Load Full StoryAnd the last thing you would ever see – or so you thought – was the movement of hundreds of muscles, which in turn moved a piece of metal, which in turn moved another bit of metal, which blew something up, which blew another something up, which made gases expand, which propelled metal down a tube made of metal, and then the first bit of metal from the prior clause was sent impossibly quickly out of the second bit, and directly at your face. The movement of hundreds of muscles sure can be a pain sometimes, you surmise, incredibly calmly despite the rather extreme circumstance. In the split second before the end, with absolutely nothing flashing before your eyes besides the expanding gases mentioned beforehand, you take a moment to wonder what dying will be like. Then, exactly as was planned, he killed you.
