Now that the Equestrian Hunger Games have begun, Sparkler thought that she was prepared for the worst. Oh, how wrong she was. Eventhough she has her newfound ability to control any weapon she desires and has a resistance to flames, that ability as well as all her magic was stripped away at the last second.

Without her magic and powers, Sparkler must rely on her own natural skills and her ragtag group of friends if she is to survive. But as the days grow shorter, how will she make sure that they all survive if only one of them could win?
