//-------------------------------------------------------// Silent Ponyville: My World of Forgotten -by Weisted Machine- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 Aw, it's okay Birdy. Theres nothing here to fear” No. “She's just sick monster. Never wanted you. Come stay with me now, we'll treat her as she treated you” Stop. “Bird Song, she never loved you..” "AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" Bird let out an ear splitting screech as she sat up from bed, her eyes darting around the room wildly. With a sigh, Bird flopped back into her bed and sobbed softly. The white Alicorn rubbed her eyes with her hooves as she let out a breath. Ever since the day the mare she loved, adored- and was somepony she could have called her bestfriend left- she was broken. It was the time she needed her most. The other fillies at school avoided her, they sensed something wrong in Silver Dasher, who was Birds closest friend. And since that day Silver left ... Bird was broken. Her heart ached, and she was alone. But then .. A small voice came to her. Reassured her, and helped heal her pain and longing for the older mare. As Birds Song soon grew attached to the voice, it's been giving her nightmares. Always trying to bring her down, and now she wishes that the scars could have healed on their own. She barely remembers Silver Dasher now-a-days. Her face .. Is in such a haze. Her voice that once was a lullaby to her ... Now replaced by silence. It's almost as if she didn't exist at all. Well in Birds Songs eyes at least. Well, to the bright side, the voice led her to meet some new and nice ponies. Again, they were older, but more assuring than Silver Dasher. There was Princess Piaffle, A honey brown Pegasus with a dirty blonde mane and a crisp brown wafflle wearing a tiara as the cutie mark. Her parents couldn't choose between the name 'Pia' or 'Waffle'. But being the waffle family, they combined the words, giving her her name. Other ponies weren't a fan of Pia, for she had 'Princess' in her name. They thought she was disrespecting their sun god, Celestia. Then there was Moon, a pink unicorn with red mane, and a guitar as her cutie mark. Moon plays in a band, and she acts as the singer and acoustic guitarest. You gotta love her, but not as much as she does. She has been her favorite singer since .. Since she  was a little filly. And last, Shanny. A calm Manehatten unicorn, dark brown mane and a coco fur color. Her cutiemark was a bag of wheat, proving she was good at raising younger animals. These three are her bestest friends. She doesn’t know what she would do without them, but her hearts desire is not yet complete. Bird need somepony … somepony my age. Pia is like- 6 years older than she is, and Moon is 9 years turning 10 years older sometime this year. The nightmares kept coming every night. The images lingered in the back of her mind, always nagging at her. The first time she saw them, the filly shrugged it off as if it didn’t matter. But as the days continued to come, they grew more intense until the point where Birdy thought they’d drive her mad. Pia was concerened about her. And honestly, Moon couldn't care less. Moon has been to wrapped up in her new duet band to ever notice something was wrong with her younger friend. Piaffle started coming to Birds house everyday, and the two tried EVERYTHING to make the dreams stop. -- knock knock knock The knocks came loud and clear, echoing through the Alicorns house. Birdy got up wearily and answered the door. "Hey Pia!" Bird said, putting on a weak  smile. "Hello Bird! I came to drop by and tell you I have a solution!" Pia said happily, bouncing up and down in the spot. Birdy shook her head. "You DO!?" She asked as a wide smile split across the young mares face. "I do! I was talking to Pinkie Pie about this the other day, and she told me her friend Twilight Sparkle KNOWS HOW TO CLEAR IT!" Pia was now squealing like a littly foal that had been told they can go see Princess Celestia, in real life. Bird Song frowned. "Whose Pinkie Pie?" She asked. "Oh! Shes a party pony in Ponyville. She knows EVERYPONY in TOWN! I mean, isn't that alot to remember?" Piaffle asked, blowing her blonde mane out of her face. "Well yea  .. But Ponyville is far from here. It's a two hour flight from here, CloudsDale" Bird sighed. "Yea .. soo .. You up for it?" Pia asked. Birdy nodded. "Oh yea. Shanners and Moon will be there too" Pia said. "Moons .. Gonna be there?" Bird asked slowly. "Mhm! Thought you might like to see her again. The two of you haven't spoke in AGES!" The pegasus exclaimed. The younger mare sighed. "Shes not the one I wanna see. And I don't wanna see Shanny either" The singer pony said sadly. "Aww did somethign happen with you friends?" Princess Piaffle asked curiously. "Nothing. Nothing at all" Birdy lied. Moon has been ditching her lately. The white Alicorn watched sadly as Moon left, and even sadder as Shanny slowly started departing from her. The only pony whom stuck at her side was Pia. The two were like- in love. They're always together, best friends, they're like sisters too. Well, not literal love as in love love, but the two would slowly slip to depression if one left. Kinda like how Silver Dasher left ... "Biiirdyyyyyy you ok?" Pia asked, looking into her friends eyes. "I'm fine! Let's go" Bird said, unfurling her wings and taking to the sky. It surly had been a two hour flight exact, and when they settled in Ponyville, they relaxed with some icecream. Shortly after, heading to Twilights library. "Hello?" Bird poked her head in to the room. "Hey! You must be Bird Song!" Twilight smiled. "Yes I am. I heard