Chapter 3: The Other Elements

Current location: Canterlot Castle the royal throne room

Alucard was summoned by Princess Luna to retell his encounter in the forest where he saved Twilight from the pony cultists. Luna had sent a message to all of the elements of harmony to report to the castle for formal introductions and an update on pony cult activity. The elements arrived by train shortly thereafter. Pinkie being excited that she could make a new friend bounced her way into the throne room swiftly followed by the rest of the elements. The throne room was illuminated by the sun streaming through the large windows as Princess Luna was sitting in her throne with Alucard in the shadows eyes glowing orange even in the darkness of the shadows. Pinkie noticed his eyes and stopped with a gasp freezing in his gaze. Pinkie’s eyes glowed orange as Alucard hypnotized the element of laughter so that he could calm her down noticing that she was very excitable. Princess Luna gave him a firm glare stopping him from hypnotizing the pony.

Alucard felt it was time to recall his story. He recounted the experience; he left a few details out, but overall was able to convey the correct that the cultists were becoming. Twilight had asked "Why are you so brutal?" Alucard replied "I was only doing as I was ordered to protect the elements of harmony and stop any cultist activity by any means necessary.” Twilight responded “What were they trying to do?" Alucard looked at the group of ponies and sighed. He readjusted his glasses before speaking again. "They are trying to resurrect an ancient evil; that would most likely destroy Equestria as we know it.” “Twilight did you notice any insignia on the robes or the shrine?” Luna asked wondering if there was a connection. “Yes, there were symbols; what I saw was similar to a pinwheel in shape.” Twilight stated after a moment of thought. Alucard mused over this information; the symbol cultists had on their robes resembled those used by the long lost Millennium organization. “This could be a problem.” Alucard thought after what had happened only a short while ago. “It seems that an old foe from my time has arisen once again.” Alucard said with conviction in his voice. “The organization known as Millennium was around during my time and not only had a similar insignia; but vowed to create a world of unending war!” the ponies looked at Alucard in shock not knowing if this would get any worse. “What would be the best course of action at this time?” Princess Luna asked calmly after hearing this explanation.

“I will go to the cultist’s lair and snuff out the problem. Absorbing this Trixie pony allowed me to gain her knowledge and abilities. There is no need to send guards with me; but I may need the elements of harmony in order to cleanse any of the ponies that are turned into ghouls by any vampire ponies that this group manages to conjure. Alucard explained
“I also think having a weapon forged for each of the elements so that if they are separated they can defend themselves would be advisable. You may model them after my weapons if you wish but I have an item that I would hate to waste if given to a proper wielder.” Alucard said
Alucard reached into a pocket in his coat and pulled out five rolls of wire. “This was from an old friend; he gave it to me as a parting gift; it is monofilament wire that is capable of cutting through anything if the wielder is skilled and strong enough.” Alucard said
Twilight wanted to try to use the wires “How are they wielded if you don’t want to cut yourself?” she asked tentatively

The selection process had begun weapons were forged to suit the Mane 6. A set of 45 caliber revolvers was forged for Rainbow. A rifled musket was forged for Rarity that fired magic rather than bullets. Fluttershy was forged a .25-06 caliber sniper rifle for cover fire against ghouls. Applejack was forged a double barreled shotgun to wipeout large swaths of ghouls. Pinkie had cannon forged for her that fired a 10 pound iron ball or chain shot. Twilight was allowed to practice with the monofilament wires that Alucard had given to her as her weapon of choice.
A training room was constructed to hone the Mane 6’s skills with their new weapons. Practice dummies were set up to gauge their accuracy and provide challenges for them to complete to advance to the next level off training.

Current location: Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters

The cultists had finished a prototype chip that was part of the master plan to overthrow the Princesses. The ritual idea had failed as there were too few tomes on the magic and Trixie was the only one that had the spell memorized; but had stumbled on a tome that contained the material list for a prototype chip and the chip’s uses. This cult cell had 5 ponies testing the chip by working on gathering locals so that they could quench their thirst for blood that came with being a vampire and test their new found powers. Currently the residents of a small town on the other side of Everfree forest were being taken by the gathering unit to establish a new base of operations and begin to amass an army.

A dark tome glowed in the library calling out to be used a random cultist opened it and ran to find the de facto leader showing him the book. “This should do nicely.” He said with a dark chuckle

Immediately work began on perfecting the chip to make the army unbeatable; unaware that the elements were building up their forces as well.
