Fallout Equestria: Memories
Chapter One- Wake Up Call
NAME: UNKNOWN
AGE:UNKNOWN
GENDER: MALE
TRAITS:
AMNESIA- YOU HAVE SKILLS WITH CERTIAN OBJECTS, BUT ALL YOUR MEMORIES ARE GONE, SOME PONIES MAY KNOW YOU, BUT YOU WILL NOT KNOW THEM
HELL'S ANGEL- YOU ARE KNOWN BY MANY AS A HERO, BUT YOU ALWAYS SEEM TO LEAVE A TRAIL OF BLOOD AND SORROW BEHIND YOU.
"Why are you doing this?" A garbled voice came into my ears, but I could only barely make it out. It sounded like my voice, I think.
"Because, My Little Pony, it is for the best."
I ripped my knife out of its holster using my magic, and swung at the first pony I saw, which turned out to be the nurse standing by the cot I was lying on. I stopped the blade quickly, and the nurse stared at it, fear in her eyes.
"Please don't hurt me," was all that came out of her lips as she trembled. I simply nodded and tucked the blade away into the saddle bag that was still on my back. I glanced around, and saw nothing other than a few cots and a small cart. I tried to remember why I ould be in an infirmery, but it slipped my grasp, thinking back further, I still couldn't remember. Now I was worried.
"Where am I?" I growled. The nurse took a step back.
"N-New Ponyville, you were found almost dead in the surrounding canyons." The nurse managed, I got out of the bed, but nearly passed out in the process. Somehow the nurse was already next to me giving me support. I brought my hoof up to my head to stop the room from spinning, and saw something. Something that looked rather familiar, attatched to my arm. After a few moments of painful headache, I realized that it was a pipbuck, not so sure how I knew that though. I opened up the main interface, and I felt the needles within my arm already healing whatever ailment the nurse had not. The pipbuckwas attatched to my arm, screwed in, all the way through the bone.
"But why?" I asked aloud. The nurse looked scared.
"Why what?"
"I can't remember much, all I really remember is that I have a pipbuck that's screwed into my body. But why is it screwed into my body? Are they supposed to do that?" I asked. The mare shook her head.
"No, and I already knew that, it also zapped me when I tried to read it." she replied.
"Why did you try to read it exactly?" I said, slightly annoyed for some reason.
"Because I needed to see what I needed to heal, and pipbucks are supposed to keep track of that." She answered simply. I nodded, and sat onthe cot I had just got up from, and began to go through the pipbuck. There was quite a bit on it, such as a radiation detector, a weapon targeting system, and an eyes forward spark. The last one actually could be seen through my own eyes instead of on the screen. As I went through it, I found that I had some items on me as well, that were within my saddlebags, looking further, I saw that I had on me, two stympacks, three boxes of cigerettes, a combat knife, a machette, a pickaxe, a screw driver, and ten bobby pins. I went further along, and finally came across the voice file, it was labled Message to myself I opened it, and my own voice began.
"Alright, this is a message to myself, if I catually do survive this potion. My name is True Key, and I don't need to remember anything. I know myself better than anypony else does, and i know that I will want to find my memories immidiately, well, I have them, they are scattered through out the wasteland, in memory orbs, the first of them is located in a stable, I won't say which, now good luck you damn son of a bitch. Also, if you ever reach New Apploosa, make sure you ask for a Ditzy Doo."
The message ended. "Well Mr. Key, at least you know your name," the nurse said cheerfully. I nodded. "My name is Cherry Skies, it's nice to meet you." The nurse said, I nodded again.
"I guess I'm True Key, and it's nice to meet you, tell me, what exactly do I look like?" I replied. Cherry walked away for a moment, and came back with mirror in her levitation. Upon looking into it, i saw that I had unkempt medium length hair, my coat was jet black, and my eyes had two different colors, one blue, and the other a red. I also noted I had a scar that crossed over the eye that was blue, on the left side of my face.
"So, what are going to do now?" Cherry asked me.
"I don't know, I suppose I'll head over to this New Apploosa place, and find that Ditzy Doo pony." I replied, getting off the cot once again.

Chapter Two- Welcome to New Ponyville
"Because My Little Pony, it is for the best..."
Upon exiting the hospital/ infirmery, I realized, that it was dark. There were several lamps lighting the path ways and and streets, but the sky was dark, and so were the shadows where the light did not reach. For some reason the darkness bugged me, and put me on edge. It didn't exactly scare me, but it was as if I couldn't trust it. Before I could give myself a splitting headache on the reason why, I heard a shout. "Damn dog! I can't even get into my own house!" Came a male voice. With absolutely no idea what to do at the moment, I decided to head towards the commotion.
