I want to fly like an eagle

Walker sat up in his bed as the sun rose over Canterlot. He stared out the window where he could see people wondering around in the early morn. The small town of Ponyville could be seen in the distance.

His life had been great lately. He had been promoted in her royal Navy and was now a Sargent. After his last voyage with Princess Celestia to Saddle Arabia on a diplomatic mission he was paid and sent home on leave. A large sum of bits was given to him and he retired to Canterlot for the next couple of months until his ship the S.S Lunar Night was to set sail again.

He may not have been part of the Air Force but he loved being in the air. The thrill of approaching the sounds at high speeds was amazing.

As he looked out the window he saw the Wonderbolts shoot over head in their Jets. He smiled as they did continue to do flips and tricks in the air for the early morning crowd. His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. He put a pair of shorts on over his boxers and went to the door.

“Package here for a mister Sulfridge. That you?” said the mailman as he opened the door.

“It is...Any idea what it could be?” He asked signing for the delivery.

“I just deliver it, though it was pretty light. Could just be some clothes. I wouldn’t get too worked up.” He said taking back the papers and turning around. Walker closed the door and grabbed a letter opener off his desk.

The first thing out was a letter explaining the other items.

‘Dear cousin,

I know you love being in the air and have been looking for a way to go that wasn’t as expensive as paying for sky diving. It may be a little late but as a symbol of the congratulations from us in Stalliongrad we bought you this. We miss you sorely here but are happy you have found a life for yourself in Canterlot. Please visit soon and check-up. You’re nephew wishes to hear more of your storys from your time on the sea.

Much love,

Cousin Hunter.’

He gave the letter a once over and sat it gingerly on his desk. Slowly he removed the item within. At first he thought it was a just a body suit but when he pulled on the sleeves to show the entirety of it he saw the material under the armpits and beneath the groin of it.

A wing suit. His cousin got him a squirrel suit. He remembered reading about these online once, some thrill seekers would jump off cliffs fly around with these. They didn’t have the awesome height of Canterlot though.

After Breakfast

Walker stood at the edge of Canterlot wearing the wing suit and a helmet he bought from the local sporting goods store. He checked all the gear he had on. Parachute: check, Helmet: check, Wings: check. He was ready for this, this final fleeting moment. “Fuck Gravity!” he yelled as he ran at the railing on the side of Canterlot. He jumped and fell for a moment before opening his arms and soared through the sky. “I’m a biiiiiiiird! A Celestial damned biiiird!” he yelled as he shot down the mountain side. This was the most amazing time of his life.

The mere seconds it took him to get down the mountain felt like hours as he rushed past the mountain side and toward the town below. Remembering a video he saw online he shouted “LEEEEROOOOY JEEEEENKKKIIIINS!!!” Tons of people from below pointed and cheered at him as he shot over the town.

“Look at him, he must be crazy!” a person yelled below. He just smiled and spread his arms as far as he could. He was still very high and decided to speed up himself and his decent by angling downward.

“FUUUUUUUUUCK!” he yelled as he started to shoot straight for a large house on the far side of town. He tried to pull the parachute but it was caught. “I AM GOING TO FUCKING DIE!” he screamed as he hit the window on the house. He pulled his head down so he went head first into the window. What he thought was going to be a hard landing...was even harder than he thought it would be.

He smashed through the glass and went into a death roll. He felt shard after shard of glass going into his skin and cutting his body. To say the least it was harsh...to say more his skin was on fire and he wanted to die. He smashed into a wall and the last thing he saw before blacking out was the door on the far side of the room open.

He woke up confused and disoriented. Opening his eyes he saw a bright white light and a pale face lean over him. “Are you an angel?” He managed lifting his weak hand up and putting it on the face of what looked like a women.

“Hardly dear, I’m the owner of the house you crashed into.” His hand dropped he frowned slightly. “Do not worry darling, I am not mad. I am only here because I was worried about you. I brought you here to the hospital. Are you ok?” she asked with evident worry in her voice.

