//-------------------------------------------------------// All things considered -by flodoomable- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch.1 A visit to ponyville //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch.1 A visit to ponyville It was a cool summers night with the moon high in the sky glowing its white light over  the little town called ponyville. There where hoofsteps near the fountain at its center even as everypony was already fast asleep. Only the librarian’s bedroom window showed a small outward glow, hinting there was still somepony awake probably reading a book on Social Development or what not. There where no noises, the birds where asleep in their nests, the bunnies slept in their burrows, the chickens rested their eyes for a moment and the ponies snored in their comfy soft beds within the safety of their wooden houses. Outside the cosy Safe gardens a figure slowly walked towards a shop with a sign featuring three candy bars. A dark red glow emited from within the iron lock of the smal door, making the old door lock open with a barely audiable soft  “clunk”. The door opened very slowly as the shadow slipped in. It walked through the owners livingroom like it was his own home. In the kitchen stood a little white table where a pastel mare with pink and purple hair was currently snoring ever so slightly, apparently fallen asleep while making some kind of minty bleu, bright pink  and dark purple striped scarf with heartstrings and candy designs stiched in to it. “If this plan works it will be great.” The figure walked sneakishly past the mare as she started to wake up. The mare was about to open her eyes when she felt a warm blanket around her. Snuggling up against the soft surface the mare started dozing off again. After prying Its arodynamic linnen cloth-like limb from between the mare and the chair where she had fallen asleep, the unwanted guest looked for what possibly could have woken her up when It saw the problem. it wasn’t a pleasant sight at the least. blue eyes widend as the shadow noticed a brightly bleu mare having a horn atop her head with a look of utter dread on her face from discovering the nearly jet-black intruder holding her soulmate within his feathers probably only five hoofsteps away. After his soft wings where no longer being pulled in an embrace to keep away the fresh breeze now flowing through the open frontdoor he walked towards the petrified bleu mare, one hoof at a time. “clop” “clop” “clop” “clop” A very weak and quiet voice trembled on the verge of tears for her possible impending doom. “an alico..” It was then that she felt a hoof held gently to her lips to silence her. “sleep”, said a voice that seemed to echo deep through her mind as she saw the dark-red glow of magic seep from the horn above his ocean blue eyes making her counsiousness gradually fade into darkness. Lyra could only feel that she was being caried upstairs into her bedroom and weirdly enough tucked in as if she was a little filly again being put to bed by her father. It felt unnervingly pleasant. After tucking the mares in, the sneak-mode went back on. Looking through drawers and cabinets searching for that óne thing, the privacy-crasher found lots of things probably not ment to ever see the daylight. His expedition brought him through piles of souveniers from journeys to far lands like Zebrica with these striped jungle hats, Eurony’s mini colts royce figureens, pokerchips from Las Pegasus, photo’s from Mareamie and even some clams and pearls from Ponanthis, and that was a sunken sea pony city for Celestia’s sake. There were also painted plates, dresses, instruments with a lot of them being heartstrings, there where even some very suggestive undergarments to cause one’s wings to expand. Eventhough that’s exacly wat happened, manouvering still wasn’t a big challenge to overcome. “Wait a sec…  that’s it!”  the unexpected house guest at last found what he was looking for. With a fast flash of dark-red magic the door was locked once more. With the sun still a few hours away the shadow looked at the library which was now dark, apparently the eager reader must have finished the book. He knew that eager honey bee, she couldn’t lay down a book untill she had fully read its contents. The purple book reading mare named Twilight sparkle was the target. The dark form flinched as a pink earth pony walked right past him either oblivious to his existence or not caring about him except for the fact that she accidentally brushed his face with her tail as she passed. The mare then did what she was known for in that idylic little town: doing the most pointless things ever to come to one’s mind. “why is she hiding a ball in that small birdhouse next to her door?”   before closing the door behind her the mare winked in the dumbfounded thief’s direction wispering: “if you’re going to do what I think your going to do, then I better get some  sorry-if-you-didn’t-find-it-funny-cupcakes.” The trespasser raised an eyebrow “okay? I guess..?”  