"Hey Rainbow Dash are you a wonder bolt yet," Scootaloo said. "No, not yet bu-" "Awwww, I mean your diffidently the best and most awesome flyer here, I thought they would have already let you in." "Wait Scootaloo how did you get here," I said. "I just snuck in through the hot air balloon.So Rainbow Dash did you learn any new tricks that you could show me," Scootaloo said,"like maybe a rainbow tornado or, or maybe something awesome like a p-." "No Scootaloo I didn't learn any new tricks but, tomorrow I'm going to perform a sonic rainboom for Spitfire and show everyone what I've got, you can come if you want," I said. "Yea I'll come who would want to miss the coolest flyer in Equestria perform the most awesome of all tricks, the Sonic Rainboom," Scootaloo said. "Okay but if I mess up in front of you and Spitfire ,and you tell anyone, I will deny it. Okay?" "Okay I got," she said with a look in that I could tell meant she was looking forward to it. "If you want to know, I brought a cot, a list of things that I can get my cutie mark from here, a compass, and last a book on how to fly." "Okay Scootaloo but if I'm lucky, I might get enough spare time to teach you how to fly," I said. "Really because that would be so awesome!" "Well good night Scootaloo. this pony needs her rest if she's going to perform a sonic rainboom tomorrow,"(in third person) I said. "Good night Rainbow Dash," Scootaloo said.
The EventView OnlineRainbow Dash's JourneyThe EventI woke up the next morning very tired and exhausted from talking when I should have been resting or at least I think that's what happened, I have trouble distinguishing dreams from reality. "Hey Scootaloo, are you here," I said looking around. There seemed to be no traces of her except for maybe the cot which I think was there before last night. "Hey Rainbow Dash, your awake yay!" she said rushing into the door with that book she told me about last night. "I wasn't sure when you would wake up so I decided to start reading my book on how to fly, you know so I would know the basics and every thing. The only problem is step 2, you have to stay off the ground for a whole minute." Then she dropped the book and starting fluttering her wings. She got about a whole foot off the ground and held for about ten seconds, and then fell. "Come on Scootaloo at that rate you will never become a fearless flyer like me," I said. "I know it's just that flying is so hard and you even make sonic rainbooms look easy," she said looking quite amazed. "You just have to keep practi- "EVERYPONY COME TO THE PRACTICE GROUNDS IMMEDIATELY! WE WILL BE STARTING EARLY TODAY FOR THE REASON THAT RAINBOW DASH WILL BE PERFORMING A SONIC RAINBOOM!!!" Spitfire said. I felt a little embarrassed when I herd moans from other ponies. "Hey Rainbow Dash can I come" she said "Sure(sigh), okay, if you want to," and right when I said that, I saw that she was so delighted to come. I went outside looking forward to performing a sonic rainboom for everyone. I, the best flyer here, happened to be the first one there but I still felt guilty that I woke every pony up so early. When I got to the practice grounds I saw that the drills today were going to be very dangerous. I saw spitfire walk out on to the grounds and she went over to us with a lot of wonderbolt costumes but there did happen to be one that stood out, it was oddly colored, all of the other uniforms where like the ones that the real wonderbolts wore "Listen up, these are the uniforms that you will be wearing for the rest of your time here, these are the same wonderbolt uniforms that you have seen us wear. Now there is one uniform that is different from the others that uniform represents the team leader, that certain pegasus will be have a small percentage of choice on our next drills and will have a better chance of becoming wonder bolt overall. Now, all of you must prove your worth so now at the end of the drills I will give you all your uniforms so let's get started," Spitfire said. We all went of into the skies to fly 100 laps except it wasn't as fun with out lightning dust. When I reached lap 78 scootaloo went out and tried to fly. There was one good thing and one bad thing the good thing is she got really high, the bad thing is that she got high enough to actually run into me, wich is what happened. Scootaloo flew right into me. I flew out of control but recovered and scootaloo on the other hand only slowed herself down before she hit the ground. Author's Note Sorry for the short chapters. I was right outside her door and all I heard was sobs. "Lightning? "Yeah," she said, "I'm sorry it's, it's always been my dream to become a wonder bolt and I thought that pushing my limits was just a more assuring way to do it. but now I'm l-leaving." with that she burst into tears. "But pushing yourself doesn't mean hurting or putting other ponies lives in danger and I'm sorry you have to leave." I said. "It's okay it's just that, ever since i was young I've dreamed of becoming the best wonder bolt but I just thought that pushing your limits was a more assuring way to get in ,and now, now I'm l-leaving." with that she burst into tears. "Thunder Dust I know that you would have made an amazing wonder bolt like Spitfire or what i might become. "Well... good bye." After that I went to go talk to Twilight, Apple jack, Flutter shy, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie. "Hey guys," I said in the happiest tone I could but to be honest I really wasn't happy because Thunder Dust was leaving. "Hey Rainbow Dash you forgot your care package," Pinkie Pie said while giving it to me. "Oh thanks Pinkie Pie," I said. "Yooouuurr welcome," she said. "Well I guess we should be going these wet clouds are messing up my mane," Rarity said. "Come on Rarity, that spirit won't get you to become a wonder bolt," I said. "I don't know if you noticed Rainbow Dash but I'm not a Pegasus plus I'd much rather work with dresses instead of getting myself dirty," Rarity said. "Well I guess we should be going we all have work to do," Twilight said,"hope you become a wonder bolt." "Bye guys," I said. They all got into the hot air balloon and when they were about half way down Pinkie Pie said something about partying. Then I heard Spitfire's voice. "RAINBOW DASH GET IN MY OFFICE!!!"
Sonic Rainboom View OnlineRainbow Dash's JourneySonic Rainboom Sonic Rainboom I walked over to the warden's office and knocked on the door "permission to enter ma'am." "Permission granted," said Spitfire. I walked in confidently, "Rainbow Dash, I have heard that you have not once, not twice, but three times performed a mythical Sonic Rainboom, is that true," she said? "Yes that is true ma'am but I don-" "So do you think you can perform one for me right now," she said. "I would but I can'-" "Good I'll be wanting to see it in at most three days" "Okay but I d-" "You are now excused," she said. I walked out noticing a picture of a little filly with a orange and yellow mane this filly also had a yellow coat. The filly in the picture was young and sneaking into the warden of the wonder bolts office to show the warden what she's got. Then I realized that that filly was... Spitfire! When I exited the room I realized that I couldn't do a sonic rainboom, I just sprained my wing. I'm going to have to practice and especially recover. I only have three days. Then I realized ever since I got to the wonder bolt academy I have not been confident. I've been doubting myself the hole time I mean I'm probably the best flyer in Equestria besides maybe Spitfire and Thunder Dust. I can do this. I started practicing immediately, to my surprise, I got it on my second try. I love it when all that wind is brushing against my mane and coat, all the speed, oh I love the speed, but most of all is when my mane turns into a rainbow and I create this beam of rainbow colored awesomeness. When I was done I went back into my dorm with sweat dripping down from my mane. But when I walked in, there was a surprise. "hey Rainbow Dash".
