and grabbed the papers Twilight grabbed her by the collar of her camouflage jacket and slammed her against the wall “YOU SET US UP”. “It’s horseshit, all of it… Canterlot, the whole mission. You got us in here to do your dirty work” Twilight yelled and Trixie gave her an annoyed look. “If we hadn’t stopped these guys in 3 days they’d be in Ponyville with this shit” Trixie yelled back. “So what about my brother?” Twilight yelled, “I recruited your brother to get these guys and he was killed” Trixie yelled frantically. “HE WASN’T KILLED HE WAS COCOONED ALIVE” Twilight yelled. “AND MY ORDERS WERE TO GET SOME-PONY WHO COULD CRACK THESE BASTARDS” Trixie yelled. Twilight let go of Trixie and she fell onto her hindlegs. “So you cooked up a story and dropped the six of us in a meat grinder… what happened to you Trixie? I thought you changed” Twilight said. Trixie looked her into her eyes “I woke up, why don’t you” Twilight left and walked out to Pinkie Pie as she closed up her portable radio. “What’s the deal?” Twilight asked and Pinkie let out an irritated sigh. “Canterlot says this place is too hot for a pickup and says we got guerillas heading this way from all over” Pinkie Pie said as she slung the radio over her back. Twilight lit a cigar and took off her combat jacket and walked over to Fluttershy who was leaning against the blown up flying carriage. “Just what in Celestia’s sake do you think you’re doing?” Rarity gasped as Rainbow Dash ripped apart one of her dresses that she took from Rarity’s bag. “Covering my wounds” Rainbow Dash replied. Rarity scoffed “Do you have any idea how hard it is to get blood stains out of dresses… That’s it I’m sending you my cleaning bill” Rarity scoffed. Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes “I’ll change my address dumb ass” Rainbow Dash laughed and continued to dress her wounds. “I always tell ponies ‘it’s smart to pack extra clothes’ but no-pony ever listens to Rarity” Rarity scoffed as she gave Rainbow Dash an annoyed look. Rainbow Dash returned her look with one of comical mischief. “Talk to me Flutters… find me a way out of this hole” Twilight said, her cigar still in her mouth. Twilight pointed to a heavily forested area, the one which they had been dropped off at. “That’s the quickest and safest way to go… but it means that we won’t be able to see anything so the guerillas might ambush us” Fluttershy informed her and Twilight puffed on her cigar. “Well we need to get my brother anyway” Twilight said as she looked into the forest. “Alright every-pony let’s mount up” Twilight called out. “Wait” Trixie called out, Zecora lying on her back. “She comes with us, she’s too valuable” Trixie told them and Twilight shook her head “No, it’s too risky. She’ll give away our position any chance she gets” Twilight said. “You’re under strict orders Twi… no will you make the call or should I?” Trixie asked. Twilight took a puff on her cigar and a frown formed on her face. “She’s your baggage, you fall behind and you’re on your own” Twilight said as she tossed her cigar away. As they began to walk away Rarity called out to Trixie, “Hey Trix, wait up” she called out and Trixie stopped. “Do you see that weird tree?” Rarity asked and Trixie looked off curiously to the tree Rarity pointed to. Rarity pulled out a combat knife and brought it down slowly on Trixie’s shoulder. Trixie saw her movement out of her peripheral vision and swung around, bringing her MP5 up to Rarity. Rarity pulled the knife away, a small baby cockatrice struggled on the end of the knife blade. Trixie looked at the knife blade with disgust. “Thanks” she muttered and trotted off. “Any time” Rarity muttered as she brought the knife down and stepped on the baby cockatrice. Pinkie ran up to Fluttershy “Hey Flutters so listen I was talking to Mrs. Cake and I said jeeze you got a big pussy, jeeze you got a big pussy” Pinkie laughed, in a half exhausted tone. Fluttershy gave her a blunt look and Pinkie laughed “get it… cause of the echo right” she laughed and Fluttershy thought about the joke for a moment. As Pinkie walked away Fluttershy let out a shy laugh that was rather loud for her. She heard something rustle in the trees and she looked to the group and hurried off towards them. As they left into the jungle a black figure swooped down and inspected the battle scene. A lone guerilla could be heard groaning as he staggered up the stairs with an AK47 in his hands. The dark figure looked to the injured guerilla “you shall make a fine addition to my hive” the figure laughed and swooped over as they guerilla screamed and tried to bring his AK47 up but was too late //-------------------------------------------------------// The bodies //-------------------------------------------------------// The bodies As the group trotted through the forest silently Zecora finally regained consciousness. “About god damned time” Rainbow Dash hissed and pulled Zecora off Trixie and slammed her into the ground. “You mind telling us what the hell you were doing with those guerilla fighters?” Rainbow Dash asked, rather aggressively. Zecora simply looked to Rainbow Dash with a confused look, “You mean the guerillas that you all killed mercilessly?” She asked, not using her regular rhyming tune that she usually used. “Ha mercilessly my flank, those guerillas have been stockpiling weapons for the longest time and they were planning to take over Equestria” Trixie scoffed and Zecora looked to the blue unicorn with an uneasy frown. Zecora turned to Twilight “Do you believe everything this mare says?” Zecora asked curiously, obviously pointing out a large flaw in Twilight’s decision. “Doesn’t matter what she believes, the truth was all there and we don’t need to ask to know what the hell you were up to” Trixie argued with Zecora and Twilight rolled her eyes and walked away. Fluttershy stood alone holding her M16 that she had used to kill multiple soldiers. Twilight walked up beside her and lit a cigar, “something bothering you Flutters?” Twilight asked. Fluttershy’s eyes were shut to hold back her tears, “I… I killed an animal today Twilight and… and if Zecora was right and we did mercilessly kill them then…” Fluttershy trailed off. “And I’m telling you that kind of equipment is unnecessary for any kind of hunt” Trixie yelled. Zecora leaned forward “You have no Idea what you’re facing, pony” she said, addressing Trixie as if she was a completely alien being. “I do know what I’m facing, a bunch of bare foot guerilla fighters with some old style Russian weapons and…” “Hope they don’t fight like this on the helicopter ride” Twilight muttered as she took a drag from her cigar. Something caught Fluttershy’s attention and her head turned to face some trees far off in the forest. Twilight noticed her friends look and leaned over to her. “What do you see?” Twilight muttered and Fluttershy gave an unsure look. “Something about those trees don’t seem right… it’s like we’re being watched” Fluttershy commented and Twilight looked to her friend with a uneasy look. She shrugged off the curiosity and tapped her on the shoulder “Come on, we’re moving out” Twilight ordered and Fluttershy followed her to the group where Trixie and Zecora were still bickering. “Okay enough, we’re moving out” Twilight ordered. Pinkie’s stomach grumbled, “I need more sweets” Pinkie groaned. Trixie forced Zecora along as the others stalked through the forest silently. “Trixie, how much further?” Twilight