the mare gave a big smile before going inside. He took one more look at Luna’s beautiful night sky admiring its stars before assending and gliding to the second story balcony of the library. Once landed, the previously airborne house raider looked around on the balcony and saw something that almost made him blow his own cover with laughter. Barely containing his giggles. “did she really think a key under a pebble on the balcony wouldn’t be obvious?”  he picked the camouflaged housekey out of the only pebble on the balcony and opened the door into the room where Twilight slept. As he walked in thoughts of doubt ran through his mind, “is this really a smart idea?  I’m sooo dead..  I can do this..  it must be done!”   There he was standing at Twilight’s side only inches away with the horrible tool in his mouth, placing it within his hooves ready to do what had to be done. His left hoof held the item with the  pusher verticaly, his right hoof high in the air. He was ready.. The right hoof started going down with the pusher as its target, as his hoof came down everything appeared to go in slow motion, the hoof came closer and closer. The hoof forcefully pushed the button down. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!” Twilight screamed harder, higher and louder than any royal canterlot voice ever could, easily overshouting anything else that could make astonishing noise. She fell out of bed onto the floor with a painful sounding “thud” The mare was in shock and couldn’t  comprehend, understand or even believe whether or not what had just happened really had happened.  The attacker could only roll on the ground with laughter at the poor purple unicorn’s expense. He could have laughed for hours on end, but understood that staying at the scene of the crime wouldn’t be the smartest thing. He regained his composure before sprinting to the balcony and with a sharp curve flying towards the fountain, where ponies woken up by the scream where gathering to talk about options on how to storm the house and save Twilight from her possible attacker. That person in question in the meantime mingeled with the crowd to evade exposure followed by capture. Although he couldn’t really contain his laughter as the pink pony suddenly out of nowwhere stood right next to him with a tray of cupcakes and a lot of supressed giggles. At that moment Twilight sparkle herself walked out of her house instantly and succesfully pinpointing her fiendisch visitor between the crowd. Although it was hard to wrestle yourself through a crowd that demanded to know if you’re okay, Twilight got through them and tackled the shadow in the night to the ground shouting in his face. “WHAT IN CELESTIA’S NAME DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING! WHY DO YOU PUT AN AIR HORN TO MY EAR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!” The now attacked attacker shook his head to shake the ring in his ear off and fake-smiled as best he could. The grounded suspect and the interigator both blushed largely when somepony in the crowd noticed there “positions on top of one-another” and responded with an embarassing shout out “make out!!”   In a seconds notice the librarian jumped of of her captive and took considerable distance. The crowd of ponies including the assailant and the pink mare instantly started laughing, exept for an obviously annoyed sleepy brown-haired colt with an hourglass cutiemark who decided to just go. Twilight got a cupcake hooved over to her with an apology from Pinkie for not warning her, but warning somepony about a prank was just silly anyway. The dark joker on the other hoof, instead of apologysing splashed fountainwater on Twilight challenging her to come play with him in the fountain. A challenge Twilight was more than happy to comply to, and with a few more misplaced splashes came a few more ponies like the pink pony named Pinkie Pie, Colgate who was avenging her  now soaking wet nightgown, Berrypunch who spilled her booze in the fountain, Raindrops who was staying the night at Derpy’s, Derpy and her daughter Ditzie playing in the fountain for fun, Mayorpony who realy could use some time off and Sweetiebell who went to play eventhough her big sister Rarity said she couldn’t. About forty-five minutes later only four ponies where left: the flooded dark colt, Pinkie Pie, Twilight sparkle and Berrypunch, but she had passed out from to many sarsaparillas. Pinkie would bring berrypunch back home, Twilight said her goodbyes and went back to bed and the contemplating colt thought over the next plan of action.  ”hmmm..  my stomach could use some stuffing”  he started walking towards sweet apple acres to get himself some apples. As the night came to an end so came the start of a new day as the princces of the night “Luna” lowered the moon from sight and the princces of the day “Celestia” raised the sun, bathing Equestria in its beautifully orange light to anounce yet again a new moment to grasp and hold dear. After grabbing a buck load of apples, the splash king started flying back home towards Canterlot castle, aproximately a 6 hour journey by train from ponyville or 4 hours if you go flying with your wings asuming you’re a pegasus or an alicorn. He figured it be best to get home before breakfast, otherwhise there would be trouble to pay. The night pranker started his way to canterlot. After a few hours the flyer rejoiced, a bright smile on his face when he saw the barnhouse on what looked like a big acre, but instead of the luscious plant- and animal life; instead was only dead land with a few in formation hauled rockes. He didn’t care how bad the residents aparrently where at growing vegetables. For all he knew was that in that barnhouse would be somepony to wave welcome to the farmflyer and offer him pie for some reason every time the colt flew by the house. When he touched down, as if on cue two mares ran out of the house. their father was still standing in the doorway. “sooo..  you decided to give us a visit on your way home anyway?” , asked the shy grey mare winking with a small smile.  “inky..?  what else do you think he would be here for this early.. well..?”, scolded her bold dull blue sister.  “w-well..” the father shook his head dismisively at the constantly re-ocurring display of ignorance from his silly fillies while the now less interesting visitor simply blinked in confusion. “hmmm..” after hearing a satisfying click indicating the gears in his head succesfully searching for a plan over his now acceptable options he went for distraction, trying to exesively yawn very loud whilst streching his two wings around the sisters motioning them to go inside. As the mares entered the house a hoof blocked the entrance for the new guide followed by their father wispering in a hushed tone as he glared with his demonic stare: “if you as even touch my girls again in any way, I’ll make a new coat of your pelt. Understood boy?”  a moment of silence fell between the two ponies, giving the intimidated guest a bad feeling of weariness and the scenery of a dead farm wasn’t realy helping. “I guess I can probably resist the urge”   the hoof blocking the path moved out of the way, but upon entering he could still feel that deathstare in his back. Once inside he emediately got a piece of strawberry-pie shoved in front of his face. “all good in ponyville?  And pinkie?” asked the bold sister straight to the point.  “blinky.. there have been no disasters in ponyville for a change and and your sister is still happily random as always, whe played with some others in the ponyville-squere fountain having splash battles.”  “ Really!?” Exclaimed inky. While munching on his piece of pie the messy eater told about the reason for the battle. blinky started lauging pointing a fronthoof at his face shouting: “YOU LITTLE FOAL, hahahahaha. Your whole face is UNDER the strawberry syrup!” suddenly inky stood of his right giggling with a hoofkerchief and a mirror in her hooves, showing the face-covered colt how funny he looked. Inky started gingerly whiping his face clean against his will with the hoofkerchief, with her sister rolling on the ground from the petronisement of the now allmost cleaned unsubmissively strugelling guest refusing anymore emberrasing whiping. “when I was a little foal I used to spill it everywhere too” inky cooëd, only to get him snapping at her “I’m just as old as you! Stop rubbing my face, I can do it myself!” after profused cleaning, joking, apologysing for laughing and giggling the four ponies walked outside. “bye” called the two mares to the now airborn messenger as he quickly flew out of sight. //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch.2 Paying the prize //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch.2 Paying the prize The pie eater flew through canterlot’s magic schield as he entered its airspace and flew to the castle entering one of the highest towers. Once inside he was greeted with the sight of his personal guard Starswhipe, searching for something under the bed before looking back up at him. Eventhough the most guardes where stallions, Celestia had instead decided to give him a female guard hoping that her presence would prevent any boyish-puberty induced idea’s that the tower’s  occupant might could think off. Sadly enough this plan didn’t realy work because he managed to easily avoid and evade her lots of times.  “there you are, do you have any idea how worried I was about you?” the mare softly said in a worried and agrivated tone. “when are you not?” he teasingly said, nudging her to a chair. “relax a little, you take being a guard too serious” he gniffled.  “knock” “knock” Starswhipe rolled her eyes.  “Its my job to guard you, you odd sweettalker. enter!” and with that a royal guard named silver cloud came walking in. “your presence is requested at the dinning room for a royal family meeting”  the invité childishly moaned at the news. “b-but..  silver, I have never had a family meeting before and that sounds sooo.. booooring!”  