Chapter 1 - Crash landing
"Uuuuuuuuugh" sighed Sora. It was taking time to get back to Hollow Bastion and patient Sora was becoming impatient Sora.
"Donald, how much longer?" said Sora.
"Another few hours Sora" said Donald.
"Ugh." Sora had just sealed the key hole in Pride Lands and was getting used to his human body again and could only love his new keyblade. As he look outside all he could see was space and after going to the restroom returned to his post. When he looked down at his computer he saw a red dot.
"Hey Donald."
"Yea Sora?"
"Umm there's a planet we missed."
"What, that can't be right, we didn't see a new path unlock."
"I know but the radar shows a planet."
"Well, we don't know whats there do we?"
"Nope but I want to check it out."
"You can't be serious Sora we never even heard of this planet before."
"Well what do you think Goofy?"
"I think its a great idea he-yuck." said Goofy.
"Then its settled lets go" smiled Sora jumping into the air excitedly.
The gummy ship's path rerouted and they were now on a intersecting course
with a very colorful planet.
Meanwhile in Ponyville, a certain blue pegasus was having a strange dream.
"ugh"
Usually when I wake up I am pretty well rested but now I feel terrible.
"Ok this is not my room."
Surrounding Rainbow was nothing but black space except for under her was a stained glass pillar with a picture of Fluttershy with her woodland creatures in separate little circles around her.
So much to do, so little time... said a voice
"What who's there" Yelled Rainbow
Take your time, don't be afraid... said the voice again.
"Me, scared, please do you know who I am."
The door is still shut, step forward can you do it? asked the voice
"Alright i'll play your game" Rainbow said stepping forward
Power sleeps within you, if you give it form, it will give you strength... as the voice said this three stands popped out of the ground each with a different item on them. One had a sword on top , another a wand, and the last had a shield on it .
Choose wisely...
" Whoa. the sword looks cool. " She says as she flew over to it picking it up.
The power of the warrior, invincible courage. A sword of terrible destruction. Is this the power you seek?
"Sure. Be cool to have a sword like this." she says suddenly the sword then magically turns into an orb as Rainbow absorbs it. "Where did it go !?!" Gasped Rainbow.
Your path set. Now, what will you give up in exchange...
"Well, I think its obvious that I cant use magic so i'll get rid of the wand." She says as she flys to the wand.
The strength of the mystic, inner strength. A staff of wonder and ruin. You give up this power?
"Yes"
You've chosen the power of the warrior, and given up the power of the mystic. Is this the form you choose?
"Yes"
Suddenly all three of the stands sink back into the ground and the glass floor shatters.
"ahhhhhhh" Rainbow screams as she plummets into darkness.
She then sees a another pillar this one purple with twilight on it with books and stars in other circles.
As rainbow gets closer she starts two slow her plummet and is able to land softly on the glass floor.
"Whoa. This is pretty cool."
The sword appears in front of rainbow floating. Take hold of it. Rainbow bites onto the sword to hold it in her mouth. You've gained the power to fight. Try out the sword.
Rainbow swings the sword around for a bit getting used to the feeling of it between her teeth.
Alright you've got it. Use this power to protect yourself and others.
Their will be times you have to fight...Suddenly a multiple little black creatures come out of the floor.
Keep you light burning strong and fight.
The creatures leap at her. Rainbow not wanting to die closed her eyes and slashed at the nearest little creature. She opens her eyes to the sound of something disappearing seeing that all that was left of the creature was a little dark smoke .
With this she grins and destroys the rest of the little creatures. After killing all the creatures the floor is smothered in darkness and Rainbow is dragged underneath to find yet again she is on another glass pillar this one pink with pinkie pie on it and sweets and candies surrounding here.
"Ugh, how many more times are you going to do this."
She spots a door and walks over to it she tries to open it to no avail.
"Why can't i open it"
Out of no where a chest appears. This chest is locked up tight put with the power in your sword you can open it.
Rainbow dash trots over to it and touches it with sword and after that the door sparkles.
Rainbow opens the door to find a white light on the other side. Without dash knowing she walks through the door only to find shes at the center of ponyville with derpy, Lyra, and cherilee next to her.
Hold on the door won't open just yet. First, tell me more about yourself
Suddenly cherilee speaks up "What's most important to you? Being number one, friendship, or prize posseions."
"Friendship."
