Once Upon A Time

A year had passed since the annual school party in the fall in the human world. In the meanwhile in the Pony world of Equestria were pony Cheerilee having her daily education with the fillies. It was the day before the yearly running of the leaves in Whitetail Woods. Cheerilee had finished her class that day, as she walked across a park at the school to her home in a suburb to Ponyville. The mare got startled, as she thought she saw suddenly saw a messy filly run quickly by her. The filly were not looking too well.

"Well, I wonder what happened to that filly." Cheerilee told herself.

The days passed in the autumn, while Cheerilee kept on seeing that filly in the park and the school too. One day were Uncle Strudel coming by. That stallion had worked in both the Canterlot and Ponyville schools for years ago. Uncle Strudel had a picture of how the school looked in the end of the 1890's. The mare got startled by a very old photo of the filly she had seen in the park.

"What the hay, that's a filly I had seen in the park the last days." Cheerilee told Uncle Strudel.

"That right, I seen him too on my fields and he told me that he drowned in a pool one summer in the 1890's." the stallion told the mare.

"The ghostly filly will not hurt anypony, and as I asked more about him his last days was in July 1897 while none knows his name." Uncle Strudel said to Cheerilee.

Cheerilee saw more photos of the school back in the 1900's. At times the ghost of the drowned filly showed up at school group photos, and also the summer parties in the playground.

"Some said that he was the perfect stallion to be the Mayor of Ponyville, but as told he drowned by an accident while he came back as this entity we had seen." the stallion told Cheerilee.

"Well, now I remember Mayor Mare had this filly as a family way back then." Cheerilee said to Uncle Strudel.

None noticed the entity, as he only could be seen on photos. Uncle Strudel told Cheerilee that other students tried to get his name too by meeting him by the lake in a forest by a school, but he suddenly vanished.
