My eyes burned,my chest stung, my wings were ever so tired. I painfully opened my eyes and saw a very bright light looming right over my face. I winced and forced my eyes shut once more. Once I gained the strentgh to open my eyes again I willed them to see where I was.
Two Pegasi were holding surgury tools, operating on my chest. All of the sudden a wave of energy went through me and i jumped up, grabbed one surgeon, and to my great surprise, my hoof took a black shade and stretched all the way to the door and locked it closed. The surgeon galloped straight into the door, falling to the floor, unconsious. I survayed what I had just done, astonished. I wheeled my head towards the surgeon I had in my grasp and growled,"What have you done to me!"
"I... I, we dont know... you are sopposed to be... DEAD!" The surgeon stuttered I glanced down to my chest and saw a more disgusting sight than anything I have ever seen before. A scalpel was stuck in my heart where black liquid oozed out, while I could see my lungs keeping the pace as my breath. My jaw dropped.
I was hungry, so,so hungry. I grabbed him by the neck and, well, I consumed him. His wingsturned into nothing and reddish black strings flew into my hand. I looked him in the eyes and saw it was happening to his face as well. After a few seconds he was completely gone. I realised that was how I got my energy. What was I? A monster? A zombie?
I heard the door unlocking and knew I needed a disguise, so I willed myself to change form. I felt my horn shrinking, I grew smaller. I looked at myself and saw that I was now the seurgeon that I consumed. The door burst open and Blacklight soldiers stormed the room. I decided to act as if I had been injured by,well, me and slumped against the wall.
A soldier walked up to me and said "What happened, where is prisoner zero?" He looked at me expaectantly.
I gave the most convincing cough iI could and looked at him innocently. I replied in an over dramatic voice "He jumped off the table and hit us both," I nodded to the unconsious surgeon sprawled on the floor."He took out a cell phone and called someone. He said that he would meet the caller at Philydelphia, and then I went unconsious from the pain."
The Black light looked around the room a bit more than left. I morphed back into myself and dived out the window.
The air felt good on my face as I plummeted too my inevitable death. The ground grew nearer and I closed my eyes.
A big bang, but with no pain. I opened one eye and looked around. I was in an at least fifteen foot crator, but i I was without a scratch. I stood up on shaking legs. I tensed my limbs and jumped. I jumped higher than I have ever before. I launched up ten, twenty, thirty, a hundred feet in the air.
I descended going at least mock five. I landed on a taxi. I saw blood and some other things I would like not to explain. I ran towards the nearest ally way. My feet made cracks in the pavement as I flew into the darkness. The dark calmed my nerves and my adrenaline puffed head.
A sharp pain stormed through my wings. I swung around and I saw a shocking sight. My wings were disintegrating. The skin peeled off and the muscles burned to a crisp. The bones disappeared and I was now an earth pony.
But none of that mattered to me. What had I become. I killed innocent people. Why, Why did I do this? Even more important, who am I? What am I?
