Chapter 1
"Now you come back sir." Flare said as Nimble stumbled away from the bar. He was reaching for another glass when Somber came galloping to the bar. "Hey buddy what’s with the rush?" Flare said. Somber rushed up to the bar and slammed a piece of paper down on the counter. Flare looked at it and said "what's this?" "Read it" Somber panted. Flare spread the paper out and nearly dropped the glass he was holding. It read "if you ever want to see your precious show mares again you will go to Fillydelphia and meet a mare by the name of Ally and give her $10,000. Failure to do so in the next 3 months will result in their unfortunate termination. Sincerely, Buck Nasty." The two just stood there unable to think of anything to say. By now all the ponies in the club were looking at the two because when Somber slammed the paper down you could hear it outside. Even the DJ had stopped. Then Somber broke the silence and said "I think we should close early today. Decide what to do." Flare nodded his head in agreement. Then Somber said in a low whisper that was barley audible "just like old times huh Buck."

“Hey Ally!” Buck yelled. “Could you come over here for a moment?” Ally stood up from her game of black jack with Silver Streak “I’ll be right back.” She said. “Yes Buck what you want?” She trotted over to were Buck was looking. “Have you ever seen such beautiful mares before?” Buck said. Ally cocked her head to the side and studied both mares. “No Buck I can’t say I have.” Buck looks over at Ally. “You did well when capturing these two fine mares.” Ally smiled and shakes her head. “Thank you but it was your plan I just executed it.” Buck looks back at Silver Streak “I think you should get back to your game before he looks at your cards.” Ally quickly looks back at game. “Your right I never trust anypony with cards.” Buck looks back at the two mares. “I can see why you two are a crow favorite.” Brushes Dizzy Diskz mane.

“We can’t let them hurt those two!” shouted Somber. “But we don’t have the money to pay them off.” said Flare. “Even if we saved every bit we make it would take us almost 2 months and then we wouldn’t be able to pay for the train tickets to Fillydelphia.” Somber just paced back and forth thinking of a way to get them without need for conflict. “Well what are we ganna do?” asked Flare. “I have one idea. We will write back asking if we can have more time.” Somber says. Flare looks back and says “Well that as good of a thing I can think of. Let’s do it.”
The next day they meet up at the club and send the letter asking for more time. “All we can do now is wait.” Somber said. “But what if we are just wasting time and they don’t give us more time?” Flare said. “Well then we’ll think of something else if that happens.” Somber said. “I just hope it doesn’t come down to that.”
Chapter 2
Somber woke up to a rainy, windy, cold day. He quickly ran out side to check his mail. It had been 4 days since he and Flare sent the letter to Buck. He opened his mailbox and the first letter he saw was from Fillydelphia. Somber stood their unmoving. The rain was poring down but he didn’t care. All he wanted to do was read the letter and get to Flare as soon as possible. Somber Rushed back inside with the letter and tore it open. “Well isn’t this interesting.” said Somber as he ran out the door to Flares house.
“What do you mean we have to meet with one of his henchmen?” Flare shouted. “For all we know he could just be trying to capture us and take over the entire business.” Somber read over the letter again just to make sure he understood everything. “I don’t see any other way. We have to meet this stallion by the name Chiba.” Somber trotted over to the door “And if he is working for Buck he probably isn’t coming alone.” he said as he went outside. Flare just stood there trying to think of something he could do or say when they met the negotiator. “Well I guess ill make it up as I go along.” he said.
“Hey Chiba!” Buck shouted. “What you want?” Chiba said sticking his head out from under the covers. “I just woke up.” “I need you to do something for me.” “What is that?” “I need you to go meet with Somber and Flare at the entrance of Everfree Forest.” “Wait. You want me to talk to the two that we stole the mares from. By myself?” Chiba said in a worried tone. “No no no. you’ll have two of our henchmen with you.” Buck replied. “Besides I don’t think they will try anything. But if they try anything use this.” Buck tosses an old revolver to Chiba. “This should put those two in line if they step try anything.” Chiba just stood their looking at the revolver. “Boss I don’t think..” Buck gave him a look that would stop a train in its tracks and he shut up. "you will do as i say or this will be aiming right at your head instead you hear me boy?" Buck said turn the barrel towards Chiba and Chiba nodded quickly taking the revolver and trotting out of the building.

“So where do you think he is?” asked Flare. “It’s the same day same time same place as in the letter.” Somber walked out of the forest and looked around then returned to Flare. “You spoke to soon.” “Hello Somber.” Chiba said. “Good afternoon Chiba. I assume you’re the one Buck sent to work out a plan.” Chiba looked at Flare suspiciously. “Yes I am. The bosses number 1 guy to go to if he needs anything done.” “I see you have some company.” Somber stated plainly. “What did you expect a fire fight?” Chiba looked at Somber and smiled slightly. “I didn’t know what to expect.” Flare who was getting bored of idle chat spoke up. “So when are we gana start talking about something that matters?” “No problem” Chiba said almost too calmly.
“So why cant you just give us more time?” asked Somber. “Because if I give you more time that would give you more time to get the guards and come after Buck.” “But there is no way we could possibly get the that amount of money in the time frame you gave us.” Somber yelled. “Well that’s not my problem.” Chiba stated calmly. “What does Buck want with the money anyways?” asked Flare. Chiba look down “that I can not answer for I was never told why. I was only told to help guard him if you guys or anypony tries to get the girls back without paying the money.” Somber not being able to take any more of this lunged at Chiba. Chiba jumped out of the way and pulled out his revolver and pointed it at Somber. “What the hell is that doing here?!” shouted Flare. Chiba just laughs “I brought this along just incase either of you tried anything.” Somber stayed there not moving “well I see it was clever of you to bring it.” Chiba nodded "now get up im not gana shoot unless you do anything stupid"
THE INTRO TO OLD CONFLICT
Somber works at the Everfree Central. It's located in the center of Everfree Forest. He loves his job managing the club. He used to work at a food court were he was under appreciated and taken for granted. But then he got fired for yelling at a costumer who wouldn't give him a tip. That's when Somber started the dance club. He gets to see all the cutest mares in Equestria and some from the land of the zebras. Somber runs the place with the bartender Flare Runner. He is such a character. But recently strange things have happened. Some of the mares have gone missing. They haven't thought much about it since the mares don’t have to come all the time. They can come in when ever they want. But the stars of the club Rose Heart and Sweet Tooth haven't been in for 1 month. They have been working with the two for the past 2 years and have only missed about 2 weeks each due to family matters and sickness. But even then they let them know they would be gone. Somber told the local guards and didn't do anything else about it. That was before he got a frightening letter from Fillydelphia.

“Buck look out!” bombs explode around. “aaaaaahhhhh!” “Buck! no!” guns fires and more bombs go off. “I gata get out of here. Theirs nothing I can do to help him now!” “Somber".. he coughs. "wait don’t go.” more gun fire and artillery wistles

“We gata live one over here!” “Whats your name son?” “M m my name?” “yes your name.” “Uh my my name is Buck... Buck Nasty". “Well Buck Lets get you out of here.”
