12 years ago Luna escaped from her lunar prison, but she made up with her sister and took back her place next to Celestia, and all was well. Equestria hasn't had a war in hundreds of years. But this time, the war that breaks that peace streak may be a civil one. The New Lunar Republic (Lunites) are the followers of Princess Luna, hoping to restore some life to the night, or maybe just to cause havoc and spite the order. Either way, something is going to give, and Equestria is in a very, very, bad spot.

Our story follows Silver Bullet, a gunsmith mare who's business has been flourishing due to the increase in tensions between the two sides of Ponyville. When the war begins and all hell breaks loose, Silver is left with no choice other than to flee and try to survive with the help of an unexpected new ally, the first she's had in a long time.
