CH 1 a shy welcome

NightBlaze is a silver-coated Male Pegasus pony with a black mane, a red-black tail, and a black cloak that was torn up during his time fending for him self or fights with others. This story begins on the out skirts of Ponyville near Fluttershy’s cottage. The Pegasus has been wondering around aimlessly for weeks with out food, shelter and it nearly freezing in the cold windy air. This is when the story begins.

After many days of wondering. Nightblaze, tired, weak and ill, slowly made his way across a grass field. He notices a cottage in the distance with a shrub with berries on it. He trudges over to it but right when he gets close to it he falls over to the ground unconscious.

The light-grey colt later awoke to find himself in what seemed to be a living room of a wooden cottage. He glimpsed around than suddenly a soft, cheerful yet slightly nervous voice caught his attention.

He turned his head to see a pale yellow Filly with a long pink mane. “I'm glad your awake how are you feeling? … If you don’t mind me asking….” The yellow filly asked with a nervous tone looking to him.

The colt just looked at her for a moment before speaking. “wh...who are you? where am I?...what do you want with me?” he asked struggling to get up on his side.

“oh nothing. I'm sorry. You didn’t look well out in the cold next to my home so I dragged you in side and tried to warm you up a little… I'm sorry if I did something wrong..” the yellow Pegasus said tilting her head to the side facing the floor.

Nightblaze sneezed trying to stumble on his own four hooves. “thanks but I don’t need any help from anypony, I can take care of my sel-uff” he said as he fell over his front legs.

“please listen to me. You’re still unwell.. I..imp sure you can but not in your condition right now. Please just get some rest.” The Yellow filly said slightly grunting as she lifted his body back into the bed.

The colt just sighed turning away. “fine, if you really feel you need to help help me.” He said turning his head to the side than wrapping his hooves around his growling stomach gritting his teeth. “Oh.. are you hungry? The yellow pony asks looking up over him.

“yah.. for about three weeks now…” he replied. “don’t worry ill get you some thing to eat. You shouldn’t go that long without food.” The colt just sighed as the filly walked off.

Three days passed now sense that time. During the days he slept with occasional meals yet during the night he secretly trained trying to get the hang of flying again unaware that the young caring mare was watching him from the window with a worried look and a bit surprised when he was able to fly a little.

he found a new place, a new friend yet his new life has yet to really begin.

CHapter 3 welcome to Ponyville NightBlaze Part 1

The next afternoon, Night convinced Fluttershy to give him a tour of the town. During the first few hours she showed him to around the shops, and even shugercube corner and helped Pinkie bake cupcakes, than later she showed him to the library.

“umm.. Twilight? Are you in here?” the timid mare asked looking around.

“I'm right over here you two. Nice to see you again NightBlaze.” The unicorn said coming down the steps on the other side of the room.

“likewise Twilight..” the named Colt said nodding to her.

“I see Fluttershy is showing you around Ponyville? That’s great. Maybe some time you can move in.” the Purple mare said trotting over to the two at the door.

“oh.. umm.. Twilight?.. I was hoping.. could you please take over as the tour guide? I need to get back to the animals..” the yellow mare said tilting her head down.

“Sure thing Fluttershy. Its what friends do. good luck” the named mare said nodding with a smile as the butter yellow pegases flew off to her cabin.

“so Fluttershy has shown you a little of the town right?”the purple mare asked turning to Night.

“that right. I still barely had much of a tour.”

“what’s all that noise twilight? you make a new friend or something?” a young male ish voice came from the other room as a small purple scaled dragon walked into the room looking to twilight that to night than back to her giving a slight sinker thinking something. “so who’s your colt-friend Twilight? You find something other than a book to study?” he asked jokingly with a laugh.

“Spike!” the mare shouted out annoyed. “that is not funny. He’s just a friend!’

“I know I know” the dragon boy said walking closer. “your to much of a book worm to….. have a….relationship with some-” he said before getting cut off by a magic muzzle forming around him mouth from the magician’s lit horn.

“umm.. a friend of yours?” the confused pegasus asked looking at the dragon.

“Actually he’s my assistant. His name is spike. And can be a handful at times but always has his heart in the right place…except when Rarity is around.” The unicorn said with a giggle.

“heh.. I see. Have you eyes on that white mare Little guy?” the stallion said looking to Spike with a slight chuckle and smirk, but than his eyes lit up remembering something. “ oh I almost forgot she has my cloak and gem. Where does rarity live again?.. before anything I might as well get my things back.”

