Princess Celestia finds herself, and all of Equestria, in danger as a witch once again shows her face. When the princess is unable to triumph over the old and forbidden magic of the witch, Twilight Sparkle and her friends must set out on a perilous quest. They are joined, in their journey, by the harbinger of the evil that has befallen Equestria.
