The fear of a fun day.

(Inspired by DontWannaKnow's fic, A fun day, but with a nicer, almost true to canon approach.)
Scootaloo was turning back and forth in her cloud bed, suffering another nightmare! This time, this is something, much more evil than the one about Cupcakes, the Rainbow Factory, the Rocket to Insanity, or even Scootaloo the Sadist! It involved her suffering at the hooves of the main 6, even, by her own adoptive sister, Rainbow Dash. She was sexually tortured and gored, and then baked into a cake. The worse part, this attack was first done in public, and in broad daylight! But the passing ponies hadn't cared! Scootaloo was tortured in ways unspeakable, and the main 6 just, enjoyed themselves like the bitches they are!
Scootaloo awoke quickly as she was slammed into the oven and made into a cake! Scootaloo was panting in panic. Scootaloo was frightened by this dream more than the other ones. This one looked all too real. Scootaloo realized that she lives in one of the homes of her would-be killers, and decides to run away, err, fly away, well, maybe use Tank the helicopter turtle to fly away from home. Scootaloo got up and went to find Tank. Sure enough, she found Tank sleeping. Thanks to a permanent cloud spell by Twilight, Tank is able to live with Rainbow Dash aside from just using the gizmo and waste battery.
Scootaloo said, "Hey tank, wake up."
Tank pokes his head out and looks at Scootaloo, with a calm but curious gaze.
Scootaloo said, "I know you're curious of what I am doing up so late, but I need help! I think Rainbow may be out to get me! So may I please have your help."
Tank was more confused than concerned. He heard what Scootaloo said, but figures that it's just ponies being ponies reacting to a nightmare. If only she was able to understand a word Tank might say.
Scootaloo hopped onto Tank and started the motor! And before Tank could resist, they were off! Scootaloo somehow hard-wired tank's propeller and they were already outside. Scootaloo said, "I can't let Rainbow Dash have the chance to hurt me! No, I won’t!" Tank rolled his eyes.
Later that morning.
Rainbow Dash awoke.
Rainbow Dash yawned. She said sleepily, "Today's the day of the "Best Little Squirt" day we have planned for Scootaloo. It's gonna be SO awesome." Rainbow Dash got up and flew. She reached Scootaloo's room. She opened the door and said, "Scootaloo, rise and shi-"
She gasped! Scootaloo was gone! Rainbow Dash said disappointedly, "Scoots, Scoots, Squirt, Kiddo?"
Rainbow Dash looked all over her cloud home, but finds no traces of Scootaloo, or for some reason, Tank. Rainbow Dash said, "Why would Scootaloo run away, err, fly away, err, well, use Tank to get away from home? Did she have another nightmare about something?" Rainbow Dash is aware of Scootaloo's problem of being tortured by rather, mature nightmares of death, horror, and psycho ponies. This must be a result of a new, never before seen nightmare. Rainbow Dash, never really the one to think things through, flew out to seek out her friends!
At the Ponyville local park.
A party for a special little filly was being made. Twilight was organizing the whole thing, being the "Egghead" and all. Pinkie of course had decorations to set up, never the one to pass up a party.
Fluttershy gathered around Scootaloo's friends and classmates (with exception of Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon due to apparent rivalries) as they sat at the picnic tables. Rarity, being the perfectionist, was making "Minor adjustments" to the decorations that seem "out of place" and replaced it with a more fitting and stylized décor.
Applejack was preparing the snack cart, with all the apple based treats placed neatly together, next to Pinkie's greatest cake creation, a near clone of the cake seen in that Cake mystery episode.
Applebloom and Sweetie Belle looked with mouths a smiling gape with drool present. Twilight walked up and said, "Easy girls, I know that cake is tempting, but not until Scootaloo gets here, ok? She's special to all of us, and everything must be perfect for her when Rainbow Dash arrives with Scootaloo." Rarity asked, "Well, maybe if Pinkie wasn't using décor that have serious color clashes, I mean, honestly, Purple with light blue? I never realized Pinkie was color blind!"
Pinkie exclaimed, "I'm not color blind!" Rarity said, "Then there's really no excuse for-" Twilight interjected, "Girls! This is a very special and important day! Pinkie, just let Rarity do what she sees fit, she cares for Scootaloo just as much as any of us does."
Pinkie said, "Okie dokie loki!"
Twilight sighed in relief on how easy she fixed that unnecessary dispute. Everything was going according to plan. But suddenly-
A familiar voice shouted, "TWILIGHT!"
Before Twilight had time to react-
BLAM!
Rainbow Dash slammed right into Twilight. Everypony else looked over to see what happened.