“oh right. She doesn’t live to far. Ill take you around if you want. Spike you look over the library wile im gone okay?” the lavender pony said turning to the purple dragon.

“sure thing twilight…. Ill clean up while you and your colt have a nice walk.” The named child dragon said laughing again looking to Night.

The mare just rolled her eyes and motioned her head towards the door saying “well lets het going Night. Ill show you around.”

“alright, haven’t seen much of this town yet.” He replied following the lavender coated unicorn out the door.

The two ponies walked threw the town, Night just looked around at the buildings and Twilight looking to him with a look thinking if that’s what she was like her first day in ponyville. Eventually they arrive at Rarity’s boutique and Twilight knocks on the door and waits for her friend to answer.

The door opens and The white fashion Unicorn nods smiling to them. “Hello Twilight and Sir NightBlaze. Good to see you again. Your …outfit… is done. It took little to no time at all.”

“that’s good to hear” night replied trotting into the balding as the white unicorn moved to let him and twilight inside.

“And I noticed something interesting in one of the pockets. A Beautiful blue sapphire with a moving red spark with in it. Your not willing to sell that little gem to me by any chance?” Rarity asked hoping he will say yes but instead he gestured no by shaking his head.

“sorry Rarity was it? But that gem is very important to me.” Night replied looking around the room they were in.

“Oh I understand perfectly. A crystal that rare and priceless is truly a treasure.” She replied with a nod yet slightly disappointed smile.

“Oh it’s more than just the look that’s important... I found it when I first noticed my parents disappeared... or left me… its all I have to remember them... and I relized it has special qualities.”

“Oh?” the white unicorn said with slight surprise and curiosity. “How so? What can it do?” She says levitating the gem over to him and he takes it in his hoof.

“Thank you and ill show you if you want... where is my cloak first?” he asked looking over his gem that was apparently cleaner and well shined.

“I would like to see what you mean by that to. I think I read about a magic Sapphire before but I might as well see how this one is special.” The student said walking over to him.

“Oh your new cloak is over here.” Rarity said walking over to a figure covered by a fabric than levitating the cover off revealing a black caped cloak with a light red rim around the edges and a red stripe down the back and a collar around the hole for the neck and a paile-ish grey hood with holes for ears and several gems around the cape and collar.

“Wow. Your work is always great Rarity.” The other unicorn said looking over the cloak as night thinks for a moment.

“Well what do you think Sir Blaze? Not often I hear a colt’s opinion on my work.” The pale white unicorn said trotting over to Night.

“Umm... other than the assortment of gems around it... other than that. It looks great miss rarity.” Night said turning to her smiling slightly. “Thank you very much. You are really an expert at this stuffing you?”

“Oh. I see. Very well than. And you’re quite welcome Sir. Thank you for your opinion and kind words.” The unicorn said.

“Thank you. And no need taking the off your self rarity. I can handle that myself” night said closing his eyes and lifting the Sapphire in his hand that’s inner spark starts to glow slightly more UN noticed by the others.

“How so? You don’t have to rip them off yourself. It’s no trouble at all.” The white unicorn said trotting closer to him taping him gently on the shoulder.

“You wanted to see how this gem is special Miss Rarity? Here’s your chance.” He says closing his eyes tight focusing on his Gem and it suddenly starts to glow, the two mares watch in surprise as the jewels on the cloak detach and levitate over into a nearby basket.

“That’s... amazing… how did...” the white unicorn asked as Twilight interrupted yelling with her hoof pointing to the gem.

“IT’S A BLOOD SAPPHIRE!!” the Student yelled trotting over to NightBlaze.

“You know what it is” Night asked confused.

“Yes. It’s a magic gem forged in ancient times that grants non unicorns and unicorn’s magic power. That’s amazing. I've never seen it in person. You’re a lucky colt Night. Mind showing me a few spells that you know already? I might be able to show you a few... this is exciting!”

“Alright alright. Calm down. Twilight, Darling.” Rarity said putting her hoof up to twilight’s lips to shut her up. “Now there will be plenty of time for that later.” She turns to Night. “But at least keep the gems and think about it will you? They might make a nice touch”

Night shrugged and gave a nod. “Sure Miss Rarity.” He turned to the outfit and levitated it over to him and put it on than looked to twilight. Shall we continue the tour?” he said turning back to the whit unicorn. “And think you again Miss. But you didn’t have to-“he said before interrupted.

