Another wonderful morning bloomed over Dan’s eyes.
“Gooooood morning Ponyville” He whispered to himself, wiping the dust out of his eyes. “And good morning to you” he chuckled, looking under his sheets at his morning glory. He slowly stroked it “it couldn’t hurt... could it?” He pinned his ear skyward, listening for any indication of movement from upstairs, to which the library was quiet. His slow rubs intensified, he leaned back and closed his eyes once more remembering. “ohhh Charlotte...” escaped his lips.
“Who’s Charlotte?” came the familiar voice of Spike.
Dan quickly stopped “You didn’t...”
“I did. Don’t worry yourself, you did have some privacy before I came down. Gotta do what you gotta do right?” Spike winked. “I didn’t see anything of yours anyway. So...?”
“So?” Dan raised an eyebrow, his member quickly shrinking back.
“Who’s this Charlotte?”
Dan sighed and looked down. “Ex-girlfriend that I sort of couldn’t get over... I thought I had, until last night...”
“Dreams of her? Dude, totally feel for you there...”
Dan nodded “Take it yours is Twilight?”
Spike laughed and shook his head “I’m her assistant, besides she’s more of a mom to me. No, I dream of Rarity.”
Dan’s face dropped. “Good luck to you my scaly friend” He chuckled. Spike smiled and set about his chores. “Not a word to Twilight... I don’t think I could stand having another interview”
Spike laughed from the top of a ladder as he replaced some books Twilight had left out the previous night, while the creaking of the library stairs increased “Morning you two.” Said the purple Unicorn.
“Morning Twilight, breakfast is getting ready for you in the kitchen” Said Spike hurriedly.
“Morning Twi” Dan smiled at her.
Twi giggled “you have a...” she burst into laughter. As Dan looked down he couldn’t help but notice a wet patch right above where his shaft once stood tall. He had cum, without even noticing. (Come on, everyone’s done it... right?).
“uhhhhhh.... that’s embarrassing...” he said, blushing redder than a tomato. “I’ll clean it up”
“Would be a good idea Dan, no way am I touching that” her laughter quietened as she started her day. She winked as she passed by him.
“Oi where’s the laundry room and bathroom in this mad place?”
“Spike?”
“On it already Twi, come on Dan.” The little dragon ushered Dan towards the laundry room.
“Why didn’t you say?” Dan whispered once in the laundry room.
“I didn’t see it! Must’ve happened after she came downstairs!”
A voice from upstairs bellowed down to them “What are you two doing down there? It doesn’t take this long to dump a messy blanket! Spike knows this far too well!”
“HEY! YOU SAID YOU’D KEEP THAT QUIET TWILIGHT!” The dragon suddenly blushed as a loud laughter rained down to them. “Let’s go Dan... and quick. Before she starts thinking we’re actually doing something.”
“Hey sorry you’re not my type” Dan responded, giving Spike a little knock to the shoulder.
“Oh yeah? And Twilight is?” Spike replied, returning the nudge.
“Oi! That’s not funny! And besides... It’s Rarity” He laughed. “I kid little dude, chill out. Wouldn’t want to mess with a dragon anyway eh?”
“Too right Dan... Glad you’re not as thick as you look.” A relieved anger in his voice.
“And for your information, Dan isn’t my type either, Spike.” Twilights voice called back down to them.
“How does she do that?” Dan questioned.
“duh... Unicorn?” Spike pointed at his forehead.
“oh... right... magic... got it...”
Dan and Spike returned to the main room in the Library. Twilight was hard at it, ruining Spikes book keeping skills with her research. Spike merely sighed and went about his business.
“I’m gonna have a bath if that’s okay with you Twi?” Dan asked, grabbing his clothes off the chair.
“Upstairs, second on the left” She responded. “Don’t spend all day in their mind you, you’re not the only one who wants a bath” She giggled.
He walked quickly upstairs, noticing Twilights bedroom door open. “Nice room” he said.
“THANKS!” Came the voice from downstairs “But that isn’t the bathroom! Next to it!”
“THAAAANKS TWI!” He responded, laughing heartily to himself. He walked into the pristine bathroom and soon had the bath filling with steaming water and bubbles. “Ponies have it good...” He perked his ear up waiting for a response, but none came. He simply laughed and went about cleaning himself. (After burning his hand in the hot water of course).
*Knock knock knock*
Dan awoke from his dream, still laying in the bath. The bubbles had gone. How long had he been in there?
“Dan you alive in there?” Came Spikes voice from the other side of the door.
“Yeah... Yeah sorry dude... Not gonna lie I fell asleep! This bath...”
“Knew you had” Spike chuckled “could hear the snoring! Now hurry up, you and me have shopping to do.”
Dan sighed and pulled the plug, the water soon vanished down the hole. Dan vigorously dried himself off, before putting on his clothes and heading downstairs.
“Nice to see you dressed, finally” Spike called from the door “you ready to go?”
“Yeah yeah, where we going?”
“Just to market, nowhere special. Just a few things Twi asked for.”
“Lead the way my man!”
So together, the human and the dragon walked towards Ponyville’s bustling marketplace. Ponies were exchanging currency for goods everywhere Dan looked. “Okaaaay... hmm... Dan can you go get some Quills and parchment while I go for the groceries, just over there” Spike pointed a stall out to Dan “Just say you’ve come for Twilights order, he’ll know what you mean.”
“Okay I got that, meet back at the library?”
“Sure! Easy enough. See ya!” Spike chuckled to himself, giving Dan a bag. “That should be the cost covered.”
“That’s... a large amount” Dan said, weighing the bag in his hand “How much...” He couldn’t finish his sentence, Spike was already long gone. Dan sighed and made his way over to the stall.
