War, we were now at war brought on by none other than the N.C.E, and their failure to see reason in what they had done. I now had 3 of them on the train bound and shackled prisoners of the battle that had just taken place. Former friends at that, which is what made this so heart breaking to all of us. "YOUR LEADER WAS CARELES, AND IT COST THE LIVES OF QUITE A FEW TODAY, YOU KNOW THAT RIGHT. FUCK YOUR ORDERS, AND FUCK THE N.C.E, WE WILL CARRY ON OUR MISSION, AND YOU WILL BE DELT WITH SOON ENOUGH!" I barked at the prisoners, taking into account that I had just lost 4 of my own I allowed those who were related to any pony lost a respite from duty for the rest of the day meaning they could rest, and mourn in their own way. I was their leader and they needed this, Harmony had taken a round to the flank almost obliterating the place her cutie mark would one day be and was getting looked at by the medical team.

I knew what this would mean for all of Equestria, and the far reaching effects it would soon have, however I had no since of guilt what so ever, why should I have, it was after all the fault of the N.C.E. and in my eyes Celestia herself. She had created her own military and knew exactly what it would mean after all. We also still faced the threat of the E.L.F, if only a shadow of its former self, they had proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were not above using nuclear capabilities, and to astounding effect I may add. In other words Equestria was about to face a war unlike any previous, and it would chose the absolute ruler of the land through military might and leadership. In other words, the revolution was about to be born. It would start almost that exact same day unknown to any of us with the defacing of several Celestia posters in Canterlot along with fires being set in the courtyard of the castle. I however was too concerned with the task at hoof to worry about any of it right now; I had to figure out how I along with my entire group of ponies was going to walk into a land controlled by griffons, and explain to them just what we were doing there. "An easy enough task" I said to myself with a chuckle.

As we continued on our way to the city I had a chat with one of our prisoners, unlike the major I had no intent on having these ponies join my ranks. They had opened fire on us without warning after all, and I wanted to see just what the N.L.R had in store for those opposing us. "I am sorry for your losses, but you have to understand we were under orders by Celestia herself to actively hunt you down, something about Stable Tech I don't know, but it was an order" "IT WAS AN ORDER, AN ORDER! WHAT THE FUCK? I know we are enemies of Stable Tech, but what does this have to do with pegasi of the Ponyville air defense wing, and mercenaries?" "I don't know honestly I have no clue, in fact it was almost as if the minute you went and joined the N.L.R Celestia knew it and handed down the order for your execution. Our commander even tried to talk her out of it, knowing that it would devastate the major, but she got an evil look on her face and had the order expedited almost knowing what it would do to him. Kind of twisted if you ask me, I wasn't even supposed to go on the mission but at the last minute one of the others got sick, it happened to be our top sniper from her very own protection detail. As if that is not odd enough, we weren’t even talking directly to her, rather a monitor with her on the other end goddesses only knows where from. Look, i know you don't have any reason to believe me and I don't blame you, but to be honest i have been talking to Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo, along with the other members of the E.C.I.A, and i have to tell you, if i knew half the stuff i now know back when i joined the N.C.E, i would have joined the N.L.R instead."

At that I looked at the other so called prisoners, and thought back to what Buckshot had told me, knowing that I would one day get a chance to prove I had indeed learned from the major, and smiled at them. "Let’s keep chatting, and I’ll have some pony come and unlock your shackles ok, welcome to the N.L.R" Their eyes all lit up at this and we continued talking about all that they knew and were willing to share. It was indeed a lot to take in, as it turned out Celestia hadn't been seen since the beginning of all of this, and her sister was in fact making trips out of her base to regulate hostilities between fighting factions of raiders, and other new threats offering them a cause in which to stand behind, she was building a new Equestria in fact, an almost unified one at that. She had no care as to whether or not you were loyal to her sister, or her, instead she sought to pacify even the raiders of Blood Flank but they had no part of it and would go on to be the start of things to come in the future of Euestria, almost a dark wound that refused to close, spreading like wildfire. Their future generations would plague the wastes of Equestria as the world around became no better.

Luna was in fact looking to take the throne for herself, and she would do so at the cost of no pony if she could, she already had such a huge following throughout the land as it was that ponies would basically drop what they were doing and join her no questions asked. Whereas her sister was willing to put lives in danger just to support her rule, which is what ultimately would lead to open rebellion in the streets of Equestria, and the N.C.E becoming a force to be feared.
