Another reason for the chapter long POVs being disapproved of, is that we have already written a up to chapter 6 in the fiction and are adding onto it as I type this. Sorry for not being able to tailor to the full suggestion but one of our writers is physically unable to do so, reasons withheld =====Update==== Chapter 2 Sharp Rhythm's POV "Well standing against a wall waiting for a friend is hard work" I huffed bored out of my mind. It's even worse on an empty stomach, I’m not a huge fan of lines which were a unorganised mass of shoving, hitting and spitting. I sigh and begin to patrol my way down the sides of the hall, looking for a avaliable table, I manage to find one and begin to pick my way through the crowd. Storm Rider's POV Twilight emerged from her dorm, smiling and blushing still "Hey, you ready to go?" She said excitedly "Sure, I guess" I muttered as Twilight started walking down the hall, I sped up and walked alongside her. She turned and smiled at me, feeling as though it was natural, I opened my wings and wrapped one over her, pulling her close. All down the hall ponies were pointing, muttering and staring causing a strong blush for both of us, which was easily visible due to our light coats. We stepped into the dining hall my wing still pulling Twilight close, I scanned the area for friendly faces, finding one in Sharp I begin making my way over but suddenly a rainbow blur passing in front of us made us stop abruptly. "Now what the hay do you think you're doing?!" The rainbow pony exclaimed sounding incredibly angry. "Well… You see Rainbow Dash… Me and Storm… were just getting breakfast" Twilight spluttered, we tried to make our way around but a strong lasso gripped my hooves tightly "Where the hay do you think you two are going?!" A orange pony with a strong southern accent asked, I looked pleadingly at Sharp "Little help here bro?" Sharp Rhythm's POV "Oh no" I rush to my hooves and proceeded to trot towards my troubled friend when the same rainbow pony, the one that purple unicorn called Rainbow Dash got in front of me and said "who are you" squaring up to my face "Well I'm Sharp and I'm here to help him" "Well why are you helping him" the rainbow pony questioned me "I'm his friend" I reply defiantly "Well.... If he's got a friend why was he taking ours "the rainbow pony said still not giving up "Look I don't know what is going on, Storm would you care to explain to me and miss.... I'm sorry I don't know you name it's..." I said to the purple unicorn. "Twilight, it's Twilight " the purple unicorn replied "Right where was I.... ah yes explain to me and miss Twilights friend what you're doing". "Well… I was just waking Twilight to the hall-" Storm began "WITH YOUR WING AROUND HER!" The rainbow pony interjected "Well uhh yeah it was just… you know uh a friendly gesture" Storm managed to stammer obviously embarrassed by the situation at hand "That's all there is to it I swear…" he finished. " huh this wasn't the way I expected to get introduced to miss Twilights friends" I said in the deadly silence. Storm Rider's POV I stood still, my wing still over Twilight as both our friends thought about my explanation, the rainbow pony still looked at me with disbelief and was about to rejoin the argument when the white unicorn from Twilights room walked into the middle enjoying her spotlight as the room watched "Well I for one think he's very sweet showing that affection though it is… a little too soon" the argument lapsed into a awkward silence, friends still facing each other off while me and Twilight stood of in a corner blushing deeply. *RING*RING*RING* "Well… looks like its time for class…" Sharp Rhythm's POV ‘’Wow man really, you got a marefriend on the first morning, of the first term on the first year that must be an academy record or somthing like that" I said, walking alongside Storm, now that those crazy mares got out of our way “Dude, she isn’t my... marefriend, we’re just friends, just good friends” Storm said while blushing which was weird, he doesn't seem like the type of stallion to do that must be picking it up from all his time with Twilight ‘’Well...... I don’t think everypony else see’s that way’’ I reply uncertainly ‘’well Storm, bro.... it looked affectionate.... I mean with the wing over her and stuff’’ I carried on as we approach the art class, we noticed Twilight and her friends entering the classroom, once her friends had entered she looked down the hall straight at Storm and gave a cheeky smile and blushed. Before Storm had a chance to do anything back she had disappeared into the class. “Uhh we need to hurry up dude... Don't want to be late on the first day...” Storm said obviously excited by the mares smile “We should uhh sit next to Twilight friends, get to know them” ‘’WHOA!, you sure you want to from what happened this morning’’ I exclaimed loudly ‘’yeah..... I’m sure’’ he replied starting to calm down from the mornings events ‘’yeah well keep doing what you’re doing and we’ll definitely think you're more than friends’’ I answer with a smart smirk “Yeah buck you to dude” Storm replied shortly. Upon entering the classroom I see Storm dart toward the chair next to Twilight who, by the looks of thing was expecting him too, I scan the room for another available seat when I spot one next the orange pony from breakfast hopefully she won't tie my legs up. ‘’hi, is this seat taken?’’ ‘’no sugarcube, you can sit there’’ I take my seat and the orange pony started to speak again ‘’ I’m applejack, and you are?’’she said holding out her hoof ‘’ I’m Sharp rhythm’’ I reply shaking her hoof. Storm Rider’s POV I sit in the chair just as the Art teacher started talking, unexpectedly Twilight never took her eyes off me, ignoring the teacher completely. I returned the smile from before as she started to speak, again completely disregarding the teacher. “Hey Storm Rider!” She exclaimed happily I chuckled before answering this time “Just call me Storm, Twilight” “Oh okay Storm, are you enjoying your time here so far?” She said, blushing “So far its been good, I still need to meet my other two roommates though” “I'm sure they’ll turn up, so what’s your.... favorite part of the day so far” She asked with a smile on her face “Heh I’m pretty sure you already what it is Twilight” I laughed as I edge closer to her, facing her.... Rainbow Dash’s POV I gasped as I realised what they were about to do, as Twilight edged closer to Storm a smirk on her face, Rainbow Dash opened her wings as a grin spread across her face she was about to stop what was about to happen... Storm Rider’s POV I edged myself further while Twilight put her hooves around my neck pulling my head towards her’s and.... Upmh a object slammed into my side as I was driven off my chair crashing into the table across from us bringing down the table, chairs and the occupants. “Rainbow Dash! What the buck are you doing!?” Screamed a very pissed off Twilight as I was pulled to my hooves by the occupants of the table, Rarity who I recognised from lunch and a pink filly with bloons as her cutie mark “Oh hey hey hey there!” the pink filly mumbled at high speed “my name is Pinkie Pie and- oh you’re new here! aren’t you? Oh this calls for a party! I’ll get cupcakes and drinks and food and oh music of course!” I could barely understand the filly as she spoke so fast half of her words slurred into the other! Sharp Rhythm’s POV before the incident As I ever keep a watchful eye on Storm but my attention was also elsewhere. Ever since i've been acquainted with Applejack I can't take eyes off her, i mean she was....she was......wow. ‘’Since this mornin’ Twi and Storm have been getting real friendly haven't they’’ my ears quickly picked up ‘’yeah,yeah’’ I answered quickly to look like I wasn't distracted ‘’I was a bit shocked’’ ‘’ well this is the first time I think Twi has ever been in love an’ so quickly too’’ she whispered looking concerned ‘’and I hope that he doesn't break her heart’’ ‘’well for all the time i’ve known him, he’s not that sort of stallion’’ I reply confidently ‘’yeah that’s great, so how long you been friends?’’she asks quizzingly ‘’this morning’’ I whispered she sighed at what I said, then there was a crash of Rainbow Dash into Storm. Storm Rider’s POV Whew, that was a long two hours of Art lesson, it seemed half the room were determined to watch me and Twilight although I did notice Sharp getting