star nodded at the guard. Silver circled around the now suspicious soon-to-be-luggadge, grabbed his victims tail with his mouth and started dragging the pony down the stairs towards the dinning room. meanwhile Starswhipe contentedly smiled, waving her hoof in the air yelling: “You’re going to be fine!” Silver stopped draping the marble floor with his companion and released his tail, spitting the hairs out of his mouth and leaving the forced thinker to stand in front of the massive spruce-dinner door. Opening it slightly he saw a large hexagonal table with Celestia goddess of the sun, keeper of the holy light, Luna goddess of the moon, protector of the out-of-orbital heaven, Cadence guide of love, savior of prosperity, Blueblood spokesstalion of the nobles, voice of Equestria; and finally Shining Armor captain of the Royal Canterlot Guard, crusher of evil wherever it may hide. All of them sat at one table. Everypony felt it, confrontation was awaiting the last member of the pack. He was dead silent as he tried to walk to his spot at the table as regal as he could. “Dreamweaver, as you know there are four types of ponies: earth ponies who grow our food and run on our ground, pegasus ponies who manage our weather and fly in our sky, unicorns who teach our foals, research magic and cast spells in our world, and then there are alicorns like you and myself. We have been blessed with the best traits of all three races: the muscled body, the wings and the magical horn.”  The room was deserted of ambient noises. Dreamweaver could only guess what was wrong as he grew less and less at ease. The married alicorn Cadence and the unicorn Shining Armor where whispering something to one another. Luna was giving Blueblood the (I hate you but I can’t say it in public) stare, while Blueblood simply flashed an arrogant gesture. The newly arrived alicorn felt the eyes on him yet again as the enlightened princess contineud her story: “You have the ability to retract and extend your horn in and out of your skull without piercing your brains or inflict internal and external damage to your body, making you capable to look like a normal pegasus. Because of this you are allowed to make contact with others outside the castle, sticking to the story that you are a pegasus guard. We heard about the incident in ponyville because of a complaint by one ‘Doctor Whooves’. How could you enjoy yourself like that at our poor Twilight’s expense? Even Though you are the size of an adult pony, you are still young in years. Young Dreamweaver, we expect you to be a gentlecolt and not some loose cannon.”  The guilty one looked like he could slice the table in two with his wings if he would have wanted, but knew that anger wouldn’t solve this. Calmly he let the words sink in and with a resigning huff he said: “I’m sorry I broke into somepony’s home, used the fade to black spell on a mare, blew Twilight awake with an air horn in the middle of the night and caused a splashbattle in the fountain”  It was suddenly very quiet in the room. Luna broke the silence: “Little brother.. we heard you did something to Twilight, that was all we heard. W-wait wait! You broke into somepony’s home and used that spell?”  the now in big trouble, brother quickly jumped out of his chair and galloped back in the direction of his tower. Only to be stopped hovering in mid-air surrounded by a magical blue aura casted by the night princess herself. “Not so fast, if you had not thought about it yet. You won’t go unpunished.” Blueblood got a dark smirk on his face. “I’ll think of a fitting judgment.” The dining room started to look gloomier as white walls turned grey. Candace, Dreamweaver’s surrogate mother expressed a look of sheer panic while trying to come up with a plausible excuse “Luna? The event took place at night so it’s within your jurisdiction, do you think Blueblood should hand out said punishment? Shining Armor is the captain of The Royal Guard. He can probably think of an adequate verdict.. right?” Luna looked at Cadence and Shining armor with understanding, but knew that wouldn’t be enough, knowing Shining’s  kind nature eventhough he was The captain. The white and blue haired stallion looked at his wife. “Where is that beautiful girl of mine getting me into?”  Blueblood was becoming aggravating but remained calm. He was quite straight to the point to cut that idea off before it could develop into reality. His tone was hostile and dark “I’ll have no word of it; I say this is to be resolved at once. GUARDS!” at that Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Shining Armor snapped to attention. Celestia reacted within a blink of an eye. “What he did isn’t that bad.” Celestia knew she couldn’t do much to stop that blond gentlecolt, Luna mentally checked off the incident. there was only one reason why the menacing colt got his way. Cadence looked perplexed. “On what grounds do you take the right to take matters in your own hooves?” Shining Armor sighted defeatedly. “He used that spell, that despicable nightmare of a spell.” Suddenly a bright purple flame conjured a a book into existence. Celestia opened, and slid the open book to Cadence who on her turn started reading the ancient blood stained red book. Fade to Black Allows the user to make it’s target experience a blackout, literally letting the vision of the victim be filled with darkness. Depending on how long the caster casts said spell, the chances of later occurring paranoia, nyctophobia, claustrofobia or even panphobia increase. This spell is mostly used as a tactic to immobilise a hostile individual, but there