asked and Trixie pulled out a map and looked at the coordinates she had marked. “Another 100 yards north” Trixie informed Twilight. She motioned for the team to fan out, “20 yard spread, no sound” Twilight called out and the group followed her order. Rainbow Dash’s Gatling gun was becoming a burden to carry and she was causing a lot of noise carrying the gun around. “I really have to get something lighter” Rainbow Dash muttered to herself as she trotted on. The group finally reached the spot where the carriage had crashed and located where the bodies had been cocooned. “Man where the fuck are the bodies?” Trixie cursed, Twilight looked to Fluttershy who immediately began searching for traces of hoof prints or other signs. “You have no idea what you’re in for” Zecora called out to Trixie who shot her a cold stare. “Oh I NEED SOME FOOD” Pinkie cried out as her stomach began to growl again. “Pinkie keep it down would yah, any guerilla within a mile is gonna hear yah complainin” Applejack told her and Pinkie began trotting around in a circle trying to waste time. Rainbow Dash ripped up another one of Rarity’s dresses. “JUST WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING” Rarity screeched, Rainbow Dash face-hoofed at the comment as she began to redress her wounds. “Next time you’re leaving your machinegun behind and bringing some of your own clothes” Rarity scoffed and Rainbow Dash chuckled. “I’ll still use your dresses” Rainbow Dash laughed and Rarity shot her a cold glare. “Hey would you 2 knock it off” Twilight called out as Fluttershy inspected the ground for any clues to the whereabouts of the royal guards. “Find anything Fluttershy?” Twilight asked and Fluttershy shook her head. “It’s strange Twi… it’s like they never left this spot…it just don’t make sense” Fluttershy muttered as she stood up. “Well we need to find those bodies” Twilight told the group “Spread out, search the ground and the trees” Twilight ordered. The group got up and began to spread out and searched the immediate area. Twilight looked to Zecora “Rarity guard Zecora” Twilight ordered and Rarity nodded and knelt beside Zecora. Zecora gripped a large stick hidden under some dead leaves. She looked up to Rarity “Have you ever heard of the hive queen?” Zecora asked and Rarity looked down to her with a look of suspicion. “As the myth goes: the hive queen feeds off of love and emotion and gains her strength secretly as others argue amongst each other, too stupid to see what is happening right before their eyes. Then when the queen is more powerful than any of her foes she strikes” Zecora informed Rarity, who simply shook her head and turned away. Zecora swung the stick up and cracked Rarity in the back of the head with it. Rarity fell to the ground and Zecora made for a daring escape. Twilight looked to the commotion and whistled to Pinkie and pointed to Zecora. “I got her Twi” Pinkie called out and began to zoom after Zecora. Zecora’s front hooves may have been tied but she was exceptionally well trained in the art of zebra fighting and was easily able to keep a fast and balanced pace on her hindlegs alone. Pinkie’s sugar rush may have worn off a long time ago but she was easily able to outpace Zecora and within seconds she was able to catch up to her. Pinkie lept at Zecora and tackled her to the ground but Zecora rolled and kicked Pinkie in the chin and knocked her back. Pinkie shook off the blow as Zecora began to stand up and swung the stock of her MP5 out and slapped Zecora across the jaw with it. Zecora staggered back and tripped, falling onto her back, Pinkie lept on her but Zecora put her hindlegs between the 2 and launched Pinkie off her body. Pinkie rolled up as Zecora began to stand again and Pinkie took the small window of opportunity and charged Zecora head on and tackled her to the ground. Pinkie stuffed the barrel of her MP5 into Zecora’s face. “GOTCHA” Pinkie said triumphantly, Zecora let out a horrified scream as she saw a black figure approach from behind them. Pinkie followed her stare and turned her head around to see what had Zecora so spooked. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Queen strikes //-------------------------------------------------------// The Queen strikes “PINKIE!” Twilight called out as she rushed up behind Pinkie, then the rest of the group rushed up and Pinkie Pie looked to them. Rarity stuck her MP5 right into the face of Zecora “If you ever do that again… I’ll end you” Rarity threatened. Pinkie’s stomach rumbled in need for more food and Pinkie grunted as she felt fatigue start to take its toll. “Alright Zecora, where are the bodies?” Trixie asked. Zecora gave her a rather frightened look “The hive queen” Zecora replied. “The what?” Trixie asked curiously. “The hive queen, she feeds off love and emotion and uses bodies to make her hoard” Zecora said in a frightened voice. Trixie pulled Zecora to her feet “Alright enough stories. We’ll just have to ask you later” Trixie muttered as she led Zecora away. Twilight motioned for the group to spread out and check for the bodies. Pinkie was on the far left flank and was 30 yards away from Rainbow Dash as she stalked through the forest silently. She was pushing her body on reserves right now and her body was starting to defy her orders and simply wanted to stop and rest, but Pinkie knew she had to continue. As she trotted through the jungle the sounds of irritating birds could be heard, along with other more tropical sounds rather than forest sounds. “I need some candy… or maybe some cake… a pie wouldn’t be bad right now” Pinkie complained to herself. Trixie pushed Zecora along, Zecora paced along rather reluctantly, slowing their pace considerably. Trixie gave her a rather aggressive push and Zecora shot her a cold glare “What? You mad that you chose the wrong side? Get moving” Trixie ordered and Zecora turned to face Trixie. “If you want me to move faster than you should cut me loose” Zecora offered. Trixie scoffed gave her another push “Get moving”. Twilight made her way closer to Fluttershy, who was still looking for any signs of the bodies. “Find anything?” Twilight asked her Pegasus friend, who simply shook her head in failure. “Sorry Twi… I just can’t seem to find any sort of pony or guerilla tracks” Fluttershy apologized. Twilight gave her friend a reassuring pat on the back. “Don’t worry you’ll find something I know it” Twilight said, boosting Fluttershy’s confidence. They all reached the area where they had been dropped off. Twilight ordered for the group to regroup. “It’s strange… there isn’t a single track other than ours” Fluttershy informed the group. Trixie turned to Zecora, “Alright zebra…story time” Trixie said as she sat Zecora down. “I already told you it was the hive queen” Zecora replied, Trixie gave her an irritated look. “Alright, then just what is the” Trixie began but was cut off by Pinkie’s stomach as it rumbled, “Oops sorry” Pinkie giggled as she stepped back. Pinkie was really starting to lose it and needed something to eat, and now. Pinkie started trotting around as the group began to argue amongst each other. Something caught Pinkie’s smell and she sniffed the air, an irresistible aroma filled the air. It smelt like… like homemade apple pie. Pinkie’s stomach grumbled even louder as it demanded to be fed. Pinkie trotted away from the group in search for the source of the aroma. The forest trees were thick and Pinkie constantly had to push