Unknown Worlds

A few days have passed since Twilight and Dan made their feelings known for each other. Dan had treated Twilight to a candle light dinner every night, but there was one thing on his mind.
“Twilight?” Dan asked, walking in after another candle dinner.
“Yes Daniel?” She replied, softly smiling at him.
“Why do you find me attractive?”
This question stumped her, it wasn’t something she could explain, she just... did! How could she explain that to him? More for, why did he find her attractive?
“I could ask you the same thing Dan.” She said, hanging up her cape.
“That’s... a good point. Look, I just think you’re beautiful and your intelligence is really attractive, your caring nature as well.”
She smiled at him “Think about what you said, and imagine me saying it.”
He blushed, and gave her a long hug. She held him close, resting her chin on his shoulder.
“Dan... Do you want to bed share with me tonight?” She asked, after reluctantly letting go of the hug.
Dan’s eyes widened “you mean... really?”
She nodded. “Keep your pants on though Dan, I’m saying sleep, not you know... the other kind of Sleep together.” She emphasised on the second sleep with a sarcastic tone.
“Hey, if it finds you attractive I’ll be sure to turn over. I’m not going to rush you into anything you don’t want to do” He giggled, she giggled. “I respect you so much more than that Twi.” He finished, holding her under her chin. She smiled and led the way upstairs.
Now, dear reader, around this time other things were happening concerning Daniel, but he did not know it. Miles away in Canterlot, Luna was thinking strange thoughts to do with him. As you may remember, she showed great relief to know he was staying in Equestria, but these thoughts were new to her. You see, she was entering adult life, meaning her body was changing. These thoughts concerned, you guessed it, sex... AND LOTS OF IT. She had put off talking with the one Pony who would understand for days now, but it was becoming unbearable. It was time she spoke with her sister.
“SISTER! We must talk!” Luna bellowed, crashing through her sister’s chamber door.
“Must you break doors down everywhere you go?” Celestia looked concerned at her sister. “What ever is the matter?”
“Sister! It is urgent we speak!” Luna nervously spoke, fixing the door.
“Yes...?” Celestia enquired.
Luna sighed heavily. “It’s that creature I saved.”
“That Daniel?”
Luna slowly nodded at her sister. “I have feelings towards him... I cannot explain these...”
Celestia chuckled softly “Dear sister you are entering heat. I was expecting you to a lot sooner. It’s perfectly natural to have these thoughts, however” her voice turned more sternly “Why this creature?”
Luna looked at the floor in thought and confusion. “We... I don’t know why him... It just has to be him for me.”
“Not to burst your bubble, as such, but he has started courting my faithful student.”
“Twilight Sparkle?” Luna’s face dropped slightly.
Celestia nodded and pulled a letter from the pile on her desk. “She has gone into great detail about his society, and it seems they are single partners only. As you well know it is normal for males in our society to have more than one partner, but this might be a shock to him.”
Luna’s face lightened up slightly “maybe... if we spoke to him...”
“Just don’t get your hopes up dear sister, there’s no certainty that he’ll agree to court you and Twilight.” Celestia looked over at Luna “It wouldn’t hurt to ask them both about it.”
She shuffled on her hooves “we will think about it dear sister... Thank you for speaking with me.”
Celestia nodded “It’s quite alright dear sister, you know you’re more than welcome to speak to me when you please.”
Luna slowly left her sisters chamber, gently opening and closing the door. She was determined to think hard about Daniel... long and hard... ooo... *slap* what? Oh yeah! So with this new information about her friend and her fantasy courting, how would Daniel take this? Would he be happy? Confused? Angry? She had to find out soon, but she didn’t want to rush into anything.
“Twilight! I’m back!” Spikes voice travelled through the library.
“Hey Spike” Dan said, walking down the stairs. “Twi’s sleeping.”
“Oh!” Spike put his claws over his mouth and started a whisper “Did you finally get it?”
“Get it...? Spike! No!” Dan frowned “I’m not rushing her or myself!”
Spike rolled his eyes “Dude come on, you set me up with Rarity basically... Yeah she told me today, thanks dude. It explains why she wanted to spend so much time with me.”
“Ohhhhhh that makes sense... Well?”
“Well what?” Spikes eyebrow rose slightly. Dan simply winked at him. “Ohhh dude, no we haven’t. We only started properly dating today, that’s why I’ve been out all day. Meal for two, movie and some swooning and smooching... It was just... perfect.”
“Awwww you’re a softie really” Dan said, rubbing Spikes head playfully.
“Quit it!” Spike giggled “Ok we’ll I’m going to bed, I’m tired enough as it is.”
“Yeah I would if I were you; I just wanted a drink before I went to bed with Twi.”
Spike stopped “wait, she’s allowing you to sleep with her?” Dan nodded and smiled “Dude, nice one. She must really like you then”
“I would hope so Spikey Wikey” Dan said, mocking Rarity’s voice. It got the response he wanted, a moan and a pout from the small dragon, before he waddled off to bed.
Dan walked quietly to the kitchen and prepared himself a glass of water. He looked out at the window at the moon. “Princess Luna... Why did you sigh when Celestia said I could stay?” He asked the moon, knowing it would not respond. He grabbed his glass and headed back upstairs to his loves bedroom. There she lay quietly sleeping. Dan smiled as he looked at her; she was tightly wrapped in the covers, lying with enough room for him to lie next to her. She had a smile on her face. “What are you dreaming of Twi?” He asked softly, getting back into bed.
She turned and looked at him “you.” She wrapped her hooves around him in a tight hug, he responded by doing the same with her. The lights faded out in the room, and they both drifted to sleep. Thinking of each other, holding the other tightly in their arms and hooves.
