A darker dawn in equestria and the seven elements
It was a normal day in Ponyville. Twilight Sparkle was caught in her studies, Applejack was bucking apples, and Rainbow dash was clearing the clouds like shes suppose to do. Today everything seemed perfect. Nothing could go wrong or so the ponies thought. He watched the carefree ponies with disgust through the magic images he created. Shadow Dawn Hated friendship and harmony. He despised it. He wanted to get rid of it forever. like the Grinch who stole Christmas, but his heart would never grow three sizes that day nor any day to come.
Shadow Dawn continued to watch the ponies by using his magic. Although he was a Pegasus he was born with magic and could use it as he pleased. He was dark colored with a dark mane and sinister gold eyes. He was born in deepest and most treacherous parts of the Everfree forest and used his magic to survive. He mastered it and used it to see other ponies with his magic. He didn't understand how these ponies could live so happy and carefree while he was having to try to survive in the forest.
In order to destroy friendship and harmony forever Shadow Dawn had only one choice. He must get rid of the Mane six. They controlled the elements of harmony and had the most powerful friendship of all. Just six little ponies to destroy. Once they were destroyed so would be the elements and then the rest of his plan would follow. "Those stupid naive little ponies" Shadow Dawn thought to himself. Shadow Dawn continued plotting his plan. as the Ponyville ponies went about their day, but no pony knew about Shadow Dawn No pony knew that he was going to get rid of friendship and harmony once and for all. Was there no hope for the Mane six and all the ponies in Equestria? It seemed so, but hope always finds a way. Or does it?
On a different less negative note Morning Story a unicorn was on a train travelling from Baltimare to Canterlot. Shes suppose to meet her sister Lucky Bell there. They had decided that living in a royal setting like Canterlot would be a good change. The setting might inspire her to write a pony tale. Morning Story was great at writing stories of any genre. Its no wonder that her cutie mark is a book. She was a light brown colored mare with a slightly messy brown mane and tail, and light blue eyes.. Her sister was kind of the opposite, but we'll get to her later.
Morning Story had been on the train for a few hours now, but she wasn't bored. She was enjoying the ride. The train came to a sudden stop. Poor Morning who hadn't been paying attention had her head hit the window because of the stop. The train doors opened. Morning Story was a little dizzy from the stop. Actually she was seeing stars. Morning exited the train in a swaying motion like a pony whose had to much salt. She got out to look around and the train left in a hurry. "Wait a second" Morning thought as she looked at the unfamiliar town. "This isn't Canterlot. Canterlot was suppose to be royal and this place didn't seem royal at all. Morning Story quickly realized that she had gotten on the wrong train. "Where am I" she thought to herself.
Morning decided that she should look around and find some pony who could tell her where she was.Morning stumbled across a large red stallion named Macintosh. "Maybe he can tell me where I am." Morning Story thought to herself. "Excuse me sir I'm kind of lost and i was wondering if you could tell me, is this Canterlot?" Macintosh looked up and thought for a second finally he said in a deep voice " Noooope." "Thanks well could you tell me where I am", Morning asked. Macintosh thought for a minute again and then saying in the same deep voice "Eeeeeeyup." Macintosh paused. Morning story waited five minutes and still no answer. "Could you please tell me where I am?" Morning asked. Macintosh just stared at Morning story shyly. "Well thanks for the help," Morning story said even though that stallion was no help at all. She decided to go find another pony to asked. Morning was right by Sugarcube corner. She looked through the window, but the two ponies that worked there seemed very busy and seemed to have their hooves full with a big order. "Sigh this is not my day" Morning said to herself.
Then Morning saw a Pegasus right above her. The Pegasus was delivering mail, eating muffins and almost crashing into everything. "Hey miss mail Pegasus." Morning story said trying to get the grey Pegasus's attention. The Pegasus flew strait toward Morning Story. Morning gave a sigh of relief. "Finally things seem to be going my way." She thought. But the Pegasus was flying strait for her and wasn't stopping. "Uh oh I can't stop." She said. "Oh no." Morning said quietly as she ducked as low as she could. The runaway Pegasus barely missed her and crashed right into a tree. "Oh no." said Morning again. Morning Story quickly rushed to the Pegasus. Are you okay she asked. The Pegasus nodded. Morning noticed something strange about her eyes they went in opposite directions. "Was that from the crash?" Asked a concerned Morning story. "No it's just me." She replied as Morning story pulled her out of the tree.
"Thank you miss unicorn." Said the Pegasus.
"You're welcome uh.." Morning didn't want to call her "miss Pegasus" It seemed rude to call her that. "Oh my name is um... Oh yeah My name is Derpy Hooves." "Nice meet you Derpy Hooves. I'm Morning Story." She said as she shook Derpy's hoof. "Would you like a muffin they're really good." Said Derpy as she was digging through her mail bag "Uh no thanks." Said Morning story. "Well more for me." Derpy said as she started eating the muffin. "Actually I was wondering if you could tell me where i am right now." "Are you time traveling pony doctor too and I have to teach you everything about this place?" "?+Um no I'm just lost and would like to know where I am." Morning replied. "Oh that's an easy one you're in... Wait where did I last land..." Derpy Hooves stared at her half eaten Muffin. "Oh yeah you're in Ponybllm". Morning couldn't understand her because Derpy's mouth was full. Morning waited till she was done and then asked again. It was almost like the meeting with the stallion and Morning wondered if Derpy would actually tell her where she was. "Could you tell me now?" "Um tell you what." Derpy said in happy and confused tone. "Sigh never mind" and Morning left.