Rounding the corner towards the noise, I saw two earth ponies standing near each other each of the opposite gender. One seemed to be muttering something, and the other was just shaking her head with a frown. "Excuse me, but could I perhaps be of service?" I asked, causing both ponies to jump. The one who had been muttering to the ground spoke first.
"I suppose you could, that damn dog over there won't leave our front porch, and won't let us into the house." He nodded over to said dog, who seemed to just lie there. "Ever since that traveller dumped him here and never came back, he's been causing all sorts of trouble, if you can rid us of it, I'll gladly pay you fifty caps." He said. Now there was a term I remembered, caps, bottle caps, money, something that I most likely needed.
"Alright, so if I can rid you of the dog, I get fifty caps. So your home is only worth fifty caps? I bet I could find fifty caps worth of junk in the garbage around here." I said, trotting away.
"Wait! 100 caps!" The stallion called, and the mare nodded as well.
"Throw in that crap pistol strapped to your neck, and you got yourself a deal." I had no idea why I was taking the risk, but it was as if I had done this a thousand times before, and for all I know, I have. The stallion debated this for a moment, then gave in.
"Fine, just kill the dog." He muttered, taking a satchel out of his saddle bag, he tossed it over, then took the pistol off of his neck and slid that towards me as well. Upon checking both, I found the pistol empty of amo, andexactly 100 caps in the satchel. Worked for me. I went up to the dog, who growled at me, I ignored it, and took out my combat knife on instinct. Instinct I didn't even know I had. The dog continued to growl, but didn't do anything more, suddenly my pipbuck started to tick, and I got a notification that this dog was heavily irradiated. I nodded, knowing that this meant the dogwas just sick. I walked to the two earth ponies.
"Do you have anything for radiation perhaps?" I asked. The stallion looked at me with hatred for a moment.
"We already had our deal, now get rid of the dog." The stallion growled. Before I could reply though, the mare tossed me a needle.
"There, that's rad away, now please just help us." she said. I thanked her, and went to the dog, I took the rad away, and injected it into the dog, who immidiately perked up, as my pipbuck's radiation detector slowly stopped clicking. The dog barked cheerfully, and ran up next to me. Picking up my reward, I nodded to the two ponies, and went on my way, the dog by my side.
"Hm, you know, you were almost dogmeat," I said with a chuckle, and the dog nodded in agreement. Or maybe I was just slightly crazy. "Well, if I know something correctly, I hope it's the fact that it will get brighter out, come on Dogmeat, let's find somewhere to bunk down." I said, walking down the street. I needed to find Ditzy Doo, but I felt tired, even though I had just woken up. I looked at the buildings, which were in better repair than for some reason I thought even possible, when finally I came across one labled, "The Meat Eater's Hotel". I shrugged and stepped inside.
The place was rather drab, nothing to noticable, save for a fridge. There was one desk, with a mare sitting behind it. I aproached. "How much for one night?" I asked. The mare looked up at me.
"50 caps, and 20 caps for your dog." The mare said. Before I could try to lower the price down to fifty bits total, a group of three stallions came through the door and shoved me aside. Dogmeat growled dangerously. They were all earth ponies, save for the one at the front, he was a unicorn. The mare was wide eyed, and I saw her horn glowing softly, and a knife came up out from behind the desk. "I've already paid you this week, why are you here?" The mare asked, not doing a very good job at looking threatening.
"You could say that the tax has been raised." The unicorn said, grabbing the knife out of her hold, and tossing it on the ground. "Now, hand over the money." The unicorn said, levatating a gun out of his neck holster. It was a simple pistol, most likely .10 mm. Don't ask how I know that, because I don't know myself.
"I don't have any! I was just about to get some, I swear, please, come back tomorrow!" The mare said frantically.
"That's a lie, and I know it. Ponies pay you daily, now fork it over." The stallion said, the two earth ponies grabbing their own guns. The mare looked at me for help. I nodded, getting up, at the same time grabbing my machette with my magic. Before I could sneak up though, the earthpony on the unicorn's left side caught sight of me, and swivelled the gun towards me. I dove to the side as he pulled the trigger, the bullets hitting the wall behind me, while he was busy swinging the gun towards me, I charged towards him, and swung the machette. It hit him in the leg, and he went down clutching it. I brought my machette up to finish him, when a shot rang out. Spinning around I saw that the unicorn had fired towards me and had missed. "You shouldn't have gotten involved Guy." The unicorn said, aiming the gun at my head. I knew I was doomed. At least, that's what I thought.
