3rd Person , By the wonderful Shadow Brony and Dark Rabbit

As the human know as Rabbit wakes up in a back alley in a daze.

"What thah fuck did ah do last night?" he asked no one in particular, taking a step his boot hits something nearly making him fall.

"Wha?" Bending down and grabbing a black duffel bag with a note attached.

'Dear whomever this may concern,You have been sent to a world known as Equestria.Your purpose here is whatever you make of it, good luck.'

" *sigh* Well shoot...might as well see what ah got." he then began to rummage through the contents to find...

"MAH NECKLACE....AND COWBOY HAT....AND MAH SAX...AND....mah bowie knife?" *scratches head* "Why would ah need mah bowie fer?"

He simply shrugs it off and straps his new gear on him heads out of the alley into a vast city of lights signs and...casinos?

"Wait...Vegas?" he again asks no one "Ah thought ah was in Equestria?"

Shadow, while curious about the note and duffel bag containing his phone, Chuck Norris fact book, football, and heirloom Colt Model 1917 revolver passed down since his great grandfather back in WWI, he was even more curious as to why he was in a city similar to Vegas, except filled with ponies.

"Fuck it." Shadow thought. "Even if I'm dreaming, it's Vegas." He decided as he headed towards one of the casinos.

"Gamblin' time!" he then heads to the nearest casino forgetting he had no money.

"Wait, what the hell are these coins in my wallet?" He said as he pulled out one golden coin.

"Is that...real gold? Hmm, maybe it's the currency here. That'd explain why all of my cash is gone."

un-aware of all the stares rabbit simply keeps on moving towards any casino near him until he stops.

"Wait...money....do ah have any? he checks for his money only to find gold coins. "oh this'll do."

He then heads into the casino named "Equestrian's 13"

"Equestrian's 13, eh?" Shadow said as he walked up to the casino.

He walked inside, and instantly got stared at by the ponies who weren't wasted out of their minds. A big pony with a security uniform walked over to him, but didn't say anything.

"Uhh, hey there. This where I can do some gambling?" Shadow asked.

The security pony stared for a few more moments before slowly nodding.

Shadow smiled. "Great!" He said before walking over to the poker tables

Rabbit went to a random poker table and was getting ready for a few rounds still oblivious to the stares.

Another figure sat down and when he looked up he saw another person...then he noticed all the ponies.

"Oh..."

was all he said before the game began.

Shadow couldn't help but snicker to himself as the person apparently just realized he was surrounded by ponies.

"Looks like both the literal and metaphoric hands are being dealt." Shadow thought to himself.

Shadow smiled. "It looks like you're out of place in more than one way then, eh? Alright then, how about we discuss a few things over at the slots? You know how to operate one of those, right?" He finished in a sarcastic tone.

"fold."

he gets up and walks to the slots

"Fold. So do you have any idea what the hell is going on?" Shadow asked as he headed towards the slots with the only human he can see in the place.

"Yew're askin' the fella who didn't know how tah play poker." Rabbit told him with incredulous look.

"But ah did find this note." He hands the stranger the note. "Oh by the way, name's Randle but call me Rabbit." putting out another genuine smile.

"Hunter, my friends call me Shadow." Shadow said, sticking his hand out for a shake.

*shakes hand* "So yeah, apparently we are s'pposed to head to a place named Ponyville and tah do that we'll need a map and somebody tah tell us where we are." they reach the machines and both sit.

"Any ideas?"

"Well I guess we should ask one of the ponies for directions. You pulled me away from my poker table, so I'll let you go do that." Shadow replied

"Yokay..." Rabbit gets up and chooses a random pony.The pony he chose was a chocolate colored mare with tan braided hair and tail with an odd tattoo of a chocolate mocha. "Uhmm s'cuse me miss, but do you know where i could find me a map?"

The mare just stares with a slight nervous view and he notices this.

"Oh, sorry if ah scared ya miss but ya see, ah've been lost for a good while and ah have no clue of where ah'm at in Equestria."

Her features softened a little at this.

"Oh you poor dear, well you're currently in Las pegasus, south of Apploosa and southwest from ponyville." she then pulls out a map from hammerspace? "Here is a map of the surrounding area including Apploosa." she said Hoofing(?) him the map and as soon as he put up the map the excitement and happiness couldn't be held back any longer. He then scooped up the mare is a big hug causing her to start blushing madly.

