Price of immortality CH 4

Twilight stared in disbelief at the waving white unicorn sitting in the lobby “Rarity what are you doing here.”

With a decidedly devious smile the alabaster unicorn straightened her mane with a hoof saying “It’s quite simple dear I’m here for my weekly appointment of course.”

Celestia stepped forward “Correct me if I’m wrong Miss Blossom but I seem to remember booking the spa for the afternoon.”

Poor Lotus looked just about ready to cry “W-well yes you did Your Highness b-but you see Miss Rarity is one of our… best customers and we thought you wouldn’t mind.”

Seeing the worry etched on the spa pony’s face the white unicorn came to the rescue interjecting “You see Princess I would normally be getting a nice hooficure by now but I knew you would be coming and I simply had say hello.”

The Princess took a step forward “Exactly how did you know I was going to be here Miss Rarity?”

“It’s quite simple Your Majesty, I had overheard Aloe mentioning that they would be having a very special client in next week but when I inquired about it they wouldn’t tell me. So of course when I saw a beautifully elegant unicorn with Your Majesty’s coat color, who had never been in town before, heading straight towards the library it didn’t take me long to… ah put two and two together if you will. So that’s why I accosted you in the street as it were, I had to make sure.”

Tuning to her lavender friend the unicorn tittered softly “By the way dear I’m not sure who has a worse poker face, you or Applejack.”

Twilight resisted the urge to facehoof at her friend’s meticulous yet slightly devious nature. She knew that Rarity would want to chat with the two of them, and there wouldn’t be any time to talk to the Princess about her assignment.

As if reading Twilight’s mind Rarity smiled “Also I’ve been dying to speak to you darling. Something has come to my attention that must ask you about, a certain assignment from the Princess if you will.”

It was impossible to tell at that moment if Celestia or Twilight’s eye were bigger in that moment but the lavender pony was sure of one thing… Rarity had planned all this out exactly, and worse still she somehow knew about the assignment Celestia had given her.

A testament to her years of experience as the head of state Celestia recovered her faculties first “I see… it would seem that we do in fact have things to discuss my little pony. For the moment however I suggest we take advantage of the wonderful spa we have reserved.”

Rarity smiled radiantly “Of course you’re Highness.”

With that the three ponies allowed themselves to be ushered inside the spa proper for an afternoon of pampering

Twilight sighed blissfully as Aloe’s hooves worked wonders on her back. Beside her she could she her friend and her mentor in similar states of bliss, the tree of them had agreed to save the talking till they were in the hot tub. So instead they simply sat there and let practiced hooved turn them into three puddles of goo that used to be ponies.

They moved from the tables to padded couches so they could get hooficures, horn filings, and in Celestia’s case a nice preening. It had been a while since Twilight had filed her horn so it was a wonderful feeling to get it taken care of.

Even better than that though was that the princess appeared to be ticklish at the base of her wings, judging by the musical giggle that came from her when one of the attendants tried to preen her lower feathers.

Finally they found themselves in a relaxing hot tub bath.

And what relaxing bath it was, the three ponies let out blissful sighs in unison as they slipped into the steaming waters. For the second or third time that day the small launder pony felt all of her muscles go limp and it actually took conscious effort not to just sink beneath the waters.

In fact Twilight was so at ease at this point it actually took Rarity shaking her to realize her friend had been talking “Huh what did you say Rarity?”

“I was saying that as we agreed beforehoof I think it’s time to discuss this special project of yours.”

Blushing slightly the lavender mare sighed and glanced beside her at her mentor. The mare in question looked much less nervous about this that she did but then again she was the princess, still she knew better than to think that Rarity would be dissuaded “Ok Rarity I guess now is as good a time as any. With that said I’d like to know how you found out in the first place.”

The white mare had the decency to turn her head and blush “Well now darling you really should lock your door when you’re doing something as scandalous as eating one of your best friends.”

Now it Twilights turn to blush. Looking over she went even more scarlet as she saw her mentor’s raised eyebrow “Eheh… I … I didn’t even think about it, I was so focused on trying to explain things to Rainbow.”

Rarity smiled and brushed a hoof over her lavender friends shoulder “Of course dear I understand. I was simply saying that it was lucky I came by looking for a book on advanced embroidery.”

Finally the Princess spoke, this wasn’t how she had hoped this day would end but I still could shape up nicely “I see well then my dear why don’t you tell us what you saw and heard and we will fill in the blanks.”

“Well let’s see I didn’t see you anywhere in the library so I went to try and find you. So you can probably imagine my surprise when I went upstairs and peeked around the door just in time to watch you stuff your mouth over Rainbow’s head.

Twilight blushed up to her ears “That… must have been… surprising.”

The alabaster unicorn let out a little titter “That’s one way of putting it dear. I’ll admit that for a moment I almost went to go get help, but thankfully it became clear that Rainbow wasn’t trying to get away, even more so when she began… ehem… pleasuring herself.”

The Princess smiled at the two blushing unicorns “Well it would seem that Rainbow didn’t take very long to… acclimate herself to the situation.”

Rarity blushed even harder as she continued “She wasn’t the only one however, shortly after she started, er, clopping Twilight here decided to join her. Speaking of which wherever did you get that toy darling it looked to be of fantastic quality.”

Now it was Celestia’s turn to blush “Why Twilight you went out toy shopping… and you didn’t invite me.”

Twilight gaped in disbelief at the alabaster alicorn beside her “W-what! P-princess what are you saying!”

“Now Twilight we’re all adults here. You know as well as I do that I’d “been around the block” as it were, so why wouldn’t I want to expand the royal collection?”

Now the poor purple pony was doing her level best to out-blush Fluttershy “Princess!”

