Applebuck retribution.

Grand Vizier Trixie paid a visit to Ponyville in hopes to catch up with Twilight since they had not seen much of each-other after saving Celestia from her ascension to madness. She was already thinking of how awkward it would be; Spike clearly had hard feelings due to past issues. She asked Luna to borrow some of the finest Canterlot gems in the royal vault in hopes to earn respect from the baby dragon. Luna complied and granted her a massive ocean-blue gem larger then Spike’s head. Trixie almost let her ambition and confidence get a hold of her, but remembered she had to be subtle about such affairs.
Trixie sincerely hoped to make amendments with the ponies of Ponyville… Despite the residents who have been bowing in respect for being Grand Vizier to the princesses. Trixie wanted everypony to know she has changed. She admits she has a bit of a friendly rivalry with Twilight, they tend to get a tad competitive when it comes to magic.
Trixie pretty much earned her good graces with Rarity. Allowing Rarity to royally redesign her cape and hat was a joy for both ponies. Trixie loved the new look, and it was more fitting with her title. Rainbow Dash pretty much respects her now since with Creation’s help Trixie ACTUALLY slew an Ursa Major, therefor earning her bragging rights; contrary to bragging more she stays silent about the event. Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy are generally forgiving souls, so they were among the first to forgive Trixie. Twilight finally decided at Trixie’s somewhat humbled attitude to forgive her. Applejack on the other hand remained eerily silent, making Trixie worry more. She tries not to think about it too much, she is already working to redeem herself to the farmer anyway.
Trixie continued her way to Twilight’s library. Little did Trixie know giving her bodyguards the day off was a foolish mistake, likewise walking in the lowly alley ways in the night-time as a short-cut. A mysterious stranger dressed as a scarecrow was looming in the shadows. Gusts were heard every time the mysterious stalker passed though. Trixie got nervous of the reoccurring “whoosh” noise.
While Trixie noted Ponyville had no known criminals, she was no fool. It is dangerous to be alone at night, she sensed the irony of being alone in a dark alley. Trixie quickly rejected the thought and decided to run out of the alley, not wanting to face the stranger. Trixie heard a faint galloping sound echoing through the streets. It began to get louder, and closer. Louder. Closer. Louder. Closer. Closer. Closer.
Trixie began to panic, she ran faster! Suddenly, a rope was tossed at her, catching her by the legs. Trixie tripped and struggled for freedom, but suddenly she was approached by her stalker. It was Applejack, Trixie could not believe it! Trixie moaned with exasperation. “Miss Applejack, it’s surprising to meet you here, why have you tied me up, and, what’s with the costume?”
“Don’t try yer dang innocent act, Trixie,” applejack began to yell with frustration. “You may had gotten my friends, all of Equestria, even the Princesses to fall under your act, but y’all am not gonna convince me! Not until I know that you changed is the truth, and not just something to get to get things yer way!”
“Miss Applejack, please, I, I, I” Trixie tried to speak clearly though she huffed with a distinct stutter “I did changed! I promise I’ll make it up to you, I-”
Applejack began to pull on the rope, which caused the rope to tighten and cause rope burn! Trixie felt her skin burn and was about to scream when Applejack got another piece of rope and tied up her mouth. Applejack smugly grinned “There, now y’all can’t get someone to help you now. Now, where was ah. Hmm. Oh,” she chuckled with a dark edge in her voice, “silly me, I remember now, tying you up like the dang dirty rattler you are!”
Applejack resumed pulling the rope to tighten it. The rope burns get worse and the thick hemp began to cut off some of her circulation. Trixie’s screams were heavily muffed so they couldn’t be heard by the sleeping residents. Applejack tightened the rope again with violent force. The rope burns into Trixie’s skin, the friction pulls her fur and flesh removing the first few layers of skin and muscle. Blood trickles down her skin into the rope and across her thigh.
Applejack popped her neck and jerked the rope away from the wound. Removing the rope left nothing holding the blood in, and suddenly her blue flank was suddenly stained a deep red. Trixie’s pupils dilated, seeing her own blood coming down in a rain of red was terrifying. Applejack gazed intently and gave an uncharacteristically evil smile.
Applejack bucked the wound intensifying the pain to an excruciating high. Blood started coming out even faster than previously. “Why, just as I thought, you’re a bleeder, how nice.”
Trixie began to shake at those words. Applejack gave a matter-of-fact gaze and spoke confidently “Now, just one more thing before I could just, take y’all to sweet apple acres.” Applejack picked up a broken, rusty pipe, to use a blunt weapon. Trixie tried to shake her head, as she was begging to say no, but couldn’t because the rope bonded her into a helpless position. Applejack said with cruelty: “Nighty-night, pumpkin.” Applejack lifted her hooves and hit Trixie with full force. She was losing consciousness and applejack had accidentally tore a hole of flesh in her skull which began bleeding aggressively.
