Lets fly back,
Twilight has been working days on a new magic spell, a time spell, to be specific.
The other day, she found a special spell book in the "Star swirled the bearded" wing of the canterlot castle.
Bringing it home to her tree, she found lots of new spells.
at the back of the book she found a half-ripped page. the only thing ripped off was part of a discription:

Twilight has been looking for this spell for years.
A time spell
Recently Twilight found an old book in the StarSwirl the Bearded section. Flipping through miraculous pages of spells.
The last page was old and torn, and once she saw the bold TIME SPELL she ran home with it to try it out.
and here we are now,
Twilight nervously tries the spell out.
nothing happens
"SPIIIKE"
"coming"
"I need dragon claw" Twilight wheezes
She pricks the edge off Spikes claw and goes back to her work
"aha!"
The purple mare tries the spell with the claw
A softly spinning blue bubble appears with a puff of mist
"woah"
The mare takes a stick off the tree and throws it in
and nothing happend
so she went in herself
