Hank's vision was all blurred, all he saw a light and several shadows towering over him. This is it, he had been caught by them. This new start had already been finished for good.

" Look what you did, you almost blinded the poor guy !" Said a familiar voice.

" Hey, it wasn't me who turned on the light so fast that he almost had a seizure!" Said a strong but familiar voice.

" Can you boys give some space to him ? He is coming to his senses" Said a female familiar voice as a shadow got closer to his face. " Hank, are you ok ? Can you hear me ? "

Hank simply didn't knew what was going on. " Leave me...alone" Said him in a weak tune. " I won't...come back."

" What is he talking about ?" Asked an unfamiliar voice.

" No idea. Hey ! Maybe that baton thing that he used on me will work on him !" Said one of the shadows. " I will just grab his bags an-"

At the exact moment that Zeek grabbed Hank's bags. the unicorn came to his senses and quickly grabbed Zeek's hove. " Nopony...touch...my...STUFF !" Said him in a very angry and threatening tone, with a very wild face.

" Arh ! Hank ! You are ok ! Look, It wasn't me. I just turned on the lights. It was to Hammer take the picture AFTER I turned the lights !" Explained Zeek, almost like ignoring Hank's threat.

Hank's vision was clear now, beyond Zeek, he turned his head and saw a enormous group of ponies in his house. Some on the floor, some pegasus flying, some on the stairs. It was like the whole city was there. " Wh...wh...what is this ?!" Asked Hank, shocked to see so much ponies in one place, his OWN house !

" Its your Welcome Party, Hank, we invited the whole town," Said Rose, walking closer to him. " Sorry for the scare but you are ok, right ? " She had her same friendly smile but with a touch of worry.

Hank's eyes turned to Zeek, who was still trying to get his hove free. " Sorry..." Hank opened his hove and allowed Zeek go. " I just don't like ponies to get my stuff with my authorization." Said him in a restrict face, as he remembered his escape. " I just thought...." Said Hank as he turned to the door. There was nothing outside...was it all that feeling of being chased not real ? Hank remained in silence, confusing everypony.

" Hank ? You're alright ?" Asked Zeek, with a worry voice and face. " You just thought what ?" Even with that, Hank stood staring to the emptiness of outside, almost expecting something to pop in from the door. " Haaaaank ?".

" Hank! " Said Rose as she poked his head, trying to get attention. "There is something wrong ?" Everypony was staring silently at Hank.

In a quickly snap, Hank came back to reality as he shaken his head left and right. " OH ! ...aww...it was nothing," Said Hank as he turned to Rose, Zeek and the rest of the crown. " I just thought I saw something outside, just...that." Concluded him as he closed the door slowly with his magic.

Hank just hated the fact that Zeek and Rose made this party, he hated even more that the whole city was there, he hated even more the fact that they did that to make "friends". In fact, there wasn't one thing that Hank enjoyed in that all. But what could he do beyond just lock himself in his room, ignore the sounds and made up that they didn't existed ? The only good thing of being locked away, was that he had time to set his room up.

" Hummmm" Hank looked at the room, it was big, had woody walls, a bed and a window at the end of the room. " I liked the space, gives me freedom to make my mini-lab here " Said Hank with the intention of build a mini-lab in his room and the main lab would be downstairs, in other room. " Just need to a little help from science" Said Hank, with a grin on his face as he took a few tools, a few of laser, out of his bag.

" Hey, Hank ! " Called Zeek, knocking at his door. " You gonna miss the party. Everypone wants to meet you! Hank ?" Zeek started to knock in a musical way. " Hank, Hank, Haaaank ! Hank, ank, ank, aaaank ! Hahahhah ! Wasn't that funny ?" Asked Zeek at the door, expecting answers.

" Go away, I'm busy !" Yelled Hank at the door, while working hard on changing his room to a high-tech one.

" Come on, Hank ! Rose said that she wanted to dance with ya ! She finds you cute."

" That is a lie and I can tell ! " Said Hank angry now. How insulting would Zeek get ? He could tell if a person was lying or not, it was....one of his abilities.

" Alright, I guess I mistaken the "cute" with "interesting" but still, its good ! You shouldn't waste this chance of making friends! " Exclaimed Zeek to the door, getting worried by Hank's sake.

Now Hank was done with all that bullshit, taking his protection helmet off, he turns to the door and yells.