a little bit friendly with Twilights friend Applejack, the bell for lunch rang before they could go any further than a bit of flirting. I walked down the hall in the group of Twilights friends in what they called ‘the Mane 6’ and a few friends Sharp made during the lesson, a white unicorn called Vinyl Scratch (DJ PON-3), an earth pony called Octavia and a gray pegasus called Ditzy Doo. Twilight and I walked side by side my wing over her again talking in our own conversation rather than the groups running debate over who is the better musician, DJ PON-3 or Octavia. We enter the hall and immediately claim a large table for us all, Twilight sitting on my left and Rainbow Dash on my right though I did notice Rainbow Dash kept staring at me and interrupting me every time I tried to hold a private conversation, “So, whos the fastest pegasus here? I'm willing to take that title from them” I exclaim loudly “Heh, that would be Rainbow Dash, best flier in all of Equestria!” A yellow Pegasus shouted before covering her mouth with her hooves, I raise an eyebrow “Is that so Rainbow Dash? well in that case I challenge you to a race after school on the field” I answer smartly, Rainbow Dash burst of laughing “You!? You’re going to race me?! Bwahahahaha! Alright I’ll play your game but don’t think I’m going to go easy on you just because your Twilights little coltfriend” Rainbow Dash taunted. The conversation lapsed into silence as we started to split off to get lunch, mmm hayburgers... I made a move to go get my own but Twilight pulled me back and motioned for me to stay until we were the last ponies there. After 5 minutes the only ponies left were Me, Twilight, Sharp, AppleJack and Ditzy who was eating her way through a box of muffins “Ugh why won’t these ponies leave?!” Twilight whispered annoyed “Hurry and go get your food Storm, I don’t want you gone too long” Twilight joked. I flew over to the food counters, picking up a tray and plate on my way then flew to the front of the queue “Hey! You just cut in line” a light cyan unicorn shouted “the great and powerful Trixie will not stand for this!” I looked backwards with a smirk “Oh? well the great and powerful Trixie is going to be stuck back there if she pisses me off now” I shout back to her, trotting along I pick up a large portion of grass (fries :P) and a hayburger. On my way back I could hear a familiar voice from a classroom through the wall oddly shrieking, I turn the corner and open the door out of curiosity and dropped my food in anger at the sight before me. “WHAT THE BUCK DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING” I screamed at the large black colt who seemed to be pushing Twilight around asking, no, demanding something from her “what’s it to you if this bitch won’t give me her lunch money, you know what Cloud, Silent smack that colt around” he spat at two dumb looking colts standing next to him, galvanized into action they began making their way towards me, unluckily not taking in my appearance. It seems my hooves were smoking and the blues of my eyes had turned blood red “YOU.DO.NOT.HIT.FILLIES” I screamed at them before going into a slow trot. Before reaching them I took a surprise left and spun my hind left leg in a sweeping motion, kicking the colt right in the head, he crumpled to the ground whimpering as I turn back around and hoofing the other colt in the face, he staggered back with a slight burn mark on his left cheek, thanks to my father for passing that certain skill on. I turn my attention to the ring leader and charge him, easily dodging his clumsy punch, I was now at his side, I bucked hard behind me and smiled at the sound of my hooves smacking into his ribs. Sharp Rhythm's POV As soon as Storm’s leg swung, I step into motion. Once he had damaged the other two stallions, he focused on the leader, the other stallions started to move toward the back of Storm to jump on him. I swiftly make my way to the closest one and swung my hind legs left and did a double leg buck into the right flank of the first stallion which spun him in my direction where I power bucked with my left hind leg into his jaw,where he fell on his left side, knocking him clean out. I was now back-to-back with Storm keeping the other stallion off his back, the stallion tried a power right leg buck, I dodged and punched him in the right flank, he took a few steps and now he was starting to limp on that leg. He got one or two hits on me but I kept punching him in the neck and jaw until he gave up and retreated back to his dorm. Storm rider’s POV The leader staggered after the powerful buck, which left two hoof marks on his side. He turned to look at the damage and gasped “you bastard!” he shouted before jumping forward, again I easily dodged and swiftly punched him in the side of the head, I then followed with a brutal uppercut which left him dazed and in path of the door. I couldn’t resist but scream “FINISH HIM” before bucking him hard and out the door “FATALITY” Sharp screamed in response, I brohoof Sharp before turning to Twilight who had been forced to watch the whole thing “I’m sorry about tha-” I was interrupted as she threw her hooves around my neck and kissed me, forcing her tongue into my open mouth. We held this way for a few seconds before I noticed Sharp awkwardly standing in the corner of the room, I dislodge myself from Twilight and ask “Well since I’m pretty sure we just missed lunch, how about I take you for dinner tomorrow?” I asked Twilight nervously “Heh same old Storm eh? Sure, I’d love to” Sharp Rhythm’s POV "From the fight I got a busted lip and some bruised ribs and what did you get...... a mare friend" as soon as I said that applejack trotted past and said "nice buckin' today sugar cube" and she gave a cheeky wink. Once she carried on down the hall I started blushing then I heard a sly comment "looks like I'm not the only one getting a marefriend in the first week" I sharply look back to see Storm entering the room, as I slowly follow in Storm shouts "come on, get yourself cleaned up we got a party to attend" "When was this arranged? "I ask Storm replied "this morning" "Ok then" I replied a bit grumpy. Upon entering my dorm I hear rock music, I shout out my door "Storm are you playing rock music" He replied curiously "no, why?" I slowly walk out my door and knock on the next one. The door suddenly open to a black pegasus with a red mane. He suddenly said "so you must be my roommates, hello I'm Serrated Edge" "Hi, I'm Sharp Rhythm". Storm Rider’s POV “Sup bro, Im Storm say is that Green Hay you’re listening to?” I asked curiously (Worst reference ever....) “Sure is, you listen?” Serrated said “Listen and play!, I used to play bass for a band back in Manehattan, I can see you play drums to” “Dude we need to play together sometime” “Alright guys, keep that till after the party shall we? You’re gonna ruin my dubstep beats with your crappy ass rock” interrupted a slightly annoyed Sharp “Party? where’s this going down then?” Serrated questioned “Down the hall, you can ride with us if you want, one thing before you go though” I paused for dramatic effect “There’s a lavender unicorn, goes by Twilight. She’s mine. Touch her and I will break every bone in your body, twice.” I warned “Well I guess thats it?” “Wait, I need to clean myself up if I'm gonna get attention from AppleJack” said Sharp “Hurry the buck up then, Im gonna go grab a change of clothes if you’re gonna piss about” I hurry back to my room and start pulling clothes out finally settling on a black and dark blue jacket and a fedora hat. I posed in my mirror attempting to hold a poker face eventually failing and burst out laughing, reaching behind my bed I pull a red and white electric guitar out from under my bed “Awww yeah fully badass!” Chapter 4: Party Time!Notice: This fiction is no longer top priority for the writers now, Sharp is working on his own fic, so is Storm that is why chapters may be lacking and updated less frequently. Chapter 4 still Storm The trio walked down the hall and I gotta say… we looked pretty messed up, with Sharp's busted lip, Serrated looking like he just crawled out of a grave and me well… looking full of SWAG. I hand my guitar over to Sharp and tell him to keep it safe for me "I'll be needing it later" I said with a wink "I'm going to get Twilight… you know walk her here". I left the two stallions on their own way in