Resurrection Of Darkness Pt. 1
The moon glistened over Equestria as many ponies went about their business working, eating, or sleeping. It all seemed so calm serene except for one thing. Princess Celestia sighed as she looked over her kingdom from the balcony of her bed-chamber, for the past few weeks she had been plagued by nightmares of her city burning and many ponies suffering as she looked on. She felt a presence enter the room behind her…
“Sister you seem distressed,” Luna said as she walked next to her sister.
“I am Luna I sense the kingdom may be in great danger,” The night princess gave her sister a questioning look.
“Why would Equestria be in danger sister we vanquished Discord and Queen Chrysalis and banished King Sombra what do you fear?”
“My dreams are clouded with a vision of many ponies suffering and Canterlot being put to flames. I feel this may be a vision of things to come.”
Just as she said this, a guard burst through the door his body covered in cuts and his left eye bleeding profusely.
“My lady’s there is an intruder and he is heading for the garden where Discord is kept,” and with this the guard collapse giving into his wounds.
After delivering him to the infirmary the sisters made haste to the garden. The sisters galloped as fast as they could to find the carnage that the intruder left; many guards, some possibly dead laid throughout the castle injured, finally the duo reached the garden where a black pony stood with a cloak covering much of his body.
“Shana hino ta M’ilka Mika ta na,” he spoke in a dark and brooding tone towards the statue of the Draconequus.
“Halt intruder! Stand down or me and my sister will be forced to destroy you!” Princess Luna yelled at the dark pony.
He turned around his face concealed by his cloak except for his eyes which glowed crimson like blood and a thick smoke emitted from them as if they were hollow and filled with immense magical power.
“Ah Princess Celestia and Luna how nice of you to join me in what is the beginning of the end” he said in a calm demeanor.
“What do you mean the beginning of the end?”  He removed the cloak from his face revealing a unicorn with skeletal features his face was devoid of any life except for his glowing eyes.
“My fair princesses you are looking at the resurrection of Lord Discord,” as he said this statue holding Discord began to crack and fall away.
“What have you done?!” Celestia screamed as her horn began to glow she shot off a beam of light towards the statue but it had no effect soon a blood curdling roar was heard and out emerged Discord in all his power.
“My master you have returned now I must bring you your queen,” He narrowed his eyes at Luna.
“NI NO ka  Mitra no mina Sa vietn!” he spoke as his horn glowed then a dark beam shoot from it and struck Luna engulfing her in the blackness.
“Luna what have you done to her?!”
“I have given her other side new life,” he spoke, soon the dark energy faded and there lie two ponies one the princess of the night and the other the incarnation of all the darkness in her heart: Nightmare Moon.
“My queen you have returned now we must leave to bring forth your other servants.” And with this a dark shroud surrounded the three and soon without a trace they were gone, leaving an angered Celestia and a weakened and unconscious Luna.
“Sister what has happened,” the night princess asked as she began to regain consciousness.
“Discord and Nightmare Night have returned we must get the Elements of Harmony come.”
The two teleported towards Ponyville where Twilight Sparkle and the other bearers of the Element’s slept soundly in their homes.
Twilight was sleeping well in her bed, with sweet dreams clouding her mind, when a flash came fourth in her mind.
“Twilight! Wake up!” Twilight jolted up at this sight.
“Princess Celestia?”
“Twilight I am talking to you telepathically. I need you to gather the other elements now!”
The scholarly pony stretched and yawned. “Can’t this wait until morning?”
“No, it must be done NOW!” Celestia said, her voice slipping into the old Canterlot speech.
“Fine.”
It was almost half an hour later that Twilight was able to gather all the others in the library.
“Okay Twilight, what did you have to bother us about at 11:00 at night,” a clearly angry Rainbow Dash asked her friend
“Yeah Twi, did you have to wake us for this?” Apple Jack added.
“Yes I did Princess Celestia contacted me in my sleep and asked me to gather you all here.”
When she said this, a flash of light illuminated the room and appeared the patron rulers of Equestria.
“Thank you all for coming here on such short notice, there has been an incident. A powerful sorcerer has attacked the castle,” Celestia turned towards the group “And released Discord and freed Nightmare Moon from her prison inside Luna’s heart.”
The group let out a collective gasp.
“Now we must find out where he might strike next he’s clearly gathering all our enemies,” Luna added and as if a light bulb went off in Twilights head, she spoke.
“King Sombra!” the seven looked at her with anticipation of her answer.
“He’s clearly looking to bring back all of our greatest foes, so who other than the ex-ruler of the Crystal Empire!”
“Then we have to move quickly, girls meet me at back at the library in one that should give you the time you need to tell your spouses that you’ll be leaving.”
The group stood outside the gates of the Crystal Kingdom after telling their families they might not make it back until morning the group was teleported to their destination.
“Okay girls' first things first, we have to alert my brother of the danger the Crystal Kingdom faces.” The six then raced to the main castle.
“I hope we're not too late.”