" ALL PONIES HERE ARE CRAZY !! YOU ARE CRAZY, ROSE IS CRAZY !  NOTHING ON THIS CITY MAKES SENSE ! I FEEL ALL MY KNOWLEDGE BEING SUCKED AWAY WITH YOUR PRESENCE ! I CAME HERE FOR PEACE ! AND THAT IS THE LAST THING I'M GETTING HERE ! WHY DON'T YOU JUST LEAVE ME ALONE ?!" Hank had to stop for lack of air.

There was no dialogue after that, Hank was expecting Zeek to reply with some silly answer but nothing came. The only thing making noise was the heavy party outside his room but no dialogue back.

" Zeek ?..." Asked Hank, feeling that he shouldn't had done that. " You ok ? Look, I'm just stressed...So much happened to me and..." Confessed Hank, feeling better in taking that all out. " And...I think I'm in danger. I think you all are in danger. " Now Hank was looking seriously at the door, expecting Zeek to reply. " I'm running away from...bad things. Things that will put this city in grave danger...I feel guilty but what I can do ? I'm more than you think I'm !" Declared Hank. " I'm......look, I'm sorry that I was mean to you since I got here. All I want is to stay in peace, I find that in being alone, like a bee away from the hive..." Hank sighed. " Do you understand now, Zeek ?......Look ! I know It was bad but ignoring me like that is just childish !....ZEEK !? " Hank opened the door with an angry face. " ARE YOU HEARING ME, IDIOT ?!" Yelled Hank to the air as there was no Zeek. Hank's face turns from angry to timid as everpony looked at him. " Awww..."

" Hehehe, there's the high roller !" Said one blue earth-pony in the crown as the others started talk as well. Mentioning good things about Hank and all.

" Look, I'm sorry, I ju-" Hank was soon cut by Rose, going out of the crowd, in Hank's direction. Only now he noticed that she was wearing her loyal rings and crown. " Huh ?"

Her smile was sweet as she turned to everpony. " Today, we celebrate in the name of our new resident ! His name is Hank ! " Everypony cheered as she continued. " And he is special, because this one is a genius ! " Hank's cheek got red after hearing that, he never...saw somepony doing that to him. " He have all the mechanic and science knowledge that anypony could possible wish "

" Hehehe, look, you are making me stay out of words. " Said Hank, looking away, in shyness.

" I said that he was shy !" declared Zeek somewhere in the crowd.

" Yeah but that is the mark of a great mind, and we shall expect a lot from him. Isn't that true, Hank ? " Asked her, turning her sweet blue eyes to Hank.

" Aww...." Hank was looking now at everypony....all those faces, so happy, so delicious..." Ye...yes..." Nodded Hank " You all shall expect great things from...me and my coming. An...aww...party ?" When he finished his sentence, all the ponies went nuts and started partying again. Hank turned his face away in result of that. " Ignorant creatures..." Said Hank in a very low voice.

" What you said ?" Asked Rose, at his side, with a confused face.

" Huh ? oh ! Nothing...I mean, "great creatures". That is what I said. " Explained Hank with a fake smile.

" Oh, right...I thought that you called us"ignorant creatures", but of course, that would been very odd from you." Somehow, Hank could tell that she knew what he said and was just "hiding" the fact for some reason. He had forgot that she was from loyalty and their were pretty powerful, even in hearing.

"  I guess I will come back at my room now..." Said Hank as he turned to his room and gave a few steps to it's direction.

" Wait ! " Said Rose, now with a worried face. " Look...I can sense your feelings, they are not good. I can help by cleaning your mind- " She was going to put her hoof at his shoulder but he quickly pushed it away.

" Don't touch me ! I don't need your help ! " Said him in his offensive tone. Turning to her. " I never needed ! Now I would be very happy if you just turn around and leave !".

Rose's face was now sad, her blue eyes seemed to stare the ground. " Alright then...just wanted to help you, Hank..." Said her as she turned around. " see you..." Concluded her as she left him into the crowd.

Hank just cursed himself as saw how horrible he was with her. " Stupid, stupid !" Said him to himself as he closed the door. " I wasn't made to be enjoyed ! I'm a hated being ! I will always be ! " Yelled Hank to himself as he came back to work, with a tear failing from his eye.

A few hours later, Hank noticed that all the noises stopped and he heard the front door closing. He started to wonder if everypony was gone. " That early ?" Asked Hank to himself as he looked at the digital clock at his wall. "Oh man, 2:02 AM, time flied when you work for science". It was late, but Hank didn't felt tired. In fact, he was very satisfied. But still, he wanted to see it how the house was. Curious about that, he slowly opened his door. " Huh ? "

The house was now empty, the place was clean and all  the mobile were at the place. Hank was expecting the house to be a mess but the ponies actually "fixed" everything before leaving...that actually meant something for Hank.