“Oh but I did. I simply can’t bear to see a well mannered and kind Stallion walking around with nothing but a torn up cape. It was my pleasure to help you Sir NightBlaze.” The fashion unicorn said with a slight bow and smile.

“Right. Let’s get going” twilight said walking halfway out the door turning back to see Night following her. “That was ‘generous’ as always Rarity.” She said with a smile walking the rest of the way out with Night following behind her.

“One can expect nothing less of my dear. Enjoy your day. Rarity said smiling closing the door.

CH 4 Welcome to ponyville NightBlaze Part 2

After that Night and twilight walked through the town, Twilight talking about spells she might try to show Night to see if he can do them and him just talking about what he’s tried already. Other than levitations, a magic body heater spells for cold nights, and spell that let him blend into shadows for a few seconds.

“That’s interesting. I never heard of a spell like that... have you ever had a reason to use it?” Twi asked trotting beside Night.

“Well there was... a few times when I needed to escape from…someponies…or just hide… there are a few things I’m-…” night was saying till he stopped, hearing a strange noise, it sounded Like an echoing engine trying to start but a lot different. Night decided to gallop to the source of the noise with the purple unicorn following him. They stopped at a spot on the outskirts of the village and notices an unusual wooden blue box with the words “police public use box” on the top and night looked at it confused. Suddenly the door opens and a light brown earth pony with an hour glass cutie mark walks out of the box smiling and looking around the area around him than turns to Night and Twilight and smile with a nod “hello” he said with an English accent.

Night just looked at him confused not sure what to say but than asked the Brown Time pony “im sorry.. but who are you?”

“oh me? Im the doctor, pleasure to meet you two. Well other than twilight ive met you already.” The stallion said smiling to twilight.

“we did?.. when? And whats that blue box hut?.” The named Mare asked confused with her scientific curiosity getting the best of her again.

“Oh. Well.to you we didn’t meet yet. But I’ve meet you a few times already. You’ll know in the future and that my dear is the one and only TARDIS.” The brown stallion said as a loud crash is heard from the box and he hands his head down with a sigh. “oh dear… please be careful in there miss hooves.” He said turning to the box as a cross eyed mare Pegasus with a light grey coat and blond mane walked out of the Tardis.

“sorry Doctor. I lost one of the muffins and I tried to find it.” She said with a goofy smile.

“okay.. oh hello Derpy” Twi said smiling. I’ve been wondering where you’ve been. You missed your delivery to the library. I ordered the new Daring do books, the temple of gods and daring do and the staff of kings.”

“oops.. my bad twilight. I meant get it to you. I just don’t know what went wrong with the order. Ill get it to you soon” the Pegasus said with a nod.

“any way.. nice to meet you doctor.. what was it again?” Night asked walking over to the doctor.

“oh. Please its just the Doctor. If you don’t mind NightBlaze. Oops… oh dear..i forgot we never met yet either.. this is awkward.” The brown stallion said.

“oh.. umm.. what?.. you know me from the future as well im guessing?..” night said confused.

“correct. Well me and miss hooves have work do do so if you’ll excuse me.” The brown stallion said before trotting over to Derpy and trotted off.

Night and Twilight just shrugged and kept trotting along to where they were heading.

After a few minutes of trotting they arrive at sweet apple acres. They trotted around the fields for a wile as twilight talked about the history and stories her friend Applejack told her about the farm and night trotting beside her vaguely listening. They eventually run across AJ bucking down apples from a tree and watching them all into baskets along the sides.

“Hay Applejack!” twilight yelled trotting over to her friend. “how are you?”

The apple bucker turned around to face her and the stallion behind her. “I'm doin pretty good Twilight. How yall doin? Given the new colt a walk around town?” she asked picking up one of the apples that missed the basket.

“im fine just giving Night a tour of ponyville and I couldn’t leave the farm out of the tour.” The unicorn said with a smile and nod.

“that’s mighty nice of you Twi. Mind helping me with a few trees Night Blaze?” the apple bucking ornge mare asked looking to the stallion.

“sure I don’t mind…” night said slightly nervous trotting over to a tree and giving turning before bucking it, nothing realy happened. Only a few apples fell and the two fillies looked to each other and laughed.

“its alright night. Yall must not be all strong as yal used to be.” The orange mare said wiping a tear from her eye.

Night growles and jumps up flying upward into the air and flying higher in the air and dashed at the tree picking up momentum and bucking the tree one more time having it shake and sending a few apples flying at the two mares and the rest to fall into the baskets and smirks.

