//-------------------------------------------------------// The Journey to Ponyville -by Willmax- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter One: The Unkown Watcher //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter One: The Unkown Watcher It was October 21st of 2011. The trees were waving in the fall wind, with bright colored leaves falling to the ground. Not a soul was outside in the quiet night. Bill could not fall asleep. He knew that something bad was going to happen. He just didn't know what. The more he thought was going to happen, the more his fear began to grow. The worst that he thought of was that of his parents finding out that he was a brony. He knew that it is impossible because he always deletes the history in the internet browser. He never gets caught doing anything pony related, if he does, he makes up a lie to tell. He lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling, waiting for the feeling to subside. He got up and looked at his alarm clock. He wasted ten minutes about thinking what disaster might happen. He got out of his bed and walked to the kitchen. Then he opened the fridge door and took out the orange juice. A strange feeling fell upon him. He felt like he was being watched. Bill quickly opened the drawer, and got out the biggest knife he could find. He looked around and saw no one. The feeling of being watched went away, but a little still existed in his warm body. Bill walked back to his bedroom. He took his dagger that he always has next to his bed. He took it out of it's sheath, stared at it for a few minutes, and put it back in. He puts it on the table next to his bed and turned off the light. He lays down on his bed. The feeling still haunted him. His eyes begin to close slowly and falls into a deep sleep. What felt like seconds later he suddenly woke up. His body was tightly tied to a wooden chair. He looked around in fear, and found himself tied to a wooden chair with a dim blue light with darkness at the borders. He saw another person, a kid, about a few years younger than Bill with blonde hair and white skin. He was also struck with fear, and looking around. Their eyes met, they could both see they were terrified. They heard footsteps from in front of them. As it became louder, the more their fear grew. A tall man in a blue suit and a red tie with pale white skin and dark black hair came into the light. Bill was dumbfounded when he noticed it was G-man from the Half-Life series. He was truly astonished and fearful at the same time, and so was the kid next to him. In a deep and creepy voice he said, "Hello, Mr. Danielson and Mr. Bullard. You both have been... chosen to come to a place that you long wanted to go to. I am sure it involves...," He chuckles, "ponies... if you know what I mean." There was a long pause. Bill was even more dumbfounded, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. Then G-man spoke once again, "I have been...watching you for such a time. I think that you two have some royal...blood in you." He walks away into the darkness. Both Bill and the unknown person tied in the chair next to him didn't know when he said about them about having royal blood in them. Bill and the kid next to him jumped when they heard a click. Across the room came a bright light. G-man stood next to a lever. Above the lever was a sign saying "Transform." Bill and the kid both heard a 'ZAP' from somewhere above them. They looked up and saw a flash on lightning from two pillars. They felt a big wave of pain from head to toe. It only lasted a second. They looked at each other with confusion. A second later they felt a enormous pain from their bones on their legs. They seemed to be changing shape. You could hear the bones crack as they changed. You could hear screams of unbearable pain. Bill looked down at his feet, they seemed to look like hooves. Then he figured out what was happening. They were getting turned into ponies! Bill couldn't believe it! He never thought that it would be so painful! A slow moving wave of pain was climbing up their bodies. It took only a few minutes to become a full pony, but it felt like hours for both of the prisoners. Once they were done the light across the room had disappeared. Bill was surprised at his new body, and so was the kid next to him. They were both still too terrified to speak. A second later Bill and the kid both heard a sound which sounded like gas pouring out of a propane tank. They both felt dizzy as G-man was walking towards them. He looked down and smiled. Before Bill fainted he said, "You two will have a button on your neck when you wake up, Once it's pressed... you may come home." Bill's eyesight started to fade, still with a little pain in his head. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter Two: The Journey //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter Two: The Journey Bill's eyes slowly open with a groggy feeling upon his body. He got up with pain all over his body. Bill gasps at what he sees. The land around him is colorful and so is the plants. He takes off the clothes that he wore back on earth and hung them on a nearby branch. He saw a puddle a few feet away and trotted towards it. He looked down to see what he looks like. He was a dark-light blue Earth Pony with a dark blue jagged mane with light blue highlights. He could not believe what just happened. He remembered what G-man said about there being a necklace with a button on it. He looked at his neck, finding a metal rope with a red button on it around his neck. He peered at it closely. He would not even dare to press it because he knows what it does. He looks at the sky and sees the bright shining stars. He stared at the moon for a couple of minutes.  