I Can't Take It Anymore

"Don't you think that it will be better if you talk to your friends to help you?" Samphy asked as we galloped to the park.

"I don't think they'll help me. I kind of hurt their feelings." I replied. I felt the cold wind as the sun slowly set. "The sun is slowly setting, what time is it anyway?" I thought to myself. As soon as we reached the park, Samphy err... I mean my brother and I searched for Amabel.

"Meet me at the entrance of the park if Amabel isn't in the park." Samphy instructed me. I nodded as we split up.

"Okay, where could Amabel possibly go?" I said to myself. My hooves were shaking in frustration as I think of the places where I could find Amabel. "Right, the first place where I found Amabel." I felt a bit of hope. I quickly rushed towards the spot where I first found Amabel, but sadly, she wasn't there. "Amabel must knew that I was going to search her here first." I saw two ponies, sitting at the bench near where I found Amabel. I quickly trotted towards them. "Um... Excuse me?" I asked the two mares. The mare with a lyre cutiemark raised her eyebrow at me. "Have you seen a mare with a brown fur and a darker brown colored mane and tail?"

"Sorry mister, but I haven't seen her." the mare replied. She turned to her friend who were sitting beside her. "Hey Bon Bon, have you seen any mares with a brown fur and a darker brown colored mane and tail passing by?" the other mare shook her head.

"Thanks for the information." I replied to the two mares. "Where could she even go?" I thought to myself as I left the two mares. I scanned the other parts of the park, but still no luck on finding Amabel. I went back where I should meet Samphy if I couldn't find Amabel. I saw Samphy standing at the entrance of the park. "Have you found her yet?" I asked Samphy.

"No, I think we should really ask your friends for help now." Samphy suggested. I just nodded since I don't have any other choices. We quickly galloped towards Berry's house.

"Please forgive me Berry." I whispered as soon as I saw Berry's house. I knocked at the door of Berry's house as hard as I could. In just a few seconds Berry answered the door.

"Oh, its you." Berry said with a disappointed face.

"I know you are angry at me but I really need your help on finding Amabel." I said to Berry.

"Why don't you ask your other friends to help you?" Berry closed the door, but Samphy held the door open.

"Please Berry, help my brother." Samphy asked politely.

"Brother?" Berry raised his eyebrow.

"Yes, he is my brother." Berry's jaw dropped."Just help us find Amabel," Samphy begged.

"I'm sorry, Samphy is it? But I just don't want to." Berry closed the door in front of us.

"I told you he wouldn't help me, even the others will just say the same." I murmured. "It's no use, why would I even bother? It went so well, but at the end, it went downhill."

"Don't give up brother, I'll always help you." Samphy patted me. "Go back inside your home and I'll find Amabel for you." Samphy walked away from me, but I grabbed him on the tail before he could leave me.

"I wanted to ask you something first?"

"Sure, ask away." Samphy replied with a smile.

"How did we get separated?" Samphy stared at me blankly. "I just wanted to know."

"Well it's hard." Samphy scratched his head. "When you were still a foal, I always watch mother and father fight each other. I would always carry you away from them when they are fighting. You were always crying when you hear the angry voices of mother and father, so that is why I carry you inside of my room and then tuck you to sleep. After a few months of mother and father fighting, they finally decided that they should get separated. Father brought me with him to Manehattan. But father couldn't bare the pain of not seeing you and mother, so he would always drink at a bar in Manehattan. After another year, we moved to Ponyville for our father's new job, but it didn't end so well. He couldn't carry all of the problems on his own, so he committed suicide, and then-." I cut his words.

"Our father committed suicide?" Samphy nodded. "So you were left alone?" Samphy nodded again. "Then it must be hard for you to live on your own?" a tear formed on my eye. I felt a sudden guilt in my heart, thinking that some of it was my fault.

"Yes it is brother, but Amabel changed my life. I didn't mean to hurt her."

"Me too, but it just slipped away."

"I know you didn't mean to." Samphy wiped the single tear on my eye. "Don't worry, I'll find Amabel. Now rest inside of your home. I know you are feeling a lot of problems right about now." Samphy smiled at me. Samphy galloped throughout Ponyville in search for Amabel. I went inside of my house, with a hole left in my heart. Left inside of my house, speechless after knowing how much pain Samphy, my long lost brother felt.

"I just couldn't take this anymore." I said to myself. "Our father committed suicide because he couldn't face the problems?" those words clang in my head. "Looks like I'm going to meet you now father." I chuckled like a deranged pony. I rushed upstairs and then grabbed a long towel. I went back downstairs and then head to the kitchen. I stood on the table to tie the end of the towel at a lamp shade. I wrapped the towel around my neck and then gave it a secure knot. "I'm coming father." I kicked the table away. I felt myself getting strangled, each passing moments I became breathless. In just a few seconds, I finally passed on. "Father." my final words.