" At least they are not party monsters, not the irresponsible kind. " Said Hank as now he could finally walk freely in his new house. Yes, its been a long trip full of weirdness but finally, it was over. " Home, sweet, home ! Just me..." Hank tapped the wood wall with a satisfied smile. " And you..."

After walking around his house, Hank decided to start to build his main lab at the reading room. The reading room was a big rectangular room with a long table at the long wall. There was a couch at side of the entrance, good for relaxing, and a  small table at side of it. " A spot for reading, perhaps ? " Asked Hank to himself as he could see him sitting there, reading a book, smoking his pipe with a hot delicious chocolate on his hoof.. At both small sides of the rectangular, there was a window and at the other, a fireplace. His house was pretty beautiful, and Hank knew that with a smile on his face.

" Humm, let's start by placing the module here, " Said Hank as he placed a small gray metal device on the long table." And the chemical fusion can stay th-" before he could kept talking, he felt watched.  Like someone was behind him. Hank's mind began to fill with possibilities, one of the party ponies ? Maybe, but odd in the fact of no warning. His stalker ? Highly probably, since now he was alone and the city was asleep.

Hank couldn't see it, but he knew that, whoever was, it was coming.  He had to act, now ! " Stay...away...from ME !! " Yelled Hank as he turned around with his dart gun and shoot at the neck of the creature. The darts held a dangerous poison, that would paralyze any creature in it's reach, another of Hank's "toys".

" ARGH ! What the...?! What was that for ?! " It wasn't the stalker, it wasn't a pony...it was a dragon. Not a baby one, but not an adult one. It was a teenage dragon as his size was a little taller than Hank's. His scales were slightly dark blue with yellow line on his back and tail. He seemed very pissed off, by the simple fact that Hank just shot him with a dart. " Man, how it hurts !" Yelled him as he took it off.

Hank didn 't knew if that dragon was a threat, hell, why would a dragon be at his house ? It should be gone with the crowd ! That smelled very bad to Hank. " Shhh...relax and enjoy the trip that the poison of frogs can produce in your nervous system !" Said Hank as the dragon fell down, completely out. Hank sighed as he knew that an interrogation was at hand. " Great, where will I do the interrogation !?" Asked Hank as he suddenly glared at the couch. " Idea...!".

" Argh....my head..." Asked the dragon as he was slowly coming to his senses. " Whe....huh ?" He noticed that his legs, arms and wings were tied up to the couch in some sort of laser chains. No matter how hard he pushed, it didn't broke. After ten tries, he finally gave up.

" I see that you are awaken, Mister Oversized Lizard !" Asked Hank as he came into the dragon's sight, holding a small brick-sized black device, with a small antenna at the end of it.

" HEY ! WHY YOU KNOCKED ME OUT WITH A DART ?!...I do admit that the dream that I just had with that poison on was good but...really, waking up chained is not the best way to come back to reality ! "Yelled the dragon as he tried to break the chains again.

" Hummm, because I think that you might be a spy." Hank walked at him, and got inches from his scaled face. " Are you a SPY ?!"

" Aww...no, I'm not spy, My name is Scaler ! " Said Scaler in a serious and sarcastic tone.

" One way to prove it ! " Said Hank as he placed the device at Scaler's neck. " Tell me facts !" Ordered Hank in a angrily but over-the-top way.

" My name is Scaler." The device's screen shinned green as it was a lie detector.

" Be more original !"

" Alright ! Ok....I was born in the Everfree florest...in a rainy night of winter. " Scaler sighed sadly as he kept going. "Never met my parents. A couple of ponies adopted me, I grown up at the city. Now I live by my own, but I still visit my parents. I work here as a librarian an-"

" Stop stop stop !" Said Hank, confused as hell. " What you said ? You work here ? " Hank asked while looking at the screen, showing a green sight. " That is not possible !" He was now shocked.

" I work here as a librarian at the books section that you didn't checked, you should do it. I'm too gentle for a dragon but I don't get abused for pure mix of fear and respect from the ones close of me." Scaler's face turned to a smile, a grin. " The real invader is you. You probably had read some old sight at some old announcement and been fooled. So, unless you want to hurt your in-mate, I suggest you to free me so we can know each another better ! " Scaler finished with a victorious smile.