"OH thankyewthankyewthankyew sooo much miss, ah won't never ferget this ever fer as long as ah liuv!" he exclaimed as the happiness boosted his accent to near hick levels."Ah fergot , what's yer name?"

"I-i'm C-chocolate M-malt." she stuttered through her blush

"Whelp Miss Malt, thankyew so very much." He then planted a big ol kiss on her cheek making her blush ten times worse. Putting the now flustered mare down and jogging back to shadow.

"lookie there, a little white lie, a bunch of charm and we are set." he spoke giving the map to shadow and giving a wink to the same chocolate mare turning her face a complete cherry red.

Shadow laughed. "Alright, props to you for that. I was hoping I could spend some time here, but I guess that can wait." Shadow said as he got off of his stool.

Shadow and Rabbit exited the casino, and Shadow spoke. "Mind if I see that map for a sec?"

Rabbit nodded and handed Shadow the map. "Alright, so here we are in Las Pegasus, and we need to get to that place known as Ponyville. Looking at the scale, I'd say that's about a two day journey. Guess we better stock up on some supplies then."

"well you can do that cuz i got the map and directions, i'll be over here with mah sax." He walks to a random area and begins to play his sax cycling between blues and jazz.

Shadow sighed. "Alright, I'll be right back." He said before walking off and leaving Rabbit to his sax.

"He's not bad, but not my cup of tea." Shadow thought to himself as he looked for a convenient store, or something similar to it.

He eventually came across a store, and walked inside. He got the expected stares, but shrugged them off as he grabbed a basket. He walked through the aisles, and picked up a lot of water, some trail mix, and other various snacks. "Rabbit's gonna owe me for this." Shadow thought aloud as he thought about the cost.

He walked up to the register, and set the basket down while putting on the friendliest smile he could muster in order to calm down the shaking blue mare behind the desk.

"I-is th-that it for y-you, s-s-sir?"

"Yeah, this is everything I guess."

"A-alright." She said as she began to tap her register.

"You can relax you know, I'm not going to eat you or anything. That's what I have the trail mix for."

She actually seemed to relax a bit, and spoke. "Well, that's sixty-four bits."

Shadow pulled out his wallet, and got a coin marked '50', and a coin marked '20'. He handed them to her, and she prepared to get the change.

He held up his hand. "Don't worry about the change, consider it an apology if I scared you before."

She smiled. "Thank you sir!"

Shadow nodded to her, and picked up the supplies. After trying to figure out where he was, he finally found his way back to Rabbit, who had apparently drawn a crowd in his absence. "Oh boy..."

'I think Shadow ain't that bad a feller, atleast he's company for the time bein.' Rabbit came out thought process to see a small crowd had formed from his playing.

"Well then, how are ya'll doin' today?" he got a few murmurs of 'ok' and 'fine'.

He nods his head "okay then, how about i play for ya'll?"

The crowd got louder at this and that's all he needed.

He started low then slowly rose into a stable note, suddenly braking off into a riff of sorts and started One by Metallica....with a sax. Since this was new to the ponies they just listened with awe as he went through each riff with ease.

by 3 minutes in Rabbit had tipped his hat off to the ground in which it was now being slowly filled with coins marked with 1's, 5's, and the occasional 10

soon the song began to pick up and sound more rock than jazz with a sax but still held that energetic feel.Now he was really lost to reality and he hit the first solo blazing through it like nothing. All the ponies watched in awe as the strange creature in front of them played with such speed that would put some fiddlers to shame.

then the breakdown hit and it went like a breeze soon coming to an end.Playing the last note Rabbit stopped and the crowd was silent for about a second before busting into a full-blown cheer, not to mention the crowd had gotten huge while he played.

looking around the crowd for a minute he spotted shadow heading back towards him. "Thank you all for listenin' and bein' generous, but that's goin' to be mah last so have a nice day now." he then waved them away as shadow finally got to him through all the ponies.

Rabbit lifted the cowboy hat and showed the contents, lots and LOTS of bits filled it to the brim and then some."looks like we're set for a good while." all the while he pulled out handfuls to give to Shadow. "That's for whatever you bought for us since you used your own money."