“how about that Apple jack?” the stallion said sticking his tongue out at the tow mares.

“that..was.. err… better. Nice job but careful where you sending those apples” the farm-filly said picking up an apple before tossing it up and bucking it at night who dodges. “some fillies like to fight back”

Twilight rubs her head where the apples hit her and laughs. “that was interesting. And seems like something Rainbow would do”

“weren’t we going to see her after this twilight?” the Pegasus said scratching his head.

“yall can leave after you help with the rest of the trees for that little trick.” The farmer said pointing her hoof to the rest of the trees with apples and winking to the stallion laughing.

“maby a few more trees than we can call it a day for now? We have more places to see around town” twilight said looking at applejack.

“aight, fine that works. I didn’t mean all the trees in the orchard Twi Light.”

A few hours later of bucking apples the three take a break and sit on the benck near the farm drinking apple cider apple jack offered them, night declined but Twilight convinced him it was okay and and accepted. Later Twilight and Nightblaze trot off and find Rainbow dash relaxing in a cloud.

“HAY!! RAINBOW DASH!!”” the unicorn yelled to her friend to get her attention.

The blue Pegasus yawned and looked down from the cloud she was napping on and noticed the two ponies looking up to her.“oh. Hay guys. What’s up?” she asked jumping down from her cloud and gliding down to them.

“hay rainbow.” Night said glaring up to her. “and don’t worry. Im still not a spy from another world.” Night said with a laugh remembering s story twilight toled him when Rainbow acused her of being a spy.

The rainbow tail just looked at him and than back to twilight and smirked. “you just had to tell him about that didn’t you?” she asked the purple mare.

“well.. yes.. I did.. heheh.. he’s new here and as lost as I was.” She replied.

“so what brings you to hunt me down? Whats up?” rainbow asked.

“actually it was my idea. I was hoping you could help me setup a cloud house around here so I wont be mooching off fluttershy so much.” The grey Pegasus said stepping closer to the cyan coated mare.

“make a cloud house?.without the other pegesi knowing?” rainbow asked curiously.

“well it doesn’t mater..” night replied.

“heh.. sure. That wont be to hard. But as soon as you find work ill be the one asking for rent.” Dash said laughing than giving a wink. “I won’t charge you that much night… if you can give me a good enough race once a week.”

“umm.. race?..maybe not. Sorry..” Night said

“okay…doesn’t matter. Let’s talk about it later. At least a work out?”

“Maby.. it would give me something do do.. not much of an athletic colt.”

“aright than. Let’s get to work!” rainbow said stretching her wings and launching herself. up into the air. “just try to keep up flutterfilly.” Rainbow said in a joking mocking tone flying off to gather a bunch of clouds.

Night twitched remembering how slow fluttershy flew without an animal in peril and flew off after her before twilight caught him by the tail with her magic.

“she’s just joking around with you night. Try not to get your flank kicked?” twilight said letting go of the hovering stallion.

“yah yah.. I understand.. catch you later Twilight.” He said flying after the blue mare.

After a few hours of moving clouds around and forming them into a sheltering like shape night and Dash sat down on the roof of his new little flying house.

“that was fun.” Rainbow said sarcastically “ but now you have somewhere to go. Your own home around ponyville” she continued looking to Night.

“yep. Thanks a lot Rainbow.” He said looking at the other clouds around the area.

“your not that bad of a flyer you know. You’d be a better fly sparring partner than Fluttershy.”

“hmm.. thanks.. ill think about that later to Rainbow.” Night said with a smile still looking into the sky. weeks went bye as the new colt settled in to his new home in the ponyville area. During the day he trained not only his flying during Rainbow’s naps, the last thing he wants is to race against her, and preformed many odd jobs for money around town such as cleaning, substituting for cooks at the nearby restraint, and even pest control on occasion.. He also visited Twilight now and again to talk about his magic potential with his blood sapphire in his hoof and a book in hers. His life has been forming better with friends than it ever would alone, and he was happy for the first time in not even he knows how long.

CH 5 The Night's new pet.

One night he decided to go for a walk…well.. a trot threw the ever free forest his friends talked about before. On his trot he came across a lone bat on the ground, the poor thing looked hurt and exhausted, a wolf slowly walked into the area and glared at the bat licking its lips but Night couldn’t let a helpless bat become a snack for this wolf and lunged in between the two glaring at the wolf and snorted in slight irritation and anger and yelled “NO! you can find food somewhere else! This little one is not your prey!”