Rarity was giggling like a schoolfilly as she tried to steer the conversation back on track “Y-your Highness much as I’d like to continue this line of inquiry we really should get back to the point at hoof. So there I was watching two of my best friends in one of the most oddly arousing encounters of my life and trying my best to figure out what to do about it.”

“Well what did you do Rarity?”

The mare blushed “I decided I would wait and see I knew you would never hurt Rainbow but I had to figure out what was going on. At first I could hear rainbow talking to you but she seemed to be responding to you and I could figure out how.”

Celestia grinned over at her protégé “I’m guessing you found a way around… talking with your mouth full as it were.”

“Yes actually I used a telepathy spell. It was the only thing I could think of that would work.”

The white unicorn nodded slightly “I was just getting to that darling, I realized there was a spell on you and rainbow so I attached my own magic to it so I could hear what you were saying.”

That would explain the small tingle of magic Twilight had felt while she was eating Rainbow. Had she been thinking more clearly at the time she would have tried to find its source, with how she felt however she hadn’t even thought about it.

Celestia decided to move things forward a little, she was starting to think that the unicorn across from her was planning something and she was interested to see what it was “Perhaps, my little ponies, we should move the story forward a little.”

Nodding lightly Rarity jumped forward in her tale “Very well then, after the deed was done Rainbow was nothing more than a lump in Twilight’s stomach and I was once again thinking about trying to intervene. However Rainbow didn’t appear to be trying to escape so I continued to wait.”

“So you watched the whole time Rainbow was digesting inside me?”

The white pony nodded lightly “Yes darling it was something to watch. Though hearing Rainbow's voice in your telepathic link was even odder. Unsure of what to do I waited till I saw our friend reappear beside you before I left.”

“I must say I’m glad you waited till you saw that your friend was indeed safe my little pony. I am curious however why you don’t have more questions about this.”

Twilight lightly bumped Rarity’s shoulder “Yea Rarity you do seem awfully calm about all this.”

“Well I might have gotten Rainbow on her own the next day and surprised her with my knowledge of what you two had been up to.”

“Rarity!”

Shrugging slightly the white mare replied “What! I had to find out if she was really ok or not. Truthfully she seemed to want to talk to me.”

She could see that Twilight was getting worried and made to head it off at the pass “She wasn’t mad or scared darling, she just needed to talk to somepony. So I sat her down and talked everything out with her.”

Celestia cocked an eyebrow “Really and what exactly did you talk about?”

“Well I talked with her about what happened and what it felt like, though she was a little bit vague on the details. After that we just talked about how she felt about her feelings, about herself and about how she feels about us and our friends.”

Twilight tuned to her fellow unicorn “But if that’s the case why hasn’t she talked to me for the last three days?”

Rarity shifted slightly “Well I do hope that you can forgive me darling but I made her promise not to talk to you till today. You see I knew if I let her speak she would say something and ruin all my carefully laid plans.”

The Princess cut in once more “Speaking of which I feel that I should apologize Twilight.”

“What could you have to apologize for Princess?”

Celestia’s wings drooped slightly as she replied “Like I said before my faithful student I should have taken more time to teach you about this than I did and worse still I actually became a little exasperated at your lack of results.”

Seeing her mentor so glum made the lavender mare want to cry but it was Rarity that responded to the change in mood before she could “Pardon me Princess but I really don’t think you should be so upset Twilight has never been a pony to hold a grudge, least of all against you. Moreover if you have been rushing things so much there must be a good reason for it and I doubt it is your own desires, your much to selfless for that.”

To reinforce her friends statement Twilight leaned over and hugged the princess tightly saying “Rarity’s right Princess I more worried than anything, worried that I might let you down.”

A single tear slid down the solar goddess’s cheek as she reached out to embrace her two companions “Thank you both, it’s always wonderful to know that my subjects… no my friends care about me. Moreover you are correct Rarity there is an ulterior motive for my haste, but we shouldn’t discus it now; there are other matters that need attending.”

Twilight looked slightly perplexed “Huh, what do you mean Princess?”

“Why preparing you for your next pony meal of cores my faithful student.”

The purple pony nodded and put a hoof to her chin in thought “Right but I still have to find another one of my friends to eat up.”

At this the alabaster alicorn laughed musically “My dear Twilight it would seem you can’t see the forest for the trees as it were.”

Before her student could ponder out what she meant the royal sister pointed a wing at a profusely blushing white unicorn, one who decided it was finally time to speak up “W-well darling I would certainly be… game for it as it were… assuming you would want me to be your next *ehem* lover tuned entrée.”

Now it was Twilights turn to blush “Are you sure Rarity? I would like to do that with you but it does get a little… well not messy per say but a little odd for sure.”

“I know darling, Rainbow did tell me everything after all, still I must admit that I too have harbored fantasies about the six of us becoming closer shall we say, and while it certainly is a strange way to go about it I won’t pass up the chance to become closer to one of my best friends.”

Watching as the Two little ponies hugged one another Celestia let out a small smile and quicly rose from the tub saying
“Since you two seem to have everything under control I really must get back to Canterlot. Oh and Twilight.”

“Yes Princess?”

“I look forward to you letter about your latest experience.”

With that the solar alicorn dirtied off and quickly shifted back into Dawn Sky, she was in a hurry to back to the castle for it looked like she would have some interesting bedtime reading material.

Well here we are folks back again and it looks like Twi has her next meal all lined up.

sorry this took so long to get out here but thinks have been absolutely insane for the last month in real life.

from a death in the family to being unable to find a job to bailing my friend out of trouble it has been a month i dont want to repeat.

Still im back now and things have settled down for the most part so now we can get back to it.

also the other side-fic i had planed just got axed thanks to the new management... so more time to work on this yay!
