Twilights final fight

It began when I was just a filly when I was enrolled into as princess Celestia’s protégé. I can’t remember what happened except for the crazy uncontrollable magic that I had. The whole time I was scared of what would happen and my magic just took control of my body. As if, as if it had a life of its own. Then when Celestia sent me here to Ponyville to fight nightmare moon, there was definitely something that she wanted me to do. Then after fighting discord my mind has gone darker seeing that there is something that my power is here for. But for what I have always been trying to find out. Thank goodness for my friends who have been helping me and cheering me on while I have been practicing my magic. And spike that crazy little love crazed dragon. He has been there for me since the beginning even when he grew old enough to know the story of what is going on. After facing king Sombra I knew that I was very close to what she has been testing me for. Now here I stand in the center of Ponyville. Trying to make sense of what I see standing in front of me, the fight that Celestia has been training me for is finally here but I don’t know for what. My name is Twilight Sparkle and I am a pony of the last family of Star Swirled the Bearded. The most powerful wizard to ever roam the land of Equestria, I am a direct path of the power that he withheld and the banned wizards and witches of the past. If I fall then the line of magic will end. But I never thought that this would be what my friends and I would have to face. This thing standing before me is nothing but a haze phasing in and out of reality showing the biggest fears of anypony known in history. Even Discord, Sombra, and Chrysalis have fears. But they are so dark that it makes the cruelest person in your realm to be nothing but a fake. How do I face fear itself? It makes no sense on how anypony can possibly face it. Yes I did say fear, the most unearthly thing ever to be faced. Even though you are supposed to face your fears, that is because it is one measly fear compared to the thousands and thousands of fears that have already been fought as well as the ones that haven’t been fought. If this force is unleashed within Equestria then all hope is gone. It is up to me and the girls who hold the elements of harmony and my brother and sister to tear down this enemy. We are all that is left standing between order and chaos I don’t know what we will be facing and I don’t care. We have to go in there and face the darkness of fears. Without courage we are nothing. Taking one last look at the girls and turning to spike who is sitting on my back and getting a nod of agreement to charge I take one step before I see two others charge into the haze of fear. I notice quickly that one is an Alicorn and the other a Unicorn. Before they jump in I realize that the Unicorn has blue hair and my heart starts to slow. He turns at the last second and winks at me with a smile. Then jumps into the haze. Without thinking I charge in and I hear the girls following me. I charge with no fear for the first time in my life and head directly into the haze that is fear itself. When I begin to cross the line of reality and illusion I can feel my heart being torn from my body and then thrown back. Then I can feel the sense of courage and happiness being torn away as if they were just distant memories. I turn back to see how the others are doing and they look completely dazed as if in a trance that you can never get out of. They turn to me and there color completely drains from their and they give me one last smile before I see them combust in front of me. I scream and try to run back but feel my body begin to heat and then I turn back. When I look back it is as if I haven’t even left Ponyville but there is an eerie feeling to it as if a veil is covering a secret withheld in the town. I turn back to see if I was just imagining things but I don’t see the girls. Then I hear a burp and a scroll hits me in the head. Forgetting spike is on my head I jump up and accidentally knock him off my back. “Hey what was that for Twili?” He says to me rubbing his head as he stands up. I look at him with a sheepish grin then almost instantly turning into a hopeful squeal and then she runs up and hugs him. Spike tries to push away but after the third try he gives up and lets her hug him. When she lets go he looks up at her and she smiles at him. Tears flaring up in both eyes. She turns and runs to grab the scroll and reads it. When she turns her attention back to Spike she almost tears up. “Read it Spike it might be the last time we see them.” She hand the scroll over to him and he sees a picture of every one of his friends. Including Cadence and Shining Armor. Below it reads, ‘This is the last note that you will ever be able to see as well as the only hint. The first clue stands behind the strand of what this is made of. And the first puzzle piece is hidden behind the carousel of wonder. With these words of hope I can’t wait to meet you and finally kill you. Twilight Sparkle.’

Spike begins to tear up as well and tosses the scroll on the ground. He looks up at Twilight and notices that she is staring at it. When Spike looks down at it he sees it twisted up and he notices that there are images being shown. When he picks it up a massive grin crosses his face and he looks at Twilight. “Do you know what this means Twilight?” Spike says and Twilights eyes sparkle with a glimmer of hope then speaks back, “Yes we have a map of where in Equestria we are and how to figure out the clues. Do you remember what to first clue said Spike?”

Spike nods and jumps with joy then untwists it and begins to read again before noticing there is something different.