Twilight said, "Rainbow Dash, do I dare ask why you suddenly pounced on me in public?" Twilight quickly noticed the worry in Rainbow Dash's face. Twilight knew something is wrong. Twilight asked, "Rainbow, What's wrong?"
Rainbow Dash said, "IT'S SCOOTALOO!" Twilight was awestruck.
Rainbow Dash said, "I think she might've had another nightmare, it got her to take Tank and fly off! You gotta help me find her!" Twilight said, "Rainbow Dash, you can rest assured that we will find her!” as she rose up off of the ground she continued, “Girls, I think we have a slight malfunction in plans."
Meanwhile
Scootaloo was in the old abandoned warehouse she used to live in before Rainbow took her in. Scootaloo laid in sadness, crying for the fact of what she had grew to believe that Rainbow Dash was very well out to get her. Scootaloo felt aloneness once again. Scootaloo could not afford to go back to that town. Not ever again. She was made to shoo away Tank to be left alone. Scootaloo did nothing but cry. She felt betrayed; Alone, sad, and heart broken. A voice came out; It said, "Scootaloo?"
Scootaloo knew whose voice it was; It was Rainbow Dash. The horrible dream was forming within her mind already. Scootaloo made a run for it and hid behind a storage crate.
Rainbow Dash said with a sincere tone in her voice, "Scoots, I know you're in here somewhere, please come out." Scootaloo closed her eyes and remained silent.
Another voice said, "Here, let me do something!"
Scootaloo gasped as She knew that was Twilight. Before she could react, there was a purple glow from around the corner. Twilight said, "There she is, behind that dusty crate!" Scootaloo screams! She ran off, but was flanked by Rainbow Dash!
Rainbow Dash grabbed and hugged Scootaloo, crying, "OH, SCOOTS, YOU’RE ALRIGHT!" Scootaloo screamed as she was held. Twilight said, "Rainbow, restrain! Remember what you said about her nightmare, I think it may have something to do with not just you, but all of us!" Pinkie said, "It does?"
Rainbow let go, and saw Scootaloo cowering in a fetal position!
Twilight said, "Scootaloo, please! Whatever you may have dreamed about, we are not going to hurt you!" the other mane 6 nodded in agreement.
Scootaloo looked carefully at them. It was the kind gazes of the ponies she knew, not the cruel ones of her tormenters.
Rainbow Dash said, "Scoot, what did you dream about that got you to run away, err, uh… well, you know."
Scootaloo sobbed, "You all hurt me, and made me into a cake!"
The mane 6 gasped!
Fluttershy said, "Oh nonononono! I would never do that!" Applejack said, "Hence the fact she's the "Element of kindness", nor would I Sugercube! Applebloom would yell at me to no end if I even so much as smack you on the flank!" Twilight said, "Do you have any idea what Celestia would do to me if she found out I murdered a foal? Believe me, it'll be a fate worse than death or banishment!"
(Note: all comments about Trollestia will be deleted on sight, so I better not get any!)
Pinkie Pie said, "Grammy Pie always told me it's not nice to hurt others. Besides, despite what those stupid "Cupcakes" fics said, I do NOT make ponies into pastries! Cause they would taste awful, I mean, YUCKY!" Rarity said, "Moi, hurt you? Oh no, no, no, no! Hurting a child is such bad taste, darling! As a pony who aspires to be the pony everypony should know, I must avoid anything that would blemish me!"
Rainbow Dash said, "Wow, and I thought the "Rainbow Factory" one was ridiculous! But this one, I mean, me and my friends harming you! Pfff, Bahahahahahahah,” she laughed while the other joined. Scootaloo strangely felt offended that her nightmare is being laughed at, but at the same time, relieved that it isn't true.
Rainbow Dash, calming down from laughter, said, "But seriously Scoots, it was just a dream; I mean, come on, Fluttershy, a murderer? that's a laugh!" Scootaloo was a bit skeptical; the ponies in her dreams were tricksters.
Scootaloo gulped, as there was one thing to hope to confirm that what she witness what just a nightmare. Scootaloo picked up her backpack, and pulled out her journal. She opened to a page where lies a full-colored pen and ink drawing of two pegasi, a big blue one with a rainbow mane and a smaller orange one with short, bright purple locks. They were curled up together in a loving embrace, eyes closed in bliss. Framing the two ponies was a stylized red heart, under which was written a single word: Forever.
The Mane 6 looked at the drawing. Even though she was assured that they were not the horrors from her dreams; she was still frightened and gulped nervously.
Then, she heard an ambience of "Aws".
