She didn't know what it was, but she was drawn to it, but not only because of how awesome the design was. "I don't know, Rainbow. These books don't usually lie about stuff like that..." she sighed, knowing it was no use arguing with Rainbow Dash, especially if she had her mind set on something, "can you at least try to be careful?" Rainbow nodded in response, then proceeding to fly out the door speedily. She was feeling confidence, not a good thing considering she decided to be cocky and close her eyes...not even noticing the tree that she was about to hit. SMACK! She hit the tree with incredible force, knocking the mare unconscious and on the ground. A small drop of blood managed to make its way into the mouth of the belt buckle, which then began glowing blue as red gas flowed out from it's mouth and its eyes began glowing red. All of a sudden, A giant metal beast came right out of the ground. It shared the same facial features as the belt buckle. It also had sort of a motor design on it's back with a bunch of engine pipes sticking out. It also had a sort of fiery look with rivers of lava coursing all over it.The creature looked to Rainbow Dash and then cleared the tree that she had just knocked into. It then commenced to set her on the stump that used to be said tree. It then roared into the forest and disappeared. Rainbow Dash could no longer be seen on the stump and the only sign that anything had happened there was the debris of a fallen tree. Chapter 2: The Awakening When Rainbow woke up, she noticed that she was perfectly fine, despite the damage she took from the tree. She was still wearing the belt buckle around her neck, but it had changed from a simple string tied to it, to a couple chains that wrapped themselves comfortably around her neck. "Awesome!" she then looked around at her surroundings. She was in some sort of temple, but the walls looked as though they collapsed about three months prior. She used this as an advantage and flew out, noticing that the temple was on some sort of skeleton pile. Any normal pony would have been horrified by this sight, but not Rainbow Dash. She thought it was pretty cool. she then flew off to explore this new world. As she was flying, she noticed something moving on the ground. It was too fast to be a pony, and certainly to large. It appeared to be black and have some sort of flame design on it. Looking at it more, she then saw a strange creature sitting inside it. She flew a bit closer to investigate. It had two arms with hands on the end of them, both of which were grasping the wheel that was attached to the object of question. She also noticed two legs with feet on the ends of each one. His figure was quite muscular as well. He had no fur, but he did have a long black 'mane' and a shaved look on his face. He wore a black t-shirt with a white strange, yet cool-looking, design. The entire shirt was not, however, visible due to the unzipped black leather vest he had over it. On his right wrist, he had a simple black leather strap, while on the other, he had a larger black leather strap with metal spikes poking out in a pattern on the entire strap. He also wore black jeans and a pair of black tennis shoes. On his back, he was carrying an axe with a fiery design on it as well as a strange v-shaped instrument with the same design as the object he was in. She didn't quite know what to do at that point. Can she just fly next to it and say hi or will this creature prove to be hostile. It's already clear that he was indeed hostile due to the weapon on his back, but she was still unsure of what kind of approach to take on it. Then she noticed something. The creature looked up. When he did, his eyes widened at the sight before him. "HOLY SHIT!" he slowed the object he was in to a stop and he got out and got his axe in his hand in case this creature, unfamiliar to him, was dangerous, which had been the case for most unknown creatures in this world that he has encountered. Rainbow figured it was now or never to try and talk to him, not even knowing whether or not the two-legged creature she saw could speak. She flew down and gently landed in front of him, then folding her wings at her side when she landed. "Um...hi there?" The furless creature's eyes widened even more. "Um...hey..." He slowly put his axe back onto his back, clearly acknowledging her intentions were not as hostile as he had thought. "My name's Rainbow Dash...what's yours?" "Eddie...Eddie Riggs..." he didn't know