have been confirmations that it is also very effective as a torture technique. This spell is on the list of banned and never to be used spells. Warning: for least permanent mental damage, only cast for 4 seconds or less. Cadence finished reading the book and shifted her vision to the two guards who had in the meantime tried to pull the frightened dark red alicorn towards the underground jail, located in the crystal caverns under Canterlot Castle. “I s-see..” she closed the book and rested her head on the table. Luna got a scroll hoofed to her by a guard, she breathed in deep before going on: “Anyhow.. I see we have to place some extra security defences within Trottingham Library seeing as the Changeling attack left some Changelings unconsciouse, we managed to capture some for study. There is a chance the swarm will try to get them back.” Dreamweaver struggled against the stronger and bigger royal guardes as he was dragged out of the room with a pleading face towards Celestia, who could only look away. Had she not controlled herself she would have saved her younger brother. Luna had barely looked away from her brother before there were other more pressing matters at hand. Candace felt resentment boil up for Blueblood and decided it would be better if she would do something else, she froze from the painfull sound of finality which came with a bang. Shining Armor tried to focus on the current issue. “I see the need for protection, but why take the Changelings in the first place? Wouldn’t it be wiser if yo..” “BANG” The door had been thrown shut by a light blue magic aura. The illegal spell caster’s heart dropped as soon as the loud bang reached his ears, He was done for. //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch.3 Going in deep //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch.3 Going in deep The soon-to-be-punished pony looked at his punisher with a worried face, but at all cost refused to speak to his adversary. Going down a hallway, down some steep stairs behind a never used cellar door and down more stairs, Blueblood began: “Why do you give me that look? I don’t enjoy this as much as you do you know.. oh alright, it is.. it’s very amusing to say the least. The first thing we do is making sure you don’t escape from your jail before your time is due.”  Dreamweaver looked in confusion and hatred at the arrogant brat. “That’s right.. mister I have weaver in my name so I have to control the fabric of reality!.” Blueblood mocked with considerable sarcasm and a tint of jealousy. They reached a dark cave-like open room with little blood-red glowing crystals, on the opposite wall of where they entered were large carved in jail cells with unrusted but still spiderwebbed dark steel bars. In front of them were three unicorns. “Let’s get rid of your magic, shall we?” the three unicorns shot their magic at dreamweavers horn, while one of the guards put a ruby in the beam of power. The gem started sucking up the magic that was drawn from the immobile alicorn. Small cracks started to appear in the ruby whereafter the ruby incinerated. One unicorn murmured something to the guard, the guard placed a daimond from the unicorns saddlebag in the place where the ruby had been. The magic started to flow into the daimond and after about 3 minutes all three casters ceased their power surge. As the weakened prisoner fell to the ground, he was dragged into one of the cells, with Blueblood’s evil laughter in the background. Everypony moderatly happy with their work left the room except for one guard holding,  what was called by the unicorns the extraction-diamond in his hooves. He admired it as he sat at a little stone table, engulfed by its beauty. The guard put the diamond inside the jail safe and sat in the stone guard’s office chair. Dreamweaver felt cold in the darkness of that depressing prison cell, the mushy ground, the walls littered with spiderwebs and the icy steel ceiling that only held a single red glowing crystal. He felt his weakness... no longer brimming with energy, that powerless horn. Half his life was in that horn his body was blessed with, the only thing he had left now where his wings. his eyes shot open at the realisation, his wings could be his way out if he used his brain. In his free time he appeared to be a pegasus guard, and thus Shining Armor had insisted that the alicorn took a guard’s training. One of the requirements for a pegasus where to be able to cut anything metal with only your wings. Blueblood probably forgot about wingslicing because he as a noble never took such training, and advising thus proving you’re smarter than Blueblood meant losing your job. The alicorn inspected the steel bars more closely, but then he thought about the noise. It would be far too loud of a clank, but there was another way to use his wings. The prisoner bit down on a loose feather, yanked it out of his wing, fiddled with the intricate lock and gave up after a little while. “Oh ponyfeathers” Dreamweaver looked up from the lock, he had heard something. The guard stood up from his stone chair and walked curiously up into the darkness that was the stairs. “Who is there.. wait.. no!” “thud” A helmet rolled down the stairs and landed at the bottem, the detainee saw a bright green flame flare up and vanish again. The guard stepped down the stairs picking up his helmet and putting it back on his head, his eyes shining green. “Hello little sweet talker of mine.” The guard walked towards the table with the safe.  “That voice sounded like Starswhipe, but it was coming from the guard, Starswhipe wasn’t secretly male.. was she.. he?”  the semi-confused jailed shadowy figure pressed his face up against the bars to get a better look. “Starswhipe? Is that you.. w-wait! You’re a dude?!”  he started scrubbing his mouth and spitting on the ground after finishing the question with a look of disgust. The guard instead rolled his eyes, annoyed and became engulfed within the re-appeared green fire. Weaver could only watch in unpleasancy. The flames resided back to the ground again and instead of the big seemingly angry male guard, now stood an even bigger black alicorn with holes within her legs, torn bug-wings instead of feathers, long dark green hair. A jagged-shaped horn glowed with green magic as the cell door was developed with the aura and pulled out completely, opening the way to the now totally-confused jailbreaker. It sneered in a hushed tone at him: “I am not a dude and don’t wash your mouth you ungrateful little insect, It wasn’t that bad!” after walking out of his cage the two dark shadows stood opposite of one another calmly awaiting each other’s reactions “Soooo.. what.. are you?”  “I’m a girl you blind idiot.” the dark red creature stuck his tongue out at the dark green creature “You’re an idiot.” He said in a childish tone. She was taken aback from that. “Well.. now that you know my secret identity yo..” she was abruptly cut off by dreamweaver. “what secret identity?” the perplexed mare wonderingly stared at her companion motioning to herself. He looked her over. “I don’t know you other than that you were my personal guard.” She stammered: “Where you not at the wedding?”  The young colt shrugged it off. “If you mean the royal wedding of Cadence and Shining Armor then no, I was in the Everfree Forest investigating disappearances near Everfree Castle.” She watched with a deep look of understanding until she reached out a hoof with a warm smile on her face. “I guess we can forget the past. I’m Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings.” He looked at her with a smug on his face. “Hopefully not everything.” She blushed heavily at that. Behind her dreamweaver heard something dribble down, when he passed the suspicious queen he saw some kind of green sludge drip from the ceiling. “How did you turn into that guard exactly?” Chrysalis looked a little bit nervous. “there is no time to discuss that, we have to go immediately.” Weaver knew that if that was true they wouldn’t have had the opportunity to talk this long already, but the idea of leaving this place seemed pretty appealing. The changeling queen blocked the path up the stairs with her front leg. “Aren’t you forgetting something my dear?” After thinking for a little bit he ran to the safe with the diamond and sliced it in two pieces with his wings, taking the diamond with him. The thought of being called “dear” felt strange, frankly, going with a strange mare who used to be a familiar mare was even stranger. They went up the stairs together anyway, at the back of his mind dreamweaver felt uncertainty about his new ally. “What would Starswi.. Chrysalis want with a powerless alicorn?” He looked at the energy pulsing diamond in his mouth thoughtfully, playing along would probably be smarter for now. When they made it to the top of the stairs Chrysalis changed back to Starswhipe, winking at Weaver when they approached two strangely green-eyed guards stationed at the cellar door. Starswhipe carelessly walked past the guards as if she wasn’t even there and motioned her “Dear” to follow her. As the guards turned to look at her company he had already launched himself forward at them, smacking one guards head against the wall with his wing. Right when he wanted to attack the other one the room filled with the now familiar green light fading out as quick as it came. The sight before his eyes after he had turned around proved even peculiar than Starswhipe’s other form. There on the ground laid an knocked-out alicorn-like creature but, it had holes, bug wings and a jagged horn as well. This certainly didn’t look like the guard the jailbreaker had just dispatched. A loud sigh could be heard from the female guard afoot of the next staircase. “Are you kidding me? A little trust would be nice…” the remaining guard started laughing and patted the brawler on his back while he blushed at his embarrassment. “Well.. what did you expect me to do?” She merely rolled her eyes at that. After some wake-up slaps from Star, the four ponies went up the stairs where they met up with yet another group of guards with green eyes. They trotted up to the massive spruce door, stopping for Star to peek through the narrow crack between the door and it’s hinges. Still sitting at the table were Celestia, Luna, Shining Armor and Blueblood. She turned around to the dark-red alicorn and kissed him on the cheek, to his surprise the green flames started to vortex around him. He saw his body morph to that of a simple hornless and wingless guard, he still felt them but could not see them. Then it dawned on him. “Change-lings” As they vanished she flung the doors open and shouted “Dreamweaver has escaped!”  