The wolf was thrown off by this surprising action and growled indicating he didn’t want some pony getting in his way though night wasn’t giving up on the critter either and pulled out his blood-sapphire, it glowed a magical dark red aura that seemed to creep out the wolf. Just enough to make him back away. A small bolt of red lightning struck the tree right to the left of the wolf. Now the wolf was scared and ran off yipping in fear for his life, Night put the gem away and turned back to the bat and smiled. Are you okay little guy?..im sorry you had to see that.”

The bat got to his feet and blinked trying to take in what he witnessed as reality and smiled a few tears in his eyes and hugged Night’s hoof tightly. Night didn’t mind and smiled back starting to trot back out of the forest. After a wile he notices the bat following him and flies up into a tree and lands on a branch, the bat lands on the branch across from him.

“oh.. hello again..are you lost?..” the bat shook its head. Do you have a family to go to?” again the bat shook its head looking down with a sad face this time. “oh…I see.. I understand… I’ve been there before..would you like to be my pet and come home with me than?” night asked with a slight smile offering the bat a hoof to fly to witch happened in less than an instant realizing just how fast a happy and overjoyed bat can fly. The bat was obviously saying yes smiling brighter than Pinkie Pie and hugging the stallion yet again.

The two creatures trotted out of the dark forest and night tossed the bat up and smiled to him before spreading his wings, the bat started flapping away to keep from falling to the ground and smiled back not sure if Night was joking or if he was getting ready to fly to his home.

“Ready to fly little guy?” night asked flying up above the bat and the bat smiled knowing he was welcome to follow him after all and the duo flew off to Nights cloud home in the sky.

Once at the cloud home night looked around threw his things that he has purchased or found over the weeks and thought for a moment before flying down to the ground again with the bat exploring the home confused and amazed. The grey colt landed in front of Fluttershy’s hut and knocked on the door. The other Pegasus answered and looked at him shyly or as timid as usual.

“he..hello Night.. can I help you?” she asked smiling slightly.

“umm.. Yes.. is there anything you can offer me that a bat might like?..” night asked and turned to see Fluttershy smiling noticing that he must have either rescued an animal or found a pet much less both.

“Sure I do Night. I found a nice severed tree branch that should be able to stick in a cloud wall and hold a full grown bat (the branch might not be a normal one to stay in a cloud or something but meh. Physics. Pinkie destroyed that line long ago)

“that would be great.. any thing else like food I should know about or anything?”

“well.. they sometimes eat insects or berries. Im sure he can handle himself.” The mare said giving a smiled offering the branch.

Night took the branch in his mouth and noded “thanks fluttershy. Talk to you later.” He than spread his wings and flew off to his home to fix up a little area for his new pet. Not relizing that he would have a mess to clean up after words. This new friend might be a hoof full.

CH 6 A Royal Encounter and a evening Blaze.

On a long trot into ponyville night first notices everypony running around like there might be a fire coming trying to make everything perfect for something. He looks at a banner that is still in the making saying welcome to Ponyvile Celest. Hmm… no idea whats going on.. wonder what twilight is up to.. maybe she would know. He trotted onward to the library before getting bumped over by the crazy dress maker fashinesta.

“Careful with those gems! Easy with that! No no no I said light red LIGHT RED more pink than maroon not that… guh. And you…that’s fine. But… try to make it a little tini bit neater. We want to please a princess not a pony from out of town.” Rarity barked at the other ponies as Night got to his hooves shaking off the Derpy face.

“Hy.. rarity.. what is-“

“hello. Cant talk to much to do.. talk to Twilight to busy bye bye”

The colt just shrugged and trotted off to the library to see what was going on, he knocked on the door to the number 1 assistant who yelled “TWILIGHT!! YOUR COLTFRIEND IS HERE!!”

The stallion just sighed and trotted inside and looked around as twilight came down the stairs- “Oh. Hay Night. Spike. Stop saying that… what’s up?”

“oh.. not much.. I was going to ask if I could have a minor magic lesson sense I'm here.. and.. to ask. Why is everypony rushing around?” the stallion replied glaring at the dragon.

“Wow.. you didn’t get the memo did you?. The Princess is coming today! And shes bringing Luna to witch is great! I haven't seen her sense nightmare night. Or the wedding.”

Right.. and I take it this is a really big deal..” sad night with a confused look.

“YES!! She’s only the most powerful being in Equestria and the Ruler of the land.” The mare responded levitating books left and right.