"Sigh is there any pony who could tell me where I am." Morning walked around while poking her hoof at the ground. She was growing more and more impatient so far no pony was able to help her. All she needed was some pony to answer simply where she was then maybe provide money for the train to Canterlot.
All the sudden Morning story started hearing this really loud Music. Vinyl Scratch or as most ponies call her DJ PON-3 was doing a street performance for a crowd of music loving ponies. "Ah DJ PON-3 I'm sure she can tell me where I am." "Excuse me." Morning yelled. But her voice was muffled by the music. "Excuse me DJ PON-3!" Again Morning Story's voice was muffled by the music. Finally with a sigh Morning tapped Vinyl Scratch's side with her hoof. Vinyl turned off the music. "Um hi DJ PON-3 I'm sorry to bother you I'm kind of lost and would really like to know where I am." "Oh I thought you were here to make a request." "Nope I've been asking the same question for last hundred paragraphs in this story." Morning said annoyed. "Well you're in Ponyville." Vinyl scratch answered. "Ponyville?" Isn't that the really small town that's just on the outskirts of Canterlot. Yep this is the place Vinyl Scratch replied. "All I need to do is go back to the train station and get to Canterlot. I'll be a little late but doesn't mater." Morning was overjoyed. "Everything was going to be alright now" She thought. "Oh thankyou DJ PON-3 Morning Story said as she hugged her. "No problem." DJ PON-3 replied, "but please call me Vinyl Scratch." "Okay thank you again Vinyl Scratch."
Morning ran quickly to the train station as fast as her hooves could carry her. She checked her bag to see if she had enough money for the fare. She then went inside the train station. Morning saw that the line boarding Canterlot was empty. "That's weird you'd figure that this line would be packed." Morning thought to herself. Then Morning noticed a sign near the entrance of the Canterlot train station. "All trains to Canterlot are canceled due to Pegasus crash that destroyed the station.We will have the trains running in 3-4 days." "Aw...." "Why has my luck been so awful today?" Morning Story thought to herself. When she thought her luck was getting better it seemed to good to be true and she was right. "Well I'll just stay here for four days, I'll be alright." "But wait." Morning thought. "I don't have that much money and there aren't any hotels in this town." "What should I do!?" "Maybe I'll just ask some pony to let me stay at their home for a few days." Morning was walking around in Ponyville, but she was too shy to ask any pony. She felt it would be awkward to go up to some pony and then say "Hello can I stay at your house for three or four days?"
Morning Story was tired She decided to take a nap in an apple orchird she found. "I'll just rest here a for a couple minutes." Morning thought. "I won't take long." Morning didn't realize how tired she was and her couple minute nap turned into a couple hour nap. Meanwhile the apple family was tending to their orchard which Morning story just so happened to be sleeping in.Young Applebloom who was carrying apples over to the house noticed the strange pony who was sleeping in the middle of the apple orchird. "What the hay!?" Applebloom exclaimed. "Applebloom you know yer not old enough to use that kind of language." Said her big sister Applejack. "But sis." "No buts now go bring those apples back to the barn." Applejack listen theres a strange pony sleepin' in our orchard." Applejack looked over where Applebloom was pointing. "What the hay?" "Told ya sis·"As they stared at the strange pony Big Macintosh soon headed over to see what all the commotion was about. Big Mac stared at the looked at Morning awkwardly as if he knew her. "Big Mac do you know her?" Applejack asked. "Yeah do ya Big Mac?" Applebloom chimed. "Eeeeeyup." Said Macintosh in an awkward fashion. "Uh Do you know her know her?" Said Applejack. "Yeah do ya Big Maubmm." Applejack who was kind of annoyed with Applebloom constantly chiming in put her hoof on Applebloom's mouth to keep her quiet while she was trying to get an answer from her brother. "Noooope." Big Mac replied.
"Excuse me" Applejack said in a kind voice. "Woah!" I'm so sorry I only mean't to be here for a few minutes." Said Morning Story "I wasn't.." "Woah there hold yer horses." said Applejack. "We were just wonderin' what you were doing in our orchard." Morning sighed "It's been a long day". "A very long day." Morning Story's gaze drifted away from Applejack as she said this. She had a terrible day and just thinking about it made her feel awful. "Uh miss are you awright." Morning Story broke out of her daze. "Yeah of coarse." Morning replied. She tried her best to sound cheerful and confident, but she didn't do a very good job, Applejack saw through her fake smile. "Okay, I don't mean to pry or anythin' but what's eatin' you?" "Nothing ,okay." "I'll just be sleeping outside for a few days I should be fine." Morning muttered to herself. "Uh what did you say I couldn't here ya." "Do you really want to know what's going on?" " Uh that's what I've been askin' ya." Applejack replied. Morning Story looked around the orchard while poking the ground with her hoof. So Morning finally told Applejack about the lousy day she had. "Well if ya don't have a place to stay I'll let ya stay in the barn." I know it ain't much but it'll do for a few days." "That sounds great actually said Morning with joy. Morning hugged Applejack but then realized the sudden awkwardness it had brought. "Well that brightened you up quick." Said Applejack.'Why don't you take yer bags and settle in the barn while I bring a few pillows and blankets." "Sounds great." said Morning excitedly.
So Morning Story took her things in the barn and waited for Applejack. A few minutes later she heard the creak of the barn door being open. "Oh hey I just wanted to thank you again for..." Morning suddenly turned her gaze on the pony. It wasn't Applejack. "APPLEJACK DIDN'T TELL ME THERE WOULD BE A SURPRISE PONY AT THE PARTY!" She yelled. I'm actullay not supposed to be..." "Are you supposed to be a secret I'm good at secrets!"