He just smiled at her and tried to sit up.  She just put a hand on his shoulder and restrained him. Almost his entire body was covered in bandages. And even the slight pressure on his shoulder made him wince. “Oh my I am so sorry dear!” she said removing her hand. As she did a nurse stepped into the small room holding a clip board.

“Sir since we don’t have you on record we are going to have to medically discharge you. Can you sign here?” Said the nurse holding a pen and her clip board to him. He slowly reached up and signed.

“You cannot do this! This man is hurt and you are just pushing him out! I will not stand for this!” said his visitor her hands on her hips. Walker looked her over and took in her beauty. She was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans with her cutie mark printed on them.

“Its fine ma’am, I’ll just need to get home and rest.” He argued trying to get up.

He fell back as the nurse stepped back in with a wheel chair. She grabbed him roughly and sat him down in it. “Where is home exactly?” The woman with purple hair. She was amazing to say the least.  A rarity of a woman.

“Canterlot...why?” he asked as the nurse rolled him out of the hospital to the busy street in front of it.

“OH MY!” she yelled falling over and into his lap. ‘Canterlot...man...’ was all she mumbled until regaining consciousness.

“yeahhhh... well if you could just wheel me to the train station?”  He wanted to get home and change out of the squirrel suit. She took the handle bars on his chair and wheeled him through town.  He saw the train station ahead but instead of going there she turned toward the house he smashed into. Her house.

“Kind sir it is late and I insist you stay with me.” She said opening the door to her home.

“No, no it’s all right I’m sure I could make it back to Canterlot. Please ma’am I gotta get back. I got to-“

“Why is your wife expecting you?” she asked with a lack of emotion in her voice.

“Well no, not really. I’m not married, being on the sea I never had time to court really. Bu-“

“Then I see no reason for you to head back immediately. Now tell me what you do in Canterlot.” She said resting him on the couch.

“I’m a sailor in her majesty’s navy.” He said admitting defeat.

“Oooooh a soldier! Tell me about yourself!” She cooed, she had seen him checking her out earlier and decided to play along at least for a moment. A mild game before bed to keep his spirits up.

Walker merely sighed and began talking. He really didn’t mind being here with this woman. She was beautiful and her body wasn’t half bad either. He started to warm up to her and shuddered every time she would touch him.

As she talked about herself she accidentally put her hand on his inner thigh instead of his wrist and he practically melted. He didn’t believe in love at first sight but if he did she would be it. Perhaps he would ask her out. As a sign of his gratitude of course...his gratitude.

“Are you alright my dear?” she asked when she finished her story. She asked and scooted a little closer, close enough he could feel the warmth of her body as her leg rubbed against his.

“I-I’m f-fine just tired. Do you have anything I could wear to sleep in?” he asked her looking around. She simply frowned and got up, walking toward a small closet to the side. She bent over and started looking through the closet throwing cloths about as she searched. He just sat and admired the view; he was in his own little world as he thought about her plump rump and how sexy it was. He had a goofy look when she turned to hand him the pajamas she had found.

All she could find were some old shorts that a customer had ordered but never picked up. They looked well enough to fit him. She turned and saw he was staring at her. She simply blushed and handed him the bottom. “This was all I could find, I hope they fit.” She said turning around.

He reached up and grabbed her wrist. As she turned to ask what it was he pulled her down into a passionate kiss. They sat there for a while just kissing before she broke the kiss. “I never caught your name.” he said as she leaned in close.

“I’ll tell you over breakfast...” and with that she was off up the stairs.

Walker just laid on the couch thinking about how ballys what he had done was. She could have broken the kiss immediately but she kissed back. He just laid there and thought until sleep took him.

He woke to the sound of voices around him. “He looks dead.” Said a high pitched from beside him.

“Maybe he’s just sleeping.” Said another with a country accent.

“Nahh he’s just faking!” said yet another with excitement in her voice.

Slowly he opened his eyes and looked around. His squirrel suit was where he left it and his bandages had been changed. “Where’s that women?” he mumbled to himself as he sat up. Three little girls were huddled around him as he got up.

“Told you he was just faking it!” said one with purple hair. He just walked to the faint sound of food being made behind a door. Opening it the woman was running around the kitchen cooking what looked like breakfast.