The eyes of all the alicorns and unicorns at the table turned to the size of dinner plates at the news. Blueblood shot out of his seat nearly screaming in anger. “How could he have escaped?! You incompetent fools,he couldn’t even use magic.” Without warning Celestia casted a spell creating a wave of magic flowing through the entire room like a tsunami over a city, which made the alicorn in disguise close his eyes from the intensity of the light. When he opened them he saw Chrysalis stand in front of him in her original form yet again. Looking at his own body he noticed he could see his horn and wing again. “Chrysalis?!” Celestia, Luna and Shining exclaimed in unison. Blueblood pointed at the confused pony behind the Changeling queen. “Look, that abominalble filth is working together with that wretched creature. We must catch them!” dreamweaver spoke up confused. “Who do you mean with filth?” Celestia cared not for the answer. “Brother, why is Chrysalis in your presence?” the queen spoke with a comically sneering voice. “Ever heard of kidnapping and ransoming?” behind Luna a door flew open and twelve Changelings ran in followed by a dozen more royal guards. The room flared with magic and all Changelings plus their captive were gone. Celestia, Luna and Shining armor exchanged glances of desperation, Blueblood unimpressively huffed and said what nopony wanted to hear. “Well… we can’t bargain with them at the risk of Equestria, nor can we save him because we don’t know his location. I’m sure he can figure out how to escape the Changelings.” A guard whispered in his ear. “They were in possession of the diamond” Blueblood slammed his hoof on the table in frustration launching a few scrolls through the room. Luna tried to keep the the mood up and asked “Who did you mean with filth?” The colt’s vision was pitch dark but there was a soft echo seemingly distant. “wake up” his vision came back to him and what he saw confused him greatly. He layed flat on a bed made of sticky green slime, looking at the ceiling he could only think of an ant hole. Every surface was covered with dark-green sludge. Atop of him layed a changeling snoozing with it’s muzzel buried in his neck. As soon as the pony serving as a bed tried to move the changeling the changeling looked up, looked him over and crawled of of him. “you’re awake, I was told to keep watch over you.” It spoke in a cheery female voice as it handed him an apple. “I’m Fangs by the way, you have to get out of bed if you want to talk to our queen. She’s waiting in the hatch chamber.” As he got up he whiping off the slime on his limbs and looking at the changeling. She looked like the others except for her hair and a bow in her hair, her hair looked very similair to Chrysalis hair style. “Fangs, why is it so slimy in here?” all he got for an answer was a simple “I don’t know, it’s normal.” The distrustfull pony layed the apple down without even taking a single bit, he walked out the only exit that appeared to be in the room. Once out he was greeted by a large number of tunnels presumably leading to different parts of the sludgy cave. After walking for what seemd like hours  and passing numerous changelings the confused traveller walked into a large room filled with slime dripping cocoons hanging from the ceiling, he flew up to one to have a closer look. The cocoons where filled with ponies. Dreamweaver would have thrown up from the sight had he not been distracted by a noice further back in the room. There was a cocoon that had fallen from the ceiling with a big gash in it. As he saw the slime flow out something in the cocoon started to move, what came out frightened the alicorn. It wasn’t a pony that craweled out of the cocoon, it was a Changeling. //-------------------------------------------------------// ch.4 you don't? //-------------------------------------------------------// ch.4 you don't? His mind raced as hechecked his vicinity. “Is this how they make changelings, will I turn if I come in contact with the slime? I need my magic back.” His eyes whent wide as plates. “my magic.. the diamond, where is the diamond!” the adrenaline pumped colt shot through the tunnels back to the room where he had regained concience and halted before the changeling. “Fangs!” his voice was loud enough to make fangs jump up and hide behind the stone slimey slab where they had slept on earlier. “dreamy, why would you scare me like that?” her tone was desparate and turned into a high pitched whisper. “please don’t hurt me, do you know how hard it is to see you sleeping without cuddeling up with you? I’ll never do it again.” Dreamweaver was silent for a second, then proceeded in a calmer but just as harsh tone. “that’s not what I meant.” He tried to hide a blush. “did I have a diamond with me when