The Tale of Forte
Chapter 1: The Customer
Load Full StoryNext ChapterForte, a stallion about 20 years old, was cleaning his instrument store. The store wasn't big nor small, it was about average size, and had many instruments from banjos, to tubas. Even though Forte looked brave, he was actually very frightened by many things from snakes, to parasprites. When Forte finally finished cleaning, he looked at the clock, 6:15 P.M., time to close up the shop.
He started to gather his things when he heard the door open, when he went back to the room, Forte saw a stallion. The stallion looked about 35 years old, he was looking at Forte. "Um" Forte said, "can I help you?" The stallion grinned, "yes, but we can talk about that later because it needs to be in private" the stallion looked around. "But" Forte said, "we're the only ponies here." "It's a store" the stallion said, "anypony could walk in here." Then, Forte saw a card under the stallion's left hind-hoof. "Um" Forte said, "you dropped something." "Oh" the stallion said, "I did. Anyway it's for you" the stallion grabbed it and put it on Forte's desk. "Wait what is this?" Forte asked. "That's where I live" the stallion said. Forte looked at it:
4293 Friendship St.
Ponyville, Equestria
32587.
Forte looked at the stallion, "why is it for me?" The stallion looked at him, "soon, you'll find out." The stallion put a nickel in a tip jar near the desk and then started to go towards the door. "Wait!" Forte blurted out. "Who are you?" Forte asked. "That's not important right now" the stallion said, "what matters now is that you arrive at my house." Forte took a look at the card then looked up. The stallion was gone.