as I trotted down the hall and knocked on Twilight's door "Come in!" I heard her shout, I step into her room and feel my jaw drop, Twilight stood there in a party dress looking absolutely stunning "I…wha…how… I mean you look beautiful" Twilight blushed and thanked me with a quick kiss on the cheek, I imitated a high class pony and bowed "Should we depart then, my dear Twilight" Twilight laughed and took my hoof "we shall my gentle colt". Obscenely loud thumping could be heard from the room as we approached and a amplified voice could be heard "THROW YOU HANDS UP FOR DJ PON-3!" I put my wing over Twilight pulling her close and walk into the hosts dorm room which was in complete disarray, the singular dorm was HUGE with the same design as Twilights, with a living room, bathroom and its own kitchen. Ponies were dancing all over the couches, getting drunk off a huge bowl of some homemade apple cider "AND HERE COMES THE NEW COUPLE CARE TO DANCE TO MY ROCKIN' BEATS?!" Vinyl shouted over the microphone, I looked over at Twilight "Lets go." Sharp's POV Spinnin' the disks with Vinyl was a great idea I could see everything. All the dancing ponies, all my friend, and the pony I like, AppleJack. With Vinyl's bass blaster on full I tell Vinyl "I'm getting a drink" she nods still using the mixer. I head toward the drink table when the one pony I was looking for finds me and hands me some cider and says "you'll need one of these" I take my first swig and then I said "aj there is somthing I got to tell y-" she interrupted "no there is somethin' I gotta tell you" there was a deadly pause. I was running all the possibilities through my brain, all were bad, I started to sweat and shake until she finally spoke "I like you sugar cube, I really do" the one thing I didn't expect her to say came out, i reply " does this mean I have a chance? She looked at me and said "you can take me on a date? I said "I'll take you out to eat, around six maybe? " She grinned and said "see you then sugar" As I headed back to the mixer and Vinyl I shouted at the top of my voice "BUCK YEAH!" Then I calmed down and started to spin disk's again. Storm's POV Silently, I crept over to where AppleJack was talking to Sharp, just in time to hear her say "-date" smirking to myself I continued over to the cider table where Twilight was talking to Ditzy, I cracked open a bottle and downed it in one gulp "BUCK YEAH" I yelled as I slammed it back on the table "easy now pardner" a large red earth pony said "say, you look like you want to enjoy yourself? Take some of this" the pony continued as he slid a large bottle of vodka "now that's a ninety proof, a swig of that will leave you on your flank, eeyup!" I smiled as I raised the bottle to lips and started to chug it down "chug, chug, chug!" I could hear over the microphone, I got half way down before slamming it back down on the table "whew! That shits strong!", I turn back to Twilight "So Twi, care to dance?" I asked obviously drunk off my ass "Uh actually I wanted to ask a bit of a favour, you see Ditzy here has nopony to dance with and since I'm not up to it yet, would you take her up" Twilight asked sheepishly, Ditzy? Is that the grey Pegasus? Hmm yeah, she looks pretty nice I thought "sure, why not" I answered as Sharp leaned over to Twilight "Twilight pass me that vodka, I don't want to carry him home" 30 Minutes later Sharp's POV It's only been 30 minutes and Storm has asked me 20 odd times for the vodka and he's not giving up. Since we got the bottle me, aj,vinyl and tavia have been taking apple cider-vodka shot's and well lets say they work well together. Well it looks like the party is drawing the to a close and well Storm still managed to get more drink and is...well.....passed out, face first into the stage with a cider glass in his hand. I shout Serrated "HEY Serrated I need help taking drunk ass home. Once we've dragged him inside we left him in the middle of the floor, Serrated flopped on the couch and I managed to make it to bed. Storm Rider's POV Pfft killjoys, I stumble to my hooves still swaying from the effects of Big Macs vodka, I smack my head into the front door while fumbling for the handle. I manage to open it somehow... And began start making my way down the hall to where I could see a Lavender Unicorn standing outside her dorm "Storm? Wow I'm surprised you can even stand!" Twilight exclaimed when I finally got to her, she wrapped her hooves around my neck once again and started to drag me into her dorm, lips locked. Next Morning Storm arose to the light if Celestia's sun somehow making its way into the room, woah what the fuck did I do last night I asked myself, I shook my head and attempt to sit up but was restrained by a purple hoof. My eyes widened in shock as I realised where I was even though I knew nothing went on that we had already done it was still a shock to wake up in another persons bed. Chapter 5Chapter 5 Storm Rider's POV "Twi, you coming back to bed?" I shouted towards the door "It's only 6am!" I heard the door click shut and the sound of Twilight trotting over, she appeared in the doorway and began walking towards the bed, slowly swaying her flank, she climbed in and huddled close, I wrapped my wings around her and ask "who was that at the door, Twi?" "Oh it was Sharp asking if I knew where you are, you must have walked out of your room when they went to sleep" Twilight answered laughing softly "Oh Celestia, what am I going to do with you eh" she joked "Oh… I got an idea" I teased "Oh? And what is that exactly Mr.Rider?" I only smirked at her before rolling until she was on top of me, still wrapped in my wings "Oh so we're playing like this are we?" Twilight teased before lowering her head and forcing her tongue into my mouth, we held this for a minute or two before another knock on the door interrupted us. I watched from the bedroom door curiously as Twilight answered, I heard a posh sounding voice from the door like a Canterlot resident "Umm Storm? There's some pony here, says Serrated told him to come here" Twilight said to me, with a confused expression, I approached the door to see a white unicorn stallion "Hello there Storm, my name is Aurora and I believe I am your last roommate" wow where the hell did this guy come from, he turns up a day late and just waltzes in? "Uh well I'm Storm as you already know, and it would be greatly appreciated if you could go introduce yourself to Sharp" I hoped he would take the hint, from me being in a mares room, a messed up mane and a determination to be left alone "Humph you might want to acknowledge that I am affiliated with Canterlot royalty before speaking to me in that manner, but very well I shall leave you and your lady friend alone, good day" I turned around smiling at Twilight "You want to continue from where we left off?" Instead of answer she ran and tackled me "Oh you know I do" Storm’s POV 2 hours later from Aurora meeting Sharp Silently, I stood next to Twilight waiting for Rainbow Dash to stop mouthing off about how she’s going to beat me... In 10 seconds flat, damn that mare can talk no wonder she hasn’t got a colt friend. “You ready to get beaten yet” She yelled over the howl of the wind “Sure, I guess...” I replied uncertainly, I turn to Twilight and give her a quick kiss on the cheek “Please don’t get hurt up there Storm, if its too much please just give up” Twilight pleaded, I managed to smile while unfurling my wings, oh shit... what the buck was I getting myself into, my breaths started to quicken as I began to worry “Wow you spend more time on the ground than an earth pony” Rainbow taunted from the starting cloud I sighed, jumped forwards and flew to the cloud “Three! Two! One! GO” Rainbow shouted over the howls of the wind then shot off like a bullet with me in close pursuit, we stayed this way for a while, jockeying for position until she turned, smiled and put on a huge burst of speed. I barely had time to register before the cone started to form around her… no bucking way she was going to attempt that now, the wind was way too strong she’ll kill herself, just as I finished that thought I watched her slow to stop and plummet from the sky. My eyes widened as I went into a dive with my hooves outstretched at such an angle it could cut the wind resistance, I realised I was not going to make it as Rainbow was now only a hundred feet from the ground, tears formed in my eyes