Part 2: The Challenge

Rainbow Dash groaned as she franticly tried to get the young filly’s under control. This was not her idea of fun. She zipped around the house, nearly knocking over a vase. ‎"Scoot, put that do-, Sweetie please put.... UGHH!" Rainbow Dash said in an infuriated tone. She was babysitting the Cutie Mark Crusaders for she thought it was an easy task, but she soon realized (like Flutter shy) that it was indeed an incredibly hard task. She looked at Flutter Shy and cleared her throat, indicating that she needed help. Scoots paid no mind to the Rainbow manned pony, she was too busy fooling around with the other crusaders. She was laughing, giggling, and having just a general good time. Flutter Shy cleared her throat easily and called out in her usual quiet and small voice, "girls?” The girls looked to each other, then dropped what they were doing to turn and face Flutter shy with the most angelic of grins. Scoots spoke up first from among them. "Yes, Flutter Shy?" Flutter Shy looked at Rainbow Dash's opened mouth and grinned. She liked to see Rainbow dash like this; It made her feel superior. It was even more fun to her when Rainbow asked. "How did you do that?" Flutter shy grinned even more broadly then ever and said simply "long story." Rainbow shrugged and sat on the couch upbeat. She had been chasing these three energy filled fillies all day only to find out that Flutter shy, the quietest and calm pony of all, could simply sit them all down calmly with one small word. "Now girls, I need you to listen to Rainbow Dash now, she is another pony right?"

The three nodded their heads with Sweetie belle speaking up next. "Got it, we'll be good for her!" She grinned to the other two and then they both looked back to Dash and Shy. Flutter shy Grinned happily and said. "Now, it's time for you all to go to bed. The three bravest fillies I know need the most sleep after all." Rainbow Dash snorted and said quietly in a challenging tone. "Not as brave as me I bet." Scoots immediately spoke up in protest. "Nuh-uh! We crusaders could go in the Everfree for days and still be okay! Just watch!" The two others looked to Scoots as if she was crazy, but then, as the thought settled, the agreed. "Yeah!" Rainbow Dash Rainbow smiled, she liked a good challenge. "Very well!" she said "We will all go to the Everfree forest. Whoever can go in further is the bravest one." Flutter shy looked at them all as if they were crazy. "But Girls... you can't possibly want to go-" "Now, now Flutter Shy, they have to listen to me too right?" Rainbow interrupted. Rainbow Dash looked the Crusaders in the eyes grinning for she thought that this challenge was going to be easy as pie.
‎"She's only one pony, we're a team!" Sweetie put in. "We'll outlast 'er!" Applebloom added. "Challenge accepted!" Scootaloo finally said. The three took a step forward and kept their chests held high. "Alright," Rainbow Dash held out a hoof as Flutter Shy gave up. She knew that nopony in all of Equestria could convince Rainbow Dash to step out of a competition.
The three Crusaders held out their hooves and all three shook at once with Dash. "You're on!" Scoots said, a large grin on her face. Then Scoots looked to the other two crusaders. "We might even get our cutie marks!"
