Empty Manehatten Streets
Due Care
Load Full StoryI continued to walk, craning my head to look at the tall buildings. I didn't know when I began walking, I just knew that I had nothing better to do. Towering buildings surrounded me, the tops cut off by an inexplicable fog.
The fog was less of a ceiling than a cage. The fog surrounded me, giving me about twenty feet to see in every direction. It was impossible to see through and no matter how fast I chased it, I could never get close to the fog bank.
This fog also seemed to cover the deepest corners of my mind. I was unable to remember anything other than my name. Swift Feet.
This city was mostly grey, the only color my brown coat. The city reminded me of Manehatten, but not the one in real life. It seemed to be the one from old films as it had an air of drama. Every footstep seemed to increase the tension, but not in a bad way.
