Undead of Equestria

Spike burped out a scroll from the Princess, which landed safely in the grip of Twilight Sparkle's magic. This one was different to the usual ones, it had a blue seal on it. It was from Princess Luna. Twilight opened the scroll eagerly, with a large smile on her face. It wasn't often she got a letter from Luna, so it must have been something quite important.

Twilight's smile faded quickly though. More and more so as she read down the page. "It's not possible!", Twilight told herself. "After all the research I've done over the years. This- This doesn't make sense!" Twilight carefully placed the scroll onto her table - rolled back up, of course. Just because somepony is panicked doesn't mean they have to be disrespectful - and proceeded to rush around the library frantically, pulling out books, scanning a few pages, then throwing them onto the floor when she didn't get the information she needed.

Spike didn't pay much attention. This kind of thing happened often. Something about this time seemed a bit different, but Spike shrugged it off and told Twilight that was off to Rarity's Boutique. He could really do whatever he wanted when she was in one of these panics, as she didn't really notice anything else.

On his way to Rarity's place, the smell of baked goods had caught his nose, and he found himself at Sugarcube Corner in no time. "Spike! Hey! Hey! Spike! It's me! Pinkie! Spike! Look!" a voice that could only belong to a certain pink Earth Pony  called out. The dragon looked around the bakery, but couldn't find her anywhere. "BOO!" Pinkie shouted,  tapping him on the back hard, but not too hard.

"Haha, got me again, Pinkie." Spike laughed.

"Indeed I did, dragon. But this time... IT'S DIFFERENT!" Pinkie said, in a slightly evil voice.

"W-What? How?" Spike asked, falling for Pinkie's prank.

"Because this time... YOU GET A PIE IN THE FACE! THINKFAST!" Pinkie yelled as she threw a sapphire pie at the baby dragon.

"I should've seen that comi-" Spike paused, after wiping a bit off of his face. "Is this sapphire?". He then licked the pie from his face with his long dragon tongue. "Do I have to l pay for that? I mean, I didn't actually order it..."

"Not to worry, Spikey-Wikey," Pinkie quoted Rarity's name for the dragon, which she had adopted to use herself. "That was on the house! Or should I say 'On the face?'", the pony giggle-snorted, falling onto her back."

"Oh, good mornin'  Spike!", Applejack smiled, as she opened the door to the bakery. Looking down at Pinkie, who was still rolling on the floor giggle-snorting, "And uh, good mornin' to you too.. Pinkie...

"What's in the saddlebags, Applejack?" the curious little dragon asked.

"Oh, just some apples for the bakery. Ah get paid in bits AND baked goods here." the orange Earth Pony laughed.

"S- Before Spike could reply, Pinkie was back on her hooves.

"Oh hey Applejack! How are you? I haven't seen you in forever!" Pinkie greeted.

"We- We all had a picnic yesterday, Pinkie." Applejack noted.

"But that's still WAAAAY too long! I mean, think about all the things that happened between now and then. Or is it then and now? Grammar. Meh."

Applejack stared at her. "What about 'em?"

"Well we need to talk about everything of course! You wouldn't wanna not know what I'm talking about now, would you?"

"No... O' course... not."

"Well, remember when I said bye, and walked away, well I saw this s-"

A loud crash sounded throughout the room.

"Hey Applejack, Pinkie, Spike!" the pegasus called out.

"Rainbow Dash! Is crashin' through the walls your way of sayin' 'Hello'?" Applejack moaned.

"Hey, it was an accident, I can't be blamed! Blame the building for being in the way."

Pinkie Pie jumped in the air, hovering there for a few moments. "That's not a nice way to talk to Sugarcubey, Dashie!

"Uh, sorry Pinkie. Sorry... 'Sugarcubey'."

"That's ok, Rainbow Dash", a deep voice groaned, much to Dashie's surprise.

A bright flash of purple light brought Fluttershy and Rarity into the room.

"What? Wher- Sugarcube Corner? What are we doing here?" Rarity asked, confused.

"I-I was thinking the same thing!" Fluttershy replied.

"Woah," Spike spoke, finally being able to get a word in. "You two appeared out of nowhere!"

Another bright purple flash brought Twilight into the bakery too.

"Girls! We have an emergency!"