"Is having friends such a big deal?"Cherilee says as she fades away.
Next was Lyra's turn "What are you afraid of? Getting old , being different, or being indecisive?"
"Getting old"
"Gettin' old? Is that really so scary?"Lyra asks as she too fades away.
And now Derpy "What do you want out of life? Seeing rare sights, broadening your horizon, or to be strong?"
"To be strong."
"To be strong huh" says Derpy as she lastly fades.
And in a flash of light Rainbow is in a new place. This time on an orange glass pillar with a picture of Applejack on it with tons of apples around her.
Another battle with the little creatures ensues this time she gets hit a bit. After the battle is over a white and green light shows up on the floor and rainbow goes and stands on it suddenly rejuvenated by the light and she feels much better.
After healing another pillar appears far away and and stained glass path leads up to it.
"Guess i'm walking" says Rainbow as she breaks into a sprint. As she reaches the pillar she sees it is also purple but this one as Rarity on it and she is surrounded by jewels of many colors.
A light shines down from the sky in the middle of the platform. Rainbow watches the light in the sky as she steps closer to it.
The closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes.
A giant shadow of rainbow dash appears on the floor and it seems to be moving. It seems to be getting up.
"Oh my gosh that's really big." says rainbow backing away.
But don't be afraid.
"Who said I was afraid." Said rainbow as her knees wobbled.
and don't forget... all the while this was happening the shadow was transforming into a huge being.
suddenly a huge empty heart shape form on its back that went all the way to the other side of its body.
Seeing this Rainbow ran to the edge of the pillar and looked down only to see darkness.
And now black tendrils formed the shadow pony's mane that wrapped around its face. It's eyes becoming golden sockets.
It reared back and stomped on the ground. The sword appeared in front of Dashie and she knew it was time to fight. The dark pony then collected dark energy in to one of its tendrils and sent the tendril into the ground. Dashie saw it as a chance and then ran to hit it getting off a few hits, she then realized that it had summoned some of the small creatures from before, from the darkness it had put on the ground. Dash disposed of them and then went to hit the giant's leg.
Realizing she was doing no damage to it she decided it was best to hit it on the head. She prepared her wings and then flew for the head dodging the tendrils that tried to swat her out of the air when she reached the head she went on a spree of hits till the creature was defeated.
The creature though defeated had now put rainbow in a dark trap. As it watched Rainbow the voice came back and spoke to her.
.....but don't be afraid... as he was saying this the darkness was wrapping around the pony's legs.
You hold the mightiest weapon of all. Rainbow tried to crawl out of the darkness but could not budge.
So don't forget: You are the one who will save him over all.Rainbow then blacked out.
"Ok Sora the planet is in range for viewing." said Donald.
"Sweet." Sora says as he jumps out of his chair and runs for the window. Too his surprise the planet didn't look that special.
"Well its still in need of help, right?" sighed Sora says slumping back in his chair.
"Lets see. The computer doesn't detect any heartless or nobodies on the planet. So we don't have to go do we?"
"Well, it doesn't have any heartless so yea i guess we can leave." said Sora sadend that there was nothing to do here.
" Alright i'm pulling out. ... Uh oh." said Donald
" Wait , whats the matter." said Sora worriedly
"It seems that our controls are jammed." said Donald.
"Well can we fix it?"
"Well usually yes."
"Then why can't we fix it now."
"Because the gummy ship is plummeting towards that planet!"
"Oh... oh no."
"ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" screamed the crew as the gummy ship was on a crash course straight for the surface.
"Everyone brace for impact" yelled Sora
Everyone gets down and holds onto what ever his near them. The gummy ship burns into the atmosphere and crashes out in the middle of a apple farm.
"Is everyone alright?" Goofy called
"I'm fine" said Sora moving some rubble out of the way.
"I'm certainly ok but the gummy ship isn't it seems." Donald said looking at the crater they were in.
The resulting Crater was large and very wide reaching out for a little bit. Sora could guess people were already on their way.
"Donald did you know if anything lived on this planet?"asked Sora.
"Umm Sora I think your answer is behind you." said Donald gawking at the sight of what seemed to be seven ponies and a baby dragon standing at the rim of the destruction.
"ummm Hi."said Sora as he turned around and saw the sight before. Oh this is going to be a long day.
"ahhh" Rainbow awakes in her bedroom in cold sweat.