Fluttershy said, "This is adorable." Twilight said, "I'm surprised you could draw so well, given lack fingers and/or magic." Pinkie said, "We got a Poninardo De Poni here." Rarity said, "The artwork in the Canterlot Art museum has nothing on this!" Applejack whistles. Applejack said, "That's more purdyer then gold in a gold mine!"
Rainbow Dash, "You got the detail just right, Scoots." Scootaloo whimpered. Scootaloo hugged Rainbow Dash! Scootaloo exclaimed, "OH I'M GLAD YOUR NOT THE RAINBOW DASH THAT HATED IT AND HURT ME THE MOST!"
Twilight realized what was wrong. Twilight said, "I think I know the origin of this nightmare, it's the result of peer pressure, and failing to meet up with expectations! It's a horror sometimes worse than any murderous Boogie man, err, Boogie Pony or a monster. I go through that a lot." Rainbow Dash said, "Oh gees, Scoot, please know I would never ever hurt you, not even in my nastiest mood!"
Scootaloo teared up in happiness! Pinkie said, "So, are we gonna go to the party or what?" Rainbow Dash said, "I'm sorry Pinks, but I think Scootaloo wants a quiet uneventful day, we have to reschedule her "Best Squirt ever" party."
Pinkie said, "Aw man."
"Oh dear, looks like Sweetie Belle is never gonna let me live this down" Rarity said as Scootaloo frowned.
Scootaloo said, "I'm sorry nopony can have a party because of me."
Twilight said, "Scootaloo, you can't blame yourself for having a bad dream, all ponies go through it, even Celestia or Luna are not immune of having a bad dream!"
Scootaloo was a bit confused, but took in the words to feel better. Fluttershy said, "I'll, uh, see if I could, get something good enough for the other kids then. I doubt they'll be happy though."
Rainbow Dash said, "Come on, Squirt, let's go home." Rainbow Dash picked up Scootaloo and flew off.
The Next day
Scootaloo was with Rainbow Dash, going groceries shopping. Scootaloo was very quiet, and didn't even attempt to bug Rainbow Dash about her favorite cookies. Rainbow Dash knew very well Scootaloo was still hurting from causing that commotion yesterday. Scootaloo might not be ready for any party for a while.
Later.
After they paid for what they bought, they were just gonna go home. Suddenly-
Voices said: "SUPRISE!"
Both of the two ponies were startled by this development. Rainbow Dash said: "Guys, the buck is going on?"
Twilight said, "We thought it was good idea for Scootaloo to-" Rainbow Dash interjected, "Guys, I may not be a genius, but I am not stupid, I know what is going on! You’re throwing Scootaloo a party! Look, she's not ready yet, ok? I don't know if she recovered enough to- Huh?"
Scootaloo was seen chatting with her friends Applebloom and Sweetie Belle. Pinkie said: "Rainbow Dash, we know she's not ready for a party yet! We're on hold for that!" Twilight said: "So instead, just a personal day of relaxation with her friends would be ideal enough."
Rainbow Dash said, "Wow, thanks girls, I, I don't know what to say." Rarity said, "A mere Thank you is often considered good enough."
That night
Scootaloo was getting into bed.
Rainbow Dash came in.
Rainbow Dash said, "Hey Scoots, how's it going?" Scootaloo said, "Well, I have a great day spending time with my friends. I am still sorry that party you wanted to give to me still has to wait." Rainbow Dash responded, "Hey, it's ok; I figured there might be some things at the party that might’ve spooked you out, so, better later than never, huh?"
Scootaloo said, "Ok…. And Rainbow? I'm sorry for the trouble I caused, and hijacking Tank? Is he ok?"
Rainbow Dash said, "He's cool, might be awhile for you to get near him again, but he's actually ok. And don't sweat it, not the first time you had a huge over-reaction to a nightmare! I mean remember when you threw a pie into Pinkie Pie when she was serving me cupcakes when you had the "Cupcakes" dream?"
Scootaloo blushed at the memory.
Rainbow Dash said: "Don't worry, Pinkie didn't mind, she's always up for a good laugh, even if it's on her! Now Scoot, maybe next time when you get another scary dream, you come to me first no matter what, ok? I don't want you running away or go crazy on a regular basis, cool?"
Scootaloo hugged Rainbow Dash. Scootaloo said, "I'll try, Rainbow."
Rainbow Dash smiled and returned the hug.
Rainbow Dash lets go and walks off. Rainbow Dash said, "Night Squirt." Scootaloo responded, "Night Dashie."
Rainbow Dash closed the door, but not before turning off the light. Rainbow Dash sighed to herself.
Rainbow Dash said, "I really hope we can solve this nightmare thing soon, for Scootaloo's sake."
