Brothers In Blood

Dark clouds shrouded the castle of Canterlot, all light from Celestia’s sun covered. If it is morning. You lost track. But it didn’t matter. Even when the rain drowned the ground beneath your boots, it didn’t matter. The winds picked up, sending the rain slapping the side of your helmet. The clouds above started to swirl, lightning brightening up parts of the sky. You clenched your Lancer against your chest, the paint of Rainbow’s cutie mark started to rub off. But none of you cared.

     With one swift kick you all stormed into the castle gates, the bodies of changelings and hypnotized guards littering the floor. Some winced, others just ignored it. You had other things to do than care about the dead.

     Like finishing this once and for all, no matter the cost.

     ACT V

     CHAPTER XV: CHAOS CONTROL

     You all turned down the hall to the throne room just to freeze. The ground started to shake violently, causing you all to fall to your knees. Black spikes tore through the marble floor, some coming out diagonally to replace the walls. The ceiling started to crack but was straightened back by large black pillars crashing through the marble floor. The whole hallway to the throne room was covered in black crystals, the stained glass windows cracking by the pressure the crystal wall gave it. Doors that lead into rooms were blocked by crystals, some even coming outs from the room, destroying its contents. The earthquake finally subsided.

     “He’s doing some redecorating…” you grunted, getting back up.

     “Aunty Celestia!” a voice called from behind. You all turned around to see that... blond faggot Blueblood galloping his way over to you all. “What’s going on? IT’S THE CHANGELING QUEEN WATCH OUT!”

     Bluebloods horn blasted a bolt of magic just to be blocked by Celestia herself. His face was priceless, but you had other things to do. Ignoring the arguing group, you began your march to Sombre’s throne room. Sombra’s laughs made you all pause, looking around for the tyrant. His laugh subsided, causing you all to feel unnerving.

     “I’m amazed by all your persistence in taking me down…” his voice echoed down the hall. “But don’t you see, you’ve already lost.”

     “You better fucking have a death wish Sombra!” you yelled in anger. “Because as long as I live I’LL HUNT YOUR FUCKING ASS DOWN!” Sombra only laughed in response.

     He finally appeared at the end of the hall, his toothy grin making you all fired up. You pulled the trigger on your Lancer and opened fire, just for it to be blocked by his crystal shield, the shards receding back into the ground. You threw your Lancer away and charged, knife in hand. He just laughed at your charge, waving a hoof idly. A black pit of dark magic appeared in front of him, causing you to run even faster so you jump over it.

     “Such heroic nonsense.” A dark figure rose from the pit, swiftly uppercutting you right in the jaw. you flew backwards and crashed onto the ground, your knife sticking out of the ground right in front of you. Sombra’s laugh made you grunt in rage as you got to your feet, Applejack and Rarity helping you up. The dark smoke around the figure dissipated, revealing a beast in full crystal armor. A beast you don’t have time for right now.

     “Discord…” you glared at the monotone Draconequus, its glowing red eyes the only thing breaking the black armor. the ponies behind you stood in horror, realizing the actual power Sombra has. Sombra glanced over to Discord and nodded, causing the beast to disappear in the air. Before anyone could respond he appeared in front of Celestia, pointing his palm at the monarch’s face. A bright blast of dark magic exploded in the monarch’s face, blasting her down the hallway and through walls. Twilight went to fire at him only to get grabbed by the horn and tossed into the charging Rainbow Dash.

      Applejack rushed at the god of Chaos only to get hi kicked right in the jaw, blood spraying out of the western pony’s mouth. Discord blasted a ray of magic at her while she was in the air, sending her blasting through the roof.  You and Chrysalis rushed him, your knife in hand. Discord raised his lion paw in the air, causing shards on crystals from the ground rise behind him. You tackled Chrysalis behind a pillar as shards shot down the hall, chipping the side of the pillar.

     You leaped out of cover once the shards stopped your Boltok and Ben’s Gorgon Pistol in hand. As you rolled on the ground, Chrysalis blasted green bolts of magic at the blocking Discord, his eyes set on you. You squeezed the triggers as bullets rained at Discord’s leg. The black crystal armor shattered causing the hot led to shred his kneecap. As you charged at the weakened beast a blast of dark energy shot right into your back, causing you to lurch forward into Discord’s right arm.

     “You forgot about me…” Sombra chuckled, walking over to your pained body. Discord fought off the Elements of Harmony, Chrysalis trying to take down the chaos lord. “You know, I was expecting something else to happen then this. Me, standing over your hurt body… it’s pathetic really.”

     “You were expecting a fight of the gods…” you spat out, getting up to your knees. Sombra backed up, watching you get up to your feet.

