Sun Chasers

"Hurry up!" Twilight said screeching across the halls of the Canterlot Palace.

"Alright sis! I'm coming!" Shining Armor replied.

The palace was warm and festive for it was the night of the Grand Galloping Gala, though our heroes would not be attending. Shining Armor would be helping Twilight with an experiment of cross dimensional transportation. They entered the main hall were the Gala was taking place. Little did they know, they were being watched. The figure who stood upon the balconies of the main hall stood there staring at them like a hawk gazing at his prey, waiting for an opening to attack. he moved along with them as the exited and followed them, ever so quietly, to the train station. Shining Armor and Twilight Sparkle got aboard the train. The dark shadowy figure stood atop of the roof, swooped down to the back of the train. The train martial went to the caboose to investigate and got a knife stuck inside his head. The knife pierced through his head all the way to the back, surely he was dead.

"I can't wait brother! It's going to be so cool going into other dimensions!" Twilight said excited enough to flip a table

"Calm down little sis, wait until we get to Ponyville to flip out!"

I wonder what I could be like in another dimension! Maybe i'm the king of Equestria and ruler of all the land!

Shining Armor was thinking about being a muscular king with the power to destroy foes with a single blow. The Shadowy figure sat right across from them, His hood was down, and suspicion arose.

The train had finally arrived in Ponyville. All of the ponies rushed out of the train. It was the perfect cover for the Hooded Colt. He rushed through the crowd like an instant and beat the brother and sister to their house. Inside the house he had found what he was looking for! The Eternial Crystal! The Eternial Crystal could shift reality to any state or shape, even to create a knew dimension. Discord's evil power was locked away inside, creating the perfect weapon of chaos. Spike awoke from his sleep.

"Huh? wh-Who's there?" He said

The Hooded Colt knew that fear was in his heart and would be too easy to kill. He kicked spike into the book-shelf and killed him. The books fell and crushed spike under a pile of knowledge. He jumped out the window, not caring the damage he had done and rushed away into the Everfree forest. Twilight entered her house and found her crystal was gone, and the lifeless husk of Spike.

"SPIKE!"

Twilight ran over to him and checked to see if he was alive

"He-He's dead.." Twilight said as she was sobbing over Spike

"Wh-what? He can't be!"

Shining Armor ran over to Twilight and embraced her as she was crying uncontrollably.

"It's okay, It's okay we'll be fi-"

"NO WE WON'T! SPIKE WAS JUST A BABY! HE NEVER EXPERIENCED THE TREASURES OF LIFE! IT WAS HIS BIRTHDAY TOMORROW! NOW LOOK! HE CAN'T EVEN CELEBRATE HIS BIRTHDAY!PEOPLE LOVED HIM! AND NOW HE CAN'T GIVE LOVE BACK ANYMORE! Oh Celestia...WHY!".

"No one takes a life on my watch." Shining armor said, with vengeance in his eyes.

Shining Armor ran outside and traced the villains hoof prints.

There in the abandoned castle of Pony Sisters he stood. He let down the crystal next to some others and they began to shine. Their beauty turned to chaos in a mere millisecond as the green crystals turned to a dark evil red. Winds of incredible force began to blow, bolts of lighting struck from the dark heavens, and the Earth shook in fear. Shining Armor sat and watched in Anger, Sadness, and pure unadulterated fear. Then, a cold mist engulfed Equestria. Tempratures Dropped, Ponies froze and the Mystery Colt Rose into the sky and exploded into a fiery ball of chaos. Shining Armor flew into the air and landed flat on his back and was set unconscious by the impact.