"ugh oh it it was only a dream." Rainbow said panting from exhaustion.
"but it all felt so real." Rainbow walked to the bathroom took a shower and brushed her teeth immediately thinking of a certain pony. She walked towards the stairs only for the last time she hears the voice.
if you will it to be there it will become there. Hearing this made rainbow stumble again looking around but this time. She thought in the corner of her eye a black hooded creature standing tall. But she looked there again to find no one was there.
'Did he mean my sword???' Rainbow thought to herself. So Rainbow tried to call for the sword in her mind hoping for it to appear. Only the sword did not appear but something else did.
Instead of the sword she had saw before in her dream she saw a blade that resembled a "key". There was a lighting bolt that caught her eye it was the same color and style that resemble her element's jewel. Beside the jewel were two wings that extended and a golden brass hilt protected the grip of the sword. The actual blade of the sword was a white column that rose into a cloud, and around this column was a blue, yellow, and red rainbow that went into the cloud and came out the other side as a lightning bolt. The blue pegasus was astounded by the look of her sword she did not notice the stairs in front her and went tumbling down making her a very upset pegasus.
"ugh really. But still wow that thing looked amazing. I can't wait to show my friends, but first its time for breakfast."
After eating the blue pegasus bolted out of her house to first show off to her rival. Applejack.
Soon she reached the red farm and saw that the whole crew was thereon the farm. "wow this is going to be a piece of cake."
"Hey everypony how's everyone feeling?" Rainbow said swooping in looking as cool as possible.
"Oh hey Rainbow we were just talking about the next big harvest and seeing how we can help." said Twilight.
"Eeyup. We are gonna need all the help we can get. Would you like the help to Rainbow?"said Big mac in his big deep manner.
"Sure i'd love to help." Said Rainbow.
"So what's up with you Dashie." said a bouncing pinkie pie.
"Well actually thats what im hear to show ya." said Rainbow.
"I present to you my new --"Rainbow was caught of bye the sound of something big.
"Oh my ." said Fluttershy "Look" said spike pointing towards a big what looked to be a building flying through the sky.
"It looks like its going to crash in the northern apple trees." said Applejack.
"After it!" Yelled Twilight. Everyone dashes after it. Just as it seemed they had caught up to it it crashed into the ground making a huge explosion.
"ahhhh" said rarity as she is blown into a tree.
After the shock wave was over everyone went to the rim and looked in. There they saw 3 creatures standing in rubble.
"Umm Sora I think your answer is behind you." One of them said this one looked kinda like a duck Fluttershy thought but couldn't be sure.
Slowly the one that was standing turned around and said." Umm Hi." He said with a terrible poker face.
'Well this is going to be a long day' thought Rainbow.
But unaware to either of the sides something lurked inside one of the apple tree watching and waiting to make his appearance known.

Chapter 2- A Keyblade Warrior?!?
"Umm hi" said Sora turning to see the sight Donald was talking about.
Big Mac immediately broke away from the pack charging ahead. Sora saw this and moved out of the way.
"Whoa buddy. Calm down for a sec." Said Sora. But it seems Sora wasn't getting too him as he attacked Goofy.
"Well Donald, it seems we will have to fight." Sora said getting ready.
"WAAAIT" said one of the ponies coming down the rim. She was orange and had a blonde mane and tail, and seemed to have a stetson on top of her head. "Brother, what the hay are y'all doin." She said getting in front of the Red stallion.
"Get out the way sis I don't want you getting hurt." said Big Mac as he bucked up.
"What, are you going to hurt me" she said jabbing her hoof into his front.
"Umm umm no... nope." Big Mac said now realizing what he had gotten himself into.
"Then why the hay are you attacking these little critters that haven't even shown one kind of a threat." Applejack said starring menacingly into Big Mac's eyes.
Big mac pulled Aj into a hug and said " Because I was scared they were going to hurt my little sister." Aj returned the hug "But i'm still mad at you. Now apologize to these people."
Big mac looked over at the gummy ship crew and said "I'm sorry for attacking you" with a "I'll kill you if you touch my sister" look.
"It's ok. I understand where you come from." Sora said thinking back to Kairi.
"So who are you people?" said Twilight.
"Sora.""Donald.""Goofy." Each of them said respectively. Then they looked at each other giggling realizing how dumb they looked. "And who are you guys?" asked Sora.