as the cone of air formed. With a scream I pushed forward, slingshotted from the immense force of breaking the sound barrier. I caught up easily to Rainbow Dash and grabbed her in my outstretched hooves which added an undercoat of rainbow under the revolving white and red vortex that formed after my sonic boom. I pulled up sharply and collapsed to the ground still holding Rainbow Dash in my arms, I managed to keep my eyes open long enough to see the rest of our Arts class (Who had been the audience for the race) galloping towards us, Twilight, Serrated, Sharp and oddly Aurora leading the pack, I closed my eyes and passed out on to the cold grass. Sharp’s POV As I gallop to Storm and Rainbow Dash with Twilight in the lead and Serrated and surprisingly Aurora. upon arriving at where they landed twilight instantly fell to his side and started to panic picking up one of his hooves. I shout to Serrated " Serrated get Dash to the nurse" he swiftly nodded and with the help of Aurora carried her off, I quickly look at Twilight and said "I don't want you to help me carry him, but use your magic to balance him on my back" still panicked she didn't see the other two mares load him on my back and she only came out of shock when I was in a fast gallop headed for the university. She caught up when I was near the entrance where she flung the doors open in front of me. As we're twisting and turning through the maze of halls to get to the nurse, we see many ponies gasping and crying, hey even some following. When were on the same hall as the nurse's office I hear "there is one more passed out pony coming in" I hear Serrated say "Another one? What were they doing?" The nurse exclaimed "Racing" he replied "They keep this up it'll kill them" the nurse replied abruptly As I reach the door I collapsed but Twilight managed lifted him up and on to the nurse table as my legs gave way. Sound starts fading and then I passed out. Chapter 1: IntroductionsIntroduction Equestria University, where parents shipped of their little colts and fillies to learn about the world outside their homes. The lessons where the same you would find in any school with the except of the practicality during lessons, like for P.E you would buck trees or run laps around the field to get you into shape and give you a taste of work for when your parents cannot bear to put you with you no longer. Furthering the approach for outside of school practices the school gave job for those who are willing. Well I guess you guys are wondering why I am here, well I just thought it was time to get back into my studies after the troubles of the passing years so I decided to leave everything behind and start anew in Equestria University but before I go into a long, boring and possibly deadly history lesson I should introduce myself. Well, my name is Storm Rider, yeah the most generic name possible, and as the name suggests I am a pegasus pony, my mane is white and red streaked with the same pattern going through my tail. My coat is a light shade of blue complimented with the occasional darker blot but the one thing that stuck out of my.... light coat was a black comet design on my flank symbolising my love for speed and of course my ‘party’ trick. POV Storm Rider With a heavy sigh I cast a look at the ominous school buildings in front of me with steady streams of students filtering their way from building to building, a few new arrivals stood behind me each with their own families crying and fussing over their little fillies and colts who were leaving them while I stood alone, silent, my family had long since last me on my own and thrust me into a world of turmoil. “Uhh hey, are you new here? I can show you around if you want” A purple unicorn asked, I snapped back to reality and away from my own thoughts I looked her over taking in her appearance, I smile back at her. “Yes I am new, my name is Storm Rider pleased to meet you” I answered holding out my hoof the unicorn blushed as she took my hoof and shook it. “Well, my name is Twilight Sparkle. I can show you to your dorm and help you get to your lesson rooms” She replied, still blushing. Why was she doing that? I shook my head to avoid jumping to conclusions so early “Well, my room number is 515 could you take me there first?” “Sure just follow me I’m just down the hall so just shout if you need.. anything”. I furrowed my brow confused at the pause in the mares sentence, I shook my head again still refusing to believe what seemed so obvious. I started to follow her still thinking about her actions during our conversation, wondering if... just if... Nevermind although looking at her now she had a pretty nice flank and I wouldn’t say no. Sharp Rhythm's POV To the sound of muffled voices outside the door I begin to head toward it, slowly I step towards the door forever tilting my ear to get a better sound, until I hear "well I guess I'll be seeing you around" from a filly and then "ok, see you around" from a stallion who swung the door open nearly knocking me over, the blue pegasus said "oh sorry I didn't know you were that close to the door" "well it's alright, I see you’re already getting attention from the fillies then?” “Uh I guess so” the pegasus replied uncertainly "Well hi, I'm Sharp Rythem" I replied "Pleased to meet you, I'm Storm Rider but you can call me Storm, it's what every pony else does" the Pegasus said, holding out his hoof "Well call me Sharp" I said shaking the other ponies hoof. Storm Riders POV Breaking the hoof shake with my new roommate I walk over to the small 'room' which provided privacy from the rest of my dorm, I pick the one closest to the window, being a Pegasus I enjoy some late night flying and don't want to wake Sharp. I started to pile my possessions into the small locker before pulling a small piece of paper from my jackets pocket "Hm Art at 9am, not a bad way to start…" I thought to myself, I finishing packing and open my door " HEY! Sharp! You wanna go for some breakfast?" "Breakfast? Well lead on" Sharp replied "Sure thing, I just need to" I scrambled for an excuse "uhh go… see Twilight, you know that mare from earlier?" "Oh, well...I'll save you a space" "We're sitting with Twilight's friends, she said we'll know them when we see them" I answered kicking my door closed and heading towards the front door "See ya down there buddy" I shouted back into the room. Sharp Rhythm's POV "I wish I knew what was going through that stallion's head" I mutter to myself "still must not miss breakfast" still murmuring to myself. I headed towards the door and proceeded to leave, while I was closing the I could hear the stampede headed for the dining hall "oh hay bails, I'll never get served in that queue" so I turn and gallop down the hall to the dinner hall shouting "hay on toast here I COME!". Storm Rider's POV I stood awkwardly outside of Twilights door, making small movements with my hooves, I could hear her through the door speaking with another posher sounding voice "Oh deary let's not get too excited her, you've just met him you need to calm down before you get yourself hurt" the posh voice said. "I know Rarity but…" Twilight almost sounded like she was pleading as the conversation lapsed into an awkward silence. I stood shocked at what I heard was it… was it me they were talking about? A new found surge of confidence came over me, I messed my mane up slightly then laughed at myself for doing so… I raised my hoof to the door and slowly knocked. Twilight opened the door and blushed… again before speaking "Oh hey Storm Rider, do you need anything?" She said not looking at me but the carpet a few feet in front of me "Well… I was kinda hoping to get some breakfast or at the least meet some of your friends" I replied trying to keep a poker face. "Oh sure just let me grab my saddlebag and we can go" She said in a slightly rushed voice. I could hear hushed voices from indoors before a white unicorn with a purple mane appeared, smirking "Hello, Storm is it? My name is Rarity, pleasure to meet you" Rarity said in a calm voice keeping the smirk "Twilight will be out in a second, I shall leave you TWO alone. She pranced away down the hall with a huge smirk.
