The Escape of The Darkness

High above, in a realm of pure light, a being was watching events unfold

"Did you really think I didn't plan for this?, did you think I was that stupid?" The angelus said

"Or that I wasn't watching your little escape? She said in an irritated tone

The angelus proceeded to rise from her throne of light, and walk towards a glowing orb. Within the orb showed the host talking with pastel-colored equines, evidently ranting to the darkness. She ran a hand over the orb slowly before saying,

"While I cannot leave this world so soon, I have other proxies that I can send to destroy  you"

"Melphius!" she called, as a hooded and angel-like being appeared in a flash of light "Dispose of him"

"Yes my mistress" Melphius said in a calm tone, disappearing the same way he had appeared.

The angelus then turned and sat back down on her throne, pondering her options should he fail. She then cracked a smile before saying

"Always one step ahead for you" she said,chuckling "but always two for me"