why he felt the need to tell Rainbow Dash his name, but something compelled him to. He then noticed the belt buckle on her neck, then looking back at his own. His eyes widened even more, if even possible, "Where'd you get that belt?" "I saw it fall through the sky. I thought it was pretty awesome-looking so I tied some string to it and put it on. Pretty cool, huh?" She then stood in her usual boasting pose, when she noticed the same exact belt buckle around Eddie's waist. "Where'd YOU get THAT one?" "My Dad gave it to me...a while ago...Let me guess, you got some blood in its mouth and the next thing you know you wind up here?" "Yeah, how'd you know?" "The same thing happened to me. Here, let me take you back to Bladehenge. I'm sure the rest of the crew will want to meet ya," he got back inside the vehicle he was in earlier and motioned for Rainbow to get in as well. "Thanks, but I'm more comfortable flying. And I can probably go faster than that thing, whatever it is" "I call it the Druid Plow. It's a car," he then realized that Rainbow probably haven't seen a car before, "it's something we humans use to get from place to place." "A human?" she thought, "so THAT'S what he is...Lyra's gonna kill me once she finds out she was right about them being real." "Yeah, I still think I can go faster flying." "That so? Well, perhaps you'd like to put your wings to the test, then." "Is that a challenge, Riggs?" "Yeah, I guess you could say that, Dash." "Then you're on." "Alright, race you to the giant sword down the road from here." "Deal." And with that, the racers were set, and Eddie revved up his engine and Rainbow squatted in a starting position. "Considering how fast she was flying earlier, this should be a bit more of a challenge than Fletus and his 'Squealer'," Eddie thought to himself. Rainbow did the countdown, "3...2...1...GO!" As soon as she said that, she flew off fast as a bullet, while Eddie's car drove pretty fast, but still couldn't seem to keep up. Even with all the nitro that he upgraded it with thanks to the Gaurdian of Metal, he just barely managed to keep at least a little bit behind her. Once he saw the sword statue he mentioned earlier, he knew it was over. Rainbow landed right in front of it only a little bit before Eddie slowed his car to a stop. "Ha! Told ya I was faster than that car thing." "Yeah, you got nice moves. Nobody's ever beaten me in a race before." "Well, nopony's ever gotten that close to catching up to me before either." "Alright. What do ya say you give the wings a rest and take a seat in the car. We're not that far from Bladehenge so it should be a short ride." "No thanks, I'm still more comfortable flying. I'll just follow you since I don't know how to get to this 'Bladehenge' place." "Deal." Some zombies here, some demons there, nothing I can't handle. I even slayed the demon emperor, Diviculus." "Really?...that's so cool" "Yeah, I guess it was pretty awesome thinking back." *Flashback* Eddie took his axe and sliced through the neck of the great demon emperor. "DECAPITATIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!" As he yelled, the head of Diviculus came clean off, blood gushing everywhere. *flashback over* "But so far, that's about all I've done other than destroyed thbis one guy who was trying to make money off of metal, but that was before I killed Diviculus. I was just heading back to Bladehenge after running some errands when I saw you." "Woah. I've actually done some pretty cool stuff myself, for example...well, it's best just to show ya." she then flew up, accelerating more and more. A cone began to form around her getting narrower and narrower until suddenly, BOOM! An explosion of color could be seen for miles around. She then flew back to were Eddie was with a rainbow marking her path. "Wow...that...was...fucking AWESOME!" "I know, right? It's called a 'Sonic Rainboom' and I'm the only flyer in Equestria who can do it" "Awesome, Dash, just...awesome...We're almost at Bladehenge. Get ready to meet the rest of the gang." They slowed down as they reached what appeared to be teeth sticking up from the ground. A blonde girl in black leather was standing there holding a spear-looking thing. "There you are Eddie," it was then, she noticed Rainbow Dash and aimed her spear at her, "Who is this?" "Relax, Lita. Her name is Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash, this is Lita, one of the leaders of Ironheade." "Ironheade?" "Yeah, that's the name of our