Far away from any city or and town there is a hidden village were only earth ponies live. But one day a women gave birth to a pegasus the mare was put in the town jail for suposive "outside encounters". Our main pony here is a gray colored pegasus whit normal sized wings and a short blue and gray mane and tail. His name is Loyal the town mayor gave him that name him self to try and influence him to never take to the skies or to ever touch a cloud. And this is how our story begins.
"Sit still Loyal!" commanded a big brown colored earth pony, "But dad! why do you have to cut my main feather i promise i wont fly" responded Loyal. "No, this is for your own good the mayor him self told me to always cut your feathers every week" said Loyal's dad "fine..." responded Loyal. Loyal works all day whit three other young ponies to walk around the camp to make sure no outsider wanders in the village. "why do we have to do this when there is always have to watch the boarders of the town when theres is a watch tower right there" said Roman a strangely light green colored stallion while pointing at the city guard tower. "You know thats just to watch over us so we dont run away...expecialy me..." said Loyal
"well i think its stupid i think you should be able to fly like the pegasus you are" said a light purple mare who was walking next to Loyal. "well thanks but no otherpony here thinks so..." as they kept troting they came across a cyan colored feather a cyan pegasus feather leading a trail away from the village but only Loyal noticed, he ran to grab it but was stopped by a guard. "OH well look at this is the lil ol' pegasus tring to run away or... wait what is this?" the guard noticed and picked up the feather, "haha you thinking of following this feather trail well these look like they belong to an outsider ill go investigate later, by the mean time i think you should head home its getting quiet dark" said the guard in a mocking voice. This village only accepts earth ponies and they hate everyother type of pony especialy pesasus ponies as they soar in the skies bending the climate to their will is desguested here.
Its night now and most of the ponies are sleeping exept for the guards that surround the town and the guard tower. There are 3 guard outside every entrence in the orphanage Loyal lives in, "hey Roman you at sleep" whispered Loyal "No i cant stop thinking of how mutch of an ass that guard was to you" said Roman "yeah but-" "No buts" said the light purple mare inturupting Loyal midsentence "i think we should sneak out and find what was that wierd feather" "how?" responded Loyal, "easy! theres a way out in the cellar how do you think i always seem to get that candy everynight?" "oh and my name is grapple!" "grapple?" said Roman and Loyal in confusion "yeah its becouse i love to hug people" said grapple whit a smile "oh ok then lets go" cheered roman "shhhhh".
"ok its in here....hurry up you two" whispered grapple, the three ponies are in the cellar tring to find a way out without alerting anypony. "ok ok calm down" said Roman "ok i think its in here" said grapple while oppening a door leading up to the surface, "finaly, that took forever" inpatiently said Loyal "well excuse me for- "shhhh theres a guard coming hide" rapidly exclamated Roman. "i thought i heard something here" mumbled the guard to himself..."hmmm musta been nothing" AAAACHHOOOOO "What was that?!" the guard quickly turned around "THERE YOU AR-" the guard was then hit whit a barrel to the head and he is now knocked out "what the hell Roman i told you to be quiet!" angrily said Loyal "sorry i cant stop a sneeze! what about you, you nearly killed the guy" responded Roman "well he saw us and ther was nothing else i could do!" "SHUT UP" screamed grapple "by celestia who the hell cares lets just go before another guard comes" "fine let me just... wait look whats that there" said loyal while going behind a box to investigate the object.
"Well well well, what have we here?" said the mayor while coming across a corner "oh why its young Roman and Grapple what a surprise its past your bed time" said the mayor whit a charming yet stupid voice "he hasent noticed Loyal yet" whispered grapple to Roman "yes mister mayor well get back to our rooms now..." said Roman in an obidient voice "good" said the mayor turning back and leaving the 3 little ponies. "Loyal you have to run to the feathers NOW" said grapple "why what happend?" asked Loyal "the mayor saw me and grapple but not you, you have to go now" said Roman "What about you guys though?" "we'll be fine just go" responded grapple
And so left running the grey colored pegasus, left to find the trail of the feathers
"Finaly i found it" mumbled Loyal to himself "great now im talking to myself... or am i being heard by random bronies on sometype of website"...."what am i thinking what are bronies?.....oh well" Loyal finaly found the cyan feather trail."shit!" as Loyal was troting down the trail he noticed the mayor and 2 other guards walking the feather trail "hmm....it should be somewere around hear" said the mayor "lets go this way" said one of the guards "ok" and they kept moving on away from the trail. Loyal keeps his trail but as he keeps looking ar the feathers he notices there are more and more "damn what happend to this pony or thing or watever it might be. "What the-..." as Loyal hits part of his jorney he notices one of the feathers has blood on them "he or she must be hurt i better hurry" so Loyal switches from troting to running and he keeps noticing there is more and more blood. "Stop right there Loyal!" said the mayor whit a powerful voice "uhhh crap" mumbled loyal "Watch your tounge, you annoying pesky pegasus always making trouble" kept rambling the mayor "but i didnt do anything" responded Loyal "I DONT CARE YOU HAVE WINGS AND NOW YOU SHALL NEVER COME BACK, get him boys" screamed the mayor while leaving the area "ah crap i gatta run!" said loyal while starting to run. "get him" said one of the guards "i gatta hide".
