The Escape of The Darkness

A small clearing deep within the mountains of the Griffon kingdom, far to the north of Equestria at rest during the night. Crickets chirp and nocturnal animals prowl about. A sense of stillness and calm fills the cool night air. This is not to last however, as an unnatural light starts to crackle into existence.

An orb of blinding white light appears in a flash and begins to glow brighter and spark louder. Animals run in fear and the grass ignites from the sheer heat. Finally, a winged figure emerges from the rip in space and the light fades to the black once more.

The seraph looks toward the horizon and feels the unmistakable presence of the Darkness, and scowls.