army." "Hi, Eddie," another woman. This one was a brunette wearing blue jeans, and a black shirt with some sort of bird with a cross design on it. "Hey, Ophelia. I'd like you to meet Rainbow Dash." "Well, nice to meet ya, Rainbow Dash." "Nice to meet you, too, Ophelia." "What the hell's goin' on over here?" A man with a cowboy hat and cowboy boots rode out on a motorcycle. He had a cigarette in his mouth, sideburns, and sunglasses. "What's with the horse?" "Killmaster! You're just in time to meet Rainbow Dash." "Really?...THAT'S her name?" "Well, I see you're quite the friendly type..." "BLOODY HELL, IT TALKS!" he yelled, almost falling off of his motorcycle." All of a sudden, sound was coming out of Eddie's walkie-talkie. "EDDIE, WE'RE UNDER ATTACK! LOOK!" Eddie looked at the warning lights. "Must just be some of those idiots who think Diviculus is gonna rise up from the dead. Just set up the stage." All of a sudden, there was a huge stage built in like 1 minute, and Eddie had his axe ready. "You ready for some action, Dash?" "Aw yeah!" PrologueIt was a normal day in Ponyville. Rainbow Dash was just kicking back relaxing on a cloud when, all of a sudden, she felt something fall through the cloud she was on. Just a small part of it, but enough that she could sense it. She opened her eyes and looked down to see if it was still falling. Her curiosity got the best of her and, without thinking, flew down and grabbed it, then flew back up to the cloud to examine it. It was a metal belt buckle that sort of resembled the head of some sort of beast. "Awesome," she thought to herself as she continued examining it. Then, she grabbed a piece of string and sort of tied it to the belt buckle to be used as a sort of necklace. "I gotta show this to Twilight." She then zoomed off to the Library to look for her. She knocked on the door when she got there. Twilight answered. "Hey Rainbow Dash, what's up?" Twilight asked. "Just came over to show you this awesome belt buckle I found." She lifted up the beastly belt buckle slightly to show Twilight. Twilight gasped as soon as she saw it. "Where did you find it?" she asked in a sort of worried tone. "It fell from the sky, why?" "I think I remember seeing it in one of my books." They then decide they should go look through their library to figure out what book she found it in to figure out what it might be. "Found it," Rainbow said as she found a picture of it in a book titled "Heavy Metal"Twilight grabbed the book and started reading. "It says that that belt buckle resembles the head of a metal fire beast known as 'Ormagoden'. Legend has it, that if anypony where to get blood in the mouth of the mouth of it, that Ormagoden himself would appear and transport the wearer to another world. That's all it says." Chapter 4: The Battle for SanityThe enemies charged towards them. There were the demons that Eddie had faced, but they were with something...odd... "Are those...buffaloes...in ballet outfits?" Eddie was confused as hell. He looked over to RD, hoping she could help clarify what was going on. She had a slightly less confused look, but more pondering. She knew what was going on. She wasn't quite sure how it happened, but she knew. "How could HE have gotten here? WHY would he come here?" "Who?" "Discord, the god of chaos and disharmony from Equestria. But I thought he was turned to stone..." "Well, he can't be good if he's working with Diviculus' army. You might want to stand back by the way." Rainbow steps back as they are surrounded by demons and ballet buffaloes. Eddie then pulls out the six-stringed instrument and plays an awesome solo on it, which proceeds to melt the faces off of the surrounding enemies. "Haha, looks like ya got face all over your shirt!" He says mockingly to one of the corpses. Rainbow Dash smirked. "That...was...AWESOME!" they high-5 each other(or high-hoofed in RD's case), "check this out." She flew up really high and then flew straight down into a huge hoard of them really fast, all of a sudden, they see a multi-colored mushroom cloud explosion, obliterating the entire hoard. She flies back over to Eddie without a scratch. "Awesome...fucking awesome...I;m gonna go over here and get some merch booths set up. Thi nk you can keep them away from the stage long enough?" "Can I? Remember who you're talking to, Eddie." Eddie nods and goes plays some solos over by the fan geysers and after a few hoards are killed, another demon showed up, different than the others.