Chapter 2: Breakfast showdown=====UPDATE===== Due to the suggestion in the comments, we have looked over some of the chapters and edited small parts, although we are not adapting the full suggestion to the fiction (One of our writers disapproved of the chapter long povs) on the main story however, the writer for Storm is rewriting the fiction in one POV on his own FiMFiction account (http://www.fimfiction.net/user/Storm%20Rider). Another reason for the chapter long POVs being disapproved of, is that we have already written a up to chapter 6 in the fiction and are adding onto it as I type this. Sorry for not being able to tailor to the full suggestion but one of our writers is physically unable to do so, reasons withheld =====Update==== Chapter 2 Sharp Rhythm's POV "Well standing against a wall waiting for a friend is hard work" I huffed bored out of my mind. It's even worse on an empty stomach, I’m not a huge fan of lines which were a unorganised mass of shoving, hitting and spitting. I sigh and begin to patrol my way down the sides of the hall, looking for a avaliable table, I manage to find one and begin to pick my way through the crowd. Storm Rider's POV Twilight emerged from her dorm, smiling and blushing still "Hey, you ready to go?" She said excitedly "Sure, I guess" I muttered as Twilight started walking down the hall, I sped up and walked alongside her. She turned and smiled at me, feeling as though it was natural, I opened my wings and wrapped one over her, pulling her close. All down the hall ponies were pointing, muttering and staring causing a strong blush for both of us, which was easily visible due to our light coats. We stepped into the dining hall my wing still pulling Twilight close, I scanned the area for friendly faces, finding one in Sharp I begin making my way over but suddenly a rainbow blur passing in front of us made us stop abruptly. "Now what the hay do you think you're doing?!" The rainbow pony exclaimed sounding incredibly angry. "Well… You see Rainbow Dash… Me and Storm… were just getting breakfast" Twilight spluttered, we tried to make our way around but a strong lasso gripped my hooves tightly "Where the hay do you think you two are going?!" A orange pony with a strong southern accent asked, I looked pleadingly at Sharp "Little help here bro?" Sharp Rhythm's POV "Oh no" I rush to my hooves and proceeded to trot towards my troubled friend when the same rainbow pony, the one that purple unicorn called Rainbow Dash got in front of me and said "who are you" squaring up to my face "Well I'm Sharp and I'm here to help him" "Well why are you helping him" the rainbow pony questioned me "I'm his friend" I reply defiantly "Well.... If he's got a friend why was he taking ours "the rainbow pony said still not giving up "Look I don't know what is going on, Storm would you care to explain to me and miss.... I'm sorry I don't know you name it's..." I said to the purple unicorn. "Twilight, it's Twilight " the purple unicorn replied "Right where was I.... ah yes explain to me and miss Twilights friend what you're doing". "Well… I was just waking Twilight to the hall-" Storm began "WITH YOUR WING AROUND HER!" The rainbow pony interjected "Well uhh yeah it was just… you know uh a friendly gesture" Storm managed to stammer obviously embarrassed by the situation at hand "That's all there is to it I swear…" he finished. " huh this wasn't the way I expected to get introduced to miss Twilights friends" I said in the deadly silence. Storm Rider's POV I stood still, my wing still over Twilight as both our friends thought about my explanation, the rainbow pony still looked at me with disbelief and was about to rejoin the argument when the white unicorn from Twilights room walked into the middle enjoying her spotlight as the room watched "Well I for one think he's very sweet showing that affection though it is… a little too soon" the argument lapsed into a awkward silence, friends still facing each other off while me and Twilight stood of in a corner blushing deeply. *RING*RING*RING* "Well… looks like its time for class…" Sharp Rhythm's POV ‘’Wow man really, you got a marefriend on the first morning, of the first term on the first year that must be an academy record or somthing like that" I said, walking alongside Storm, now that those crazy mares got out of our way “Dude, she isn’t my... marefriend, we’re just friends, just good friends” Storm said while blushing which was weird, he doesn't seem like the type of stallion to do that must be picking it up from all his time with Twilight ‘’Well...... I don’t think everypony else see’s that way’’ I reply uncertainly ‘’well Storm, bro.... it looked affectionate.... I mean with the wing over her and stuff’’ I carried on as we approach the art class, we noticed Twilight and her friends entering the classroom, once her friends had entered she looked down the hall straight at Storm and gave a cheeky smile and blushed. Before Storm had a chance to do anything back she had disappeared into the class. “Uhh we need to hurry up dude... Don't want to be late on the first day...” Storm said obviously excited by the mares smile “We should uhh sit next to Twilight friends, get to know them” ‘’WHOA!, you sure you want to from what happened this morning’’ I exclaimed loudly ‘’yeah..... I’m sure’’ he replied starting to calm down from the mornings events ‘’yeah well keep doing what you’re doing and we’ll definitely think you're more than friends’’ I answer with a smart smirk “Yeah buck you to dude” Storm replied shortly. Upon entering the classroom I see Storm dart toward the chair next to Twilight who, by the looks of thing was expecting him too, I scan the room for another available seat when I spot one next the orange pony from breakfast hopefully she won't tie my legs up. ‘’hi, is this seat taken?’’ ‘’no sugarcube, you can sit there’’ I take my seat and the orange pony started to speak again ‘’ I’m applejack, and you are?’’she said holding out her hoof ‘’ I’m Sharp rhythm’’ I reply shaking her hoof. Storm Rider’s POV I sit in the chair just as the Art teacher started talking, unexpectedly Twilight never took her eyes off me, ignoring the teacher completely. I returned the smile from before as she started to speak, again completely disregarding the teacher. “Hey Storm Rider!” She exclaimed happily I chuckled before answering this time “Just call me Storm, Twilight” “Oh okay Storm, are you enjoying your time here so far?” She said, blushing “So far its been good, I still need to meet my other two roommates though” “I'm sure they’ll turn up, so what’s your.... favorite part of the day so far” She asked with a smile on her face “Heh I’m pretty sure you already what it is Twilight” I laughed as I edge closer to her, facing her....

Rainbow Dash’s POV I gasped as I realised what they were about to do, as Twilight edged closer to Storm a smirk on her face, Rainbow Dash opened her wings as a grin spread across her face she was about to stop what was about to happen... Storm Rider’s POV I edged myself further while Twilight put her hooves around my neck pulling my head towards her’s and.... Upmh a object slammed into my side as I was driven off my chair crashing into the table across from us bringing down the table, chairs and the occupants. “Rainbow Dash! What the buck are you doing!?” Screamed a very pissed off Twilight as I was pulled to my hooves by the occupants of the table, Rarity who I recognised from lunch and a pink filly with bloons as her cutie mark “Oh hey hey hey there!” the pink filly mumbled at high speed “my name is Pinkie Pie and- oh you’re new here! aren’t you? Oh this calls for a party! I’ll get cupcakes and drinks and food and oh music of course!” I could barely understand the filly as she spoke so fast half of her words slurred into the other! Sharp Rhythm’s POV before the incident As I ever keep a watchful eye on Storm but my attention was also elsewhere. Ever since i've been acquainted with Applejack I can't take eyes off her, i mean she was....she was......wow. ‘’Since this mornin’ Twi and Storm have been getting real friendly haven't they’’ my ears quickly picked up ‘’yeah,yeah’’ I answered quickly to look like I wasn't distracted ‘’I was a bit shocked’’ ‘’ well this is the first time I think Twi has ever been in love an’ so quickly too’’ she whispered looking concerned ‘’and I hope that he doesn't break her heart’’ ‘’well for all the time i’ve known him, he’s not that sort of stallion’’ I reply confidently ‘’yeah that’s great, so how long you been friends?’’she asks quizzingly ‘’this morning’’ I whispered she sighed at what I