"We're is he?" Said one guard to the other "I don't know maybe he went back this way" and they both trotted off. Loyal now hiding in a tree, hungry and tierd looks down and notices "hey were did the feathers go they stop here" he just down and hears a branch break behind him.
He freezes scared that it might be one of the mayors goons but when he turns around he sees a cyan blue Pegasus whit a rainbow colored mane Loyal stunned of what he just seen. "Can i get a little help I was practicing some speed in my flying stunts and I accedently went too low and hit a tree" said the Pegasus "umm I don't think I can help you see I'm not really used to see other Pegasus" responded Loyal whit a frown in his face "all I need is a day or two of rest and ill be out of your hoof,my names is Rainbow dash, What's yours?" Said Rainbow. "You see it's just that I'm from a village that rejects Pegasus and unicorns" said Loyal "Then why didn't you just fly away I mean you do have wings" responded Rainbow
"because they cut my primary feathers every week" "and i dont know how to fly..." said Loyal while looking down "well i think-" Rainbow is quicklyinturupted by the sound of a branch breaking behind them "Run!" screamed Loyal.
"Run faster" shouted Loyal "Well sorry im used to flying away from things tring to get me" responded despretly Rainbow "GET BACK HERE" shouted one of the guards. "i think i recognize this area" said rainbow "well do you know anywere we can stay?" asked Loyal "i dont know maybe...wait whats that?" Infront of them on a high rock looking down at them there is a hooded figure "who is that?" asked Loyal "i think its..- mumbled rainbow "Both of you follow me" said the hooded figure "before those other two catch up" "wait i know who you are, Zecora!" said rainbow
"No its me twilight" said the hooded er.. twilight while she took off her hood. "oh, it kinda looked like it was zecora because you know the scene is right were in a forest its night you have a brown hood...kinda didnt expect you" said rainbow. Rainbow dash, Twilight and Loyal are trotting in the forest, they outsmarted the guards...by trowing a rock the other derection (there stupid as hell). "so who is this new friend of yours?" asked twilight "umm i dont really know who he is i met him here i think hes homeless tho" said rainbow. "im right here yo could ask me yourself..." replied Loyal whit an angry tone "ill be more then glad to hear your story once whe get to ponyville" said twilight. The three ponies kept trotting to ponyville that was actualy not too far from the forest taking that Loyal and Rainbow ran alot to get to were they are. Loyal was hit by a stream of memories of his friends and how he will never see them again and of how he can never come back to his village, even tho nearly everypony hated him he did have some lovely friends. "dont be so sad now Loyal" said Rainbow "you know what once whe get to ponyville im going to show you how to fly".
"We're here" said twilight whit a nice smile, she must be tired from looking for her friend. "Finaly! im tired!!!" screamed Rainbow a bit too loud. "ok well i guess im going to the hospital to get my wing checked see ya later twilight" says rainbow dash while walking away, "well um.... i guess you can stay in my house while whe figure out what your gana do now" twilight said to loyal whit a straight face. "i gues...if its not mutch bother" responded loyal "nonsence this is what friends are for". twilight and loyal walked towards twilight's treehouse-library-thing (whatever it is) twilight was alittle confused of where exacly did this flightless pegasus came from but she expected to hear his story when the got there.
"i see..." mumbled twilight, twilight and loyal are inside twilights treehouse-thing and loyal just got done explaining to her his story. "so this whole time you were running in the forest was because you wanted to follow the feather trail and that lead you to rainbow dash, and that village sounds awfull" said twilight "well i wasent all that bad i did have some nice friends there too", "Im back!" said rainbow while ramming in the door "you ready for your first flight lesson?" said rainbow "umm but...i- um err dont think my wings are ready" responded loyal tring to find an excuse. "your fine now get out here!" said rainbow while pushing loyal tru the door. "OK now first to show you how to float in the aire like this" rainbow dash spreads her wings ands start flaping downwards staying steady in the air "now you try", after 7 tries of completely failing and landing on his face loyal manages to stay in the air long enough to call it floating "ok good lesson today BYE!" says loyal tring to escape from rainbow "nope!" rainbow quickly grabs loyal "you just learned how to float now you have to learn how to fly!" said rainbow whit a HUGE smile,"but i dont want to learn to fly!" said loyal.
"What?!"said rainbow dash whit a shocked face you'd think a pegasus who was rejected all his life would love to fly. "i just never really needed it and i dont need it now..." responded loyal, rainbow dash now completely shocked from his responce goes into...kind of a rage ''What do you mean you dont need it!!! A pegasus is NOTHING without there wings!!!" said rainbow in rage, "well i guess im not a pegasus". Rainbow dosent say anything but smack Loyal in the face as hard as she could leaving loyal.....well really badly injured (tring to keep it PG).