     “You’ve read my mind boy… Oh well everything must come to an end eventually.”

     His grin glowed as you ripped off your COG tags, dropping them to the floor. Scratches from the crystal floor made blood trickle down your arm. You raised your fists up to your face, glaring at Sombra through your helmet. He only chuckled, taking off his cape and watching it fall to the crystal floor. His body was covered in dark silver armor, his black tail ripped and torn.

      “You ever heard of multitasking my boy?” your eyes widened as you rolled to the side, a purple ray of magic exploding at the spot you once were. You looked behind you to see the main six all hypnotized again, glaring at you with their teeth bared. Chrysalis laid on the ground, unconscious and bleeding. Discord stood behind the group, his face not changing at all. He held his knee, ignoring the blood oozing through his eagle claw.

     This was unfair to the highest degree. The Elements of Harmony, Discord and Sombra all together fighting you. You took out a hidden knife and charged, having nothing to lose. You ran at Sonbra, swinging the knife at his face. He backpedaled away, ducking the blade once or twice. You reached back and pointed your Gnasher at the pouncing Discord, blasting him right in the chest. Sombra took advantage of this and bucked you right in the chest, sending you crashing into a Crystal wall.

     Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash dived at you, causing you to duck as Fluttershy tried to take a blow at your head. Rainbow tried to do the same, causing you to punch her square in the jaw. you grabbed her tail and pulled her back at you, grabbing the back of her head and smashing it against the wall, knocking her out. Twilight blasted a giant ray of magic at you, blasting you through the wall and into a room. The large dining table broke into splinters as your body crashed into it. Twilight walked up to you, horn glowing a bright purple. Her mane started to catch on fire. You shut your eyes as her horn fired off a blast of purple magic.

     Opening your eyes slightly, you marveled at the sight. Celestia stood in front of you, generating a shield as she blocked the massive blast. Her white coat had cuts and burns, her mane not even flowing anymore. Her crown was lost, her golden armor nowhere to be seen. But what really got you was her determined filled eyes. With a roar in anger, the monarch’s shield expanded, blasting away Twilight and the watching Discord. She glanced over to you, a small cut going from her left eye to the bottom of her chin. You nodded slightly, getting up to your knees. You both didn’t need to talk. You knew what you both wanted; This all to end.

     Celestia hovered your Lancer’s and your pistol’s over to you. You picked up your Gnasher in your right hand, holding the Lancer in your left. Your pants were torn in places, cuts oozing out blood. Your chest armor had magic blasts on them, melting some of it. You checked to see if your Sawed-Off was still there, smiling at the COG tags tied around the stock. None of you saw them, but you felt their presence. Anthony’s spirit stood to your left, Ben’s to your right. Your mom and dad stood behind you, smiling at their grown son. A tear fell down your cheek, the liquid burning through a scar on your face.

     “Ahh Celestia… I was wondering when your tyrant flank would show up.” Sombra walked into the dining room, the Elements and Discord following behind. You both didn’t move, glaring at the tyrant himself. “Well now that it’s fair, time for you both to-“

     “Fight me Sombra.” You growled, dropping your weapons. Celestia looked at you in horror, like you killed one of the Elements in front of her.

      “I’m sorry?” Sombra asked.

      “You have others fight you, watching them do your bidding for you.” You tossed your Sawed- Off onto the floor, walking over to him. He looked at you, then the Sawed-Off.

     “You have nothing to lose…” Sombra whispered.

     “You’ve killed my family. You’ve hypnotized my friends.” You ignored the protests of your brother’s spirits. “You’ve taken everything from me. But you left me with one thing... My will to fight on.”

     “You fear me boy?” Sombra grinned. “You’re scared of the afterlife. That’s why you fight on! You’ve failed your parents promised and now you fear what they will do! BAH I will send you to hell myself then!”

     You both circled each other, ignoring the firefight with Celestia and the hypnotized group. With a roar you charged at Sombra, swinging punches at his face. He dodged some, jumping backwards at you last punch, your fist smashing the marble floor. his horn glowed red, blasting a fury of red bolts. Celestia generated a shield around you, dodging Discords claw. You ran at Discord and tackled him in the chest, lifting up his injured leg and smashing him into the ground. You smashed your fist against his face, grinning as Sombra blasted a devastating ray of magic at you. Celestia’s horn glowed and teleported you away. You now out of the way, the blast hit Discord right in the chest, incinerating his crystal armor.