He noticed that the moon was somewhat bigger then the one on Earth. Bill heard a noise behind him. He remembers the kid next to him during the transformation. He looks back and sees the light blue earth pony with a dark blue mane and tail. "Um... hello?" said Bill nervously. The unknown pony gets up groaning from pain. "H-hello," was his reply. "May I ask who you are?" asked Bill. "Well, my name is Reece Bullard," was the other pony's answer. "Oh my gosh! Midnight? Is that you? It's me! Nox-Scriptor!" yelled Bill in excitement. Reece's head went straight up in amazement. They both started a conversation that lasted for about an hour. Bill said, "I just had a thought. Since we are in a new world we can change our names!" "Why would we do that," asked Reece. "Well, I would like to change my name to Nox-Scriptor," said Bill."Eh, might as well change my name to Midnight," said Reece with a sigh. "Your coat does look pretty dark to have the name Midnight," said Bill. Nox-Scriptor looked up at the sky again. He noticed that the bright stars are moving into a constellation. They took shape of an arrow pointing to the north. Nox-Scriptor pointed at the arrow in the sky. "I think we must follow it. I do not know why, but I have a gut feeling to follow it," said Nox-Scriptor. They started their wondrous long journey that night. They followed the constellation in the night sky. "Hey, Nox. I think we should sleep by day and travel by night," said Midnight. "That's absurd," said Nox-Scriptor, "We will still know where we are going by day. All we need to do is keep on following this arrow until we hit something." "Yeah, but how are we supposed to know where we are going?" "All we need to do is to take a cup- I mean all we need to do is take a draw an arrow in the dirt in which the arrow in the sky is pointing. Once we wake up we get ready and follow the dirt arrow." "That seems easy enough." When they got to a small patch of grass Nox-Scriptor drew an arrow in the dirt. Then they lied down on the cold grass and fell asleep in minutes. They woke up the next morning feeling cold and stiff. "Nnnnnnnnugh" Nox-Scriptor mumbled under his breath when he woke up. "Wait… what are we supposed to eat for breakfast," said Midnight very worried. "Don't get so worried, Midnight. Since we are horses, as I should say, ponies we can eat the grass," said Nox-Scriptor in a calm voice. Midnight put his head down and took a bite of grass. Nox-Scriptor thought that Midnight would find the grass disgusting and spit it out, but Midnight chewed and swallowed happily. "It doesn't taste disgusting or weird?" said Nox-Scriptor very confused. "I think that being ponies means that we like the taste of grass," Said Midnight intelligently. "Whatever, Dr. Kliener," said Nox-Scriptor. They both ate the grass until they were satisfied. "Well, at least we don't have to worry about starvation," Nox-Scriptor said relaxed. Midnight looked at the dirt arrow and went the way it pointed and Nox-Scriptor did the same. They did not know where they were going and where they were. At the edge of the forest they spotted a road along the way. Midnight stopped when he saw it. Nox-Scriptor got a stick and pointed it the way the constellation arrow pointed. Nox-Scriptor and Midnight went on the road which was surrounded by a vast field. A big gust of wind blew into their faces from the entrance of the forest. A dark figure walked out of light gray smoke. When the figure emerged from the smoke Nox-Scriptor and Midnight were amazed. "Hello travelers! I am the great and powerful Trixie," yelled Trixie. Nox-Scriptor and Midnight looked at each other and rolled on the ground laughing. "What is so funny," asked Trixie. Nox-Scriptor and Midnight caught their breath after a few minutes. "Oh, man… that was hilarious," said Nox-Scriptor wiping his tears. "What is so hilarious about the Great and Powerful Trixie?!" yelled Trixie with anger. "It's just that you are actually here and… ugh you just won't understand," said Midnight. Trixie then walked away with sadness hovering over her head. Nox-Scriptor started to walk towards the stick pointing the way. Once he got to it he noticed that it went the same way the road was going. He beckoned Midnight to come over and he noticed it also. They soon decided to follow the road. Trixie disappeared and they didn't seem to notice. Nox-Scriptor looked at the sun and noticed that it was mid-day. "Maybe we shall stop for a few minutes because if you look at the sun it is in the middle of the sky. Which means that it is the middle of the day," said Nox-Scriptor. Nox-Scriptor drew a small arrow pointing the way in the road and they went to the longest patch of grass they could find and started to eat. Once they were both full of grass to eat they started on the road again. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter Three: The Nice Old Mare //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter Three: The Nice Old Mare A few days past, and Nox-Scriptor and Midnight were getting tired from walking and sleeping on the cold hard ground. When they felt like they were about to collapse, but then they saw a small cabin on the side of the dirt road. Nox-Scriptor and Midnight were excited when they thought about sleeping in a soft bed. Nox-Scriptor and Midnight went up to the cabin and knocked on the door. A few seconds later the door opened. An old mare was standing with a smile upon her face. "Oh hello, youngsters. What is it you want?" she said. "Hello, we are travelers and we have been looking for a place to stay for a while," Nox-Scriptor said with a smile. "Oh, come right in! Would you like some soup? Soup is my cutie mark and my specialty," said the old mare. She opened the door wider and they both walked in. They felt relieved when they left the cold outside and into a cloud of warmth. Nox-Scriptor looked at her cutie mark and noticed that it was just like the old mare said. It looked like a wooden bowl with a chartreuse yellow liquid inside it. "What shall we call you?" asked Midnight. "My name is Deli Soup, but my friends call me Deli," said the old mare. Deli Soup walked toward a pot filled with soup in the fire. She used her magic to take a spoon to fill a wooden bowl with soup and gave it to Midnight. Then she took another bowl and filled it and gave it to Nox-Scriptor. "Please do have a taste," said Deli Soup with a excited tone. They took a sip from the wooden bowl, and when the soup entered their mouths it was like a parade on their taste buds. "Oh my, this is delicious!" Nox-Scriptor said very happily. "Where are you two from? You two do not act like you are from here," said Deli Soup. "Uh...Earth?" said Nox-Scriptor worriedly. "Earth? I thought it was just an old pony tale," said Deli Soup. "Well, it is, it was supposed to be a joke," "You really don't want to tell me were you guys are from, do you?" "Yup" Deli Soup went to her couch and used magic to turn the couch into a bed. Once Deli Soup left the room and went into her bedroom, and they crawled into the soft bed. Nox-Scriptor had trouble sleeping. Why was he here? He closed his eyes and went into deep thought. He thought of different answers, and then he drifted into sleep. The next morning the sun was shining brightly through the cheerful windows. "Hello, boys. Was it a good night sleep for you two?" asked Deli Soup. "Oh, you don't know the half of it," said Midnight. Both of them got out of bed and stretched. "Hey, Deli. Do you know where the bathroom is?" asked Nox-Scriptor. "In the outhouse, which is outside," Replied Deli Soup. "An outhouse?" Nox-Scriptor said disappointed. Then, Nox-Scriptor went outside the house. "So, what are we going to have for breakfast, Deli?" asked Midnight. "My delicious mushroom soup, of course!" Deli Soup replied. Once Nox-Scriptor came back into the house all three of them had mushroom soup. They all enjoyed the soup. Probably the best both of them ever tasted. "I think we shall be going now, Deli Soup. Thanks for all you did," said Nox-Scriptor. "Oh, must you go? I always like visitors. Maybe later you can come back someday?" Said Deli Soup with a sad tone. Nox-Scriptor and Midnight said their goodbyes to Deli Soup before they left the house and went on the road. Nox-Scriptor found the dirt arrow that he drew last night, and then they went the way it pointed and walked away with warm bellies. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter Four: Arrival //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter Four: Arrival Nox-Scriptor and Midnight felt happy for the rest of the day. The only disappointing part of the day was when they had to eat the cold grass. Nox-Scriptor and Midnight walked on the road for hours. Once they were at the edge of the forest they saw a vast area of plains and a town in the middle. Once Nox-Scriptor and Midnight saw the town they jumped with joy. They could not wait to get to the town so they ran as fast as they can. It was only minutes later when they finally got to the entrance of the town. When they got to the town they saw Princess Celestia walking with Twilight Sparkle. Nox-Scriptor and Midnight caught Princess Celestia's eye. She walked towards them with a blank look on her face. Once she got in front of them and looked down at Nox-Scriptor and Midnight and smiled. "You two ponies are not from here, but you seem very familiar to me. Pray to tell me where you came from," said Princess Celestia. "Uh I-I-I-," said Nox-Scriptor but Princess Celestia interrupted. "Please don't be afraid of me. I may be huge and scary but I am gentle and friendly," "Well… we, uh, we are from… Earth?" "Earth? I have never heard of a place like that, but you are welcome." Nox-Scriptor knew that Princess Celestia was safe but her actually being right in front of him just made him terrified. "Are you new to Ponyville? If you are you need a place to stay," said Princess Celestia. "Well, we are new here. We are looking for a new place to stay," said Midnight. "You two can stay with me for a while," Said Twilight Sparkle. Willmax and Midnight were relieved when they heard this . "Sorry, Twilight, but I have to go now. May you lead these to your house," asked Princess Celestia. Princess Celestia got into her carriage and she flew away towards her castle. "You two follow me. I need to ask you something. What are your names," asked Twilight Sparkle. "My name is Nox-Scriptor," said Nox-Scriptor. "And my name is Midnight," said Midnight. They followed Twilight and went into her house. "Spike! We got visitors," yelled Twilight. "Who are they, Twilight," asked Spike as he walked down the stairs. "This is Nox-Scriptor and this is Midnight. They are going to stay with us until they get a place to stay in Ponyville. "Well, welcome to Ponyville," said Spike as he shook hooves with Nox-Scriptor and Midnight.