Applejack was filled with anger and suppressed a hateful yell that would have exposed her. So murmuring to herself she tied a spare bandana over the injury “how dare she give out on me like that, how dare she bleed on me.” Trixie saw the face of Applejack fade back under a mask, and she felt the beginning of being tugged away before passing out.
Trixie regained consciousness, disoriented and confused. She found herself tied to the wall in an apple cellar. She took into view the brander placed on the table. The front of this special brander read: “Redeemable to Applejack.” Trixie took note of the other various farm tools: a rake, pliers, hedge clippers, a saw, a hammer, nails, a bucket of hot bolts, a chainsaw, a whip, and finally, what appears to be a cage with some rapid looking animal in it.
Trixie looked around, taking note of the words above the front entrance to the room. It read: “Applejack’s Retribution area.” Trixie couldn’t help but worry, is this how Applejack finds ponies redeemable or not? Is this some sort of sick twisted family tradition? And most of all, how many were treated like this before her? She heard clopping coming from the same direction of the writing. Trixie was shaking in fear. Suddenly, the door opens to reveal Applejack, with an evil smile, wearing an apron dried with blood. Trixie was in a state of total fear. Applejack had been doing this for a while!
Applejack whispered slowly to Trixie to let her soak up every painful little fact, one by one. “You like my private office? It’s where I get retribution on the ponies that wrong me and my friends. Ahh, I remember when I first used it on those bullies of Rainbow Dash. Cut them up real good-like. Wasn’t hard to dispose of the bodies, ya know, I just chopped them up with my pa’s ol’ reliable chainsaw, then grounded them up, processed them with the machine being held in the barn, then give them to Fluttershy to feed the carnivore critters of hers.”
Trixie made a horrified gasp to Applejacks pleasure. “Don’t worry; Fluttershy ain’t in on the whole thing. Don’t think she’ll support getting retribution like this; she is totally against killing living things, the darn softie. Now, let’s ‘Cut’ to the chase!”
Trixie panicked, her horn glowed wildly. Applejack quickly picked up the saw and urgently said while sawing “Thank you fur reminding me about the Unicorn horn!” Applejack grabbed Trixie’s horn, pulled the horn closer to her, and then sawed more vigorously.
Slowly carotene, cartilage, skin, muscle, all ripped through in such little time. Applejack was humming as she was doing this, taking almost a sadistic love for Trixie’s torture. A mangled stub of flesh remained and Applejack carefully set the horn on the ground beside her. Blood was seeping through the edges of Trixie’s wound, nerves were rampantly sending pain signals. Trixie screamed in agonized horror as this was happening.
Applejack took a small mallet and pick telling Trixie of the pain to come. “I have to work further, you see, there is still a small capability of magic in that little stub of a horn!”
Taking the pick she placed it on the base of bone that once held the horn and tapped with careful force. Slowly the bits of bone shattered and the fragments removed. Blood began to pour our faster and Applejack tied off Trixie’s forehead with a method alike that of a turner kit. “Keep you alive and full ‘o blood! So you can enjoy the pain of it all.”
Applejack looked at the discarded horn and bone fragments and laughed. She said: “So much for the great and powerful Trixie.” Applejack placed the intact portion of the horn on her nose! Applejack taunted “Look! I’m a rhino!” Trixie was tearing up, first kidnapped, injured, and now taunting? Trixie never expected this when becoming Grand Vizier! Applejack tossed the horn aside once more.
“Now, to the real fun to ‘rake’ in.” Applejack picked up the rake, and position it on Trixie’s exposed belly.
Trixie begged for mercy, tears running down her eyes dried blood encasing her legs and forehead, “No! Please! Why are you doing this?”
“Cause y’all tied me up on the stage in front of everypony and made me look like a darn fool! Now I’m getting even!”
Trixie still cried mortified, “Please! I promise I’ll make it up to you!”
“Stop groveling, besides, you are making it up to me Trixie…” Applejack began to pull the rake across Trixie’s delicate belly. The refined tips of the rake dig into her skin that covered her ribs. On its descent the rake opens the hollowed area in her chest. Veins begin to pour blood on the ground, down her tail, her legs. A massive quantity of the sticky red liquid slowly began to dry. The muscles torn apart cramp and faintly expose the organs when the blood clears. Trixie gargles and yells in pain. Applejack continued to rake until chunks of shredded flesh are pulling apart.
She stopped. Trixie was barely breathing, Applejack made great wounds on her belly. Trixie spoke now sure she may die any moment. “Applejack…. Please, I’m, I’m sorry for humiliating you, I was, terrible back then. Believe me; Creation changed me, made me better. I, I seek redemption now. Whatever you thought I was doing, well, it’s not I am doing! In fact, I did great deeds! I helped put Manehatten back together when Mother Mare Nature accidently released that Tree monster. But, also, remember that my ancestor was there for Celestia long ago, the only one she trusted back then. Please, I know I disgraced my bloodline, but, I am redeeming it now! Look, I’m sorry for everything.”