     Celestia fired a blinding ray at the chaos lord, blasting Discord out of the dining room and out the window. Sombra stared in shock, not realizing you charging at him. A grin crept on his face as Twilight blasted you backwards, crashing into the kitchen of the dining hall. Pinkie went to cut you with a knife but was bucked away by Applejack. Her mane was burnt, her hat nowhere to be seen. She rushed into Rarity, smashing her against a wall. Sombra appeared in front of you, his horn ready to be fired. You punched him right in the jaw, grabbing his back leg and smashing him into the marble kitchen table. Fluttershy crashed right into you, your boots skidding on the ground by the impact. She hoofed you in the side of your head, your helmet ringing loudly.

     Rainbow took you down and punched you in rage. Blood dripped down her nose as you caught both her hooves in mid punch. With a swift head-butt, you dazed her enough that she didn’t see Rarity being tossed at her. They both crashed into each other, grunting in pain. You sprang backwards as a ray of Twilight's magic sliced through the marble floor. Celestia and Twilight were in a heated battle, magic being thrown at both of them. Celestia fired a blinding ray of magic at her apprentice, sending her upwards. Twilight’s horn sparked as she blasted a huge ray, the collision with Celestia sending a blast that threw you all onto the ground.

     Smoke was filled in the room, coughs from applejack and Pinkie making you know where they are. Before you could respond, a black hoof punched you right in the gut, sending the wind out of your chest. Sombra stood infront of you, blasting shards at your pained state. You cried in pain as some wedged themselves into your arm, others scratching your armor. Sombra swung his head sideways, a curved bolt of energy colliding into your chest. You fell backwards, crashing into a wall. A large sliced hole ran across your chest armor, your chest crying in agony and pain.

     “You should’ve given up when you had the chance boy…” Sombra grunted.

     He went to swing a hoof across your head when you tried to do the same, you fist and his hoof colliding sending a blast that eliminated the smoke in the room. A large crater was where Celestia once was, the princess nowhere to be seen. Twilight lied on the ground, unconscious. Sombra lunged to hit you again just for Pinkie to collide into him. Applejack growled in pain, glaring at Sombre. Rainbow and Fluttershy were unconscious, lying on the ground as blood oozed out of their wounds. Rarity was nowhere to be seen. You jumped up to your feet, swiping your fist against Sombra’s face as he got up. You swung another and kicked him away, his body leaving a small trail of blood. Lightning flashed from outside, the rain pattering on the window. You pointed Applejack to go check on Celestia if she’s in the crater, applejack galloping away.

     “It’s over Sombra…” You grunted, limping over to the injured tyrant. He huffed in pain, getting up to his hooves, pushing Pinkie off him.

     “BAH! Far from it boy!” Sombra spat, blood trickling down his chin. He gave you a toothy grin, his razor sharp teeth coated in blood. “I have one more thing up my sleeve!”

     A roar from outside make the ground shake. Two large red eyes glared out from outside. The windows crashed open as the beast roared, shattering the stained glass. You backed away as the large monster smashed its way into the room, its scraping the walls. Its scorched fur was soaked by the rain, a black mark on its chest. It stood on its hind legs, its shadow putting the room in darkness. A flash of lightning revealed the beast, causing you to fall backwards.

     “WHAT!” you yelled. Discord roared in anger, shaking the foundation of the castle.

     “Have fun you two!” Sombra laughed maniacally.

     Discord swung a claw at you, causing you to jump backwards as the giant claw smashed into the floor, destroying the beautiful marble and leaving a massive crater. Applejack was frozen in horror as Discord roared again, smashing his tail into the ground. You jumped and tackled applejack out of the way as Discords tail smashed the floor in half, the impact sending you a bit off the ground.  You grabbed your Lancer and unloaded on his tail, sending Discord into a fury of rage. He smashed his paw into the ground, sliding it on the ground and directly to you.

     Celestia jumped out of the crater and teleported you both out of the way, staring in horror at the 50ft Discord. He roared in rage, his mouth starting to emit an orange flame. Before Celestia could react, Discord blasted a ray of fire at your trio. The heat scorched your cloth shirt as Twilight grunted in pain blocking the blast. Celestia joined in, their shield still cracking. When they thought it was over, discord punched through the shield, grabbing Celestia and Twilight. He started to turn around, his wings extending. Sombra stood on his shoulder, an evil grin on his face.

     “What are ya doing?!” Applejack yelled as you sprinted to discord, grabbing your Gnasher and Sawed-Off.

     “Something stupid!” you yelled back.

     Before discord flew off, you grabbed the hairs on his tail. Discord’s wings flapped, blowing away applejack and the rest of the unconscious ponies. You held on tightly as Discord flew out of the room and into the rainy chaos driven world.