Suddenly the gun fell from the unicorn's grasp, as he yelped in pain. Saving Dogmeat had been the best choice I have ever made for as far as I can remember, which, wasn't that far. Dogmeat had jumped towards the unicorn, and latched himself onto his leg, giving me the chance to grab his gun and unload two bullets into his head, swinging the gun around again, I caught sight of the other earthpony, who was currently raising a gun to Dogmeat, I shot him in the hoof, and he fell. "Don't you touch my dog." I growled, then unloaded the rest of the ten bullets into his head, hearing a satisfying crunch noise as his brians came out of the back of his head. I turned to the first earth pony, who was wide eyed and shaking. I dropped the gun, and knelt next to the stallion.
"P-please don't!" Was all he managed.
"Don't what? gut you with my machette like you weere planning on killing that innocent mare, slit your throat so that you die choking on your own blood? Why the fuck not?" I said darkly. The stallion stared on. "Well, tell me!" I yelled.
"I-I have caps!" The stallion pleaded.
"I was planning on taking those from your dead body." I growled, giving a gentle smile. "Now please, I'll give you one more chance, why do you deserve to live?" I asked calmly.
"Because I was just following orders!" The stallion said, and then began to cry.
"Show some dignity, it'll be quick." I said, and the stallion nodded, facing me. I brought my machette down, and his head rolled off. I turned towards the mare, who was staring at me with fear. "So, 70 caps total? After what just happened, I'm willing to give you a hundred, are you alright?"
"F-fine, please don't hurt me." She replied, I raised an eyebrow.
"I wouldn't, so how does a hundred caps sound?" I asked. she just nodded as I took the bag and gave it to her. She nodded, not taking her eyes off of me, and grabbed a key to room one, and nodded towards the door. "Thanks, sorry about the mess," I said, grabbing the saddle bags of the three dead ponies. I took out a gun, and handed it to the mare. "Next time, you need to do something at close range like that, use one of these," and with that, I entered the room, followed my Dogmeat, who was dragging in the dead unicorn, and ripping pieces off of it to eat. For some reason, I thought it should gross me out, but it didn't, and I didn't care. I opened up the unicorn's saddle bag, and dumped the contents onto the bed. There wasn't much, a bag of caps, two bobby pins, and one case of .10 mm ammunition. I took the bag, which contained 100 caps, I also took the bobby pins for a reason that had eluded me, but I left the amunition, hoping to trade it, along with the guns.
I opened the other two bags, and again, didn't find much, in total from both bags, I found 20 caps, two boxes of amunition, and a very rusty knife. I grabbed the caps, and put the rest in with the other bag, and put all four bags next to the bed. I then turned off the lamp next to my bed, and was asleep in a very short amount of time.

Fallout Equestria: Memories
War, war never changes. Once upon a time in the magical land of Equestria, there came a day when the friendliness and kindness of the world gave way to greed and evil, and the end came, much as we had all predicted. The details are, trivial and pointless, the reasons, purely those of our own. Not enough resources, and to many people, be it zebra, pony, or otherwise.
The world was nearly wiped clean of life. A great cleansing, an atomic spark, struck by pony hooves, quickly raged out of control. Spears of balefire rained down from the sky upon those unlucky enough to be living in a large city or main trading center. Nuclear bombs were placed in the most important of places, Canterlot, Manehatten. Continents fell to flame, sinking beneath the great boiling oceans. Pony kind, was almost extinguished, their spirits becoming part of the harsh backround radiation that blanketed the wastes.
A quiet darkness had fallen upon the world, lasting hundreds of years. Few survived the terror, those who had though, had found the saftey of the stables. these stables opened once the darkness had passed, the stables opened, and the inhabitants went out to live their lives once again.
A long time ago, their was one said pony, who came to be known as the Stable Dweller, who had as the story goes, saved the world from a great evil in the south, where they were taking unicorns, and turning them into beasts, but in doing so, had lost many friends, and gave up a part of herself. In the end, she had chosen not to come back to her stable, but instead had chosen to live out the rest of her days within the Equestrian Wastes. She founded a village sometime or the other within her life, and over time the village's old name was lost, and gained the title New Ponyville. What happened to New Ponyville? Absolutely nothing, it's still there, hidden among the northern canyons, peaceful from the outside world.
But outside the village, the scars of the war still run deep, and Equestria has not forgiven pony kind.