“Sit down girls, breakfast will be ready in a moment.” She said flipping some flap jacks. “And wake my friend on the couch would you!” she said as he walked up behind her.

He snuck up and put his hands on her hips while whispering in her ear, “I still need to know your name...” he whispered into her ear causing her to drop the skillet.

“Oh my, I... goodness you frightened me!” she said reaching for a towel. He felt bad now, his plan had soiled in less than a few seconds.

“I...I’m sorry here let me help. He grabbed a mop that was close by and mopped the floor of the kitchen. He mopped quickly and didn’t miss an inch of the floor. She sat down the towel where she had been wiping the counter and turned to set the table. She nearly slipped and he caught her just before she hit the ground.

“Th-thank you... I... I never caught your name either.” She said as he helped her back up. “I’m Rarity please to meet you.” She said extending her hand.

“I’m Walker ma’am, please to meet you! Oh and... I never thanked you for your generosity and kindness. So...” He wrapped his arms around her in a warm embrace before giving her a kiss on the cheek. “Thank you kindly Miss Rarity.” He finished as the doors open. He let go quickly as the three girls walked in and sat down at the table.

“What are you two up to?” they asked simultaneously. Rarity and Walker just stood there before she offered up, “Who wants pancakes?” The girls all smiled and said yes.  They all sat down and enjoyed a nice warm breakfast.

Walker said bye to Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Apple Bloom before going out to redress in his suit. He was about to walk out when Rarity grabbed him from behind and turned him around. She planted her lips on his and embraced him warmly. They just sat there kissing each other and feeling the others bodies before he felt her tongue prodding at his.

He opened his mouth and instead of letting her in his mouth he pushed it back and explored hers. This had to be one of the most intimate moments of his life. As they tongue wrestled he grabbed her ass and pulled her even closer to him. They kissed for what seemed like hours (it was really about five minutes) until a knock came on the door. They broke the kiss and Rarity adjusted her skirt.

“I...uh, I’m sorry. I’ve... I’ve never been that...” she trailed off.

“Forward?” he offered her. She nodded and answered the door. A woman with multi-colored hair walked in without noticing Walker.  “Rarity did you hear about that guy who flew over town yesterday? Oh my gosh that was so cool he was just like vroom! Vrooom, VROOOOM! And eve-“ she was cut off by Rarity pointing to Walker. “Oh I didn’t realize you had comp- WAIT a second! You’re the guy who flew over town, aren’t you?” she accused.

He spread his arms showing the fake wings below. “Guilty as charged.” He said lowering his arms and scratching the black and red hair that was trimmed and combed neatly. She practically fainted on the spot. “I’m just flying threw though on my way back to Canterlot. I di-“

“You were not! You were making out with Rarity!” said Sweetie Belle jumping out from her hiding place in the kitchen. She realized her mistake and jumped back in with her two friends.

Walker and Rarity just shuffled their feet while Rainbow Dash stated at them curiously. Walker looked at his watch before exclaiming about how late he was and running out. He jumped around the corner and made for the back door. He opened the door to the kitchen where he heard Rarity and Rainbow Dash arguing in the front room. “He was hurt and very sweet I had to let him stay!”

“That doesn’t mean you had to kiss him! Besides I bet he was just trying to get into your pants!” Rainbow yelled causing Walker to push the three children away as he ran in.

“I was not! You don’t even know me you- you... harpy!” he yelled standing in the kitchen door way. They turned and stared at him fuming with rage at being insulted. He would never be kind to a girl just to get in her pants. He was beyond that.

“Can I see you outside please dear?” Rarity asked Rainbow Dash politely. As the door closed Walker heard a lot of yelling. They walked back in and Rarity pulled Walker outside. “Listen... I just wanted t-“

“Would you like to go out for dinner Rarity? Up in Canterlot?” he said before she could turn him away.

“I uh... yes! She hugged him and walked back in.

“Wait...when should I pick you up?” he said as she closed the door.

“Eight sharp dear!” she yelled from the top story window. And that was it. He got on a train home and got ready for his date.