tree branches out of her face as she followed the aroma’s invisible trail. Finally Pinkie spotted it, a perfect slice of apple pie on a plate. Pinkie trotted up to the pie but stopped and looked around. ‘This could be an ambush’ Pinkie thought to herself as she unslung her MP5 and pointed it in several directions as she inspected her surroundings. Her stomach rumbled as her hunger became intolerable and she turned to the pie and looked at it with focused eyes. She laid down on the ground and crawled along the ground towards the pie. She was within inches of the pie and its mere smell was intoxicating for Pinkie, making her mouth water. She reached out and snagged the slice of pie and quickly downed it with one gulp. A loud snap sounded off, like that of an electric whip, Pinkie’s Pinkie Pie sense roared to life and she rolled to the left, dodging an energy blast by mere inches. She rolled to her hooves and leveled her MP5 at her assailant. A black figure flew down from a tree and Pinkie screamed out as she let her MP5 rattle in full auto. Twilight and the group turned to the sound of Pinkie’s screams and the eruption of auto fire. “That mare’s gonna get us killed” Trixie hissed as the group lept up and ran to the sound of Pinkie’s screams. “PINKIE!” Twilight yelled out but there was no response. The group charged recklessly through the forest until they reached a blood soaked area. Rarity puked due to the foul smell, “Jesus” Trixie gasped as she too nearly puked. Twilight knelt beside a large pool of blood, “Fluttershy can you find the body?” Twilight asked and looked to her timid friend, who like the rest of the group was awestruck and terrified. “Fluttershy?” Twilight asked again and Fluttershy broke out of her rigor state and nodded. Fluttershy examined the blood trail and followed it into a thicket of brush. “What the hell is this shit” Trixie gasped as she tried to hold her breakfast down. Zecora chuckled, “What’s so funny?” Trixie scowled and Zecora, who had been pulled along by Trixie, stood up. “Heed my warning pony soldiers… the hive queen now hunts you” Zecora chuckled. Trixie grabbed the zebra and tried to lift Zecora off the ground like Twilight had done to her but couldn’t muster enough strength. “And do you mind telling us why you were here?” Trixie snarled and Zecora simply smirked. “We armed ourselves to fight with the hive… in hopes of defeating her and eliminating a threat from Equestria… but you all ruined whatever chance we had” Zecora said with an evil like smile. Fluttershy came back through the thicket and the group looked to her. “Flutter did you find the body?” Twilight asked and Fluttershy didn’t answer, she simply had a terrified look on her face. “I… I don’t know” Fluttershy replied and Twilight got up and followed her friend into the thicket. They found a large concentration off blood and guts but nothing distinguishable for a body. Twilight knelt down and grabbed Pinkie’s radio and then they returned to the group, who was waiting patiently for answers. Twilight showed them the bloody radio “We move, 20 yard spread, find Pinkie’s body” Twilight ordered. //-------------------------------------------------------// Cleanliness //-------------------------------------------------------// Cleanliness Rainbow Dash rummaged through Rarity’s bag and pulled out another dress and tore it up. “Just what do you think you’re… OH NO NOT AGAIN!” Rarity screamed and grabbed the ripped dress from Rainbow Dash. “Hey I need that” Rainbow Dash laughed and pulled the dress back and started to redress her wounds. Rarity scoffed “Fine but next time I’m not bringing extra dress for you to ruin”. Rarity stormed off and Rainbow Dash chuckled as she finished redressing her wounds. Applejack walked up to her Pegasus friend “Did yah have tah do that?” Applejack laughed and Rainbow Dash gave her a wink and trotted off, her Gatling gun leading her way. “Keep moving” Trixie ordered and Zecora followed the orders reluctantly as they both proceeded forward through the forest. “You all have no idea what you are facing” Zecora told Trixie who laughed. “Yeah a bunch of bare foot guerilla fighters who are following us” Trixie replied and Zecora shook her head at Trixie’s foolishness. “Stupid Rainbow Dash and her… barbaric nature, how dare she destroy my beautiful dresses just so she can redress her wounds” Rarity complained to herself as she trotted through the forest. “Fluttershy, do you see any tracks?” Twilight asked her Pegasus friend who shook her head. “Keep looking” Twilight told her and looked off into the trees ahead. Rainbow Dash trotted heavily through the forest, twigs snapping under her hooves as she proceeded on. Suddenly she heard rustling in the brush in front of her. She immediately stopped and leveled her Gatling gun at the brush thicket and listened. The rustling continued and Rainbow Dash flicked the safety on her Gatling gun off “Come on you bastards… old Rainboom is waiting” Rainbow Dash whispered. She had named the gun Rainboom on the fact that its intense fire rate along with the iconic sound that it gave off meant it needed an awesome name. Suddenly a little hedgehog rustled out of the brush thicket. Rainbow Dash sighed and switched the Gatling gun’s safety on and exhaled a deep breath. Suddenly she thought she seen something moving through the trees and lifted her Gatling back up. She waited for a moment… nothing, Rainbow Dash sighed “Must be the anxiety getting to me” she muttered to herself then continued on. Rarity cursed to herself as she continued on. She had started to sweat and thanks to Rainbow Dash’s constructive bandages, Rarity no longer had anything clean and fresh to change into. She felt the squishiness of the sweat in her combat gear as she trotted on, cursing Rainbow Dash all the while. Suddenly a glint caught Rarity’s eye and she looked over to see something glinting in the setting sun. She quickly trotted over and stopped 15 yards away from what looked to be rather magnificent dresses along with some other assorted clothing. “Oh sweet Celestia, I’m saved” Rarity said, in a damsel in distress voice. She raced over to the clothing and picked up the first dress but as she did the clothing simply vanished into a green flame. Rarity gasped and lept onto her hindlegs and unslung her grenade launcher. She began breathing heavily as she inspected the surroundings and searched for her unseen enemy. She tried furiously to control her breathing but couldn’t, she knew that she had just sprung some sort of trap. She heard something snap behind her and she spun around, pointing her grenade launcher in the direction that the noise had come from. She began to sweat heavily and a bead of sweat rolled down into her eye. The salty sweat burned her eye and she attempted to rub it away, losing focus of the problem at hand. She finally rubbed the sweat from her eye and looked forward. Suddenly there was a large snap, like the sound of an electric whip. Rarity froze at the sound and from behind her a large green burst of energy flew towards her. The energy blast punched through her back and blew a large hole out the front of her chest. Rarity gagged at the immediate pain and looked down as blood spurted from her chest. She was still standing on her hindlegs but she began to lose her balance as her life slipped away. Rainbow Dash had heard the snap sound and looked over to see her white unicorn friend fall forward, blood was