I first layed on this bed?” Fangs got up and nervously looked around. “no, I never saw a diamond.” As dreamweaver walked closer fangs backed further up against the wall. Weaver lowered his voice. “are you sure about what you saw?” Fangs pushed the stone tablet in weaver’s direction, dashed past him and ran out of the room. The surprised colt turned around, opened his wings and flew after her at a high speed. One after another changeling got bumped out of the way, either by Fangs magic or by weaver’s wings. He wasn’t paying attention to the tunnels anymore, right or left, as long as he could catch her. With barely any room to flap his wings he curved around a corner, ocean bleu eyes followed their targets. Fangs heartbeat was mile high as she ran for her life from the dark-red raging shadow, destened to probably kill her. Suddenly his vision turned bright green and his flight came to a full stop. Something was wrong… he poked up his head looking for the reason of his stop. He found himself in a dark sphericall room with light-emanating bulges on the wall and a spiraling rock in the middle. The ground was covered in slime wich dimly reflected the yellow bulgelight. Upon looking up he saw a green wall of magic fade away. Fangs voice could be heard infront of him. “he’s getting up again.” The grounded shadow got up, whiped the slime off his coat and looked in the direction of the thieving changeling. Upon the spiraling rock layed the changeling queen with an aluring smile, two ears couls be seen over her back. “I see that you already seduced one of my minions, how was she?” her words may have been meant to tease, but there also was an undertone wich sounded of anger. The recently awoken colt felt his face turn red at her question. “chrysalis, where is my diamond?” her highness rolled with her eyes as her horn started to glow. “let me explain.” Her magic started to glow around him and floated him up to the rock and next to her. He tried to move while she placed him on the rock, but her magic held him in place as she put her hoof around him. Weaver  blushed heavily. He couldn’t move away, no matter how hard he tried. “chrysalis, what are you doing?” Fangs jumped from behind chrysalis and layed down besides weaver, trapping him between her and her queen. “let her explain.” Fangs cowered slightly after receaving an angry look from weaver. The large mare ontop of him nuzzeled his muzzle for attention. “the diamond is in a safe place in my room, why you would want it I don’t understand. You can’t get your magic back yet, so we might aswell keep it safe. She felt how a shock of realisation sparked in his body as he whent numb. With his ears drooped down he looked at the royalty atop him and spoke in a sad tone. “b-but when can I get my magic back?”  the large changeling queen pondered this question and looked at her newly acuired toy. “We first need tofind the unicorns that stole your magic, can you remember their names or appearance?” weaver wiggled slightly. “can you get of me already?!” chrysalis chuckled and petted his head. “just answer the question dear..” the colt thought for a second and spoke slowly. “I heard the guards say their names.. enchantus, encantus and..” weaver contorted his face to a frown as he realised he hadn’t seen the last spellcaster, nor heard his name. “I don’t know anything about the third, but we can probably get his name from the other two.” Fangs layed her head against his neck and spoke cheerfully. “and I’m going to help you in capturing them.” Chrysalis nodded at her and looked at dreamweaver. “in the mean time I’ll give you a decent substitute for your own magic, but only if you promis to be a nice boy and if you do something for me.” Her eyes narrowed to a seductive look and a sneaky smile came on her face. Dreamweaver felt slightly intimidated and wondered what she could possiblt mean with that something. “what do you want me to do then?” she merely chuckeled at his terrified voice when he asked. “when the time is right you will know, now.” the kipnapper whispered in her captives ear. “just say.. I do.” Weaver had a feeling that this would be a problem later. “I do?” he looked at her in confusement as he spoke, wasn’t he supposed to say he promised? Chrysalis on the other hoof seemed straingly happy, as if she had just taken over equestria. The prince felt his lungs deflate as the two mare like creatures surprised him with a cuddle attack. “can’t… breath!” Fangs curled her tail around his and loudly cheered. “and once you are turned I can get hatchlings of my own with you.” Chrysalis stood up in shock. “you want him?!” the dark-red colt untangled his tail and dashed out from underneath her, making sure there was a big distance between them. “once I’m turned?! You are not getting me into on of those cocoons!” fangs jumped from desperation. “but how can we get to those wizards without disquises and how can we be togheter afterwards?” the changeling queen put a hoof to her face in annoyance. “dreamweaver, you are not going to be together and I don’t need to put you in a cocoon to give you changeling magic.” Weaver and fangs simultaniously asked. “you don’t?”