"ahem i'm Twilight Sparkle, nice to meet you. That's Applejack and her older brother Big mac." She said pointing towards the the two siblings.
"Howdy." said Aj.
"That's Rainbow Dash." Twilight said pointing towards the mare with the rainbow mane.
"The one and only." She said with a sly grin.
"That's pinkie pie umm you may want to cover your ears real quick."
"Why---" Sora tried to get out why but it was too late.
"Hiimpinkiepieitsnicetomeetyouiveneverseenyoubeforeandisthisthefirsttimeyouvebeento
equestriaooooooicanthrowyouapartyforwelcometoequestriaigottogosetupbye." the pink pony talked so fast she must have sugar injected into her and as soon as she started she finished and ran off somewhere.
"Wow" Sora said.
Twilight giggled and continued "This is Rarity."
"Hello and let me say Sora I do love your clothing." Rarity said looking over the style of clothing.
"And this is Fluttershy." pointing to the pony behind her
"ummm hi...." Fluttershy said as quietly she could.
"uh it's ok you don't have to be scared of me i'm not gonna hurt ya."
"meep." squeaked Fluttershy.
"Hey, you better watch yourself pal." Rainbow said getting into Sora's face
Sora fell over backwards onto his back and looks left.
"and this is Spike" said twilight pointing at the little dragon next to him.
"Hiya."
"Well introductions are out of the wa--- WATCH OUT!" yelled Sora as he pushed Twilight out the of the way of a soldier heartless.
"Heartless!" Donald says blasting the soldier off Sora.
Sora summons his keyblade. "Donald I thought you said there was no heartless here."
"They must have followed us through space." Goofy said while bonking a shadow with his shield.
"Thunder" Yelled Sora and from out of nowhere three lightning bolts struck down the heartless. The final shadow sticks to the floor and gets past Sora. "Look out!" Yelled Sora as he tried to catch it.The shadow comes out of the floor and jumps at the mane 6. Rainbow see she's in trouble and calls for help from her sword.'Soaring Loyalty' She called in her mind and in a flash it was there. 'Time to act quickly' she thought grabbing the weapon in her teeth and slashing at the shadow. Of course the shadow disappears but the weapon has caught everyone's eyes.
"That's a keyblade." Said Donald.
"A 'key' what" Rainbow said after letting go of the sword, letting it float there.
Sora steps forward putting his own keyblade up. "The keyblade is a weapon of light or darkness. You can't have one without the other. What you saw us fighting were heartless, beings without hearts,and darkness in their place. The Heartless have great fear of the Keyblade. That's why we fight them. I, am a keyblade warrior, I wield the keyblade and fight these heartless to save the light. The Keyblade has the power to lock and unlock the locks in people hearts and seal keyholes in different worlds. The key has a mind of its own and will choose its master. When you are chosen heartless will always be after you, to try and stop you and kill you. The Keyblade chooses its master. And it chose you."
"Whoa." Rainbow says looking at her keyblade.
"Rainbow, where did you get that?" Twilight gawked.
"I had this weird dream last night. I had a sword and those creatures were in it. And there was also this voice and you guys were pictures on these huge stained glass floor. And there was this huge dark pony that had a whole in a shape of a heart through its body" Rainbow explained of what happened last night.
"Hey i had that dream once." said Sora.
"Yeah, sure ya did. Anyways after i brushed my teeth in the morning the voice told me to call for it and when i did it appeared in front of me." said Rainbow.
"Well that's all fine, but we should tell Princess Celestia about you guys." Said Twilight .
"Who is she? A ruler of some sort?" Asked Sora.
"She is the ruler of Equestria and the person who raises the sun everyday." Said Twilight.
"Wow that is pretty high so where does she live lets head there now." said Sora starting off.
"whoa buddy if we were surprised by your look than what would everypony else think?" said Aj stopping him.
"Then what do you propose?"asked Sora.
"Well I say we sneak you to Twilight's house in a cart of apples and contact Celestia from there."
"Ok i'm down for it. Where is the cart?"asked Sora climbing out of the pit
"Right in front of the farm. Big Mac will you pull it for me it will be too heavy for me to pull it so?" Aj asked chuckling nervously to herself.
"Eeyup." said Big Mac hooking himself up to start pulling the wagon.
"Alright climb in and don't come out until we tell ya to." Aj said as the three of them got into the cart.