profusely leaking out of a huge hole in her chest. “RARITY” Rainbow Dash screamed as she charged forward at a rather face pace, considering the weight of the Gatling gun. The entire group looked over to see Rainbow Dash charge for their fallen friend. They all began to rush towards her as well. Despite being weighed down by the Gatling gun Rainbow Dash was easily able to get to her friend first. She rolled her friend over but saw that there was no life in her friend’s once beautiful and lively eyes. Rainbow Dash looked up to see a horrid creature with holes in her body, a horn and a set of insect like wings. “MOTHER-FUCKER” Rainbow Dash screamed as she switched the Gatling gun’s safety off and started the massive machine gun. The gun whirred to life and then the entire forest seemed to be filled with the tremendous and awe-inspiring sound of the M134 Gating gun. Rainbow Dash continued to let out a roar as she held the trigger on the Gatling gun down. 7.62x51mm rounds tore away at trees. The assassin made for a timely escape. The others joined Rainbow Dash and at her side they all opened fire with their weapons. Zecora fell to the ground and covered her ears due to the insane amount of noise being produced by the weapons. Rainbow Dash continued to fire her massive machinegun and the rounds began to chop down trees as the gun fired at a rate of 6000 rounds per minute. Applejack’s M60 rattled in her hooves but she kept her machinegun at hip level, and like her rainbow haired Pegasus friend she too began to cut down trees. Trixie’s MP5 was hindered by the larger weapons wielded by the others and she looked down to Rarity’s dead body and spotted her custom revolving grenade launcher. Slinging her MP5 on her back she picked up Rarity’s grenade launcher and began to fire rounds towards the jungle where they grenade rounds exploded mercilessly. Twilight held her M16 in one hoof and fired the assault rifle and pulled out her sidearm, a Desert Eagle .44 magnum and began to fire that into the forest. Her M16’s magazine ran dry and she triggered the M203 grenade launcher. The 40mm grenade round blew apart the bottom off a tree and that tree collapsed downwards and contributed to the large pile of fallen trees the team was making. Twilight reloaded a fresh magazine into her M16 and began to fire it again. Rainbow Dash preformed large horizontal arcs with her Gatling gun and finally after a full minute of firing her massive gun the ammunition feed ran dry and the gun whirred but didn’t fire. A few moments later the entire team ceased fire and looked into the large smoke cloud created by all the firepower they had spit into the forest. Brass casings and spent magazines littered the ground and the barrels of all the weapons smoked. Rainbow Dash continued to hold the trigger on her Gatling gun down and the gun’s red hot barrels continued to spin, the whirring noise was all that could be heard. The smoke began to clear and the team began to stand up, Twilight looked to Rainbow Dash who was breathing heavily. Rainbow Dash let her hoof off the trigger and the gun whirred to a stop. Twilight and Fluttershy both reloaded their M16s and stepped forward into the large mess of knocked down trees, in search for their assassin. Zecora got up and followed the team, all except Rainbow Dash who simply stood there with her Gatling gun, posed in the exact same position she was when she started shooting. As Zecora followed the team she spotted a green liquid on a tree leaf and brought her hoof towards it. The mere touch of the liquid made her shiver and it felt almost like blood. “Hey! Come on” Trixie ordered and Zecora wiped the green liquid off on her hindleg and followed the group back to Rainbow Dash and the recently deceased Rarity. Fluttershy immediately rushed to Rarity’s side and began to check for vital signs, it was a useless effort really, any-pony with any-sort of common sense would know there was no saving her. “NOOO” Fluttershy screamed as she began to weep over her dead unicorn friend. Fluttershy pointed to Applejack who was carrying Pinkie’s radio. “Call us an extraction team…NOW” //-------------------------------------------------------// Last Stand //-------------------------------------------------------// Last Stand “We’re not staying the night!” Trixie argued, “We have no choice, HQ said we’ll have to wait for morning then pass through a checkpoint before they come and pick us up” Twilight replied. Trixie scoffed and tugged Zecora away but as they left Zecora looked back “It hunts us all” Zecora told them. Twilight pointed to Applejack and Rainbow Dash, “set up a defensive perimeter with claymores, Fluttershy… get Rarity’s body” Twilight ordered. “I got her” Applejack said sadly and Twilight nodded and the group began to set up a defensive perimeter. * * * The sun was setting and as Twilight watched the sunset Applejack came up behind her. “Defensive perimeter is set, nothin getting through without settin somethin off” Applejack informed Twilight who nodded. As Applejack turned to leave Twilight turned to her, “She was a good pony” Twilight said solemnly. Applejack turned to her with a dire look “She was… my friend” Applejack replied and continued to walk away. Back where the group had made camp Trixie was arguing with the disgruntled Rainbow Dash and Zecora. “I’m telling you there isn’t anything out there but a bunch of bare foot fucking guerillas” Trixie yelled. Applejack approached the bickering group and looked to Rainbow Dash who was staring out into the forest. “Rainbow Dash… yah know something, what is it” Applejack asked curiously. Rainbow Dash never turned her attention away from the forest, “Something’s out there and it’s hunting us… I’m scarred AJ” Rainbow Dash informed her. “Bullshit… yah ain’t afraid a no-pony” Applejack told her and Rainbow Dash shifted her gaze to Applejack “Something’s out there and it killed Rarity and Pinkie, and now it wants us and whatever it was, it wasn’t no pony”. * * * The night had fallen and encased the world in darkness. The group had decided to take shifts, but no one could sleep, not with their nerves on edge like they were. Applejack sat in a tree and watched the moon shine brightly. “Yeah, remember that time me and you slept over at Twi’s place, crashed the whole place down and not a scratch on us, and me and you come out right on top” Applejack said to the moon, hoping her deceased friend could hear her from the afterlife. “Wherever you are you sonufa bitch you better not come back… or I’ll bleed you” Applejack threatened, obviously to the killer of Pinkie and Rarity. Suddenly a twig snapped not far from Applejack, she froze and flicked the safety off on her M60. There was rustling in the underbrush and Applejack crept up silently and held her M60 tight in her hooves. She gritted her teeth, hoping she could sneak up on the silent assassin, more rustling then suddenly the creature set off a flare. Applejack let out a roar, triggering her M60 and let off a continuous burst. The gunshots and flares alerted the rest of the team and they got up hastily and rushed towards the sound of Applejack’s gunfire. “APPLEJACK!” Twilight called out as they got closer, suddenly the gunfire stopped but Applejack’s yells could still be heard. The group raced up to Applejack’s yells and roars and watched as she drove a large combat knife into a creature with hatred and fury. Stabbing it multiple times and not stopping until she