It was Luna's Night in ponyville and most of Equestria was asleep. Everything is quiet, well... besides the crickets that were chirping.

A certain discovery was about to be made tonight.

A certain Purple Unicorn that we all know-and-love, was sitting on her bed and looking out the window with her brand new large telescope in her treehouse of library "fun". The Telescope was named XY-80, It was manufanctured by the Xano and Yuno industries. A few planetary discoveries had been made like, Glydian, and other planets that were in and out of the solar system. About the time when the first telescopes came out, they were small and hard to adjust, about 20 years ago, there was a certain question had risen, 'was there life out there besides us?'.

She aimed her telescope slightly to the left, 'Hmm studies shown that we havent have explored this part of the sky' She thought.
She adjusted her telescope closer and found a sun that was yellow-orange, fit for supporting life if needed. Fortunately, the lense are protected by a certain glass that helps blocks most of the sun's rays so they wont hurt your eyes. She moved the telescope a little more the the left and saw what looks like a dozen planets circling around the sun. But only a few of them have unusual orbits.

She moved in closer to see a certain blue-greenish planet. It's continents are more jagged than the continents on her planet. The other planet's dark side was almost lit with what-looks-to-be about a million lantern lights. She started to adjust her telescope a little more to have a much clearer view until she started to feel very sleepy. She used her telekinesis powers to lift a cup of coffee next to her table while still looking out her telescope. She was so concentrated on that blue-greenish planet and was also tired that she lost her concentration on her cup and she accidently dropped in on the floor. The coffee in the cup spilled out while the cup was shattered into a dozen pieces around the carved wooden floor.

The Unicorn groaned and began to pick up the pieces using her magic. Nearby a baby purple dragon began to stir in his sleep and opened his eyes slowly.

"Ugh, Twilight, why are you awake right now? Its like midnight!"

"Uh, Sorry Spike, I was exploring the night sky, and Midnight is the best time to see Luna's Night sky!"

"...F-fine, but I highly recommend that you should sleep at this hour or you will go crazy tommorrow.." The baby dragon began to fall asleep again and a few moments later, snoring.

Twilight sticks her tongue out and threw the trash, she was holding with her magic, out the window. But Spike is right, she should get some sleep, she could report her findings to Princess Celestia tomorrow.

In a Military base between Yreka and Redding (In Present day California). A Engineer walked up to a general named Malcomson.

"Sir," The Engineer saluted, "our new spaceship known as Starflight II, will be up and running in 2 months."

"Good" Said Malcomson, "In 2 months we shall explore this planet called Gilese 581g, am I correct?"

"Yes sir"

Nearby a Clipboard of the names of volenteers: 'Brandon Tran, Henry Landivar, Jeriel Cortes, and Andrew Pham.'

Humans established space flight in the year 2024 and traveled to Mars in 2026. The First man was a Person named Brandon Tran. His family originally came from Vietnam and was rich (only on his mom's side) until the Vietnam war came,most of his family had fled to America between 1970- 1990. Brandon was Born on July 9, 1999 (the day where Sweetie Belle was also born) In Pennsylvania , he was one of the first kindergardeners in his elementary school that was literally in front of his house. his family became rich again in 2020. Brandon became a Mayor of Frederick couple years after.

The Second Man was Jeriel Cortes, He was and Asian born in Vancouver, Canada. I cannot pinpoint his exact birthdate but he moved south to Maryland where Brandon Also moved south to. He Was an Engineer in warmachines and invented a couple.

The Third Man was Andrew Pham, who came to the group last. He was Born in Saigon, Vietnam and moved to Maryland when he was 9. Not much is known about him though.

The Fourth Man was Henry Landivar, he was about as nervous as fluttershy but isnt sensitive. He doesnt like to be in things that he didnt make like in this story (mwahahaha). He was the only person in the group that is not asian, but instead he was born in Bolivia and moved north to Maryland when he was young. He was the third person to be in the group. From first sight, he looked poor.

Basically their group began forming in early Middle School and ended in Early Highschool. And they were real people.

In a town called Redding, 4 people that can approve for Left 4 Dead Characters was walking near the side walk in a cloudy day, and predicted to rain later at night.

"Guys Im hungry" said Andrew, holding his stomach.

"You could say he is in," Brandon puts on his sunglasses, "Hungary, YEAAAAHHHHH!"

"Shut up" Said Andrew sticking his tongue out.

"Hey, what does cannibals eat for thanksgiving?"

"A Turkish guy, we know you said it like 5 times this month" said Jeriel eating a burger

The Gang that can approve for Left 4 Dead Characters walk around the corner of a nearby building

"So guys, what do you think of the Gilese 581g planet?" Asked Henry

"I hope it has Ponies in it"

"Me too"

"Yeah" said Jeriel

"Ew, you guys are gay" Said Andrew with his face disgusted

"Why am I gay if i have a girlfriend?" Replied Brandon

"Yeah well your girlfriend's gay"

"How is she gay if she likes the opposite gender? OOOHHHH! In your face!" Yelled Brandon waving his arms about.

"Whatever, but lets hope we will land safely there and land safely back" Andrew shrugged and pointed out.

"Hey guys did you know that China annexed Hong Kong almost a month ago?" Ask Brandon

"We know..."

I was before, suprised that no one had the idea of creating any stories about life on a Real Life Earth-Like Planet, like Gilese 581g

The USA In 2047 has 55-60 states (New I-know States: Puerto Rico, West Hawaii, Jefferson, Huron, New Brunswick, Cascadia, Nova Scotia, etc)