“I see.. I might get to meet her thats. Nice.” Night said with a slight smile.

“Yep. Sorry I'm busy to. Talk later?” the mare said as trumpets started to play signaling the arrival of the princesses. “ oh no. I'm late.. and.. there..early?!? SPIIIIKE!!”

“Excuuuse mee Princess. I didn’t know there was a change in timing.” The dragon said looking to see the princesses fly in on there carriage and Twilight rushed out to greet them, night was to occupied looking over the other books on the floor and grabbed a book called Mysteries of the un seen realms “hay. Spike? I'm taking this book for a wile okay?”

“Sure sure. Happy readings.” Spike said with an uncaring tone noticing Rarity approaching the Princesses and sighing like a love struck teen.

After placing the book in his steel bag Night stepped out of the library and trotted off to the bakery. There he noticed almost every pony gathered around the princesses with a little space for him to get a glimpse and he stopped right in the middle of an opening in the crowd looking at the lunar Princess and blinked blushing slightly and shaking his head. He never before saw an Alicorn, let alone a one as breathtaking as her, her smooth dark blue coat, her magical and mystical dark flowing mane that nearly resembled the beauty of the night sky and shining eyes as harm and beautiful as the stars of the wonderful night she brings forth. She looks over in his direction with a wondering look and he smiled with a shy nod and trotted off blushing slightly more. Wow.. shes…I cant even describe..she must be the princess Twilight mentioned.. and she looked at me..wait..what am I doing.. I can talk to her.. but..maby I shouldn’t.. oh..man..

Later that night the Silver stallion smiled and nodded to his pet bat and they both flew off into the night sky, they raced and did loops in the air. Night constantly gazed up into the night sky and smiled thinking about the mare he saw earlier today. Not paying any attention to his direction he was brought back to his senses by his pets chirping trying to warn him of an on coming collision, than, CRASH! Night collided with another pony in the middle of the air and both of them plummeted to the ground. Rescued only by a bush. They both got up not yet making eye contact and brushing themselves off-

“ I'm sorry about that I don’t look where I was going.” Night said looking at a minor cut on his hoof.

“oh no. its quite alright. I get that for ponies its hard to see at night.” Princess Luna said rubbing her head and looking at him with a look of confusion as if she had seen him before.

Night finally looked us as he said “ no no. its not that. I was flying my pet bat Bruce and.. I'm always amazed by the night sky. It is truly an amazing thing in life. To me its more beautiful than anything.. and mysterious. Almost like the mare I saw at the….” He than realized who he was talking to, and the blushing along her face showed that she knew he was talking about her. Oh buck.. what did ..thats her.. did I just say that to?.. “umm.. sorry about that..ma..ma’am.. I'm.. I didn’t.” night shuddered nervously blushing a little more than before. Sure he could talk to mares just fine, but this particular mare. Seemed different.

“oh.. well.. surely you flatter my work.. not many really find that much joy in the night unless there’s a star fall or a holiday.” Luna replies blushing slightly and looking at the moon.

“well. I'm not like many ponies I guess. strange as it seems” nigh said with a smile. “My name Is NightBlaze. its.. nice to meet you..”

“Likewise I am Luna. I can care less if you decide to add the princess part.” Luna said smiling. “it is great to meet a pony that loves my work for its self. Not just some other things.”

“your work did you say? What do you mean by that?”

“I am the princess of the night. I raise and lower the moon and bring out the stars.”

“wow.. your able to do that?..you amazing.. and powerful…” night said surprised.

“thank you..again..Nightblaze..” luna said with a smile.

Maby we can meet up sometime?..i have a cloud house not far from here and not in cloudsdale if you don’t mind.. id like to get to know you more..Luna..we.can go to this place I've flown by a few times.. looked good.” The stallion said nervously.

“Sure. That sounds like itwould be nice.” Luna said gently patting Night on the front right shoulder. “I will see you tomorrow night perhaps? Sir Blaze?”

“sounds great to me my Princess.” Night replied with a smile and nod than his ear twitched hearing a slight giggle from behind the bush.

“WHO GOES THERE!! THOW SHOW YOUR SELF!!” the princess said in her powerful canterlot royal voice.

The purple dragon slowly came out and looked at the two. “heh.. hello Night And..Nightmare..i wasn’t spying on you or anything.” He said nervously.

“oh please. I know your spying on us..what did you hear?” the stallion said as Luna whispered in his ear.