was out of breath. Twilight flashed a light on her, revealing that she was soaked in blood from the creature. “Jesus, you killed a fucking cat” Rainbow Dash chuckled as the flashlight’s beam revealed the creature to be a Manticore. “Fuck you RD… fuck you” Applejack gasped breathlessly. “Wait… where’s Zecora?” Fluttershy asked and Twilight looked to Trixie who had forgotten to take Zecora with them. “FUCK” Rainbow Dash swore as the group raced back to the campsite. “Why the fuck wasn’t any-pony watching her?” Rainbow Dash scolded and Trixie didn’t answer. The group raced up to Zecora who was huddling up against a tree fearfully as Trixie brought her MP5 up to her. “Why the fuck didn’t you run?” Trixie asked and Zecora simply pointed to Rarity’s body bag. “Dude she’s totally not gonna run, I mean look at her she’s frightened half to death” Rainbow Dash said but Fluttershy watched Zecora’s motion and checked on Rarity’s body. Twilight arrived with Applejack and joined in the argument. “We gotta move out. This is bullshit” Trixie argued but as she did, Fluttershy called to the group “Twi you’d better come see this”. Twilight and Rainbow Dash walked over to Fluttershy, to see what had her worried, other than the obvious fact that something was hunting them to death. Fluttershy pointed to the empty body bag. “What the hell” Rainbow Dash gasped and Zecora called out to them, “She collects the bodies” Zecora informed them. “We move out… double time” Twilight ordered. * * * They had reached the checkpoint and the sun had just begun to rise over the eastern horizon. “Goddess dammit” Rainbow Dash yelled as she hung up the radio piece. “What did they say?” Twilight asked and Rainbow Dash threw her hooves into the air in frustration. “HQ says that we’re still too hot for a pickup, we gotta move another 4 miles before they’ll even consider picking us up” Rainbow Dash said in a flustered voice. “Then what the hell are we waiting for?” Trixie said as she pulled Zecora to her hooves, “No” Twilight said bluntly. “Excuse me?” Trixie asked, “We stay and fight, set up traps along a path and wait for our hunter then trap it and kill it” Twilight replied. “No way, we move out and get to the chopper LZ and await pickup” Trixie argued. Twilight began to walk away but stopped and looked back to Trixie “Trix, we stand and fight, or there will be no-pony left to go to the chopper”. * * * “This is some grade-A colt-scout shit” Trixie said in an exhausted voice as she levitated a trap into place. Zecora was still bound in hoof cuffs but Twilight needed all the help she could get. “Zecora… I don’t know why you would have helped guerrilla forces but we need your help” Twilight said as she pulled out her combat knife and pointed the tip of the blade at Zecora’s chest. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” Trixie scoffed. “Will you help us?” Twilight asked and Zecora nodded, Twilight cut the wrist binds and Zecora was free. She stood there and gave Twilight a thankful nod. Twilight nodded back and began to leave to booby-trap another part of their perimeter. “There is something you should know” Zecora informed Twilight and she looked back to the duo. “When you all shot at it, you must have wounded it… its blood was on the leaves” Zecora informed Twilight. Twilight nodded and with a blunt expression quoted “If it bleeds, we can kill it” * * * The group finally settled down and hid in a makeshift trench they had made. “This is ridiculous” Trixie muttered, Twilight looked to her “that’s the only way in, we have traps set up 50 meters in front of us… nothing’s getting us without alerting us” Twilight whispered. The tension was high and could literally be felt. Rainbow Dash put a mouthful of chewing tobacco in her mouth and began to chew it. Trixie wiped some sweat from her forehead and gulped. Applejack sat calmly and wiped dirt and grit from her cow-pony hat. Fluttershy simply sat absolutely terrified yet doing her best not to show it, her expression showed fear but a fear that wouldn’t affect her combat effectiveness. Twilight looked to the trees and the group all thought they seen something move in the trees. The all raised their guns, with CLICKs signifying the safeties turning off. Tension ran through the roof with the group and suddenly a flock of birds burst from the trees. The group all sighed in symphony and Trixie’s head slumped down in relief. Twilight couldn’t stand the tension and got up and began to walk out to the perimeter. “Twi, what the hell are you doing?” Trixie called to her but Twilight continued forward, obviously trying to bait the creature into revealing its location. Her hoof was snagged by a tripwire that was attached to a grenade. She pulled her hoof back and stepped over the tripwire with a sigh of relief. She stood in the clear open for a minute but nothing happened. She turned to the group and shrugged, “TWI, BEHIND YAH” Applejack yelled out and Twilight spun around only to see a horrid creature approach her. The creature triggered a tripwire and was caught in a net and pulled upwards with a scream. //-------------------------------------------------------// Last of us //-------------------------------------------------------// Last of us “TWILIGHT” Applejack yelled as she triggered her M60, trying furiously to shoot the creature stuck in the net. Rainbow Dash stood up and began the spin cycle on her Gatling gun, the creature in the net shot out magical green blasts, striking a rope holding up a log swinging trap. The log swung down and the group all ducked, except for Rainbow Dash who was too slow due to the Gatling gun and the log cracked her right in the chest, flinging her back. “SHIT” Applejack cursed as she rolled, still firing her M60. The creature in the net used her jagged horn to cut herself free and flew towards a tree branch and landed peacefully. The creature looked to Applejack and its green cat like eyes flashed and it darted off. “Twi… RD’s ribs are broken” Fluttershy informed her. “I can make… I can make” Rainbow Dash groaned in pain and Fluttershy put her foreleg around her friend and began to help her walk. Twilight got on the other side of Rainbow Dash and did the same. “We’re leaving” Twilight called out but Applejack let out a roar of anguish and ran off into the forest after the creature. “AJ… AJ!” Twilight called but it was no use, her friend was already set on chasing the creature down. Zecora ran up to Twilight, “Zecora what’s the fastest way out of here?” Twilight asked and Zecora gave her a frightened look. “Zecora how do we get out?” Twilight asked and Zecora grabbed Twilight’s Desert Eagle from her shoulder holster, “There’s only one way to escape” Zecora quoted and shot herself in the head. “SHIT!” Twilight swore and levitated her handgun back into its holster. “Twi I’m going after her” Trixie said looking to where Applejack had run off. Twilight gave her a look, “It’s not your style Trix” she said sarcastically and Trixie rolled her eyes “yeah well I’ve been picking up some bad habits from you and your mares” Trixie said and as she was about to chase after Applejack, Twilight tossed her Rainbow Dash’s MP5. “Two’s always better than one” Twilight quoted and Trixie pointed to her “Just make sure the helicopter doesn’t leave without me” she ordered then chased after Applejack. Applejack was tromping through the forest loudly, “Ah’m gonna get me some, ohh yeah ah’m gonna get me some, gonna have me some