said, then there was a crash of Rainbow Dash into Storm. Storm Rider’s POV Whew, that was a long two hours of Art lesson, it seemed half the room were determined to watch me and Twilight although I did notice Sharp getting a little bit friendly with Twilights friend Applejack, the bell for lunch rang before they could go any further than a bit of flirting. I walked down the hall in the group of Twilights friends in what they called ‘the Mane 6’ and a few friends Sharp made during the lesson, a white unicorn called Vinyl Scratch (DJ PON-3), an earth pony called Octavia and a gray pegasus called Ditzy Doo. Twilight and I walked side by side my wing over her again talking in our own conversation rather than the groups running debate over who is the better musician, DJ PON-3 or Octavia. We enter the hall and immediately claim a large table for us all, Twilight sitting on my left and Rainbow Dash on my right though I did notice Rainbow Dash kept staring at me and interrupting me every time I tried to hold a private conversation, “So, whos the fastest pegasus here? I'm willing to take that title from them” I exclaim loudly “Heh, that would be Rainbow Dash, best flier in all of Equestria!” A yellow Pegasus shouted before covering her mouth with her hooves, I raise an eyebrow “Is that so Rainbow Dash? well in that case I challenge you to a race after school on the field” I answer smartly, Rainbow Dash burst of laughing “You!? You’re going to race me?! Bwahahahaha! Alright I’ll play your game but don’t think I’m going to go easy on you just because your Twilights little coltfriend” Rainbow Dash taunted. The conversation lapsed into silence as we started to split off to get lunch, mmm hayburgers... I made a move to go get my own but Twilight pulled me back and motioned for me to stay until we were the last ponies there. After 5 minutes the only ponies left were Me, Twilight, Sharp, AppleJack and Ditzy who was eating her way through a box of muffins “Ugh why won’t these ponies leave?!” Twilight whispered annoyed “Hurry and go get your food Storm, I don’t want you gone too long” Twilight joked. I flew over to the food counters, picking up a tray and plate on my way then flew to the front of the queue “Hey! You just cut in line” a light cyan unicorn shouted “the great and powerful Trixie will not stand for this!” I looked backwards with a smirk “Oh? well the great and powerful Trixie is going to be stuck back there if she pisses me off now” I shout back to her, trotting along I pick up a large portion of grass (fries :P) and a hayburger. On my way back I could hear a familiar voice from a classroom through the wall oddly shrieking, I turn the corner and open the door out of curiosity and dropped my food in anger at the sight before me. “WHAT THE BUCK DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING” I screamed at the large black colt who seemed to be pushing Twilight around asking, no, demanding something from her “what’s it to you if this bitch won’t give me her lunch money, you know what Cloud, Silent smack that colt around” he spat at two dumb looking colts standing next to him, galvanized into action they began making their way towards me, unluckily not taking in my appearance. It seems my hooves were smoking and the blues of my eyes had turned blood red “YOU.DO.NOT.HIT.FILLIES” I screamed at them before going into a slow trot. Before reaching them I took a surprise left and spun my hind left leg in a sweeping motion, kicking the colt right in the head, he crumpled to the ground whimpering as I turn back around and hoofing the other colt in the face, he staggered back with a slight burn mark on his left cheek, thanks to my father for passing that certain skill on. I turn my attention to the ring leader and charge him, easily dodging his clumsy punch, I was now at his side, I bucked hard behind me and smiled at the sound of my hooves smacking into his ribs. Sharp Rhythm's POV As soon as Storm’s leg swung, I step into motion. Once he had damaged the other two stallions, he focused on the leader, the other stallions started to move toward the back of Storm to jump on him. I swiftly make my way to the closest one and swung my hind legs left and did a double leg buck into the right flank of the first stallion which spun him in my direction where I power bucked with my left hind leg into his jaw,where he fell on his left side, knocking him clean out. I was now back-to-back with Storm keeping the other stallion off his back, the stallion tried a power right leg buck, I dodged and punched him in the right flank, he took a few steps and now he was starting to limp on that leg. He got one or two hits on me but I kept punching him in the neck and jaw until he gave up and retreated back to his dorm. Storm rider’s POV The leader staggered after the powerful buck, which left two hoof marks on his side. He turned to look at the damage and gasped “you bastard!” he shouted before jumping forward, again I easily dodged and swiftly punched him in the side of the head, I then followed with a brutal uppercut which left him dazed and in path of the door. I couldn’t resist but scream “FINISH HIM” before bucking him hard and out the door “FATALITY” Sharp screamed in response, I brohoof Sharp before turning to Twilight who had been forced to watch the whole thing “I’m sorry about tha-” I was interrupted as she threw her hooves around my neck and kissed me, forcing her tongue into my open mouth. We held this way for a few seconds before I noticed Sharp awkwardly standing in the corner of the room, I dislodge myself from Twilight and ask “Well since I’m pretty sure we just missed lunch, how about I take you for dinner tomorrow?” I asked Twilight nervously “Heh same old Storm eh? Sure, I’d love to” Sharp Rhythm’s POV "From the fight I got a busted lip and some bruised ribs and what did you get...... a mare friend" as soon as I said that applejack trotted past and said "nice buckin' today sugar cube" and she gave a cheeky wink. Once she carried on down the hall I started blushing then I heard a sly comment "looks like I'm not the only one getting a marefriend in the first week" I sharply look back to see Storm entering the room, as I slowly follow in Storm shouts "come on, get yourself cleaned up we got a party to attend" "When was this arranged? "I ask Storm replied "this morning" "Ok then" I replied a bit grumpy. Upon entering my dorm I hear rock music, I shout out my door "Storm are you playing rock music" He replied curiously "no, why?" I slowly walk out my door and knock on the next one. The door suddenly open to a black pegasus with a red mane. He suddenly said "so you must be my roommates, hello I'm Serrated Edge" "Hi, I'm Sharp Rhythm". Storm Rider’s POV “Sup bro, Im Storm say is that Green Hay you’re listening to?” I asked curiously (Worst reference ever....) “Sure is, you listen?” Serrated said “Listen and play!, I used to play bass for a band back in Manehattan, I can see you play drums to” “Dude we need to play together sometime” “Alright guys, keep that till after the party shall we? You’re gonna ruin my dubstep beats with your crappy ass rock” interrupted a slightly annoyed Sharp “Party? where’s this going down then?” Serrated questioned “Down the hall, you can ride with us if you want, one thing before you go though” I paused for dramatic effect “There’s a lavender unicorn, goes by Twilight. She’s mine. Touch her and I will break every bone in your body, twice.” I warned “Well I guess thats it?” “Wait, I need to clean myself up if I'm gonna get attention from AppleJack” said Sharp “Hurry the buck up then, Im gonna go grab a change of clothes if you’re gonna piss about” I hurry back to my room and start pulling clothes out finally settling on a black and dark blue jacket and a fedora hat. I posed in my mirror attempting to hold a poker face eventually failing and burst out laughing, reaching behind my bed I pull a red and white electric guitar out from under my bed “Awww yeah fully badass!”
