As the relations between Equestria and the griffin tribes degrades, they find themselves dangerously close to the brink of war. Dark secrets are revealed as new foes and alliances emerge. Lives are cut short while the world permanently changes. Amidst it all, love blossoms like flowers in a wasteland. This love quickly becomes threatened by the likes of Changelings, dragons, and other creatures as they are engulfed in the growing conflict.

The mane six find themselves in a race against time to uncover the truth and stop the griffon chief from unleashing his madness--and thus destroying their entire world. Their lives, families, and homes are at stake as the world plunges into chaos.