fun…” she trailed off and the forest became quiet. Trixie ran towards where Applejack had been running and suddenly a hoof grabbed her by the mouth and pulled her under a log. “Shh” Applejack hushed Trixie and pointed to the distant tall trees. “Ah see you” Applejack said in a voice that was borderline insane. “Ah’m gonna crawl up underneath her, yah go around” Applejack whispered, “I got a bone to pick with that thing” Trixie muttered. Applejack chuckled “we all have bones tah pick with this thing”. Further through the forest Rainbow Dash was grunting in pain as Fluttershy and Twilight pulled her along. Rainbow Dash dropped her M1911a1, Fluttershy stopped to pick up her friends pistol but Twilight stopped her. “Leave it, it’s hunting us because we have guns, it never killed Zecora because she wasn’t armed… no sport” Twilight said. “Wait… if it’s hunting us because we’re armed then why are we still carrying these?” Fluttershy asked and Twilight looked at her M16 with the grenade launcher attachment. “Uhm because…” Twilight trailed off and they continued to move on, still carrying their weapons. Applejack crawled up underneath the tree that the creature was in, she crawled to her feet quietly and lined up her rear with the tree. She cocked her hindlegs back and gave the tree a mighty buck, and as she did the creature fell from the tree. However the force off her kick set off a swing trap set by the creature and a small thicket of spears swung and stabbed into Applejack, she gagged as the spears stabbed through her. Trixie continued on but she stopped as she saw Applejack get impaled by the trap. “Shit” Trixie muttered but suddenly she saw the creature fall from the the tree, “ARRRRR” Trixie roared as she brought her MP5 up and began to fire it with one hoof but a blast of energy from the creature’s horn blew off her foreleg at the elbow and her arm fell to the ground, nerves still twitching and triggering the MP5 after her foreleg had already fallen. The creature revealed itself to Trixie and its horn glowed a dark goo green and Trixie’s own horn began to glow. They fired a blast of energy at each other and the blasts collided mid-flight but the creature’s energy was stronger and it continued on and cut off Trixie’s horn. Trixie screamed in horrid pain and as the creature closed in for the kill Trixie attempted one last fate to kill the creature, bringing her remaining foreleg up and triggering her other MP5 that had been given to her by Twilight. The creature stabbed it’s horn through Trixie’s chest as Trixie fired off a final blast with the MP5, as the jagged horn stabbed through Trixie the creature lifted its head, lifting Trixie off the ground. Trixie screamed out in agonizing pain. Twilight and Fluttershy stopped on a log crossing, after giving a final nod for Trixie, Twilight continued on but Fluttershy stayed on the log. Twilight noticed this and stopped. “Fluttershy come on” Twilight called back but Fluttershy didn’t respond, simply tossing her M16 over the side of the log and into the water hundreds of feet below. Fluttershy pulled off her combat vest and tossed it into the water depths below along with her pistol. She pulled a massive machete out from a hip sheath. Twilight looked to her friend and a lone tear trickled down her cheek as she turned and continued on with Rainbow Dash moaning in pain. Fluttershy brought the machete up and breathed slowly, letting her fear engulf her. The black creature approached slowly on the other side of the log and Fluttershy gulped as she remembered the face. Twilight continued to carry the injured Rainbow Dash through the dense forest, towards the helicopter landing zone, hoping that they’d be waiting for them. A scream from Fluttershy could be heard and Twilight stopped and looked back to the scream’s echo. They began to continue on. Rainbow Dash continued to moan in pain from her broken ribs and Twilight grunted as her hindlegs began to become overly sore. “Come on RD… we can make it” Twilight said. Suddenly a green blast hit Twilight in the shoulder and knocked her back. Her ballistic vest had caught the impact but she was now venerable and Dash had fallen to the ground. Twilight rolled to the side as multiple other blasts erupted beside her body and swung her M16 towards the assailant who was hiding in the trees. Looking to RD she bellowed out “RUN… GET TO THE CHOPPA!”. Rainbow Dash grunted in pain and got to her hooves, the creature in the tree turned its attention to Rainbow Dash but Twilight began to fire a long burst at the creature and it turned back to Twilight. Leaping down from the tree it charged at Twilight and she began to back pedal. As the creature closed in for the kill, Twilight tripped on a log and slipped. Falling to her flank she began to slide down a steep incline. Twilight accidently dropped her M16 as she slid down the embankment. As she neared the edge of the embankment she realized that it led to the edge of a cliff and dropped off to the water, hundreds of feet below. “OHH SHIT” Twilight swore and her body slid off the edge of the cliff and she began to free fall through the air, she tried to levitate herself but was too exhausted from carrying Rainbow Dash to perform a levitation spell. She pencil dived and splashed through the water. Twilight swam exhaustedly over to the shore and laid down in the mud. Hatred ran through her body, whatever it was that had killed her friend was going to die. But at the moment she only needed to lie down for a while and get some rest. However her rest was interrupted when the creature splashed through the surface of the water not too far from her current location. Twilight rolled over, revealing her body to be covered in mud. She crawled backwards through the mud, completely covering her body in mud. She crawled up under deadfall and grabbed her Desert Eagle from its shoulder holster, her anger surfaced again. The creature stepped up from the water and revealed itself to be non-other than Queen Chrysalis. Chrysalis looked around for Twilight as she tried to spot her but couldn’t. Suddenly she caught a glimpse of something and her horn flared up and blasted a log, only revealing it to be a mouse. Chrysalis kicked the log and continued searching but soon gave up and flew away. Twilight looked to herself, “It can only see body heat” she muttered to herself, which makes no sense because her eyes weren’t covered in mud but back to the story. Twilight looked to the forest where Chrysalis had flown off to and gritted her teeth, she would kill her for murdering her friends. //-------------------------------------------------------// The fight //-------------------------------------------------------// The fight Twilight smeared herself in mud, covering head to hoof of her body to make sure that Chrysalis couldn’t see her when they fought. Her friends had all but been killed, well she didn’t know what had happened to RD but knowing that her ribs were broken gave her a grim chance of making it out alive but then again she still had her massive Gatling gun strapped to her body. Twilight checked the load on her Desert Eagle, she had 7 loaded rounds in the pistol and 2 spare magazines. She cocked the handgun’s slide back and holstered the pistol. She had once remembered Zecora talking about ancient times and bows and arrows along with spears. Twilight looked over to some oak trees and used her magic to break off a large branch on a tree. Using