Chapter 4: Party Time!Notice: This fiction is no longer top priority for the writers now, Sharp is working on his own fic, so is Storm that is why chapters may be lacking and updated less frequently. Chapter 4 still Storm The trio walked down the hall and I gotta say… we looked pretty messed up, with Sharp's busted lip, Serrated looking like he just crawled out of a grave and me well… looking full of SWAG. I hand my guitar over to Sharp and tell him to keep it safe for me "I'll be needing it later" I said with a wink "I'm going to get Twilight… you know walk her here". I left the two stallions on their own way in as I trotted down the hall and knocked on Twilight's door "Come in!" I heard her shout, I step into her room and feel my jaw drop, Twilight stood there in a party dress looking absolutely stunning "I…wha…how… I mean you look beautiful" Twilight blushed and thanked me with a quick kiss on the cheek, I imitated a high class pony and bowed "Should we depart then, my dear Twilight" Twilight laughed and took my hoof "we shall my gentle colt". Obscenely loud thumping could be heard from the room as we approached and a amplified voice could be heard "THROW YOU HANDS UP FOR DJ PON-3!" I put my wing over Twilight pulling her close and walk into the hosts dorm room which was in complete disarray, the singular dorm was HUGE with the same design as Twilights, with a living room, bathroom and its own kitchen. Ponies were dancing all over the couches, getting drunk off a huge bowl of some homemade apple cider "AND HERE COMES THE NEW COUPLE CARE TO DANCE TO MY ROCKIN' BEATS?!" Vinyl shouted over the microphone, I looked over at Twilight "Lets go." Sharp's POV Spinnin' the disks with Vinyl was a great idea I could see everything. All the dancing ponies, all my friend, and the pony I like, AppleJack. With Vinyl's bass blaster on full I tell Vinyl "I'm getting a drink" she nods still using the mixer. I head toward the drink table when the one pony I was looking for finds me and hands me some cider and says "you'll need one of these" I take my first swig and then I said "aj there is somthing I got to tell y-" she interrupted "no there is somethin' I gotta tell you" there was a deadly pause. I was running all the possibilities through my brain, all were bad, I started to sweat and shake until she finally spoke "I like you sugar cube, I really do" the one thing I didn't expect her to say came out, i reply " does this mean I have a chance? She looked at me and said "you can take me on a date? I said "I'll take you out to eat, around six maybe? " She grinned and said "see you then sugar" As I headed back to the mixer and Vinyl I shouted at the top of my voice "BUCK YEAH!" Then I calmed down and started to spin disk's again. Storm's POV Silently, I crept over to where AppleJack was talking to Sharp, just in time to hear her say "-date" smirking to myself I continued over to the cider table where Twilight was talking to Ditzy, I cracked open a bottle and downed it in one gulp "BUCK YEAH" I yelled as I slammed it back on the table "easy now pardner" a large red earth pony said "say, you look like you want to enjoy yourself? Take some of this" the pony continued as he slid a large bottle of vodka "now that's a ninety proof, a swig of that will leave you on your flank, eeyup!" I smiled as I raised the bottle to lips and started to chug it down "chug, chug, chug!" I could hear over the microphone, I got half way down before slamming it back down on the table "whew! That shits strong!", I turn back to Twilight "So Twi, care to dance?" I asked obviously drunk off my ass "Uh actually I wanted to ask a bit of a favour, you see Ditzy here has nopony to dance with and since I'm not up to it yet, would you take her up" Twilight asked sheepishly, Ditzy? Is that the grey Pegasus? Hmm yeah, she looks pretty nice I thought "sure, why not" I answered as Sharp leaned over to Twilight "Twilight pass me that vodka, I don't want to carry him home" 30 Minutes later Sharp's POV It's only been 30 minutes and Storm has asked me 20 odd times for the vodka and he's not giving up. Since we got the bottle me, aj,vinyl and tavia have been taking apple cider-vodka shot's and well lets say they work well together. Well it looks like the party is drawing the to a close and well Storm still managed to get more drink and is...well.....passed out, face first into the stage with a cider glass in his hand. I shout Serrated "HEY Serrated I need help taking drunk ass home. Once we've dragged him inside we left him in the middle of the floor, Serrated flopped on the couch and I managed to make it to bed. Storm Rider's POV Pfft killjoys, I stumble to my hooves still swaying from the effects of Big Macs vodka, I smack my head into the front door while fumbling for the handle. I manage to open it somehow... And began start making my way down the hall to where I could see a Lavender Unicorn standing outside her dorm "Storm? Wow I'm surprised you can even stand!" Twilight exclaimed when I finally got to her, she wrapped her hooves around my neck once again and started to drag me into her dorm, lips locked. Next Morning Storm arose to the light if Celestia's sun somehow making its way into the room, woah what the fuck did I do last night I asked myself, I shook my head and attempt to sit up but was restrained by a purple hoof. My eyes widened in shock as I realised where I was even though I knew nothing went on that we had already done it was still a shock to wake up in another persons bed.
Chapter 5Chapter 5 Storm Rider's POV "Twi, you coming back to bed?" I shouted towards the door "It's only 6am!" I heard the door click shut and the sound of Twilight trotting over, she appeared in the doorway and began walking towards the bed, slowly swaying her flank, she climbed in and huddled close, I wrapped my wings around her and ask "who was that at the door, Twi?" "Oh it was Sharp asking if I knew where you are, you must have walked out of your room when they went to sleep" Twilight answered laughing softly "Oh Celestia, what am I going to do with you eh" she joked "Oh… I got an idea" I teased "Oh? And what is that exactly Mr.Rider?" I only smirked at her before rolling until she was on top of me, still wrapped in my wings "Oh so we're playing like this are we?" Twilight teased before lowering her head and forcing her tongue into my mouth, we held this for a minute or two before another knock on the door interrupted us. I watched from the bedroom door curiously as Twilight answered, I heard a posh sounding voice from the door like a Canterlot resident "Umm Storm? There's some pony here, says Serrated told him to come here" Twilight said to me, with a confused expression, I approached the door to see a white unicorn stallion "Hello there Storm, my name is Aurora and I believe I am your last roommate" wow where the hell did this guy come from, he turns up a day late and just waltzes in? "Uh well I'm Storm as you already know, and it would be greatly appreciated if you could go introduce yourself to Sharp" I hoped he would take the hint, from me being in a mares room, a messed up mane and a determination to be left alone "Humph you might want to acknowledge that I am affiliated with Canterlot royalty before speaking to me in that manner, but very well I shall leave you and your lady friend alone, good day" I turned around smiling at Twilight "You want to continue from where we left off?" Instead of answer she ran and tackled me "Oh you know I do" Storm’s POV 2 hours later from Aurora meeting Sharp Silently, I stood next to Twilight waiting for Rainbow Dash to stop mouthing off about how she’s going to beat me... In 10 seconds flat, damn that mare can talk no wonder she hasn’t got a colt friend. “You ready to get beaten yet” She yelled over the howl of the wind “Sure, I guess...” I replied uncertainly, I turn to Twilight and give her a quick kiss on the cheek “Please don’t get hurt up there Storm, if its too much please just give up” Twilight pleaded, I managed to smile while unfurling my wings, oh shit... what the buck was I getting myself into, my breaths started to quicken as I began to worry “Wow you spend more time on the ground than an earth pony” Rainbow taunted from the starting cloud I sighed, jumped forwards and flew to the cloud “Three! Two! One! GO” Rainbow shouted over the howls of the wind then shot off like a bullet with me in close pursuit, we stayed this way for a while, jockeying for position until she turned, smiled and put on a huge burst of speed. I barely had time to register before the cone started to form around her… no bucking way she was going to attempt that now, the wind was way too strong she’ll kill herself, just as I finished that thought I watched her slow to stop and plummet from the sky. My eyes widened