I don’t know where to start. There is so much that I feel I need to write, but it’s so hard to even believe that this is real. I guess the best thing to do would be to start off with who I am. My name is James Douglas and the year right now is 2680. I was messing around in a place I shouldn’t have even been in and I found myself transported into this place called Equestria.

I need to get home to where I belong, but I don’t even know how I got here. I really should have listened to the sign that said "do not enter!" I don't know what to do, and I'm not sure how well I can even talk with these ponies. I'm too different, and I was way too different for anybody back home to like me.

The only thing I can do right now is pray to god that I’ll get out of here. I need to go back home, to my mom. I don’t even think god cares anymore, to be honest. If he cared about humanity he would not have allowed the world to crumble. I guess I should look on the bright side, though. I’m with a friendly group of creatures and I’m not dead…

I really don’t know what to think anymore.
