Six Months after Rabil's death, Phalanx Spear is contacted by the Equestrian Parliament, who wishes to see him in Canterlot as soon as possible. Reluctantly going, Phalanx learns that they wish for him to train and lead a top-secret elite unit, the Special Equestrian Service, to which he hesitantly agrees.
