Entry 1

Before I left Ponyville, I asked Twilight for a hundred pages of paper. I intend storing all my thoughts into this journal, or so diary, whatever you may call it. Unlike others, I hope someone may find this someday. Perhaps then I will be gone. I haven’t given much thought to my fate, but what pony does such?

My vocabulary with my native language has increased significantly, so much to the point of where I can have a normal conversation with just about any of my kind, minus the little green flight, Spike. He seems to know only around two or three shouts, though I can say I’m faring much better.

Our meeting with Frozen was the reason behind this boost of intellect. Immediately as we left the tavern, he spoke in our tongue. Though I could understand just about everything he said, the responsive actions were the hardest for me. It’s like a child; I know what they are saying, but I cannot respond.

Eventually I formed words enough to the point of where it made sense to him. As if that was enough. He sighed, waving me off, still a few feet ahead of me and Spike on the trail. I was surprised to see Spike laughing along with some of the remarks Frozen made about ponykind. Perhaps he knew more than I thought. I just know he couldn’t speak it.

No longer regarding language, the trek up this cursed mountain has taken quite a toll on me. This is the third stop I’ve had to take in the past six hours. I guess my human form isn’t quite adapt to scaling high mountains while it can barely breath. Did I mention how low the oxygen level is here? I’m crossing out sleeping for this one, for I don’t really feel like having nightmares about drowning.

We decided to set up camp inside a conveniently placed cave nearby. It was good in size, so space was not a problem. The only problem I was having was warmth. Don’t get me wrong, I know what you're thinking. The armour I wear is frost resistant, but that just makes it a normal level of temperature. It’s not like this thing is a heater. So naturally, I was slightly freezing to death inside the mouth of the cave, unable to get any rest. Thus came the noticing of the oxygen, no sleep this night, ect.

It’s been three hours since I wrote anything, and I decided to try for sleep anyways. With the two fellow members already asleep, and no source of tinder, I suppose I have little to no choice.

Dreams are illusive,