"Ok, Everypony, let's go." Twilight said moving towards the house.
Later during the ride.
Under all those apples was a cloth blanket with three things talking under it.
"Hey Sora, whats with you clothes, why didn't they transform you into a being familiar in this place?"
"I have no idea why they didn't transform me. Do you feel any different Donald?"
"There is definitely a lot of magic here and he probably has put your clothes on the fritz and WE JUST CRASHED." Donald said almost yelling and they could hear Twilight outside shushing them.
"Yeah i guess when we entered a land of so much magic i guess it put most of my magic and powers to a stop but we will just have to test what works won't we." Sora said immediately thinking of training.
"ugh" Donald said.
"Guys just relax till we get to this chicks house." Said Goofy being lazy.
"yeah your right probably should relax."
Quiet was the cart again.
"Ok guys come on out" Twilight called.
The gummy ship crew crawled out of the cart not happy about how bad they felt.
"That felt terrible" Sora said cracking his back.
"You guys just sit down while i write this." Twilight said.
"Alright." he said sitting on the couch.
He noticed the blue mare from before was watching you.
"Don't try any funny business."
'Well someone is hostile I think i'll take a nap' Sora thought as he sat back closed his eyes and dozed off.
Chapter 3 - Training
Not soon after Sora fell asleep, he was awoken to the sound of someone yelling at him.
"Wake up. I want you to help me." yelled Rainbow Dash poking him in the chest.
When she saw him start to stir she gave the poking a rest and backed away letting him get up.
"What do you need help with?" Sora asked rubbing his chest.
"I want to learn how to fight with this." Rainbow said calling out her keyblade.
"Oh why didn't you say so." He said bouncing up.
"Come on Goofy and Donald." Calling his friends, while heading outside.
"Whoa now, ya can't go outside, what if somepony saw ya." Applejack said.
"Well we can't train in here."
"Actually I think I might have a spell for this." Twilight said looking through her books.
"What is it?" Donald asked.
"No the spell makes a door and the door goes to this big open area." Twilight said throwing 'Magic 101' over her shoulder. "Ugh ... Spike!" she called.
"I found it." He said pulling out a book with a yellow cover.
"Thank you, Spike." pulling the book with Spike to her.
"Let's see... Ah-ha." She said flipping through the pages. Her horn starts too glow and suddenly a door appears in front of her.
Sora looks inside to see a dark meadow and the sky didn't seem any brighter.
"Well i guess this will work for now." Sora said as he and Rainbow, Donald, and Goofy walked through into and entirely new place.
A couple of minutes after the door closed everything was quiet. Twilight had returned to her work, and had sorted out the books when a knock came to the door.
"It's open" she called as she came down the stairs.
Coming through the door was Princess Celestia.
"Oh, Celestia, I didn't think you would get here so quickly!" Twilight said rushing to her teacher.k
"Well, Twilight Sparkle, when I hear about a new species in Equestria. I would like to see it immediately. Speaking of which where is it now?"
"Umm, about that let me explain everything before we go get him." Twilight said with a sheepish grin."
"Alright."
"Ok first of all the creature calls himself Sora and he came with two other beings named Donald and Goofy. Second they came from this big building that crashed into the ground and we found them in a crater. Third the one called Sora has this "keyblade" that he used to kill these black things called "heartless" and apparently Rainbow Dash also has a keyblade. Now Rainbow asked help from Sora on how to use it so Sora wanted to go train Rainbow Dash so I used this spell to give them a place to train." She said as she showed her the spell.
"Wait. You casted THIS!" the princess gasped.
"Yeah I casted this spell. I've done it before and all it was, was a meadow."
"Cast the spell now we have to get them out of there!" Princess yelled.
"Why what's happening princess?" Twilight said charging her horn.
"You sent them into an alternate dimension."
"You sent them to a place filled with hate."
As she said this the door was summoned and she glared at it.
"You sent them to ----!" Celestia was caught off guard by a piercing scream coming through the door.

Chapter 2.5 - Letter to the Princess
"You guys go sit down while I write this."
"Alright"
'ok lets write this letter.' she thought
*( Dear Princess Celestia,
This is your faithful student Twilight Sparkle. I am writing you this letter to inform you there is a new creature in ponyville. It is an entirely new species, and I wish you to come and investigate this it came with alot of other things. Please Princess this is urgent.