“Excuse me night..but if he is the dragon friend of Twilight Sparkle.. I wouldn’t want him telling her of this.. quite yet..” she said trying to be sure the Dragon didn’t hear her.

“okay I was spying on you. And what a story ill have for the others. Princess Luna finds a colt? This is to good. Heheh” the dragon said making the evil figure pyramid.

“theres nothing we or I can give you to be sure you stay quiet is there?” Night asked the dragon.

“Well I'm waiting to see what your offering first.” The dragon said with a yawn and looking over his claws as thow hes a big shot doubting he’ll get impressed by any deal made.

Night thought for a moment than nodded to Bruce who dashed off and returned a few moments later with a bag full of the gems rarity said to hold on to incase Night changed his mind and Spike woke from his tough guy act and drooled at all the tasty and delicious looking gems.

“wow.. that’s quite the selection..” spike said slowly walking closer as Night steped in the way.

“Not so fast scales. First you need to promise not to say a word. Got that?” Night said looking to the dragon youngling.

“Sure thing.. I promise I wont say a word. Can I have them now?!?!”

“sure. A deals a deal.” Night said and smiled to Luna.

“I see you also have a way with annoying little problems.” She said returning the smile.

“heh. Thanks. Luna…now.i guess.. ill see you tomorrow night?..” Night said blushing softly.

“Agreed.” Said the princess as she smiled and spread her wings taking flight as Night stood there and gazed up to the wondrous and beautiful mare.

Ch2 mane 6 meet the new colt.

Later one day wile Fluttershy was out, Nightblaze thought that he was ready to leave and got himself off the bed and walked off to a table on the other side of the room and wrote a small note with a quill in his mouth. Explaining that he was grateful for what she did for him but decided it was time for him to go.

He made his way to the door when it suddenly swung open smashing him between the wall and door. Suddenly 6 ponies came running threw the door way one of the Fluttershy, the other 5 not yet known ((I know who they are but I don’t know how to add new people all of a sudden so yah. He doesn’t know them yet so ill go by his prospective.))

“Where’s this new Stallion friend o yers Shy?” an orange blond mare asked looking around the place than to Fluttershy.

“yah, id like to meet this new pony. You keep going on about.” A lavender unicorn said as the door slightly tilted open and she glimpsed over to it. The yellow Pegasus noticed the note on the table and started to read it than sigh.

“he’s gone… I thought he would stay for another day at least…”she said turning to the others before the student unicorn interrupted.

“Actually Fluttershy… he’s right here” she said as her horn lit pulling the silver Pegasus off the door than having him levitate in the air for a second to come to his senses shaking off the door, him, wall collision.

The yellow one turned to him surprised and flew over to him with a surprised than serious look on her face as the lavender filly let him to the ground and Fluttershy landed right in front of hi almost snout to snout.

“I thought you were gone and ran into the ever free forest or something. Thank Celestia your alright, its better to tell some one that in person you know. Other wise, it’s just rude and makes people worried or sad for you to go with out seeing you.” She said giving the (Fluttershy stare) Stare.

He just turned his head to the side than down looking back to her, the fact that she was talking this way instead of the timid and somewhat calm voice surprised him slightly. He continued to hang his head downward in embarrassment as the others looked over to him. “I'm sorry Fluttershy… I just didn’t want to be any more of a problem or burden for you and I thought this would have been the best time for me to leave…” the colt answered as the others crowded around the sides of him forming somewhat of a circle.

“that’s crazy. Shy is never one to by burdened by something such as that.” A white unicorn replied from the spot next to Fluttershy.

“So now there’s another Pegasus in town” the rose eyes bleu Pegasus said flying up behind him as he looked back to see her and she flew back over to the others.

“What was your name again?” the lavender unicorn asked him.

“ oh my name… is … Nightblaze..” the stallion answered looking to her than the other mares in the room.

“nice to meet you Nightblaze. My name is Twilight Sparkle” the student said tilting her head to the side. “im sure you know Fluttershy already.”

“well howdy Night. Names Applejack, Nice to meet ya.” The orange filly next to the student said with a smirk. “shy's mentioned that yall haven't eaten nothing in months, at right?”

Nightblaze just gave a slight nod wondering why that mattered.

“Well than I got somethin for ya.” The farmer said digging into her bag and pulling out three apples by the stem. “here ya are. Free of charge curtsey of Sweet Apple Akers.”

The farmer rolled the apples over to hi with her hoof. For a second her just looked at them than back to her.