as I went into a dive with my hooves outstretched at such an angle it could cut the wind resistance, I realised I was not going to make it as Rainbow was now only a hundred feet from the ground, tears formed in my eyes as the cone of air formed. With a scream I pushed forward, slingshotted from the immense force of breaking the sound barrier. I caught up easily to Rainbow Dash and grabbed her in my outstretched hooves which added an undercoat of rainbow under the revolving white and red vortex that formed after my sonic boom. I pulled up sharply and collapsed to the ground still holding Rainbow Dash in my arms, I managed to keep my eyes open long enough to see the rest of our Arts class (Who had been the audience for the race) galloping towards us, Twilight, Serrated, Sharp and oddly Aurora leading the pack, I closed my eyes and passed out on to the cold grass. Sharp’s POV As I gallop to Storm and Rainbow Dash with Twilight in the lead and Serrated and surprisingly Aurora. upon arriving at where they landed twilight instantly fell to his side and started to panic picking up one of his hooves. I shout to Serrated " Serrated get Dash to the nurse" he swiftly nodded and with the help of Aurora carried her off, I quickly look at Twilight and said "I don't want you to help me carry him, but use your magic to balance him on my back" still panicked she didn't see the other two mares load him on my back and she only came out of shock when I was in a fast gallop headed for the university. She caught up when I was near the entrance where she flung the doors open in front of me. As we're twisting and turning through the maze of halls to get to the nurse, we see many ponies gasping and crying, hey even some following. When were on the same hall as the nurse's office I hear "there is one more passed out pony coming in" I hear Serrated say "Another one? What were they doing?" The nurse exclaimed "Racing" he replied "They keep this up it'll kill them" the nurse replied abruptly As I reach the door I collapsed but Twilight managed lifted him up and on to the nurse table as my legs gave way. Sound starts fading and then I passed out.
Chapter 1: IntroductionsIntroduction Equestria University, where parents shipped of their little colts and fillies to learn about the world outside their homes. The lessons where the same you would find in any school with the except of the practicality during lessons, like for P.E you would buck trees or run laps around the field to get you into shape and give you a taste of work for when your parents cannot bear to put you with you no longer. Furthering the approach for outside of school practices the school gave job for those who are willing. Well I guess you guys are wondering why I am here, well I just thought it was time to get back into my studies after the troubles of the passing years so I decided to leave everything behind and start anew in Equestria University but before I go into a long, boring and possibly deadly history lesson I should introduce myself. Well, my name is Storm Rider, yeah the most generic name possible, and as the name suggests I am a pegasus pony, my mane is white and red streaked with the same pattern going through my tail. My coat is a light shade of blue complimented with the occasional darker blot but the one thing that stuck out of my.... light coat was a black comet design on my flank symbolising my love for speed and of course my ‘party’ trick. POV Storm Rider With a heavy sigh I cast a look at the ominous school buildings in front of me with steady streams of students filtering their way from building to building, a few new arrivals stood behind me each with their own families crying and fussing over their little fillies and colts who were leaving them while I stood alone, silent, my family had long since last me on my own and thrust me into a world of turmoil. “Uhh hey, are you new here? I can show you around if you want” A purple unicorn asked, I snapped back to reality and away from my own thoughts I looked her over taking in her appearance, I smile back at her. “Yes I am new, my name is Storm Rider pleased to meet you” I answered holding out my hoof the unicorn blushed as she took my hoof and shook it. “Well, my name is Twilight Sparkle. I can show you to your dorm and help you get to your lesson rooms” She replied, still blushing. Why was she doing that? I shook my head to avoid jumping to conclusions so early “Well, my room number is 515 could you take me there first?” “Sure just follow me I’m just down the hall so just shout if you need.. anything”. I furrowed my brow confused at the pause in the mares sentence, I shook my head again still refusing to believe what seemed so obvious. I started to follow her still thinking about her actions during our conversation, wondering if... just if... Nevermind although looking at her now she had a pretty nice flank and I wouldn’t say no. Sharp Rhythm's POV To the sound of muffled voices outside the door I begin to head toward it, slowly I step towards the door forever tilting my ear to get a better sound, until I hear "well I guess I'll be seeing you around" from a filly and then "ok, see you around" from a stallion who swung the door open nearly knocking me over, the blue pegasus said "oh sorry I didn't know you were that close to the door" "well it's alright, I see you’re already getting attention from the fillies then?” “Uh I guess so” the pegasus replied uncertainly "Well hi, I'm Sharp Rythem" I replied "Pleased to meet you, I'm Storm Rider but you can call me Storm, it's what every pony else does" the Pegasus said, holding out his hoof "Well call me Sharp" I said shaking the other ponies hoof. Storm Riders POV Breaking the hoof shake with my new roommate I walk over to the small 'room' which provided privacy from the rest of my dorm, I pick the one closest to the window, being a Pegasus I enjoy some late night flying and don't want to wake Sharp. I started to pile my possessions into the small locker before pulling a small piece of paper from my jackets pocket "Hm Art at 9am, not a bad way to start…" I thought to myself, I finishing packing and open my door " HEY! Sharp! You wanna go for some breakfast?" "Breakfast? Well lead on" Sharp replied "Sure thing, I just need to" I scrambled for an excuse "uhh go… see Twilight, you know that mare from earlier?" "Oh, well...I'll save you a space" "We're sitting with Twilight's friends, she said we'll know them when we see them" I answered kicking my door closed and heading towards the front door "See ya down there buddy" I shouted back into the room. Sharp Rhythm's POV "I wish I knew what was going through that stallion's head" I mutter to myself "still must not miss breakfast" still murmuring to myself. I headed towards the door and proceeded to leave, while I was closing the I could hear the stampede headed for the dining hall "oh hay bails, I'll never get served in that queue" so I turn and gallop down the hall to the dinner hall shouting "hay on toast here I COME!". Storm Rider's POV I stood awkwardly outside of Twilights door, making small movements with my hooves, I could hear her through the door speaking with another posher sounding voice "Oh deary let's not get too excited her, you've just met him you need to calm down before you get yourself hurt" the posh voice said. "I know Rarity but…" Twilight almost sounded like she was pleading as the conversation lapsed into an awkward silence. I stood shocked at what I heard was it… was it me they were talking about? A new found surge of confidence came over me, I messed my mane up slightly then laughed at myself for doing so… I raised my hoof to the door and slowly knocked. Twilight opened the door and blushed… again before speaking "Oh hey Storm Rider, do you need anything?" She said not looking at me but the carpet a few feet in front of me "Well… I was kinda hoping to get some breakfast or at the least meet some of your friends" I replied trying to keep a poker face. "Oh sure just let me grab my saddlebag and we can go" She said in a slightly rushed voice. I could hear hushed voices from indoors before a white unicorn with a purple mane appeared, smirking "Hello, Storm is it? My name is Rarity, pleasure to meet you" Rarity said in a calm voice keeping the smirk "Twilight will be out in a second, I shall leave you TWO alone. She pranced away down the hall with a huge smirk.
