A pony named Ink Weaver is inspired to write a book about the ponies who won the Celestia Cross. The highest military honour in Equestria. His story takes him into the homes of the ponies who won the award as well as the ponies close to them. After reading the official reports he vows to write about the emotions those heroes felt. The emotions that are so important and were left out of the reports.

Author's note: Yes I did take the idea of memory orbs and battle saddles from Fallout: Equestria by Kkat. I feel that they fit the world of MLP. There is no other good way to handle firearms and recordings in my mind.
