Dash was waiting for the train to Canterlot. The weather outside was terrible. It wasn't raining but wasn't a tropical paradise either. The sky was a blueish grey-ish color and the wind was a pain in the ass.
Dash looked to the sky one last time before she entered inside the train. She was heading to Canterlot for a family meeting. Her uncle who looked after her often since her parents were always too busy to take care of her instead, was a rich man and as he was close to dying he decided to have one last family meeting.
Dash wore a pink ruffled skirt a white tank top and a navi blue cape tied with a red ribbon, while for her feet she decided that her old trusty light brown boots were matching the outfit slightly. Since she had no time for going to Rarity for a coiffure (neither explain her sudden outfit change) so a pair of pigtails could do.
The truth is that Dash never told her friends about her actual status since everything bound to royalty was nothing more than a "bullcrap and waste of time" as she used to say (not mentioning Rarity's fangirling over Canterlot people)
She decided to travel alone and not wait for her brother Sherlock. That pony was always giving her a hard time. Their mother who was a well known future teller decided to choose the name after the celebrity of history. Not like the pegasus wasn't a good detective. His observation was a very good one which was the reason why Dash couldn't stand him! Every time they were togheter he would often angry her by telling her the most stupid but true facts. One time he made a bad remark on her sexual life which made her slap him. It wasn't because he said something about her exaustment after a night of love, which wasn't the reason. It was because he made a remark of how she should try having a one night aventure. That was something that irked her. Her life was hers and only hers. No one, even her family should mix in it, especially her older brother... Speaking of the devil!
"Hello my dear sister!" he said with a well taught accent.
"Shit! The asshole found me! Did you asked someone my location?" the girl said
"Actually! I deducted your location by the fact that your shoes are muddy and wet from walking on dirt paths. By taking a closer look at the shoe size and model I could only deduct that you walked in this compartment! Besides the smell of cigarettes and the fact that you dropped your backpack closer to the door than it should be deducted that a person who had an uncaring comportment such as yourself was sitting here. And by judging the color of the backpack I could only think of you! But something irks me... why are you always so upset in seeing me?" the detective said a bit sad.
"Uh.... I don't like this shitty stuff! Besides you always end up talking about how I should try and get a boyfriend! Stop being a pain in the ass Sherlock!" Dash said taking her backpack and throwing it in the other side of the room.
After their short discussion followed a long silence. Dash turned her eyesight away from the book she was reading and started gazing on the window! The peisaje was rather sad. It was a very nad day and the sun wasn't showing at all. In Ponyville there wasn't any snow even tough it was the middle f winter. She heard that in Canterlot the snow was up to the knee. Her thoughts were interrupted by her brother.
"The Rainbow keeper? I didn't knew you liked romantic stories such as this!" he remarked calmly
"You read it?" she asked surprised.
"Of course silly! I rather enjoyed it! Even tough some of the scenes are rather pornografhic and a bit too detailed even for someone as myself! But it's a good story!" he said blushing a little from remembering the "scenes" he was talking about. Dash laughed a little.
" Yes this book does contain too much erotic content! I actually read it for the romance part. It is nice that it's not one of those stories where the prince marries the princess and such! I never liked those adorkable thigs!" Dash said taking another look at the book.
"Have you finished that drawing with the angel? I mush say it was rather enjoying seeing the sketch! I'd like to see the finished result if you finished it!" he said rather excited. Dash looked at him and smiled a bit. She opened her backpack and took a sketchbook out of it. She gave it to her brother who looked through the pages examining every detail. In the end he found what he was looking for. A drawing of a beautiful girl with angel wings sitting and watching forward. "You improved a lot sister! It's very enjoying to see your drawings! Have you thought about making a living out of this?" he said as he extended his arm to her holding the sketchbook.
Dash chuckled and took it! She never thought about this before! She cold try at least... no her dream of becoming a Wonderbolt was much bigger. But she shold have a plan B in case something went wrong! She started gazing on the window again wondering what will happen after they arrive at the mansion. She suddenly got sleepy. After all her efforts of staying awake she gave up and fell asleep. She was dreaming now. She found herself in a beautiful castle... she was wearing the same clothes as the ones she was currently wearing. She started wondering at random and found herself in a ballroom. The scene ahead of her was a rather grotesque one. Men and women killing and devouring each other leaving blood behind. She advanced careless of the scene. It was none of her business so she wasn't gonna get involved. She climbed the stairs and reached a hallway which seemed endless. She continued walking regardless of the fact that all kind of corpses were dragging in her direction trying to grab her skirt or leg. One was in front of her. She stomped on it and after crushing his fragile skull she advanced. In the end she reached a room. In the room there was a table, two chairs and... a boy. A boy who was dressed as a gentleman. He sat in a chair waiting for her to sit down. Dash sat in the chair and waited for the food to be brought!
The boy was wearing a smile on his face and as he poured wine in his and her glass he constantly looked at her. His eyes were covered constantly but she could feel him checking her. Measuring her. Trying to make a move. When she asked what he wanted he only said "You'll see my love! Soon enough!" and smiled before everything started disappearing in a sea of black.
Dash woke up breathing heavy. She put her hand on her heart as she started calming. It wasn't the first time she had this kind of drams. She started having these dream a while now, but it ended in a different way! Actually the dream always ended after he spoke to her. So she learned what to do and what to ask. That's why she avoided sleeping so much! Passing through all that was really upsetting. But she got used to it somehow. The first time she dreamt this way she got lost, tried avoidind the people and ran terified by the corpses, and after getting to the door she was surprised seeing the boy. She asked many questions but got no answear. In the end she woke up and tried forgetting. ut then it came the next night and the night after the next one and the dreams became more frequent. Actually she started thinking of a good question to ask him. This would generally take all day but now she wanted to know why that boy called her love.
The train arrived to the station and as Dash and Sherlock got out of it a limousine was waiting them. The siblings exchanged glares and in the end they knew what each wanted to say! It's gonna be a long day!

So in this chapter you see how Dash is tulbured by dreams and of course the family meeting is not gonna help. This was made out of pure boredom too! And yes it is humaized!