you can cure my nightmares?" Bird asked. "yes I can. Now let's see .." Twilights voice trailed off as she picked up a book and her eyes scanned the page. "Alright. I'm just saying, but Im taking you into your mind. And there, everything should fall clearly" Twilight said, looking Bird in the eye. The white pony exchanged worried glances with Pia. "C-Can I come too?" Piaffle piped up. "Sure! It shouldn't take to long, last time it took an hour because I had to figure out how get more than one pony into ones mind. But, I know how now. Princess Piaffle?" Twilight looked at the blonde mare. "yea?" "Stand by Bird Song" As Pia approached her, Bird Song looked around the room. No Shanny or Moon. Thankfully. Piaffle did as told, and took her place beside her friend. "You'll feel a bit hazy at first, and I'm warning that theres might be a side affect and things will be disoreinted" Twi warned. Birdy nodded, as Twilights horn fired up a clear, violet purple beam. The purple beam hit the mares, and Bird slowly felt herself slipping away. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 The words came first and fast to Birdy. Falling! Falling! Falling! CLOUDS!? PAIN! PAIN! PAIN! Darkness. Bird awoke sleepily as she examined her surroundings. She was in Twilights library, but the violet mare was nowhere in sight. Beside her, Princess Piaffle laid on her side, her eyes were shut closed as if she was sleeping on a regular night. “Pia” Bird whispered into her friends ear. The older mare stirred unsettling. “Piiiaaaaa” Birdy nudged her with her hoof, in attempt to wake her up. “M’what?” Piaffle opened one of her golden eyes to be greeted by Bird Songs. “Where’s Twilight Sparkle or what’s her name?” Bird whispered. “I.. don’t know where she is. Anyway, aren’t we supposed to be in your mind or something?” Pia asked, waking up more now. “I think we already are. Come help me look around!” Bird said, heaving herself up to her hooves and prancing around the darkened room. Pia got up wearily as she trotted after Birdy. On a simple table Bird noticed something on it. On the wooden table was a piece of paper, neatly folded in half. Beside it, was a sort-of-rusted-out lantern, with a dull pink saddle bag behind it. “Hey, what is that Birdy?” Pia called from behind as she came up to her friend. “The note? I don’t know. Lemme read it” Bird Song unfolded the note using her magic. “What does it say?” “Says .. Dear Finder of this note, Run. You need to get out. In the midst of this darkness there is a light. Find it.” “What’s that supposed to mean!?” Pia asked angirly. “I don’t know … But I have a feeling it isn’t good” Bird said, looking back at the brown Pegasus. The note really did creep her out. What was here that this pony was warning them about? Bird shuddered. ‘I don’t think I wanna know …’ she thought silently, as she picked up the note, and putting it in the saddle bag. As the Alicorn put the bag around her back, a faint hiss then rose softly from inside the bag. “Huh? What is that?” Pia asked, eyeing the bag carefully. “I don’t know” bird said, lifting open the cover and pulling out … Her lost messenger. The one she used Silver Dasher to message with. “This- This is my lost messenger …. I used it to message one of my friends” Bird flinched as the word ‘friend’ slipped out of her mouth. Messengers a quick way for a pony to deliver electronic mail in any way, instead of using hoof and quill. Bird felt unease rise in her chest as she attempted to turn it on. To her surprise, the device flicked to life with a blue light. But as quickly as it came, it died along with all the color that surrounded them. "Have you seen Twilight, Pia?" Bird turned around to face her friend. "No I haven't .. But I'm getting tired of sitting in here. Let's get out!" Pia said, gently digging a hole in the wood with her fore hoof. Bird nodded as she put the messenger back into the bag. She picked up the lantern in her mouth and the two set out to the front door. The door sighed as Pia opened it, and she peeked out. BIrd watched as her friends eyes grew wide. "What's wrong?" Bird asked, tilting her filly head to the side. "Take a look for yourself" Pia side stepped as the younger pony took her place. The world was embraced in a white fog, the only sight the Alicorn could see was the silhoutte of the buildings, and the almost-white dirt below hoof. "Ugh! Where's the weather Pegasi!?" Bird threw her hooves in the air as she let out a frustrated groan. "I don't know" Pia said, shaking her head. "Well, let's find them then!" The filly said, unfurling her wings. Princess Piaffle nodded as the two let out a powerful wing stroke, sending them into the air. The air around Bird Song soon froze her little body, and she let out a shudder as they gained height. "Bird?" Piaffle brought her head next to the musical pony. Pia's voice was awfully quiet. "Yea?" Bird whispered back as she hovered in the air. "Is that another pony over there?" Pia asked, pointing a hoof west from the ponies. "I... I think so!" "Should we go over and talk to the Pegasus and ask where the BUCK our wether Pegasi are?" Princess Pia asked, in a louder tone. Bird nodded as the two raced over to the Pegasi. 'It's ....  so cold up here! Bird thought as she ducked her head to her chest, but at the same moment white flakes started flowing gently, and twisting playfully as they fell from the fog. 'Huh? Snow?' Bird was snapped out of her thoughts as the Pegasus drew near. To Birds surprise, it's features were nothing like she had seen before. The same hiss from the library broke out from her bag, and growing louder every wing stroke toward the pony.