her combat knife she carved the beginning of a bow, after shaving off the bark she put the branch over her shoulders and bent the branch into a curve. Taking some trip wire cord she constructed the bow string, though it wasn’t as lenient as real bow string it would have to do. She constructed many arrows using tree branches, she pulled out the last 2 grenade launcher rounds she had and popped the explosive tip off the shell. Pouring the powder into a large leaf and tipping the leaf with the explosive tip she created 2 explosive tipped arrows. She created a spear for herself by tying her combat knife to her stick. She was ready. * * * Night had fallen and Twilight walked up to another log crossing, but this one passed over a forested area below the cliffs. Twilight let out a fearsome war cry that sounded more like a stallion’s war cry then a mare’s. Chrysalis heard the war cry and began to fly her way. Twilight snarled and levitated herself up into a tree. Chrysalis fluttered down onto the log crossing and examined the area, looking for her prey. Twilight slowly unslung her bow from her back and loaded a grenade tipped round into the bow sting. Slowly pulling the arrow back she aimed it at Chrysalis who was still scanning the area for Twilight. Twilight released her grip on the end of the arrow and it propelled through the air. As the tip collided with the log in front of Chrysalis, the explosive tip erupted and the powder inside the leaf erupted as well. Exploding violently and injuring Chrysalis severely, Chrysalis turned to the forest and scanned for the origin of the shot. Twilight grabbed a vine and swung through the forest and luckily Chrysalis didn’t see the movement. Twilight hastily brought out another explosive arrow round and propelled it downrange. The grenade arrow exploded in front of Chrysalis and once again she was wounded severely by the blast, but this time however she saw where the arrow had come from and shot a beam of energy at Twilight. The energy blast struck the tree branch Twilight was standing on and she fell to the ground below with a THUD. Chrysalis wasted no time in pursuing the fallen Twilight. Twilight knew that she only had a limited amount of time before Chrysalis found her, leaping up she unslung her knife spear and hurried away from the tree and deeper into the forest, Chrysalis spotted some branches moving from Twilight rushing through the forest and followed her trail. Twilight rushed out onto a log crossing but suddenly on the other end Chrysalis landed, but it was as if she hadn’t spotted Twilight just yet. Chrysalis turned to the log crossing, she had been sure that she saw something run this way but she couldn’t be sure. She walked across the log, her green blood dripping down onto the log, she would have to heal herself soon but to do that she’d have to go back to her nest and she wasn’t going to lose Twilight again. Below the log Twilight grasped the bottom of the log with intense force as Chrysalis paced across the top. Twilight waited for Chrysalis to pass then flipped herself up onto the log and threw her spear into Chrysalis’ back. Chrysalis screeched in pain and slouched over but then spun around and blasted the log with an energy blast. The blast cut the log in half and Twilight fell to the underbrush 20 feet below with a loud crash. Twilight gagged in pain as she got to her hooves, drawing out her Desert Eagle as she staggered through the forest in pain. Her hatred for Chrysalis began to wear off as her fear began to entice her. She slipped and fell into a puddle, groaning in pain she got up, part of her mud cover had been washed off. She got up and continued on but eventually collapsed from the exhaustion, she managed to crawl up to some underbrush and leaned her head back. Chrysalis soon appeared and began to search for Twilight, Twilight’s rage for the evil queen returned as she tried to level her pistol but couldn’t muster enough strength to do so. “Where are you my little pretty?” Chrysalis screeched but Twilight was easily visible now because her mud had been partially washed off. Twilight’s hatred continued to burn as she tried painfully to lift the handgun but again couldn’t. Chrysalis soon moved on in her search for Twilight but soon was out of Twilight’s sight. Twilight cast a pain numbing spell on herself so that she could push her body past its physical limits. She got up and looked to herself, he had been in plain view without her mud cover yet Chrysalis still couldn’t see her. Twilight moaned in bit of pain as she got to her hooves, though the pain killer effect numbed most of the pain, she could still feel a bit of pain. She began to follow the green blood trail left from Chrysalis. She soon found herself at the base of a cave, not thinking twice she entered. Inside the cave was a vast expanse of green cocoons much like she had found her brother in, but these ones were copulating and the insides glowed green. Insect like creatures with both horns and wings could be seen. They were horrid little creatures that made Twilight want to puke. Twilight finally realized it, Chrysalis captured ponies or animals and placed them in these cocoons to become… these things. Twilight didn’t have enough ammo for all of the things but like hell she would simply just walk away and let these things continue to grow. “The hive… isn’t it beautiful” said a voice from behind Twilight. Twilight spun around and brought her Desert Eagle up but was way too late, Chrysalis blasted her in the chest with a magical energy blast. Though her ballistic vest stopped the blast but Twilight was still propelled across the cave and crashed into a wall. Staggering to her feet she opened up the smoking ballistic vest and pulled out the indented plate of Kevlar. Chrysalis flew over but Twilight rolled out of the way as Chrysalis tried to impale her with her jagged horn. Twilight attempted to bring her Desert Eagle up but Chrysalis was much faster and within a second had tackled her to the ground. “So full of hate… it’s why I couldn’t spot you earlier, when an animal gives off love emotion I can sense it, we changelings feed off of love you see. So when you stopped loving and started to become filled with rage I couldn’t spot you… but now you are mine and shall make a fine addition to my hive” Chrysalis laughed. //-------------------------------------------------------// Dash returns //-------------------------------------------------------// Dash returns Chrysalis raised her horn up to get ready for the final strike but suddenly a tremendous BOOM filled the cavern and Chrysalis was torn off of Twilight’s body. Twilight gasped and looked to the entrance of the cave where Spike stood with a smoking S&W 500 magnum in his hands. He quickly rushed to Twilight’s side, “ohh man Twi are you okay?” Spike gasped and Twilight staggered up. Looking to Spike with a shocked look she asked “Spike! How’d you get here?”