The pony’s eyes widened as Dan made his way over to him. “Hasn’t everypony heard about me already” Dan grumbled to himself. “Hello there, I’ve come to collect Twilight Sparkles order?” He said calmly to the now white faced pony.
“Tw...tw...tw...Twilight... Sp...Sparkles... Order...” responded the pony.
“Er... yeah... My friend, Spike, told me this is where I had to come for it. Here...” Dan said, placing the bag of bits on the stall.
“DANIAL! DARLING!” Came a very familiar voice. The white unicorn that is Rarity trotted up beside Dan. “How are you?”
“Rarity? Hello there. Just collecting some Quills and parchment for Twilight then I’m guessing I’ve got nothing to do. How about yourself?” Dan smiled at the unicorn.
“I’m quite fine thank you! If you wouldn’t mind popping over to the Boutique when you have a moment, I have something to show you” She returned the smile, looking slightly lustful.
Dan didn’t take notice of her look “Sure thing Rarity, that’s if Twilight lets me out of her sight” he chuckled to himself “too many interviews about our culture”
“I’ll see you soon then, I too have supplies to get. Ta ta!” She briskly trotted off.
“Bye Rarity.” He watched her trot away before returning to the stall owner, who had got all the supplies Twilight had asked for in the time he and Rarity were talking.
“Yes, that bag of bits is enough to cover the cost. Counted that too. Don’t worry I’ve left some in there for Miss Sparkle too.”
“Thanks... Blimy...” Dan observed the large pile of parchment.
“That’s what I think every time I see her list.” Replied the pony.
Dan gulped. “Right... this is going to make for an interesting walk... Thank you sir. Enjoy your day.”
“Take care.”
Dan loaded the parchment and quills onto his arms, and made his way through the crowded market. It took him longer to get back to the library than he had first thought, then again, he did drop a few scrolls once or twice. That couldn’t of helped. Eventually he banged on the door with his foot. “TWILIGHT LET ME IN! QUICK!”
The door swung open and the scrolls lifted out of his arms in a purple aura. “Thank you Daniel. Oh Rarity just stopped by, she wanted me to tell...”
“That she wants me to go see her; yeah we spoke in the market. Oh here” Dan pulled the bag of money out of his pocket “Your change. I’ll go to Rarity’s if you don’t need me here.”
“Go on, I’ve got study to do so you’ll be bored here anyway” She rolled her eyes.
“Later’s!” Dan turned on his heels and wandered towards the boutique. A much quieter walk than the one he had just witnessed coming from the market. He was soon face to face with the Boutiques door. “Open. Well that’s easy enough.” He said, letting himself inside. “Rarity? It’s me, Dan.”
“Just a second darling! I’m in the zone!” Came Rarity’s voice from upstairs. This gave Dan a chance to have a look around. Pony manikins, mirrors, gems. Nothing of real interest, well apart from the gems but he wasn’t about to steal anything from her. No, he just wanted to know what she had planned for him. “Ok darling come upstairs, I have a present for you!”
Dan walked briskly up the stairs, and saw Rarity staring at him. Her eyes seemed to twinkle at him; a small smile appeared on her face. “Come in come in, you’re going to love this.”
“Oh? What is it?”
“TA DA!” A suit stood before him, encrusted with rubies.
“Rarity... It’s...” He stammered, totally awestruck. She said nothing as he walked over to it. He grasped a sleeve and studied it. “Perfect. Rarity, thank you.”
“It’s okay darling.” She moved in closer “anything for a friend.”
“uhhh... Rarity? You ok?” Dan asked, starting to worry slightly.
“I’m perfectly fine darling, are you?” She said lustfully.
“ummm... yeah... sure! Never better in fact!”
Then it happened, she suddenly planted her lips to his. He kept his hands high in the air, this isn’t what he wanted. He’d only known her for a day, so why was she doing this? He pushed her away. “Rarity... No... Sorry... It just...”
“Darling?” She suddenly went wide eyed “I just... didn’t I?” He nodded in response. “I’m so so so so so sorry Daniel!” She wept. “Please... Don’t tell any pony I just did that...”
Dan stood there in shock, and did the only thing he could think of. He wrapped his arms around her and held her against himself in a hug. “In a way, that was nice.”
“Hmmm? Darling?” she said, wiping away a tear.
“The fact you just kissed me, means that I’m somewhat attractive to you right?” She nodded slowly. “Well... Not that you’re not beautiful or anything, you are very beautiful, but I made a promise to someone about you, and I’m not one to break promises. So... I’m the one who’s sorry Rarity. The suit you made me is wonderful, but... I don’t know, I guess I’m just not ready for anything like that. Being a new world and everything else.” A tear trickled down his cheek. “I’ll go now... And leave the suit in your care, you’ll look after it better.”
Rarity, who was now sitting on her haunches, nodded at him. “You still miss your last one don’t you?”
He nodded slowly “yeah...”
She sighed, hurting from the rejection “I don’t blame you, I was rushing. I won’t charge for the suit Daniel, please I want us to be friends still.”
“I never said any different Rarity, but for now I’ll leave you. It’s getting late after all.”
She nodded again and stood up. They both walked downstairs slowly together. She opened the door, he gave her one last hug before setting off home.
“Goodbye ‘till tomorrow Rarity, well if you come over or... the spa! Want to do that?”
Her face lit up in a smile “I’d love to. Aloe and Lotus are just the best thing you’ll ever experience!”
“I’m sure they are” he beamed at her.
“LOOK OUT BELOW!!! WAAAAAA!” came a yell from above them, making them both look skyward.
“WHAT THE! OFFFT!” Dan hit the ground, knocking him out on the hard surface.