Hank couldn't believe, was he really fooled ?! " That is not true ! That is n-" the screen turns green, ending any last stand. " true....I WAS FOOLED ! " Yelled Hank as he made a very angry face. Almost jumping in the air in rage. It was so good to be truth ! " WHY THEY MADE THIS PARTY THEN ?! WHY NOPONY TOLD ME !?"

" Because they thought you knew it ! And the party was because of your coming. Look, I knew you were coming, well, sort of. I was introduced to you at the party, pretty unsocial unicorn aren't ya ? " Said Scaler with a disapprove face. " And I come to see hello and you knock me off ! " Scaler didn't knew, but Hank was destroyed inside.

"....But..." Hank started to think to where he could go now. Live at the streets ? What would happen to Liko without him ? It was fair but...not fair at the same time. Hank knew what needed to be done. " Sorry..." Said Hank as he went to the table and grabbed a laser pistol.

" Hey ! HEY ! NO !" Scaler tried to get off in panic as Hank aimed at him. " NO!!!!" Yelled Scaler, closing his eyes and getting ready as the energy blast flew out of the gun.

With the same laser sound repeated 5 times, Scaler felt his limbs free again. He moved his arm as he slowly opened his eyes. His heart was beating very fast as he realized what Hank had done. " Wh...why ?"

" Because you won, I'm the invader...I will get my things and leave. Sorry for the disturbance. " Said Hank, looking down and trying to hide his heavy sadness. " Sorry again. " Hank started to walk to the stairs when Scaler landed at his front.

" Wait wait wait wait ! " Said Scaler while looking at Hank's face. " Who said that we can't...you know...share the house ?  Its big, we can stay peacefully. " Scaler wasn't going to allow Hank to leave to the "cruel" world outside. It was not his nature to just ignore.

Hank thought in the proposal,it was surely good. The house would still be his, he would just need to handle Scaler, which shouldn't be really hard, at least for him.  But he started to think in the bad side, even if there was almost no bad side.

" I...I don't know."

" Come on, man ! I always wanted a company here. You know, a lot of ponies come but they always leave. We could share ideas and more ! We could be friends !"

That word flew around Hank's mind like a bird he was trying to catch. Everywhere he went, somepony or dragon wanted to be his friend. With the exception of Liko, he wasn't really interested in anypony ! " Look, I..." Hank kept silence, still in doubt.

Scaler giggled. " I will see that as a yes. Well..." He yawned, showing all his sharp teeth. " I will go to bed, it was one hell of a hard-core party...Sleep well, partner !" Said Scaler as he went upstairs..

Now there was no turning back, it was "yes" and Hank would have to deal with it. He tried to take the bad possibilities away as he turned to Scaler. " Scaler !"

Scaler turned at Hank, looking  downstairs with his smile. " Yes, Hank ?"

"......Thank you. " Said Hank in a legit meaning of that phrase. He was glad to finally founded a home, even with an evolved lizard in it.

" Nah, don't thank me. Welcome to the neighbor !" Said Scaler in an calm tone. " Well, good night Hank.I hope we can share a lot tomorrow. "

The word "tomorrow" echoed in his ears as he thought in the future. " Alright, be ok..." Hank started to go upstairs as Scaler entered in his room in the same corridor. " Tomorrow..." Would he be ok ? " Tomorrow" Hank wanted peace, Green Way didn't really gave that to him but he still had hope that it would come. " Tomorrow. " Said Hank one more time as he entered in his room, closed the door. He looked at Cassandra, still on his arm.

" Cassandra ?"

"Yes, master ?"

"....Good night."

" Good night, master, want me to read you a bedtime story ? "

" Nah..." Said Hank as he covered himself with the blanket on the bed. " That is all."

" Yes, Master." Said her one last time before shutting off for the night.

As he turned off the lights, he started to wonder how things went since that day started...met new ponies, helped a pony to have a place to stay, survived at parties, kept his secrets down and was still alive. One moment still bothered Hank, it was the chase part, now without the party and all and with the moonlight illuminating his bed in the darkness, he could think it better about it. Was it all a dream ? Or...they were there ? Somehow, Hank knew that in the next days, he would have the answer. It was the start a new phase in his life, he just wished that it didn't ended bad.

Hank stared at the dark sky, full of stars, as the moon had a reflex in his eye. " I know you there..." Said Hank as he slowly closed his eyes and made himself go to sleep.

" We will never stop..." Echoed a tricky voice outside the window as two big eyes shinned in the dark of the night. "Hahahahahaha..."