. “Oh well Rainbow Dash was rescued by a chopper but when she returned she told Celestia what happened and I just happened to be there so I volunteered to come and rescue you… now come on we have a chopper to get” he began to explain but suddenly his body was torn away from Twilight’s side as a blast of energy struck him. “SPIKE!” Twilight screamed and looked to Chrysalis who smiled insanely. Suddenly the cavern was filled with the noise of a whirring sound and second later Chrysalis was struck by a barrage of 7.62mm rounds. Chrysalis activated a shield spell to protect her body from further trauma and staggered out of the cave. Rainbow Dash rushed up and helped Twilight to her feet. “Rainbow Dash… what… how are you here?” Twilight asked and Rainbow Dash shrugged. “Takes more than a few busted ribs to keep me down” she replied and spat some chewing tobacco spit out of her mouth and leveled the massive Gatling gun at the cave exit that Chrysalis had used to escape. Spike rushed to their side, he hadn’t been injured severely and his arm only had a flesh wound. “Spike you destroy the hive, Twi… we got some unfinished business with Chrysalis” Rainbow Dash said with a nod and Twilight looked to Spike. “Spike… do you think you can handle the cave?” Twilight asked and Spike nodded and pulled out a bag filled with C4, “Yeah… Celestia said this would come in handy” Spike said and rushed off to begin planting the C4. Twilight and Rainbow Dash rushed out from the cave, following the green blood trail from Chrysalis. “I can’t believe you came back” Twilight said and Rainbow Dash shrugged “Yeah well… Celestia fixed my ribs before I left so I’m good now” Rainbow Dash informed Twilight. Chrysalis lept from on top of the cave entrance and tackled Twilight to the ground and the duo rolled down the hill, Rainbow Dash tried to get a fix on Chrysalis but she couldn’t risk hitting Twilight. Dash cursed to herself and chased after the duo. Twilight punched Chrysalis in the face and kicked her body off her own. Twilight used a teleportation spell to appear behind Chrysalis and slammed her knee into Chrysalis’ back as she flew backwards. Twilight’s knee stopped Chrysalis nearly instantly and Chrysalis groaned in pain. Twilight brought her elbow down aggressively into Chrysalis’ throat. Chrysalis gagged but managed to punch Twilight in the face and knock her back, Twilight staggered back but caught her footing and readied herself. Just as she finally got her footing Twilight reached for her Desert Eagle but Chrysalis flew through the air and kicked the pistol from Twilight’s hooves and the gun was knocked out of her grip. Chrysalis kicked Twilight in the stomach and she staggered back as Chrysalis kicked her in the face and knocked Twilight to the ground. Twilight rolled to the side as Chrysalis stabbed at her with her jagged horn. Twilight stood to her hooves and staggered backwards. Blood was running down her forehead from the kick to the head she had received and was partially dazed. Twilight looked intensely at Chrysalis and her upper lip lifted as she gave a disgusted look to Chrysalis. “You are one ugly mother fucker” Twilight quoted and Chrysalis charged at Twilight. Twilight lept to the side, and crawled along the ground frantically as Chrysalis chased her. Twilight ran down an embankment and her pain killing spell wore off. She collapsed to the ground and managed to crawl down into a slight crevice. Chrysalis appeared and began to climb down the crevice. Twilight had placed a swing trap that would activate as soon as Chrysalis stepped on a pressure rock that would set of the trap and a bunch of spears would come down and impale Chrysalis. “Come on… kill me… come on kill me I’m here kill me, come on” Twilight bellowed but Chrysalis gave her a suspicious look, she was asking for death yet just a second ago she was fighting violently. Chrysalis was about to step forward when she suddenly spotted the spear tips and examined them thoroughly. Realizing it was a trap, Chrysalis lept up and flew towards the other side of the crevice. Twilight looked to the queen as she closed in for the kill, “Oh shit” Twilight muttered but suddenly a thunderous buzzing sounded off and Chrysalis was ripped up by a volley of bullets. Chrysalis fell back over the other side of the crevice. Twilight managed to stagger out of the crevice to see her Pegasus friend with her smoking Gatling gun. Rainbow Dash turned her face to one side and spit out a glob of chewing tobacco, “looks like I saved the day” Rainbow Dash chuckled. The caverns where the hive was erupted as Spike set off the C4, Chrysalis got up and let out an ear piercing shriek. “MY HIVE” She shrieked and Rainbow Dash started the spin cycle on the Gatling but Chrysalis was too fast and maneuvered around past Rainbow Dash’s line of fire and struck her from the side. Twilight tackled Chrysalis to the ground but was easily over powered by the changeling queen and she kicked Twilight off her body. Twilight slammed into a tree and Chrysalis once again made for a killing impalement with her jagged horn. Suddenly a burst of bullets took Chrysalis by surprise and knocked her body off course. Chrysalis turned to Rainbow Dash and snarled as Dash sprayed her again with her Gatling gun. Chrysalis threw up a magical shield and stopped any further rounds from devastating her body further. “RD” Twilight called out and Rainbow Dash nodded and stopped firing the massive machinegun. Chrysalis gave Dash a curious look and didn’t see Twilight charge her from the side. Mustering all her remaining strength, Twilight plowed into Chrysalis’ side and drove her bowie knife into Chrysalis who screeched in pain and staggered back. Twilight gasped and using her last bit of energy blasted a rope by the tree and a counter weight fell from the tree and landed on Chrysalis. Breathing heavily Twilight walked over to Chrysalis who was coughing up green blood. Rainbow Dash soon joined them, “What the hell are you?” Twilight asked in a blunt voice. Chrysalis’ horn began to emit a bright light and she laughed “What the hell are…you?” Chrysalis asked back mockingly and began to let out a hysterical laugh. “Oh shit… run” Twilight ordered and Twilight and Rainbow Dash begun to run away from Chrysalis’ body. Suddenly crackles of electricity began emitting from Chrysalis’ body and energy began to become unstable and erupt into flares of fire. Rainbow Dash and Twilight rushed past Spike who was grabbed by Rainbow Dash and threw him onto her back as they continued to run. Chrysalis’ body erupted in a huge cataclysmic eruption and Twilight and Rainbow Dash lept over the side of fallen tree and took cover, which somehow shielded their bodies while the eruption destroyed the entire landscape around them. A helicopter in the distance began to shake and Celestia looked to the pilot, “Keep it steady” she ordered and the pilot tried to even out the aircraft as they flew closer. The entire landscape had been devastated and it was unlikely anything was alive. “Sweet Jesus” Celestia muttered as the helicopter got closer to the devastated landscape. “There” Celestia said and pointed to a group of three figures. Twilight had a blunt expression on her soot covered face. Rainbow Dash had a slight smile “We did it… I can’t believe it but we fucking did it” Rainbow Dash whispered as the helicopter landed. Spike hopped in the helicopter and helped Rainbow Dash inside and looked to Twilight. “Hey Twi… come on” Spike called out and Twilight gave one final look to her old friends final resting place then boarded the chopper and sat down. She leaned her head back and let out a sigh, Celestia looked back to Twilight and gave her a solemn nod but Twilight simply sat with an expressionless face as she watched the beautiful forest below the chopper and remembered all the fun times she had had with her friends. The chopper departed out towards the horizon, towards Canterlot, as the sun rises for the morning.