“thank you… I umm.. guess.” he replied before picking one up and eating it.

“OH OH And I brought CUPCAKES FOR EVERYONE!!” a pink coated mare with cotton candy like hair said tossing cupcakes to every one from a small box she was holding.

“umm…thanks?.. the silver colt said grabbing his cupcake mid air.

“My name is pinkie Pie by the way. I looove parties to..” the party pony said before a long gasp taking in air before shouting out in excitement. “WE SHOULD HAVE A PARTY!!!”

The others nodded to each other than giggled.

“Oh,” the white unicorn said remembering something. “Fluttershy darling, you said you found him out in the cold, did he have anything with him or on?”

Fluttershy thought for a minute. “Well he did have an old warn out and clawed up cloak, I just set it on that hook over there.” The named pegasus said pointing to the coat rack that had a torn up old ruined black cloak.

The fashion pony gasped after looking to it with a hoof to her mouth. Oh dear, oh dear, that just wont do, I cant have some one just living around with out something better than a..destroyed old garment like that. Sorry sir Nightblaze… tell you what.”

The Colt looked to her with a confused look. “yes?”

The white mare got up and lifted the cloak off the hook and put it in her bag. “ill make you something new and no doubt better to wear.. other than this…thing. Ill have the new one ready in no time at all. You can just stop by my boutique when you are ready for it. Twilight can show you around town later.

Night blaze turned to the unicorn with a confuted look. “why would you do that for me?..and how much would I have to pay for it?

“Oh don’t worry about charge darling, its complementary.” She said walking out the door saying “ta ta for now.”

The lavender unicorn sighed. “that’s rarity for you night. She’s known for anything its her generosity.”

“Oh.. I see. That’s nice of her..” the sliver stallion said.

“well now that that is settled..” the student said rolling her eyes before she was interrupted by the Cyan pegasus who flew up from behind Night.

“”so you’re a pegases I see.. what are you doing down here on the ground?” the speedster asked one eyebrow rose glaring at him. “wouldn’t you be in cloudsdail or somethin?”

“Well you see.. I’ve never been there in my life. Strange as it is to hear.. at least no time that I can remember…. I've been living on my own for most of my life on the ground.

“oh..” the vibrant maned pegases backed off and sighed. “alright.. names rainbow Dash by the way. Maybe I could show you around cloudsdale later than.”

“that sounds nice Rainbow.” The student said turning to Night. “so where do you live now?”

“oh..umm.. I don’t really have a real home… I was abandoned at a young age and I have been trying to live on my own..it’s been a hard life but I've managed to get by..mostly. ” the stallion said tilting his head down.

The six fillies in the room looked shocked by the news but than some of there eyes watered and Fluttershy even flew over to him hugging him with her wings. “ I'm sorry you had to live that kind of life. No one should have gone threw that.” The butter-yellow mare said tears coming from her eyes.

“that mustv been mighty rough on yall but good to see you still breathen after all that.” The farmer said with a comforting smile putting a hoof on his shoulder.

“umm.. thanks?.. but it wasn’t that bad..” the silver colt replied tilting his head blushing slightly as the orange filly giggled.

After the others finished giggling at his blushing the student walked up to him as flutter shy pulled her wing back blushing after remembering that she was giving a comforting hug to a colt.

“so you have nowhere else to live now?” the student asked looking to the stallion.

“that’s…right.” The silver colt started tilting his head. “I have nowhere to live.”

“well if you want or have no were else to stay,… y..you can stay in the guest room in the back until you can make your own place ..if you want.” The timid mare said turning her head to the side.

The vibrant Maned mare smirked with a slight giggle. “wow Fluttershy, I didn’t know you could be that forwarded with asking a colt to move in with you.” She said with a smirk and chuckle.

The butter yellow pegases blushed and turned to her friend. “tha..that’s not what its like, he needs somewhere to live and I cant stand some one living in the forest all week…has nothing to do with being a..a….colt….” she said going bright red.

“I know I know. I'm just messin with ya” the speedster said giving another chuckle, “I know you’re the last person to go that far.”

“okay okay. Enough you two.” The lavender unicorn said giving a sigh.

“well if its no trouble for you.. I guess I could… until I get my own home set up at least.” The stallion said turning to the yellow Pegasus. “thank you very much.. all of you… you’re the nicest people I've met in a long time. Thank you.” He went on before bowing his head down to them as a sigh of gratitude and respect.

The six just giggled for a minute before strangely in unison saying “nice to meet you to Night.”
