Photo Finish is one of Equestria's famous fashion photographers. She is well known for choosing unique combinations of fashion designs and ponies to model them. She is best known for boosting the careers of designers and models alike. She is also infamous for taking ponies against their will as models. A year after a local pony, Fluttershy, is last seen with Photo Finish and disappears, she re-surfaces in Ponyville seeking help. Fluttershy is re-captured by Photo Finish, and the Carousel Boutique is burned to the ground. Photo Finish's efforts to remove Rarity from the fashion industry trigger an investigation by Ponyville's brightest, Twilight Sparkle. What starts out as a move to find and rescue Fluttershy turns into a nightmare as Twilight unravels the mysteries of the fashion industry and finally exposes the real Photo Finish.
