Lightning Bolt has a tragic accident during one of his shows. Soon Lightning loses all hope for life, but when he meets a fellow pegasus and dare-devil, Rainbow Dash, he finds life isn't so bleak and miserable after all

Lightning Bolt was a more than average pegasus. He was a famous dare devil, known throughout Equestria. He was on top of the world, until one day, he was involved in an accident during a show at Canterlot. Afterwards he loses hope for life and falls into a deep depression. Then one day he meets Rainbow Dash, and things then take an unexpected turn as the two learn there's more to life than flying.