Applejack only stood there, she didn’t think her victim was going to want redemption this quick. Applejack almost felt ashamed for the ritual. Applejack cautioned “That’s all I needed to hear. Just one more thing before I let y’all go.” She picks up the brander! Trixie gasped in horror. Applejack walked towards a boiler Trixie didn’t see. Applejack turned the boiler on, and placed the Brander’s head inside the Boiler mouth. Trixie was so panic stricken her heart raced on, and the adrenalin kept her alive. Applejack pulled the Brander head out, steaming hot. Applejack began to move ominously towards Trixie with newly steamed Brander.
Trixie whined and sobbed “But, I said sorry! Please!”
Applejack laughed cruelly “Don’t worry, this how I know when a Pony becomes redeemable, they have the neatest little brand that reads, ‘Redeemable to Applejack,’ that way, I’ll know y’all ain’t a trouble maker anymore! Hold still Trixie, this might burn a bit.”
Applejack slunk towards Trixie’s left flank and targeted her left Cutie mark. Trixie was in a state of shock. Applejack placed the steaming brander head on Trixie. She struggled to refrain from screaming, holding her breath. It felt like an eternity, but it was over in a second. The words ‘Redeemable to Applejack’ were burned on her flank.
Applejack gave a remorseful look, realizing her sins. Applejack took off her hat and scuffed her feet beginning to apologize. “I’m sorry for what occurred, Grand Vizier Trixie. All I really wanted was to make sure you weren’t up to something. I wasn’t gonna kill you, I never killed any pony. I really didn’t kill those bullies of Rainbow dash, or did that stuff to them, they wanted the same thing, so, I did was branded them, and have Big Macintosh to take them to the Hospital, and told them they were attacked by Timber wolfs. The stories weren’t believable, and they were forced to tell the truth. In fact, this here violates my special probation from the Princess. If she hears this, and I know you won’t lie to Celestia, so I ain’t gonna ask you, it’s the stony lonesome for me.”
Trixie said, smiling weakly in pain “I might get Luna to stand up in your case, and, I’ll try to convince Celestia to let you off with a fair warning. In exchange for getting me to the hospital to have my wounds treated.”
Applejack replied with a relived heavy breath “Sounds like a deal to me.”
Applejack cauterized the wounds lightly, even though it hurt terribly for Trixie it was needed for her belly. Then she sanitized the other two wounds with warm water and wrapped them softly. Leaning on Applejack, Trixie had walked off limping to receive proper care.
Later, at Canterlot hospital…
Trixie was in bed, her horn surgically attached back on her head, covered in huge bandage tape. Her belly was locked in a thick cast which would remain for a month. The flank of her legs were tied in gauze and the tips of her legs where she was dragged by ropes wrapped and comported by ice. On her head where that rusty pipe hit her was tightly sealed neatly wrapped so not to disturb the healing of her horn.
Twilight was at the feet of the bed, feeling sorrow for Trixie. Twilight consoled “I’m sorry for what Applejack did. It was incredibly nice of you to convince Celestia to let Applejack off with a warning, and to get Luna to be at her side. Well, I mean yes, Applejack still went to jail, but, you at least spared her from whatever worse punishment the princess intended. I am in talks with her to send Applejack to a mental housing to help her though her issues, and also, maybe some anger management classes.”
“Well, it will be while before I could use magic again without getting a hasty headache from it… And I suppose I’ll have a deep fear of rakes for the rest of my life!” Trixie tried to keep the mood somewhat lightened up. “And I have to stay here because of the other wounds. They insisted on letting a powerful medical Unicorn check on the brand mark. but won’t Applejack-”she was abruptly cut off by twilight.
“She’ll get over it, like she did when the same thing happen to Rainbow Dash’s bullies, she knows she doesn’t really need a brand that tells her they’re redeemable, she’ll know that herself from one’s good heart.”
“I am worried, though, won’t she end up doing it again? To somepony else?”
Twilight shook her head “The guards compensated all her tools and the creature in that cage, even that Brander. Applejack will be made to promise not to do it again with any more similar tools.”
“Thanks.”
Twilight walked off towards the door and turned. “Oh, by the way, Spike loved the gem you got for him. But he said you didn’t have to. I already got him to stop hating you. He was mostly neutral ‘till he got that gem! In fact, he is starting to deny you ever wronged Ponyville; he was like, ‘Trixie? Causing trouble? NO WAY!’” Twilight laughed reflecting back on spike’s reaction. “Anyway, get well soon, and here’s to hoping we meet again under better circumstances.” Twilight slowly walked out the door lost in thought.
Although Trixie regretted the pain she was happy for she was again on the right hoof with applejack.
